    The promises (as still shown on there webpage at this time) of extra content, redone cutscenes and the like are all not in the game.
    Broken so many custom games, the game itself crashes multiple times. I'm honestly shocked by how bad this was, I expected a    Reforged ? More like Downgraded. Apart from the new models (which admittedly are nice) they've removed so much from what it once was.

    Somehow they managed to completely butcher a great game. Literally all they had to do with update character models, UI, and textures to high res. Instead they managed to break the map editor, make the UI ugly compared to the original, completely ruin the atmosphere of the original game, break the campaign, make the b.net chat rooms feel like garbage, change the portrait rewards intoSomehow they managed to completely butcher a great game. They strung us along for 2 years of setbacks just to give us a product that is actually worse than the original. Not even the gameplay feels right. Units get stuck, spells will randomly fail to hit, because of the unit collision feeling different it also feels imbalanced just based on that. I played many many many hours of the original and this just almost feels like a cheap knockoff done by an independent studio. 0/10 do not recommend.… Expand

You’ll get some new models in exchange for: confusing UI (with NO solo custom option, so forget testing your maps if not by running on WE), buggy gameplay, removal of the ranked ladder, unstable and makes your pc run so hot that you may even consider opening a new sauna in your town, and not to mention that they’ve killed classic and forced people whoA downgraded version of the classic.     It's just sad.A game that was the pillar of warcraft and in so many people hearts,to be treated this way is almost a crime.They should've paid respect to the people who made the original and deliver to us a great remaster,not for us but for them,the people who gave their passion and energy to make Blizzard and all the great games which are getting butchered right now. So sad...

    В моем случае, мне не понравилась русская локализация главного героя КУЛЬТОВОЙ игры. Жаль что актер озвучивающий Артаса этого не понимает и просто ВЫСРАЛ из себя пару слов без каких-либо эмоций. Его выбрали в качестве голоса одного из самого узнаваемого антагониста в играх, а ему ПОХУЙ, ему блять ПОХУЙ! Да У МЕНЯ ЭМОЦИЙ БОЛЬШЕ КОГДА Я ДАЖЕ СРУ!     False advertisement, cutscenes differ from what was advertised. Game is buggy and unplayable. Remake looks worse than the original version. Literal cash grab.

    Okay... Game is a joke. Moreover. Did you try to open the game in MAC OS ? i have mac book pro 2019.. it is working almost without lags if you set all graphics to minimum, and maximum fps to 20.. and menu is still lagging ? really ?

    A very disappointing release which doesn't hold up to what was promised, not even to what is still being advertised on the game's website right now to this moment.

    It feels like a downgrade from the original, 17 year old game's release.     Technically this game is a mess. Low framerates in menus, frequent game crashes for many users, campaign missions have a chance to make you lose instantly, multiplayer matches have severe connection and desynchronisation problems in matchmaking and custom games.

    Stay away from this for now, if you're really interested in the game, keep an eye out on potential updates, see if the situation improves, then consider getting it if there are noticable improvements.

    As of right now, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone, not in this state.    … Expand

    Спасибо за проделанную работу, кто бы что не говорил а графика и прорисовка это 10 баллов. Ну а в начале все ДЕТИЩА близов до вменяемого состояния догонялись сотнями патчей, тот вк3 тфт. Единственный осадок, что обещанный ладдер не сделали. Ставлю авансом 10 в надежде на скорый ладдер.Спасибо за проделанную работу, кто бы что не говорил а графика и прорисовка это 10 баллов.     Основная проблема этой игры: слишком много времени с выхода оригинала, потому игроки и построили у себя в головах образ офигенной игры с графикой из Black Desert. НО ремастеринг сам по себе палка о двух концах: да, гарантирует что аудитория уже есть, но вот только и поменять нельзя слишком многое, иначе выйдет уже другая игра. И вот, когда вышел Reforged, все резко разочаровались ибо он не соответствует тому воздушному образу, что был у них в голове.… Expand

    Ну емае перекинули близзард работу на китайцев и вот итог: игра плохо оптимизирована, только что на средненьком компе вылетела кампания, КАМПАНИЯ КАРЛ!!! Также всех так знатно на*бали наблизконе, показали яркие краски какие будут крутые миссии, ролики, а в итоге...

