    This game is a quick cash grab. Do not buy. Warning not finished, the visual updates are only 30hz. Not even finished with over 1 billion leaks of bugs don't even try to debug this mess.

    Stupid remaster that broke a lot and fixed nothing. Models are ok, but unfinished and the worst part is I can no longer go back to the original game. Warcraft III is by far my favourite game. Its editor helped me get into programming and I have created a lot of maps with it. Now it feels like Blizzard backstabbed us all. Instead of a Thriumphant Remaster we got a Mediocre Unplayable HollowStupid remaster that broke a lot and fixed nothing. Models are ok, but unfinished and the worst part is I can no longer go back to the original game. Warcraft III is by far my favourite game. Its editor helped me get into programming and I have created a lot of maps with it. Now it feels like Blizzard backstabbed us all. Instead of a Thriumphant Remaster we got a Mediocre Unplayable Hollow game and Lost the original, one of the best RTS games of all times.     Out already and it breaks even the original game. Not only that, the new Blizzard's Eula, prevents the use of the map creations, as they can officially steal your ideas. Thankfully they were too late to steal DOTA.

    my enitre gaming aspect of childhood was built around polish dubbing of warcraft 3, which was irreversibly removed with a new update. why did they touch classic wc3 and brake it? lag, bad fps, i cant even access campaign, it crashed me to menu. can't even refund a game i bought 12 years ago.

I had high hopes for Warcraft Reforged, the classic games team was communicating directly with the Warcraft community and had already implemented many features (with a few understandable bugs) into the original Warcraft 3 apparently in preparation for Reforged.I have been playing Warcraft 3 for literally 17 years, playing Warcraft games in general for almost as long as I can remember. I had high hopes for Warcraft Reforged, the classic games team was communicating directly with the Warcraft community and had already implemented many features (with a few understandable bugs) into the original Warcraft 3 apparently in preparation for Reforged. Then they killed the classic client, ruined the original campaign and destroyed the original battlenet. I don't know what to say, I would have given this a moderate score because its a decent attempt at a remaster, but the fact that it removes the ability to play the original is obscene.… Expand

    The game isn’t completely broken, I’ve still found it to be playable, but there’s so much lost/damaged functionality compared to the classic version (which gets erased and replaced with reforged without warning if you download its latest update).

    There are no longer global custom game lobbies (e.g. if you’re playing on the European server, you can’t connect to a lobby hosted on the NA    The game isn’t completely broken, I’ve still found it to be playable, but there’s so much lost/damaged functionality compared to the classic version (which gets erased and replaced with reforged without warning if you download its latest update).

    There are no longer global custom game lobbies (e.g. if you’re playing on the European server, you can’t connect to a lobby hosted on the NA server). Custom game lobbies can and will crash for no discernible reason. The game is still riddled with desync issues which will drop one or more player(s) from a game with no warning. There are numerous errors with graphics and sounds (some portraits fail to update when swapping between units, discovered areas that are in fog of war are almost entirely blacked out, some sounds play more than once, etc.), as well as general failures with the game’s engine (the game will ignore lots of customizations for maps made with the world editor. Using a custom unit for a metamorphosis spell? You can have the illidan model. Using a custom effect for an immolation spell? You can have the default green cloud and nothing else. etc.). Also, load times in the game and in the world editor have increased drastically.

    A remaster was promised, and what we got was a new coat of paint and then someone running a bulldozer through the code while playing “spin the wheel” on what functionality would get carried over and what wouldn’t.

    Again, the game is still playable, but at what cost?    … Expand

    Loved the original and this game looks and feels like it was made a year after that one came out. So now i have what might as well be a duplicate game on my computer. I have never asked for a refund on a game but this will probably be the first. If this is what we can expect from a remake then I don't want them to touch Diablo 2.

    Warcraft Reforge... more like Warcraft: Refunded. Stay away from this game and don't give this awful company any money. They've gotten so lazy in the last couple of years to the point where they can't even make a proper remake of a game they made so many years ago. They had to do VERY little and they still **** up. I laughed so much when I watched some illidan vs arthas cutscene in Reforged - both of them look stiff, terrible sounds, graphics and just everything in this game is not good. But it wasn't until I saw gameplay from the original Warcraft 3, that it hit me: I am enjoying Warcraft 3. The only    I am having a great time!
    So far I am enjoying playing Warcraft 3: Reforged. But then I realized, it's for all the wrong reasons. I had heard that the whole "New stories and altered lore to fit in better with the current lore" had been scrapped, which I thought was a shame. But it wasn't until I saw gameplay from the original Warcraft 3, that it hit me: I am enjoying Warcraft 3. The only difference is that it is HD. And the HD is a bit hit or miss - sometimes it looks really cool, and other times it looks stiff and generic. Seems like I paid 30$ for a fan HD rendition of the game.

    I like how the lips match the words the characters are saying. I really don't understand why the rest of the face is so stiff though. This is most apparent in the cutscenes, which are not the promised cinematic retelling of classic in-game cutscenes, but just the same cutscenes from Warcraft 3, but with the newer models. Happy Arthas at the beginning of the game basically has the exact same expression as angry Arthas later on in the game.

