    This is the last time i let blizzard fool me into thinking they are putting effort into what they do. Some greedy executives **** ruined this game after they fired 800+ employees and it shows. Running the campaign crashes the game, bugs are one thing but this is just absurd.     Warcraft 3: Reforged is not living up to anybodys expectations. The visuals are clonky, there are alot of bugs, the cinematics are terrible, the promised beta playable at Blizzcon is not how the game turned out. Watch a comparison to see yourself. Blizzard cant even improve an 18 year old video game. On top of that they have made all with the old warcraft download a 50 gb patch to play atWarcraft 3: Reforged is not living up to anybodys expectations.     This is a massive disappointment! During BlizzCon 2018 Blizzard promised new mission animations, new voice overs, better UI and of course improved graphics and delivered none of these, except the redone Prophecy CGI intro and better models and textures. The difference between the BlizzCon showcase and release is staggering, considering the comparison videos floating everywhere. So,This is a massive disappointment!     With the announcement, they promised to make cards for the reality of WoW and this is a shame, 1 fan made the city editor more beautiful than blizzard.

    The only reason I am not refunding this is because I originally pirated the game as a kid... since I had no money and it could not be found anywhere for purchase (Romanian problems). But I loved it so much and I had so much fun with it! I only played single player, I finished the campaign so many times, such fond memories!     Blizzard promised updated campaign, cinematic cut-scenes, new voice overs, new interface and delivered none of that. New models are all what is new and even they a mostly sub-par. The game looked much better during Blizzcon.

Saw the weird unimpressive artwork/game play from beta players.(they pretty much redid the art style from kool wc cartoon to Korean MMO- which blows my mind cause wc is the BEST MMO....) Still intended to play it and love it. Game day release: campaign has issues, match making has issues, multiplayer settings don't work, has    Cash grab.

    Warcraft 3 but worse , i would at least give it a pass if it looked good but it clearly doesnt , some of the textures look worse than the original ones from almost 20 years ago. This game is in my opinion an insult to the Warcraft fans.

Forcing the resolution super low where its like a mini screen on my monitor is a terrible thing! Many textures are still the original ones! Its so sad!! Blizzard was once the best company,Blizzard has lied yet again. Tried it for less then an hour. This game is NOT the same game they showed us in 2018!!! There is nearly nothing new in the World Editor currently. Let's not forget the fact that they forced old War3 players to play this version (old wc3 doesn't exist anymore).     The fact that you can't even play the old version on their own platform anymore is absurd, now they force you to download 30 Gb of bloat and play a worse-looking version of the original since they **** that up too. Don't give them money for this **** how things are going, Blizzard is going down soon, which is probably for the best this nu-Blizzard is a **** soulless corporation, not a single shred of passion.
    By the way, they removed a lot of the old joke voice lines when you click repeatedly on a unit because the year is 2015+5, can't have those anymore, no no, they are problematic. Literally soulless.    … Expand

