    I've never played the original and I can still feel that is not what was supposed to be. Also, false advertisement is bad and I'm pretty sure the policies on custom creations are illegal in a lot of countries and I hope they'll get sued.

    i Though fallout 76 was bad when it was released. Blizzard: Hold my beer.. Reforged is the biggest pile of crap since fallout 76s release. ON TOP of this. you tarnish the orginal wc3 classic . Hope they never do another remaster with any games..

    Riddled with glitches... Constant crashes and not only did they take away MAJOR features in the last few months before release, the major promises that sold so many on this game... But they also somehow removed features that already existed in the original?!?!!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Here is a "short" list of complaints: 1. Missing ranked games. 2. The clans are gone. 3. The game disappeared over the lana. 4. The offline game in custom has disappeared. 5. Missing teams in the chat. 6. Lost custom campaigns. 7. The new grafon - vyrviglaz. 8. In some places (and too often), the new graphics are worse than the original 18 years ago. 9. New detailed models look monstrous with a cartoony low poly environment. 10. The battle is now much worse read, all pro-gamers unanimously refuse to play with the new grafon. 11. Completely killed custom (new licensing agreement and copyright). 12. Changed the legendary Russian localization to a much more crap, but with the Orc podcast. 13. There is no rework of the rollers promised at the announcement (the juice itself - the promise is still hanging on the purchase page). 14. The only new cc cutscene, Illidan’s fight with Arthas, looks worse than fan artwork. 15. There is no promised plot alteration. 16. You can no longer kill children. Even when in the story you are organizing a massacre of the undead, I must bypass them. 17. Removed the tube 3D backdrops in the menu and replaced it with a crap soulless 2D. 18. Shelter interface on a third of the screen. 19. The classic Warcraft 3 is removed from the store, its owners are now available only reform, but without new graphics. At the same time, you should still download all 30 gigs. 20. Procurement for donation skins in multiplayer. 21. In the original, for some unknown reason, removed some memetic phrases from the characters. For example, "Im wasted" by the dryad. 22.     Nothing but broken promises. Less features than the original, environments look terrible and far less vibrant. Bliz requires you "upgrade" if you just want to play classic online.

They have not only promised what should be s great redemption in terms of reputation but also they have mess with the main IP they jav ve.     I've just created this account to review this game. Yes, you read that right. I am an old-school w3 ladder player. The game is a total mess. Characters are lifeless, the user interface is lame. But man, the unskilled and amateur reutilization of aspects from the old game is just painful to watch. I mean seriously, reusing the same movement mechanics? reusing the pixelated map logos? not toI've just created this account to review this game. Yes, you read that right.     This game is nothing short of an assassination of a blizzard classic and its 18 year old gaming community. Not only is this game complete trash but it also takes everything i loved about the old game and the 17+ years of player created content and destroys it. Blizzard no longer exists in my eyes and is actively destroying their fan base. RIP Warcraft 3, July 3, 2002 - January 28, 2020.

    I was hoping for a good revision of the old Warcraft 3 in old Blizzard quality and was totally disappointed like most.
    Campaign often stopped with the defeat screen, the new 3d models are nice, but look rather bad in the dialog box or in the unit selection.

    At present time i own the old game, but I would in fact have to download this new one with all its half baked ugliness in order to play it. Activision-Blizzard activelly unmade a game.

    You know it's bad when the people who got this upgrade for free wish they hadn't. Somehow Blizzard managed to make a regression in their remaster, and didn't deliver on their promises. Seems like little more than an easy cash-grab. Refunded the game after being unable to play more than 2 levels with out game breaking bugs.

    Laughable effort put into the update. Glitchy. Very few new features. Not only did they take something great and make it worse, they also took away the ability to just play the old game. Absolutely ruined a classic. Waited for this for a long time, couldn't be more disappointed.

    I would look forward to logging onto wc3 occasionally and playing some scenario and custom games this game has been a part of my life since childhood, now I can't even play this game for recreational purposes. I feel you not only gave me a bad reforged, but are currently robbing me of the original game I loved and paid for.

