    I have never seen a company give such a blatant middle finger to its community, the way Blizzard screwed up the classic WC3 client is inexcusable. It's like living out the worst case scenario of an all-digital, all-service future of video games.

Blizzard вам даже сказали, что так и сделают в угоду вам. Но когда вышла игра все вдруг поняли, что им хочется изменений. И да, они есть. Вы не замечаете этих изменений, потому что для вас главное поныть. Изменения карт произошло, даже во второй миссии Альянса. Никто не замечает мелочей, а ведь на этом и строится атмосфера игры. Диалоги в русской озвучке были изменены для Лора, что является верным решением, да, наша озвучка была лучшей среди всех. Но Ее нужно было поменять. ГРОМ ЗАДИРА, это кто был? Пацан со двора? Который вечер задирал девчонок, прекратите ныть и дайте людям насладиться игрой, она из-за вас может погубнуть, сейчас вы решаете судьбу проекта,… Expand

    Blizzard has decided to screw over all custom game creators by claiming all custom games made in their world editor are their intellectual property. Reforged is in general a forced downgrade for wc3. They have killed a game that still had an active player base.

    Well, this is happening. W3 Reforged is not even a remake. The game's graphics are not improved. They are looking like the same. Also this game have problems with optimisation. And all user created maps are now owned by Blizzard.
    I have one advice for all gamers. Don't buy any game from Blizzard. There are many good MMORPG's instead of WoW. There are many good Hack and Slash games instead    Well, this is happening.     I wish it was a product created with thought and care. Instead it's a result of false marketing, little faith in success and extremely low budget. The best and the only new part of this edition is the models, and ironically they were outsourced.

    Blizzard should haven't given promises which they couldn't handle, if it was advertised with less ambitious ideas - the outcome would be different.

    В главе "Наступление чумы", при появлении амбаров с чумой или земли, начинаются какие то адские просадки. Со 100 фпс до 15-17...

    This is so crap, Blizzard finally ended its last epic series.

    I pre-purchased it, and I regret, refund requested and I won't touch any of the so called masterpiece from Blizzard ever again, thank you Blizzard I can finally dedicate my time to real life.

    People who give this high scores are rating Warcraft III, not the Reforged release. WC3 is a 10/10 game, but this remaster is a joke. It's buggy as hell, they messed up unit pathing which breaks the gameplay on a fundamental level. There are performance issues, graphics look cheap, no cinematics or cutscenes were reworked.

    Я не особо умею играть на развитие и не стремлюсь побеждать в ранговых играх в Warcraft, для меня это в первую очередь кастомные карты и сеттинг где всё это происходит и сделано. И что же ожидает простой фанат от ремастера? А ожидает что игра станет лучше сохранив то что у неё уже есть избавившись от детских болячек. Прекрасный пример это римейк Resident Evil 2. Новый движок, новая графика, удобный интерфейс и сохранение старой атмосферы. А что мы имеем в нашей ситуации. Что давно пропала Метелица которая делает всё сама большая часть работы была отдана на аутсорс Lemon Sky.
    Хотелось бы видеть
    -Новый движок в идеале с новыми моделями.
    -Улучшение интерфейса как в игре так и в меню. (Например в Starcraft 2 очень многие элементы сделаны великолепно)
    -Улучшение всего что касается пользовательских карт, того что уже многие годы держит на плаву эту прекрасную игру. (Создание удобного редактора карт, чтобы не приходилось пользоваться сторонним с большим функционалом. Банальное удобство в меню создания “своей игры” фильтры, сортировка)
    -Новая озвучка, которая не уступает старой.
    -Хороший тест игры перед выпуском, чтобы были протестированы все функции на предмет критических багов и сделана адекватная оптимизация.
    А что мы имеем в итоге.
    -Движок остался прежним, а модельки обновлены (модельки сделаны качественно есть пара не очень удачных но в остальном отлично) В итоге получается что сову натянули на глобус со всеми вытекающими проблемами. Вроде и узнаётся и даже вроде неплохо, но это пока не начал смотреть глубже.
    -Интерфейс остался практически без изменений, а новых функций практически нет. В меню своей игры чат накладывается на другое окно и использовать его невозможно. Видно что его просто взяли из Starcraft 2 и прилепили лишь бы был. Хорошо зарекомендовавших функций из Starcraft 2 так же нет)
    -Редактор карт вроде как и переделан но сторонний всё же удобнее. Минимальный функционал поиска кастомных карт присутствует.
    -Озвучка более менее получилась, но до оригинальной русской не дотягивает, как то пресно.
    -Ну а про тест игр Метелица похоже вообще забыла. Баги, лаги, просадка фпс, вылеты… В общем проблем масса и это в релизной версии.
    Какой же итог. Если у вас есть старый Warcraft 3 играйте в него, а мы будем надеятся что игру допилят и сделают ещё одной хорошей легендой, а не как сейчас...    … Expand