    The multiplayer works well is about the only positive. For some reason they got rid of the single player skirmishes. Why get rid of feature like that? Campaign was buggy on the first mission. UI doesn't work well and bugs out on the main screen. This is a remastering of a long standing game! how can they mess it up so much? Considering the fantastic job that Microsoft did with Age of Empires 2 I thought they may have emulated what they did. Instead they gave it a somewhat lackluster graphics upgrade and then removed useful features didn't add anything new and broke what was already working. А что я получил в итоге? В течение пары часов прохождения кампании за альянс меня не покидало чувство, что меня где-то, мягко говоря,Что я ждал от Reforged после анонса на близзконе? Пожалуй - тот же warcraft 3, который горячо люблю, но с дополненным лором, улучшенной графикой, новыми CGI роликами, катсценами, которые были в тизере, в конце концов и, конечно же, хорошим мачмейкингом. А что я получил в итоге? В течение пары часов прохождения кампании за альянс меня не покидало чувство, что меня где-то, мягко говоря, опрокинули, но я ждал, что вот-вот появится что-нибудь эдакое, что резко изменит мое мнение, но нет - это все тот же WC3, только в симпатичной обёртке. Все осталось так же, как и было - вплоть до диалогов, озвученных, к сожалению, тошнотными актёрами, банально зачитывающими свой текст. Даже анимация смерти Кел'Тузада - простая анимация смерти некроманта с замедленной анимацией. В 2к20, Вы серьёзно? 2 года разработки, перенос релиза, что бы выдать заезженный до дыр WC3 с мыльными текстурами новой графики?
    CGI-ролики - отдельная тема. Все, что было сделано - подтянули подо все разрешения мувики 2002 года. За 2 года, Карл! ( а обещали все переснять)
    Матчмейкинг - это что-то невероятное. из 3х игр - 2 краша. Просто и со вкусом. Я бы мог понять, если бы это была инди-разработка (хотя, судя по всему, так и есть), но нет же! на это чудо за 1300/2600₽ ушло 2 года разработки не самой безызвестной компании. И на выходе нам подсунули вот это, клееное за 1 месяц, на коленке, чудо.
    У меня нет слов, что бы полностью описать степень моего разочарования, пожалуй, как и у многих.
    А, и еще один плевок в сторону людей, оформивших предзаказ Spoils of War - сейчас он стоит на 50% дешевле.    … Expand

    Once again they lied to us. This feels just like BioWare with Anthem. They gave us a great looking 'teaser' then come to find out later on this wasn't actually game play it was just a lie to get us excited to pre-order it. I waited for over a year for this game and I am so pissed off that this is what they gave us.

This is the company, many years ago, that gave us the original Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, Diablo II and Starcraft, yet it is almost unrecognizable as the “For Games, By Gamers” brand we grew to respect and support. I genuinely feel for the developers on the Blizzard teams that are forced to pick up the slack of their co-workers who were fired without reason and work under the unrealistic, corporate inspired, and truly profit driven decision making process enforced by the soul crushing, enigmatic Activision Entity.

    I will not give this game 1 point out of 10, as it not only released a 1/10 alpha equivalent of the game, but it also destroyed the old playable version of the 2003 release. Activision-Blizzard, you are a joke - although that may be saying too much, because at least jokes have meaning.    … Expand

    По-моему у игры есть шанс. Кто бы что не говорил оптимизация не плохая ( потому что запустилась на моём ведре). Я очень надеюсь что все баги Близзард смогут исправить. Удачи им.

    I dont see the improved visual features a blessing or a curse, it is in the new terms of service and regulations this game has gone wrong. With a unexpected kill on the original Frozen throne client, that has been there since the day it came out. Warcraft III Reforged is really just a warcraft III re-regulated, every custom game is owned by blizzard.     Only problems I face is that I unable to start custom campaigns and cut scenes are missing. And some custom maps won't even proceed to lobby.

    I have stable 200 FPS, no blurred image and problems with shadows. Dunno, maybe I'm lucky or whatever.     Warcraft 3 used to be a great game. But now... like all of Activision Blizzard products it is just a masterful piece of marketing work with zero art or gaming value. This game was developed by outsource company. There are a lot of bugs and bad optimization. Many promises that AB made about W3 reforged (like enhanced campaign and new interface) were lies.

    Complete bait and switch, the quality is even lower than what was shown at Blizzcon 2 years ago. Buggier than the original, models are so mismatched some look grim and other cartoony.

    It's clear this was outsourced and that Blizz gives absolutely no **** about quality since they merged with activision.

    As a long time WC3 player and map maker, their art direction and choices to bastardize the original integrity of the game to make it match up to the fantasy of WoW players and non-RTS players who will likely quit playing in the first few months, if not sooner with how terrible this game has launched at with game breaking bugs is a disgrace and a slap in the face to die-hard Warcraft III players in the melee & custom games scene. The only thing I have to cling on to is hope that in future patches things will get better, but the route they are taking is clear that they do not care about their players, they only care about money.    … Expand

    The models don't even look good. Animations stutters almost look like they are locked to 30 frame per second. Character model and the map don't match in art style. Some map looks like its copy paste from wc3 with near to no effort to rework. It almost feel like I am playing some cheap chinese knock off game.
    Nothing new is added. Where are the promised cinematic?! Where are the promised new voice over?