    Sometimes the old ways are best. Personally for 30$ I'm disappointed with the outcome of this game. If they had delivered a product similar to AoE 2 Definitive Edition I would be giving 5 stars. The fact they deprecated some features from classic wc3 matchmaking is ridiculous.

Причем я далеко не искушенный игрок, и часто закрываю глаза на мелочи, да даже был готов мириться с "даунгрейдом" графики, на фоне    ЗЫААА ДААЛАААРАААНН!!!111!!

    Мне бесконечно грустно это признавать, но Близзард действительно сдохла, как компания, которая делала упор на комьюнити, а не на монету.    … Expand

Что бы прям на старте все было отлично, там ведь столько работы, и синематики и катсцены на движке игры " но когда она всетаки вышла я расстроился, нет ни возможности поставить старую озвучку, ни катсцен( котрые на близконе показывали и которых нет!!!) ни даже 3д моделек в меню выбораПредзаказал игру с момента анонса, когда игру перенесли думал мол "ладно, отполируют игру до блеска! They ruined Warcraft III entirely. I don't know what were they expecting with this 2003(17 year) engine, but here it is, another failure :D. Get your heads out of your asses and think right.     Blizzard is dead. Has been a great run but at this point it is clear that their investors have claimed complete control (creative and not) and it shows. They have not kept any of their promises, it's very buggy and even lacks features that we used to have in the original game. Not only did they release this poor excuse for a game, they releases a huge patch for warcraft 3 which removes/brakes tons of features and gamemodes. Other maps and gamemodes were banned due to copyright issues, this should not be a problem to begin with since we are talking about user made content. It wouldn't surprise me to discover that this happened due to the stake holders having business with the copyright holders referenced in that content. I would give it a 2 but at this point I'll give it a 0 for their poor treatment of their customers. If you want to do a good thing for the games industry don't support such a company.… Expand

    I pre-ordered WC3:R shortly after it's announcement 2018 because I loved Starcraft as a child and naturally    A personal review from someone that played every Blizzard RTS from Starcraft. I didn't pay too much attention to what was promised about the campaign and I think any problems with cutscenes and such have been discussed enough by now. Trying to share my perspective on this game.

    I pre-ordered WC3:R shortly after it's announcement 2018 because I loved Starcraft as a child and naturally progressed to WC3 when it released back in the day. I really looked forward to this as I LOVE RTS and it's competitive side. I've been looking for my RTS laddering fix for a long time.
    Sadly the remake of Starcraft was a huge failure in my book and didn't revitalize the scene. A major problem for me was how the ladder was set up. It was literally like Brood Wars - a 1v1 ladder with only the most basic stats. Games are more fun with friends though and I even convinced some friends that wanted to play 2v2 ladder with me. I'm a good RTS player because I spent thousands of hours practicing. None of my real life friends come close and aren't interested in playing 1v1s with me. Getting stomped is no fun and it's no fun for me either. Somehow I expected a remake to provide improvement on that side - a league system like present in SCII for example. Many of the games problems aren't fixed to this day.

    The beta already offered a first glance at WC3:R when I played it in early December 19. I struggled to even get into a game due to a lot of bugs but the games I got into I actually enjoyed. A shocking moment was when I tried to team up with a friend and it wouldn't work whatsoever. I credited it to the non-working Battle.net-friends implementation and tried to keep my hopes up. I even wrote a lengthy post on the official forums pointing out problems, hoping for a delayed release to fix everything and them not repeating the mistakes they made with their Starcraft remaster.

    When I saw they postponed the release I was VERY hopeful they got the message and this will actually be the big thing we waited for. Sadly, it isn't. To my disappointment I had to see that even functionalities that we already had in the original game were removed.
    For example:
    There’s no competitive ladder right now. You read that right - the very company that ignited the passion for RTS esports in so many gamers released the remake of their amazing game without a competitive ladder! There’s also no profiles or tournaments like there were in the original game

    I really didn’t have any expectations for anything singleplayer related and I’d have been fine even if they kept the old ladder system. I mean I really hoped for the introduction of a division-like system and quality of life functionalities like reconnecting to your games. Maybe even live-spectating would have been a cool idea.