    Blizzard promised a remake, remastered version with new cut scenes. What we got is an HD reskin. The preview last 2018 was a lot better than the actual product. This is like Beta version if not alpha version at launch date. I regret pre-ordering this game. Probably my last blizz game. I made an acct for metacritic just to write this review. Absolutely disappointed.

    Feel like the only interesting thing I get with preorder is mount for WoW.
    Thanks you blizzard for trailer tears, then almost two years of unjustified expectation, then complete disappointment.

Clan support is gone, most of the chat features are gone, the interface is laggy and the game crashes while in menus. Even if you get into a multiplayer game it's likely that at least on player will get dropped. Automated tournaments are also gone.

    None of the promised upgrades were actually developed. There is no updated UI, it still takes half the screen, models were updated but are stilted and the diverse models are gone. They didn't even make a death knight model for multiplayer they just used the Arthas model. The 4 hours of new cut scenes didn't happen, lighting and contrast for environmental objects is wrong, the whole thing is a giant mess.

    But wait, that's not all! They killed the mod community that kept the game relevant all these years. You can't play the original since they removed it and shut down the battle.net 1.0 servers, and the new TOS gives Blizzard all rights to anything you create. Not just rights to use it, but the moral rights too! They don't even have to give you credit for your work! Clearly they are afraid of another dota happening, but you can't have another dota when you kill the community that might create it! Good job Blizzard.

    This is a sad day for gaming. The old guard at Blizzard have all either retired or been forced out. All that is left are empty suits and underpaid junior programmers. They outsourced a ton of work on this to Malaysia after firing 800 people to pad to pockets of executives and it shows.    … Expand

    I had to register here just to tell you guys how bad this game is. Nothing's working, full of bugs, ugly as hell, biggest flop of the year. The funny thing is that the previous version has MORE functionality than the new one. Is not worth the money ofc. Don't buy it. Be smart

    Exactly what I would expect from some overpaid, over-educated, uninspired, no creativity having SJW's from the west coast. I've played fan made SNES ports with less problems. Do not buy. Blizzard is done. Even editing key scenes I wanted to re-experience to make them kid friendly. Yea, gg blizzard.

    "Reforged - перековка" , походу ковали МУРЛАКИ из близзард своими кривыми ногами. Мой первый отзыв по всем играм. НЕ ПОКУПАЙТЕ ЭТУ ИГРУ. Обосрали то , что нельзя было обосрать.

Fake. Demo from 2018 was true remaster. 2020 release is just a lazy graphics update mod. UII feel cheated and robbed. Nearly every aspect of the remaster, advertised on Blizzcon 2018 was a lie. Fake. Demo from 2018 was true remaster. 2020 release is just a lazy graphics update mod. UI is clumsy, main menu is working in 10fps. Graphic updates - on one hand, we received solid update, on the other hand, they look like made by few different studios and it is hard to distinguish some units from each other. Terrain texture are just bad.
    Bonus: Blizzard decided to dump old translation and dubbing and remade it too. In "classic" version we had faithful translation with all original names. Now, everything was translated, including surnames. Instead of Sylvanas Windrunner we have "Sylvana rushing wind" in polish language. I was forced to switch to English after 5 minutes of game, in order to keep my sanity.    … Expand

