    Просто никудышная "перековка", просто очень плохой ремастер... Лишь новые модели и анимации. Отсутствуют обещанные новые катсцены (даже сейчас в описании значится "4 часа нового внутриигрового видео, но по факту - этого нет), отсутствует адаптация к актуальному лору, миру World of Warcraft, а обещали и сюжет, и диалоги, и карты "перековать", адаптировать, расширить, видоизменить... Но...Просто никудышная "перековка", просто очень плохой ремастер... Лишь новые модели и анимации. Отсутствуют обещанные новые катсцены (даже сейчас в описании значится "4 часа нового внутриигрового видео, но по факту - этого нет), отсутствует адаптация к актуальному лору, миру World of Warcraft, а обещали и сюжет, и диалоги, и карты "перековать", адаптировать, расширить, видоизменить... Но... Пошли по наиболее простому пути...

    Причём ладно если бы задуманное работало как надо, выглядело на "релиз", так и тут море багов, глюков, несуразностей - fps скачет, звук и музыка попадаеют (не по вине нажатия на хоткеи выключения звука), а из-за багов.

    Даже старые катсцены местами показывают то, что не нужно (просто не адаптированы под 16:9 и в кадр лезет то, что не планировалось во время разработки под 4:3) - и это "4 чааэса нового видео (катсцен)", ага....

    На самом деле сказать ещё можно много, но лень (так же как Близки, делать качественный рефордж) - блогеры, ютуберы, пользователи на форуме Близзард и т.д. всё расписали, почему это тотальный провал... Ну, а я что могу поставить... Я ждал Reforged, а по итогу... Меня, как ждуна, сочли за пустое место, забили на обещания и всё такое. Ну и я в ответ лишь 0/10 могу поставить.

    Оформил возврат, но, возможно, не вернут, мол много наиграл (хотя лишь пролог прошёл и начал сюжет Альянса, где большая часть проблем и начала вылезать). Посмотрю на адекватность тех. поддержки и Близзард вообще. Нет, ну а смысл мне сидеть с сырейшей игрой за 1299 руб. которая на релиз не тянет? И это я ещё в сетевую не заходил, а там тоже море "позитива" у людей... Я лучше через полгода-год, да со скидкой возьму исправленный продукт (или торрент эдишена заслуживает такое?) - такой каким должна быть игра на релизе изначально, а не этот кусок "раннего доступа". Хотя вряд ли даже через год появятся нормальные катсцены, адаптация Лора и т.д., но хоть техническую часть, возможно, исправят...    … Expand

    No UI changes, bugs, glitches, disconnects. All that was promised by the teasers was just a nice Illusion.

    I can’t say anything positive about the game, the developers of which force us to upgrade to "reforged" by downloading 25GB for this and don’t give the right to choose whether we want it or not.
    Not only that, I lost all the save, I was not warned, a complete disregard for the audience.

    The models themselves look "plus, minus exactly." But, when we consider them in the context of the game, gameplay and what was - it is wretched.

    In fact, what did the Lizards do:

    1) Updated models on 3 with a plus.

Even EA and Ubisoft haven't done a bait & switch at such a high level as Blizzard has done with Reforged. Just watch the countless interviews from Blizzcon 2018 or watch the culling trailer and unless you're blind, you'll see how they blatantly scrapped 90% of Reforgeds promisedAll the instabilities of this game put aside, the game is as close to a scam as a game could possibly be.     Some of the scrapped features are:
    - Remade cutscenes in the style of the culling as it was showcased during Blizzcon.
    - New voice actors.
    - New story elements to connect Warcraft 3s story directly to WoW.
    - Changed campaign maps (Only ~3 were changed in the end)
    - New UI (As showcased during Blizzcon)
    - The world editor is largely the same and still adheres to a 2002 engines limitation such as Map dimensions, texture limit, unit limit etc.