    The sad reality is that they removed one of THE key aspects from the game (speaking about competitive ladder). This game is far worse compared to the game it was supposed to remaster and I just can’t wrap my head around how you could **** up both the Starcraft and Warcraft remaster. I mean the game already was brilliant, there wasn’t much to do besides graphic overhaul, bringing existing systems more in line with nowadays industry standards and maybe adding basic quality of life features as the cherry on top.
    Unless they add a good iteration of a ranked competitive play soon, and I’m talking a matter of days here, this game is dead on arrival. I’ve seen how they handled Starcraft and if there’s nothing done about it now it’s not gonna be fixed even in a year from now.

    Giving it 1/10 just because the game plays good when it actually works, just like the classic version of the game. Everything else about it is a cluster****. If you are trying to decide whether to buy or not please read up if the thing you care about is actually in the game right now. If you are about competitive play like I am don’t bother right now.    … Expand

Sadly, all we got was a HD texture pack with none of the promised features. This is blatant false advertising and Blizzard should shut the game down and release it again but do it good this time. I’ve played more than 4 hours in custom maps in different genres such as TD,HD, RPG and etc. and the only thing that I want to say - play classic Warcraft 3 and save your money. Animations, graphics and all other things are better in classic version.     Optimization, no custom maps, cut off cinematics. The whole game feels like it's broken, rushed, undeveloped. This is a truly sad day. After 8.3 I have high hopes for this game , very sad to see blizzard in this poor shape.

    Got excited, pre-ordered and got like the same game like 2002, but with slightly better graphics. However, there were massive performance problems, promised content was missing and a lot of features from the old version have been stripped.

    It's a mess. Thank god I got a refund.

Игру купил и успел поиграть, проблемы были только с лагами в сетевой игре, но не критичные, больше никаких проблем не нашел, это не ремейк, а ретекстур и модельки, выполненные в очень хорошем качестве и в огромном количестве, еще мне понравился упрощённый поиск матчей и различные фоны в игре.Хочу поддержать разработчиков, игра не заслуживает такого дикого хейта.     30 dollars for a 17 year old game, and these crooks couldn't even spend the week or two to update the 17 year old UI on the opening screen? let alone the UI in game. While the units look fresh and great up close, the limit graphics options leave the graphics fuzzy in the normal RTS view. At blizzcon I played the DEMO and the cutscenes were incredible, most of those have been cut. I would guess they did this to lessen the requirements on the systems, but with all the other missing stuff that was promised your guess is as good as mine. Its also concerning that key elements that were in the DEMO at blizzcon have been removed.

    I would like to say its a quick buck scheme, but i paid for this game 1 year and 3 months ago.. Yes they have had my money for 15 months nearly.    … Expand

    2. Нельзя запускать кастомные кампании, а играть кастомки через одиночную игру - нельзя, только игра по сети с ботом без пауз и использования команд. (это не вариант)

    -Перерисованных роликов(Сначала говрили что это будет, потом что не будет, потом что будет частично)
    -Качественного бнет с внутриигровыми турнирами, кланами, каналами
    -Оптимизацию ФПС(Даже на хороших карточках есть пролаги в моменты построения )
    -От себя лично еще ожидал может каких-то расширенных кампаний, которые не вносили бы изменения в лор(Может про мурлоков рандомных или какие то карты по примеру кампании за рексара). Благо таких карт-кампаний нарисовали за 18 лет существования вк3 уже овер 100500.

    Было бы все это - была бы оценка 10/10, не смотря на мелкие нюансы типо непривычной озвучки(старую версию которой, кстати, также обещали сделать доступной ) неестественной травы, путаницы из юнитов и прочего.

    0/10 считаю справедливой оценкой так как предзаказав игру почти за полтора года до ее выхода в итоге я не получил даже функционала 18(!) летней давности. Это не игра, это бета.    … Expand

    Why so low when the game is technically playable at this point? Well, because not only it's not worth its price and is still a bug-ridden mess, but what really subtracts points is the fact that by releasing reforged they have virtually killed classic community and made our experience worse for a 17-year old game all out of sudden.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
