    This is just bad no custom campaign support. Blizzards owns anything you make in map editor. No ladder or guilds on battle net and no cross region matches. These are all features of original game...

    I wish I could say this is the only mess up blizzard has done lately sadly its just the final nail in Blizzards coffin...

Would you pay for the char animations from 2002 in 2020?! It's like cosmetic mod but for $20. I mentioned the all company re-voiced, but even unit sounds (death, shots, e.t.c.) are left the same

    I spent so much time playing this game that my friends didn't believe me. A horrible day I lost the physical game so I could not play it anymore. With the start of university classes, there was not time to play Warcraft so I didn't buy the game. So when Warcraft: reforged was announced I was hype and decided to buy pro-order.     If you want to play the amazing original Reign of Chaos pvp game that existed for two decades, you are now SOOL. I literally played that almost every day since launch - easily one of the top players in play time.

    Not even the cinematic of "the culling" was kept. I Know that they said that they were not going to do anything of that, but the priced was not reduced in the same way.

    I like it alot, the custom maps and the campaign are awesome

    ofc there is ladder and mmr missing but I am sure blizzard will bring that soon enough

    This is an unmitigated disaster. I wish Blizzard never merged with Activision, that was the downfall of a Software House i loved. I still hope one day they will rise again, at least a bit. Sadly i know Blizzard can't go back to be an independent SH anymore unless there's a miracle, but I hope they will change their ways

    You're buying a texture pack for 30€.
    Some in-game elements look even worse than before.
    No promises made have been held, e.g: all remade in-game cut-scenes (shown at blizzcon 2018) have been removed.

    In addition to everything everyone has already pointed out I hardly see any comment about the new use policy. Basically everything a custom map creator creates belongs to Blizzard now. I'm not expecting much from this game anymore even if they fix a lot of this f****** mess...
    Guess I'll try for a refund and hope for the best.

    New Graphic are uglier than the original one, FPS are worse than console games, and the Game is full buged . Even For Free i would prefer the original one. INSTANT REFUND

    Overall game stability (desyncs or crashes would almost never happen, now custom games are plagued with both)

    Online lobby list and in-game chat, available from a browser (what games are hosted right now, how many players are in a lobby, etc.)
    Competitive custom games (auto-balance and matchmaking based on ELO or empirical algorithms specialized for each custom map)
    Ability to kick/ban trolls (after the removal of bots they added the ban functionality, but you would have to re-ban the person every session)
    Better ping/latency
    Protection against hacks and maphacks
    Anti-spam protection
    Automatic replay saving and archiving with easy search from a website
    Game/replay archive
    Probably many more things that I can’t recall at this moment

    I was extremely dissatisfied and angry with this game. I was looking forward the most to the modern multiplayer updates they promised, but instead they just took all competitive multiplayer away. Disgusting.

Лично я ждал именно ремастер от игры, его я и получил.10 баллов, дабы хоть как-то компенсировать то, что все хейтят игру тупо ради хейта. Изначально разрабы хотели сделать не просто ремастер, а нечто большее. Но нытьё от фанов, чтобы не трогали шедевральную кампанию, заставило близзов передумать и оставиться на ремастере. Теперь игроки ноуют что в игре нет ничего нового кроме моделек. Лично я ждал именно ремастер от игры, его я и получил. Лагов в игре не обнаружил, вылетов и тормозов лично у меня нет. Меняйте дырявых провайдеров и деревянный компьютер, а не обвиняйте оптимизацию на ровном месте. Да, игра не идеальна и требуются некоторые работы над ошибками (дело пары-трёх патчей), но 1.2 балла это явно незаслуженная оценка для этой игры. Да и большинство "критиков" громят игру даже не поиграв в неё лично, насмотревшись недостримеров и прочитав статьи таких же недокритиков.     It's not a remake. It's just a very poor HD remaster! The graphics hasn't been upgraded much same to audio. Interface is just copy past from the old version. Blizzard should try residen evil 2 remake before they did they remaster.

    I never played Warcraft 3 when was I young but I did play shortly after Warcraft 3 Reforged was announced. The issues are very very glaring. 1) The UI is buggy and awful.
    2) The “upgraded” terrain is actually lesser quality than the original.
    3) The menu is buggy. 4) Almost everything else is buggy. 5) Blizz used amazing cutscenes to sell the game then used much worse cutscenes in game 6)    I never played Warcraft 3 when was I young but I did play shortly after Warcraft 3 Reforged was announced.     At first I was very excited for this game as I was hopeful with Blizzcon, they not even added new art, but new cutscenes and music from WoW, at the beginning it felt like this was a team that Blizzard let them do whatever they want, to one of their most beloved games.     I own the original Warcraft 3, I did not purchase Reforged, yet Blizzard saw fit to replace my old copy with the new remaster with the upgraded graphics turned off. Because of this my game, which has been running fine for years, is now a broken piece of garbage as Reforged has many technical issues. Thanks Activision-Blizzard!!!!