    And this is not the worst of it, in addition to all of the above-mentioned, they killed the original Warcraft 3 and forced users who own that game to use the Reforged launcher which lacks many features such as custom campaigns, local play, offline play and all the battle.net 1.0 features.
    So not only did they make a bad game, they also made a good game bad. Congratulations. If I could give this a negative score, I would without a doubt.    … Expand

    Paying 30$ for the same game and only difference it has is that this version comes with DRM and has better (worse) character models with different art style that doesn't fit or have any connections with the original game which makes it worse, and another differences are the downgraded campaign selection backgrounds, UI in the game looks uglier than in original WC3, bugs. На данный момент игра лагает, крашится, ладдер вообще не работает, половина кастомок дисконнектиться, вторая половина крашится. Вообщем, это полный провал,бобби.Эта игра была совершенно не готова к релизу, абсолютно.     Warcraft III: Reforged didn't receive the love it deserved.
    One year of silence after the announce in 2018 and no communication with the player base.
    Not only the game is unpolished and ridden with bugs, it also lacks many of the original multiplayer features that always distinguished WC3.
    It's an utterly disappointment.

    I finished Prologue and half of the Alliance campaign, with no crashes or errors. The original main menu was better as for me, and loading screens are not localized in languages other than English, wich looks ugly. The main menu works slow now, but I believe it will be fixed soon. Ingame graphics is great, unit models, animations... That is just what I wanted - modern look but with feeling of old Warcraft.
    I play the game in other language than English and the Russian voices in original were better and more colourful. But in general the new voices are acceptable.

    What I would whant to be added?
    The new interface, the new cinematics, translated loading screens, more old-style and optimized main menu. In this case it would be 10/10, but now I would give only 8/10.

    If you're a Warcraft 3 fan, you may certainly buy this game to delve into your beloved gameplay and story without a need to see angular units. It's a good revision of a great game. I'm glad to see it on my PC and I'll definetly play hundreds of hours in this great game again. Though I'd like to see Blizzard to introduce at least a new UI and a new main menu.

    Я прошел Пролог и половину кампании Альянса, пока не встретил никаких ошибок и вылетов. Главное меню в оригинале мне нравилось больше, надписи на загрузочных экранах в кампании не переведены, что выглядит странно и уродливо. Главное меню тормозит. Но это, я уверен, скоро исправят.

    Графика в самой игре великолепна. Новые модели и анимации - супер. Это именно то, чего я хотел - современный внешний вид, не убивающий ощущения старого варкрафта. Новая озвучка мне нравится меньше старой, но терпимо.

    Что хотел бы добавить?
    Новый интерфейс, новые ролики, переведенные карты на загрузочных экранах кампаний, более оптимизированное и симпатичное главное меню. Тогда было бы 10/10, сейчас только 8/10.

    Если вы любите Warcraft 3, смело покупайте игру. Просто не ждите от нее чудес, это ведь переиздание великой игры, а не новая игра. Вы сможете снова погрузиться в любимый геймплей и сюжет, не глядя на треугольных персонажей. Уверен, что проведу сотни часов в этой версии, в сюжете и в сети. Но все же хотел бы, чтобы внедрили хотя бы новое меню и новый интерфейс, они бы не помешали.    … Expand

    I was playing War3 TFT on Battle.net perfectly fine a few days ago.
    Now Blizzard has dumped 30 GB of stuff onto my hard drive without asking me and put it behind a paywall.
    Classic Client was killed for no reason and replaced with a feature incomplete version.
    I wanted nothing to do with Reforged and it was forced upon me.
    I never asked this.

    Я надеюсь что в скором времени баги поправят(не прошло и недели может что нибудь да изменится). Игра сыровата, но в любом случае мне важен сюжет, а не мультиплеер

    Juego lleno de Bugs y fallos enormes. En jugabilidad es parecido al Warcraft pero sin su esencia.
    Blizzard Activision solo ha hecho un par de mejoras gráficas pero no ha cumplido con las mejoras que prometieron. En general es un juego roto, sin cambios en jugabilidad respecto al Warcraft 3 y más mediocre. Un juego desaprovechado y sin carisma hecho sólo para sacar el dinero a los más incautos.

