    Blizzard did not provide what they promised. it failed to live up to expectations, it ruined its original game, the Blizzard I grew up with is long gone

    I actually didn't buy the game.. was planning too, but when i saw that you literally butchered my childhood game, to an extent that i couldn't even imagine, i made an account on metacritic just so that i can show my disappointment. This game, and Blizzard, are dead. And it truly marks the time we live of "game as a service" and "gamers as costumers".     From now on, this game should be referred as Warcraft 3: reFAIL. There are no words to describe the disappointment that occurred mostly, as a result of false advertisement. We received a tiny portion of what we’ve been promised! Blizzard that we all loved is no more, as the only concern they have now (along with ACtivision) is pure profits. I think that even the term reforged, wereFrom now on, this game should be referred as Warcraft 3: reFAIL. There are no words to describe the disappointment that occurred mostly, as a result of false advertisement. We received a tiny portion of what we’ve been promised! Blizzard that we all loved is no more, as the only concern they have now (along with ACtivision) is pure profits. I think that even the term reforged, were intentionally used to make you believe that it’s something more then updated graphics. There is no point to go into details. They will fix bugs, make a better optimization, eventually..but we all been lied upon. And that is a good sight, at least for me, to stop supporting the company in any ways.     Maybe when Blizzard is on the brink of bankruptcy. Then he will understand his mistakes. Reforged is a total mistake something like this should not see the light of day. Crossing the new version with the old version from 2002 is a major mistake.

    Esse e o pior tipo de remasterização possível em um jogo. Somente deram update nas texturas e estão cobrando extremamente caro nisso, o valor de um jogo completo sem novidades nenhuma.     It is literally just new models. It is nothing like shown on Blizzcon. What a headshot to a game that is my childhood. Caused by a greedy company that only cares about money and nothing else. Blizzard as we know it is dead.

I dont give a crap that blizzard promissed upgrades custscenes, or that interface is not as they told us. Bugs will be fixed, but where the hell is old battlenet, where is single Player, what about laders? Clans? And finally why the hell they had to merge it with old w3 game? First thing we see is menu which looks good, but fell little bit irresponsive. Loading screens are glitched and show full map after the game fully loads. I was looking forward to reliving my childhood again, but instead, the only childhood that I will be reliving is piracy because Blizz also deletes the original version of the game.

    Okay, the graphics are more or less modern, but where are the shadows? Constant problems in the game. Lack of competent ladder. Where are all the promised videos? From that moment, Activision-Blizzard finally lost my confidence.
    Now its just Activision, no Blizzard more.

My old WC3 client now weighs 30 gb and I'm not gonna download all this garbage with updated cheap looking menu screen and corny WOW-style new models that I won't even have access to (nor would I want it). I'll just stop paying attention to Blizzard products altogether. Good luck with your shareholders.

I took comfort in the fact that I still was able to go back to the classic wc3 if reforged wasn’t up to snuff. But then blizzard to something like this, not ok! I would be fine with whatever as long as the original game remained unchanged. I would also be fine with anI pre ordered the game, playing some melee and eventually some custom games. Patiently waiting for the remastered campaign. I took comfort in the fact that I still was able to go back to the classic wc3 if reforged wasn’t up to snuff. Campaign was not what was advertised. No cinematics other than 1st one advertised. no in-game cut scene improvements, no voice over, no changes to game (i.e. Extra Hard Mode).

    The only thing that was delivered on    Garbage. should be free to play for this.     The only thing that was delivered on character models, which aren't quality for 2020 and lack art style of original. Environment, trees etc are bland and worse than original.

    Even when/if they fix the bugs (there are a lot) and bring back multiplayer environment of past. It's $30 for updated character models.

    I refunded it and play on classic and find it just as nostalgic. People don't realize what they are paying for. You can still play classic for free with other reforged players, albeit in this crappy new UI they force fed.    … Expand

    This is one of worst thing that happen in game field. The take my classic version of warcraft 3 to something much worse and I can not back to previous one. They cut off many battlenet feature from classic, co now playing online is really frustraiting. Next thing is dubbing, they make new one but I hate it and after my classis was updated I cant switch back to voices and sound that i like.This is one of worst thing that happen in game field.     This makes me so sad. To see one of my all time favorite games ruined by a company that doesn't care about it's customers anymore. Unfinished game with a lot of missing features and new policies to keep players from making it better,

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