    Retroactively makes the original worse. Removes 3rd party custom games, poorly done animation on newer models. One of the worst Menu screens I’ve seen in a while. It feels like Blizzard assigned 2 people to work on this and **** off for 2 years. Unquestionably the worst remaster of a game ever, I will never buy another Blizzard product ever again.

    It's obvious with the horrible rating that Blizzard destroyed WC3 reforged.

    The worst part IMO is that they destroyed classic WC3 as well, forcing an update that downgrades a beloved game. Don't spend any more money on Blizzard guys, this is the only way to get the ones in charge (who know nothing about game development, what the gamers want, and don't uphold Blizzard original values) to act.

WoW is dying, HoTS is dying, Starcraft 2 is more or less, Diablo is more or less, Overwatch is dead, Hearthstone is more or less but many people hate the new adventures because they are not like the olds.… Expand

This is shameful, the people who green lit this should be fired and held accountable.     I'm completely disappointed, the game is full of bugs and broken promises, no new UI, horrible graphics and no new cutscenes,

    The gameplay and controls are clunky and somehow worse than the 2002 version.

    But what hurts me the most is how they deleted the old version, there is no more warcraft 3, just this broken reforged version that doesn't even feel like warcraft anymore.

    WTF with the Blizzard taking all the rights from custom modes? Why would someone build any custom mode with the chance to go viral but to win nothing? Other than that the cut scenes feel like garbage. This doesn't feel like a reforge just a re-launch to win more money, but this is what has been moving companies more money and less quality in the end that IS what matters.

It is difficult to reccomend this game to anyone, aside from the biggest Wacraft fans who will purchase the game for it's high price anyway. For the others I suggest the old version of WarcraftW3 is a great but dated RTS that can capture you with a good story and fun gameplay.     Warcraft 3 is the best RTS of it's time and after 17 years of hype and cries for a sequel this whimper of a game is a big disappointment. If it isn't broke, don't fix it, and the many things "fixed" in this remaster just aren't working, aside from couple small wins here and there. Without going into detail, I can report that many moments from the orginal in terms of cutscenes were lost to poor redesign, many missions were changed for the worse thanks to a poor rebalancing. Some races seem to be much better looking than the others, for example Night Elves are just gorgeous while Undead seem to lack artistic polish.

    The original was made immortal especially thanks to it's funky graphics, the modern translation of them just doesn't work and looks ugly. This is not reimagining of a game, it is rather poor remaster with a few changes along the way and most of them are not even good. I play Wacraft 3 since 2002, I consider myself one of the games biggest fans and I wanted to love this game with all my heart and soul. But as I write this review, my score just went down from 5 to 3 only remembering how many things just seem to be the salt into the wound in this game, rather than the nostalgia trip I hoped for. There is nothing really new and exciting to see, it's sad how such amazing story full of great characters can be ruined by bad voicework, stiff cutscenes and needless design decisions.

    The only two positive things from this release are that Blizzard is interested in Wacraft RTS and will continue to support and update this game, until it can be a good purchase for half the price in much better state andthat the big uproar about this game only shows there is a fanbase and people are hungry for more Wacraft RTS. If this game is going to bring us Wacraft 4 or just delay it another 20 years is though yet to be decided...

    - Not a great remaster, definitely not reimagining

    - Graphic bugs, sound bugs, login problems
    - Some animations are stiff and make unclear what is happening on the battlefield
    - A lot of the original magic is lost with bad art choices
    - There is not enough new to enjoy
    - High price

    3/10 - not reccomended

    I am fan of warcraft. I've played warcraft 1 and 2 on the pentium 2 and playstation one.
    I've played warcraft 3 company about 10 times, and played custom maps for about 10 years.
    I've played wow for 3 years. I went to the cinema for warcraft movie (That was not bad, but worse than i'd expected. But what is your wc3 reforged? Looks like a spit on my face!

    Game was falsely advertised with far more features broken or stripped away than added. Furthermore, their policy regarding modding is soulless and disgusting. I made an exception to my rule against pre-ordering because I was such a fan of the Warcraft series. I will never make that mistake again. Time to get a refund.

    So broken. I can't even get to main start menu. Just a black screen with a mouse cursor. Messaged bug team at Blizzard and they have no idea what's going on (many people are complaining about this issue). The beta worked on my PC so why not the final game? I paid for a finished game, not a black screen!

    I love my custom games. Tower Defense was a stuttery mess. The game didn't even get optimizations. The higher poly models only accounted for more stress on the old game engine.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