    Was really looking forward to this remake. I really liked how it looked as demo at BlizzCon 2018, it felt like nice remake of a beloved game. Now on release it looks like everything that were changed are models and textures of characters. Not sure why they released it at all if it feels more like original than a remake. Very cheap move from Blizzard.

For a release in 2020 to look worse than anything that came out the previous decade of any significance is staggering from a once great company. It still plays like its early 2000's release brethren which was groundbreaking for the time but very dated today. Where is the worker automation? Additional stats and UII didn't even get any crashes and I was still sorely disappointed.     This poor excuse for a remake made it literally impossible to play the old version of the game. Clans, custom campaigns, all other features from the classic game were essentially deleted in favor of a poorly optimized and falsely marketed sham of a game.

    Warcraft 3 deserved better.

A lot of ambition-almost nothing has been done. Now everything you do in the editor, completely owned by Blizzard. They can delete your work, take it back, or forbid you to continue. This "Game" is worse than the original. It's not worth the money. They didn't care about anything except making a profit. And it shames the game of my childhood and one of my favorite games.… Expand

    Орк подкастер просто бездарность. Зачем его позвали на озвучку? так монотонно и бездарно любой читать может.
    Что касается игры, я являюсь поклонником первого и второго Варкрафтов, но 3ий мне не нравился и тогда и сейчас. Просто не лежит к нему душа. А вот во второй с удовольствием бы поиграл.

    I sometimes play warcraft 3 before they close servers to do THIS. And now old battle.net is dead... 2002 yerar interfaceergonomygraphic was better. New interface is amazing! Chat over lobby, all channels in one window including lobby chat. You need scroll down window to check map info... You cant fast change your lobby slot. No clans, old account friend list disappeared.     Now bugs, you cant join some lobby, you need delete old map to redownload them for join lobby, some maps instantly end on start, some got many graphic bugs, company dont work, some lobby just crash, and this joking ***** when you cant join game and they write *you cant join this lobby, maybe you entered wrong game name* THERE IS NO LINE TO ENTER GAME NAME. And many many many more bugs

    It really hurts my heart to see this game falling sooo hard....
    where do i start:
    1.the size of the game is over 400% the size of the 2003 version, though the graphic changes are minimal and the game itself is a buggy mess.... 2. no cutscenes- the cutscene from the stratholme trailer was a bait. it is NOT IN THE ACTUAL GAME. Ребят, а их и не должно быть, вы сами после презентации в 18 году взвыли, что вам не нужны новые катсцены, что вам нужна старая игра с новыми текстурками (а некоторые просили и новую озвучку), хороший мультиплеер и кастомки.     Потом вы похоронили её второй раз, когда киберспортсмены начали возникать, что с новым графоном конечно красиво, но играть в ладдер как-то сложно, т.к. всё сливается, туман мешает и т.д. И вы согласились ведь "Это же кибеспортсмены", хотя рядовому игроку пофигу на подобные вещи.
    То есть объективно коммюнити само похоронило игру.
    Да близы накосячили, оптимизация местами хромает (хотя на моем конфиге I5 4570, GTX 770 (4гб), 16гб DDR3 (частота 1866) 60 кадров стабильно).
    Есть баги, но такой уж геймдев нынче, игр у которых нет патча первого дня можно по пальцам пересчитать.
    Итого я снял 2 балла за баги и оптимизацию, остальное уж простите мы выбрали сами (хотя лично я (олдфаг) вполне бы не отказался от новых катсцен и глобальных изменений).    … Expand

    Просто нет возможности перечислять, что плохо. Все плохо! Озвучка, просто метвые актеры с сериалов про ментов, нелепая и тормозящая графика. Все сырое. Это отстой!

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