To be fair it gets some right in the graphical department and some models are def better then wc3 classic and rebirth. But alot is worse then even classical, let alone rebirth.

    Now I know of the false advertising practices and the outsourcing of the graphics.    Warcraft 3 rebirth graphics mod, does most better with the art/colour and more personality then some flat HD colorless models. To be fair it gets some right in the graphical department and some models are def better then wc3 classic and rebirth. But alot is worse then even classical, let alone rebirth.

    Now I know of the false advertising practices and the outsourcing of the graphics. Not to mention if I want to play warcraft 3 classic i have to download 28 GB instead of my old 2 GB..
    Then we haven't even talked about the bugs, battle.net and performance...
    There is no excuse for this. And I will not ever buy a blizzard game again. Unless they openly admit to this situation and promise to re-reforge this situation.    … Expand

    -bad and confusing UI -no ladder, etc. (lots of features of TFT actually are missing) -no custom campaigns And that's just the things that are worse than before.     Well, i can’t describe my disappointment. This remaster feels inferior to even classic game! Textures feel bad, cinematics are cut! Compare it to recent Resident evil remaster... its like heaven and earth..
    Sad, sad indeed. Soulless product. And i am a Blizz fan..

    This game was false advertised. The cut scenes were not reforged as shown in trailer. Blizzard is continuosly showing that they are money hungry whores.

    Is it a bad game? No. It's still one of the best games of all time - and even Reforged cannot change this. But the remaster itself ist just a huge disgrace. Blizzard should be ashamed. And it makes me want to ask for a refund - but since I'm one of those idiots who pre-ordered I'm kind of screwed. Like this game is screwed.

    Oh lord. Just don't buy this game. And if you bought it - get a refund.

    Я не понимаю, почему все так ополчились на новый варкрафт. Да, там не самая лучшая оптимизация. Да,там есть баги... Но по сравнению с бета-версией всё ЗНАЧИТЕЛЬНО лучше, чем месяц назад. Всё, что мы хотели от игры тут есть - поддержка старых кастомных карт, улучшенный редактор карт, улучшенное подключение к игре и та самая атмосфера игры тут есть!     The campaign has not been changed. A bunch of bugs. Reset the old servers,
    and forced to go to reforged. Some custom ones do not work
    in a regular company, you can fly out with a defeat at 0:00 second
    and even if you don’t even look at the models...

    Release day comes out of the blue (I hadn't followed Reforge's development as it was off my radar entirely) the week I (and a mate) planned to revisit this game again and the day before I chose to install it again, I was miffed out at the ridiculous bloat (26gb) for such an old game but whatever, fine, finish the download and launch the game to see this stuttery opening cinematic, okay this ain't right, click start a new campaign to see what else has been changed which was followed by another stuttery mess of a cinematic, which I skipped and was now in-game. The game now completely freezes every 20 seconds or so and my units teleport when the +-1 second freeze subsides (my PC is capable of running the latest games at 2k resolution perfectly for reference so it's not a hardware issue, why I felt it necessary to disclose this for an ancient game, I'm not really sure). Reading through other posts, I see that plenty of other forced changes have made their way into this game which I STRONGLY disagree with.

    My luck that this update drops the week an old mate of mine and I were planning on revisiting WC 3, as we were going through old RTS games we played together back in the day. I'm giving this a 0 because I never asked for this, I didn't expect this to merge with the original game I paid for almost 20 years ago, rendering my legal copy I've had since I were a kid (Nearly 30 now) completely useless to me. I've seen a lot of bull in this industry but this is one of the most unethical/painful things I've witnessed from it yet, so I created this account to express my discontent with Blizzard and Activision, the former being one of my childhood heroes.

    3. There are other problems with the game like bugs, no new cinematics, etc, but these aren't as bad as the first two.

    The biggest offender of all is that they went back on their word and did not remaster the campaign as they originally intended to be more in canon with the lore. This would have been a better mix along side the new graphics as they could simple explain that this is a retelling of the story.

    Cinematics are the same from 2002 which were just rerendered into HD. The ingame cutscenes feel worse not because of visuals (that's subjective) but because of the camera always going around trying to act dynamic.