    Cons: - advertised in game scenes were cut for whatever reason - the 4hrs of remastered cinematics are literally just the old ones in 1080p except the illidan fight - multiplayer is botched with no ladder and even makes the original game multiplayer unplayable... It doesn't exist anymore - New terms claim any custom maps and    Pros:

Maybe they could go back to making actual good games that way, till then I hope people see the truth of money grubbing ruining game development and don't buy this game until its fixed!

    I didn't even bough WC3: Reforged, but even without purschase it ruined my WC3 TFT O_o
    I ran WC3, it requested an update. After the update it became necessary to run and update the BattleNet desktop app. When I finally got into the game, it requested to log in in the BattleNet O_o I tryed 10 times, but it cannot connect to the server. What the hell is going on here? O_o One more thing: my    I didn't even bough WC3: Reforged, but even without purschase it ruined my WC3 TFT O_o

Looks like after you hurt my nostalgia for ~75 HP with the WC3: Reforged, I've got second shot for atleast 431 HP when you steal original WC3 from me.    … Expand

    Game fails to launch and I can't even play it. (Specs: i5 8400, 16GB DDR4 Ram, AMD RX580)
    Refund was rejected by Blizzard and no specific reason was given except that I must go report the bugs and that the purchase was final.

    Well this game didn't hold up to standard but at least we all have Starcraft 2 and Broodwar! Starcraft has always been the best blizzard franchise anyways.

    Blizzard has fallen...Long time Blizzard player....I started playing Blizzard games since 1998. The only company i truly trusted and love in the gaming industry. I loved this company so much i even found excuses about some of the "questionable" decisions they had made recently. They are the new EA of gaming...for those of u that don't know about "EA"...Look them up....Its that bad now.Blizzard has fallen...Long time Blizzard player....I started playing Blizzard games since 1998.     Double dipping on a classic. trying to cash in on nostalgia with broken promises and an incredibly low effort remake of a classic. And because of their missteps around DotA you HAVE to sign away all of your rights in perpetuity so they can cash in on anything you make. With no opportunity for a refund save money and just buy the original, it's a better game anyway.

The beta was buggy but tolerable they did not allow us to play the campaign because the advertised cinematic cutscenes were not even implemented, unlike the Blizzcon 2018 version. A plethora of missing/ excluded features. The first day they released the game it was unplayable by means of Frames per second with a very decentPre-ordered the game hoping it would be a smashing success.     THAT BEING SAID, the release of Warcraft 3 Reforged actively ruined my old purchased Warcraft 3 so that I can no longer use it to play locally with my friends on a CD-key i bought almost 15 years ago and I have kept with me ever since. On top of that,    let me preface; I have not played the game as released, I wanted to see how it was on release before i payed money for it. Good plan!

    On top of that, blizzard has once again shown that all they care about is money from pre-orders and that their customers are completely meaningless to them with the update of their terms of use which now completely takes away all rights from the people who have spent years making amazing custom content for their games and who are half the reason the game is still relevant to this day.

    I was lucky to get this item refunded, but they won't refund it to anything except my debit card that is no longer active. Still better than having blizzard have my money for this horrible cash crab. Do not buy this game, it's an insult to the original and the quality that was put into it.

    Blizzard just went and ruind the very first game that i played and grew up with ... Super mega disappointing...
    Now im just going to download from the torrent a classic just to play this

    This is literally the worst remake and i've seen that Ghostbusters mess. Done with Blizzard, you deserve all the bad press you receive.

    This is an abomination. It's also the living proof that Blizzard is just too far gone, and that there will be no coming back from now on. Corporations have taken over and it's just not the Blizzard we knew anymore

    They have successfully ruined a game i grew up loving. There was literally nothing wrong with Warcraft 3 and it was something that was being streamed all these years later. How they did this is beyond me. We have been lied to. DO NOT BUY WARCRAFT 3 REFORGED. I will never support Blizzard/Activision. The passion, love, art, story, and gameplay behind what Blizzard used to represent is dead.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