    TL;DR: I am enjoying the Warcraft 3 elements, but I am not quite sure exactly what I paid 30$ for, nor why it took so long to develop, even though the features that seemingly would've taken the most effort weren't implemented.    … Expand

    Let this game serve as a reminder to never pre-order, no matter how hard it is for a company to screw the game up.

    Reforged was supposed to be an HD graphics overhaul that was laid on top of the existing game allowing for those using the original version to play alongside the new. They removed features that had been in the game for 17 years and altered the way the game plays (units don't path properly, terrain blocks movements that didn't use to).     I waited for a long time in anticipation for a game I loved playing to come back updated many years later.
    Then Warcraft 3 Reforged happened and it reminded me why Blizzard, Activision, EA, and Epic are all **** companies now a days.

    Since games became a large part of society now of course corporate green played a role in all the bad things that have happened

    I really wanted to like this game, but it's unplayable in its current state, and it robbed players of the classic game as well, denying everyone the pleasure of playing the original masterpiece that was Warcraft 3. Hopefully Blizzard puts forth the effort, but I feel like the percentage of that happening at this point is the same as the score I'm giving it.

    Graphics are rubbish. Compared to classic it's harder to distinguish units and the unique colours that gave classic it's feel are gone.

    I played about 10 games and switched it back to classic mode

    Blizzard used to be trustworthy about putting out their games with immense care and love for their players and their players' needs. now all there is are bean counters sitting in the background counting the coins they make. There are no creative people in Blizzard anymore, just old heads hanging around waiting for their retirement. It's truly sad what's happened to this once great company!

    Yo lo pre compre tan pronto salio disponible y pague el costo mas alto que incluía otras cosas, si hubiese salido como se prometió y se mostró en primer lugar, el costo estaba totalmente justificado y hubiera valido totalmente pero por suerte hice reembolso tan pronto me entere de los recortes y que después corrieran la fecha...

Taking products that aren't even 100% online, offline? That we've owned for years? The game (WC3 Reforged) is a total burning pile of hot garbage. No promises were kept during their announcement 2 years ago. There's no automated tournaments, 3d backgrounds, custom campaigns, features that all existed in the original game, but the remake has less and less the more you look around it's been entirely gutted and crashes and disconnects you from matches, it just doesn't work. This isn't something you patch when they're missing art assets. That's development issues. They also changed the Terms of Service so that you can't use any custom assets, and more, such as taking 3d models (even if u make them urself) that look like Goku, and saying that it's not allowed and banning you. Oh and they're banning you if you complain about not getting a refund.

    I can’t tell you how excited I was to see this being remade! This game was my childhood and to see it come back with a modern touch made me even more excited. Watching the new and improved cutscenes had me in awe, that we’d be able to see a more dynamic angle to this beloved classic. However BLIZZARD decided to actually lie about the game they redid (they still have their unfulfilledI can’t tell you how excited I was to see this being remade! The UI wasn’t touched up, which they promised would be fixed, the cutscenes were still the same as they were back in 2002, with maybe better sound design. I got my refund thankfully because I will not pay $30 to play a game from 17 years ago with only better graphics to its name. If they want me to buy WARCRAFT III: REFORGED, they need to give fans what they saw at BlizzCon 2018. Please do the right thing here Blizzard Entertainment. Please fix this.     Hire outsourcers to draw new models. Put this models and new main menu to the old game. Make it lag and have even more bugs (The old game already had a lot of problems: lags and disconnects in castom maps. No reconnection and so.) . Sell it. (c) Blizzard

    It is just a remastered game, calm down. Masterpiece with new textures, minor bugs shurly will be fixed, you can even activate older graphics. Custom maps are working as well, campaign is nostalgic. I don't understand what where you were expecting? It's a solid 8 with some bugs.

А ещё вспомнил вот ,что ну думаю ладно поиграю в классическую версию со старым интерфейсом но вот проблема классического варкрафта 3 у меня почему то нету не могу запустить когда нажимаю на ярлык старой версии игры мне открывает бателнет с варкрафт 3 рефордж.
    Короче я сделал для себя вывод луче бы не было этого рефорджа теперь и в классическую версию не сыграть по нормальному( старую версию игры) и мне грустно видеть во ,что скатилась игры из-за какого то ремастера    … Expand

    The game feels so rushed and made by rookies. I'd say the original Warcraft 3 is miles better than this.

    Even without all the bugs plaguing the game this is a very bad product.

    My biggest issue with reforged is the false advertising. I preordered this game 15 months before release (yes yes, I know. don't preorder. that's on me). Almost NOTHING they promised was in the released version. They didn't communicate the cut features either, they just dropped it on the unassuming public. I played the entire first campaign (the fall of Arthas) hoping something would get better, but no. No refurbished UI, no improved cutscenes, none of it. I basically paid 30 dollars for a texture improvement and not a great one at that. Sure it looks nice when they aren't moving but as of release, the actual animations are janky and robotic. There are bugs being reported that existed in the original release 17 years ago. In addition the changes to the license agreement and the stripping of features that existed in the original release... I am shocked and ashamed that Blizzard thought fans would be happy with this and I am done buying their products if this is what they think is worth my money.    … Expand

    I wish I could give this a negative score as it has retroactively ruined one of their best games and communities in one fell swoop. Congrats Blizzard you are now more hated than Bethesda and EA. You earned it though.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