    Lastly the performance, jesus christ all mighty where did we go wrong? Terrible bugs and performance issues, Unresponsive UI. Also you no longer go play the actual old game, it was secretly merged with the new one and all the problems of Reforged merged into one, While you do have the option to toggle new and old graphics the actual old graphics are a huge downgrade as they lack contrast and shadows.

    I had hopes for the game, i had expectations to a degree but eh all futile actually Blizzard at this point are garbage company and developers. IT seems that they lost all skill to make any actual good games or products.    … Expand

    Why should we pay a price of AAA game only for a raw texture mod? It is not REFORGING. This is sloppy work! Where is promised changes? There are a lot of bugs, shoddy cinematic and cut-scenes, terrible optimization, downgrade of graphics and engine features compared to those presented at the announcement... There is no good job to be found in the game.

    So, Don’t waste your money!

    - Отсутствие нормального освещения портретов персонажей.
    - Отсутствие нового дизайна UI (например как на E3 2018, считаю что он был намного лучше "старого-нового", который нынешний).
    По итогу, (если вы действительно фанат и следили за происходящим в течении года и ждали выхода Reforged) можно сказать, что нас кхм... обманули мягко говоря. (Я много не упомянул (вранья и косяков со стороны близзов), но если вы в теме, то знаете.) Да, именно обманули. У близзов как многие говорят, уже давно всё что могло атрофировалось в плане творческой жилки.     This game - without even buying it - forces you to downgrade your working version of Warcraft 3 TFT leaving old players without a proper place to play. Most of the community functionalities of Classic are missing from Reforged, and the engine is also in a worse shape making playing some maps confusing, and unplayable (i/e missing shadows prevents you from determining unit height in the air).

With reforged they decided to push the update to all classic wc3 RoC and TfT games to brick them until people bought reforged (something Blizzard promised not to do, I assume to prevent people from comparing the two and seeing how inept the remastering is).

    Onto Reforged. The interface is abysmal. There are bugs everywhere. You crash constantly. The campaign textures look like they were watered down, and while some things are more detailed, the color is washed out and darkened, making it actually look worse than Classic. Blizzard has decided to remove all custom games containing a "copyrighted title", therefore the large majority of custom games are getting bricked. Custom Map creators no longer own their maps, nor can they profit from them like they could in the past, as "Blizzard retains all rights to, and owns all custom maps created for reforged". The online functionality is significantly worse due to all channels being shoved together into general ones. No clans, or easy to view online stats to keep track of specifics in ladder games.

    In general this game is a piss poor attempt at a reforging. With so many bugs, and the absolutely pathetic attempt at optimization, causing even extremely quality gaming computers to lag and crash, I recommend that everyone stays far away from this game for at least a few months. Right now it is not worth the aggravation of trying to play for free let alone having to pay $40. Welcome everyone, to the new EA/Activision of gaming. Blizzard has sunk that low.

    Its pretty telling that almost ALL of the positive reviews are people saying "no problems" which is just objectively false. Or people saying "Terrible launch but the rating is low so 10/10". In reality this game should have a rating below a 1 so that Blizzard can understand this is completely unacceptable to release a game that at best would be considered at the alpha stage of game development.    … Expand

    This is the worst remake I've ever seen. The graphics are worse, the voice acting is worse, and everything else has not changed at all!

    Your satisfaction of this game depends completely on your expectations of it. As it is - it's classic Warcraft 3 with updated graphics. And classic Warcraft 3 is still a damn good RTS.

    Well, I had high hopes for this game and they were destroyed by Blizzard. This failure of a nostalgic moment adds another point for me against buying anything from Blizzard and that they just don't care anymore. Latest products released by Blizzard are a joke (except Legion and Classic WOW IMO). If you still enjoy Blizzard games just play original WC3, D2, Classic WOW.     great epic game, nice remastered edition cool 4k, for me 100% no issues I like w3 is cool like 15 years back, I enjoy this game so much, dont know what others are talking about but for me is exactly what I have expected, good job blizzard

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