На мой взгляд компания еще и с такой репутацией как у Вас, должна держать свои обещания и не изменять их на ходу как это было сделано с кат-сценами на внутри-игровом движке более чем через пол годаУважаемые Blizzard. Я не знаю, виноваты ли в складывающейся ситуации ваши партнеры из Activision, но могу сказать одно, доверие к Вам и вашим продуктам с каждым годом все больше подрывается. На мой взгляд компания еще и с такой репутацией как у Вас, должна держать свои обещания и не изменять их на ходу как это было сделано с кат-сценами на внутри-игровом движке более чем через пол года открытых предзаказов. Конечный продукт показывает, что основой всех принятых Вами решений: о переработке только двух синематиков, об отказе от кинематографичных катсцен на игровом движке, о неизменности сюжетных компаний в угоду World of Warcraft и о передаче части задач по разработке игры третьим компаниям является только один фактор - это желание сэкономить максимальное количество денег на разработке и заработать побольше денег на людской ностальгии и фанатах, причем заработать грязным методом... путем ввода людей в заблуждение. Не смотря на то, что это все еще старый и добрый Warcraft 3, т.к. все кампании на месте и ни капли не отличаются от того что нам показали почти 20 лет назад, нельзя сказать что игра плохая (не смотря на специфичные модели героев и юнитов), однако я не могу поставить сколь либо положительную оценку этой игре именно из-за отношения компании Blizzard к своим пользователям, к своим продуктам и к своим обещаниям.… Expand

    New graphics are **** Looks like i downloaded some splashy colorful mobile crap like Clash of Clans. Also it’s bad optimized - start screen lags insanely. Oh yes, and the new voice sound is awful! Also, localization sucks.

    The fact I have had to create an account on here to say how disappointed I am is disturbing. The game is very buggy and a lot of the promised features never made it to the game and the marketing team didn't openly communicate this to us. I have requested a refund.

    The game does not even work. You auto lose in the camp. So many features are gone, they closed the old b.net. DO NOT BUY! Fetch a copy of the old version and play that instead.

    If you expect good old fashioned w3 with new look u have already buyed it and I fill your pain. Lot of lags at cut scenes, lame sound of units etc. Half working game(MP special!) must cost much less then a blizz as for it. SC2 became free and it gives you much more than w3reforge.

Если сравнить траву и деревья, освещение в старой версии атмосфернее и приятнее в разы. В новой игре бездушно - темболее это не новая игра, а просто доделанная старая. I was so excited from the nostalgia... I rapidly lost it and it groaned to a stop. Its literally a 30$ texture pack. Upgraded some textures... did a couple cutscenes. and called it a day.     Game is good work with my pc setup, but I would like better servers for the lobby and custom hotkey binding. Campaign and graphics is ok in my opinion, but i'm most pvp player.

    Also in the game there is no button "single player" and "additional campaign" and i'm can't play single custom games =C

    As a fan who grew up playing this game with his 2 uncles on local lan and howling every time it turned night, then growing older playing tons and tons of custom games throughout the years, replaying the campaign a dozen times, I'd rather this remake not exist.

    Complete disgrace to the original team and all the fans who have loved this game over 2 decades.

    It must have been at the beginning that the developers wanted to completely redo the game, but then they realized that there was a lot of work to do and just scored on the game releasing an extremely crude product, not optimized, unfinished, maybe it will somehow fix it, but now I put a well-deserved mark of "0"

    New unit models are very well made.
    On this, the advantages of this remaster end. There are no new cutscenes, the battlenet looks primitive, there is no ladder and it is not clear why they left the texture of the earth as colorful as in the original and the models are pale..
    I think blizzard just did not have enough time .. shame on you, activision

    There rest of the game is old code, bugs and disappointment.

    Maybe the first game from Blizzard that don't keep in my collection.

    If this is the way Blizzard is headed I think they just lost me as a fan and customer in 2020...

    Doblaje espantoso, escenas pesimas, jugabilidad peor, no se como describir bien las emociones que me provoca esta mierda que han sacado una compañia como blizzard.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
