    Shouldnt have new bugs and performance issues in a 10 year old game. Also could have at least left the old game on its own infrastructure instead of breaking something that worked fine.

    I don't recommend buying it and if you did don't forget to refund as this degenerated version of warcraft 3 shouldn't be allowed to exist or supported in the first place. You can just hope that future patches make it atleast enjoyable for the remaining 100 players.
    I am searching for a private server to play old TFT again as custom maps are anyway blizzards property now and    Very bad.

    Este juego es una jarta de mentiras. Me atrevo a decir que no han implementado nada de lo que prometieron, lo único que han hecho es es retocarlo todo lo mínimo posible para que no sea posible denunciarles y poco mas. Una pena, creo que lo tenían demasiado fácil y le han fallado a su comunidad. Os recomiendo hacer refund a modo de crítica.

    There are several major features outright removed in Reforged or simply not functioning because it’s in a buggy state including player profiles, ladder system and custom campaigns. The updated EULA also discourages map makers and modders to participate in making content for Reforged. The map textures are horrendous compared to the original game, the models are on par with Raid: Shadowlegends, this does not in any way feel like a homage to legendary classic Warcraft 3. Rather it feels like a slap in the face to Warcraft fans.

    If they didn’t ruin the original version of the game by merging the old client with this bug infested one, many people would not be complaining as much or refunding. I wouldn’t be complaining if they didn’t touch the original WC3 client. The issue is that they took out features from the original, released an unfinished product and downgraded classic WC3. Not even Bethesda was foolhardy enough to tamper with the original Skyrim when they released the special edition.

    This is an unmitigated disaster of a game, the developer "update" shows only the incompetency of the dev team leading this project further into the gutter. Rather than adding back basic features, fixing cutscenes and restoring the original client of WC3 they have doubled down on their justification for this mess of a game. I will no longer be supporting Blizzard games due to this disaster, you've ruined the game I enjoyed for most of my childhood. Reflect on what made the original WC3 a 9.2 user score and 92/100 critic score and how you've ended up as the worst rated game in history.

    En conclusion, c'est un boycott total de actipognon-blizzard, que je vais faire à partir de maintenant.
    PS : Ma nostalgie me poussait à mettre 1 en note, mais c'est cette dernière qui m'a également poussée a dépenser 30€. Je ne vais pas faire la même erreur. La note 0 est plus proche du réel.    … Expand

    Sold Blizzard Activision stock (ticker ATVI) as well as my gaming-related ETFs and asked my family to do the same based on not only their support of the Chinese Communist Party but on this disastrous remake. Blizzard has lost its way and they will only change if they take a financial hit.

    Buggy mess! Maps are changed and no they are not better. Maps lack the features that the old game had, menu is a mess and somehow the resolution is worse in the menu. Cut scenes, custom game , crashes in short disgrace to the old game...!

I have played more than 4000 TFT games and when I saw gameplay footage on YouTube of this game I got myself a refund. Seriously this is the worst cash grab ever.     I have never played Warcraft III before Reforgedr and thought that hey, this is as good of a chance as any to try such a classic. But now all I get is trash, and I won't ever be able to experience the true game people loved so much. I have lost a lifetime opportunity, and the new Blizzard is to blame : (

    My favorite movie ever is Twilight, the saga. I really enjoy watching love stories that also have some action and special effects.     The game doesn't add anything to the story. It is not a refirge more like a texture pack. But coming back on promises, scaling back shadows and forcing people with the original game to upgrade while destroying the creative community is why I have to give a zero. Safe to say this game is blue screen crashing my nostalgia, respect and patience for Warcraft as a franchise and Blizzard as a company. I will play their free to play (without paying for micro transactions) but i doubt I will be purchasing any more from Blizzard. But with it being blizzard, I genuinely had hope that this would be at least everything we saw for the announcements and demos. Nope. This is literally wc3 classic with even worse models(they're just upscaled originals). The game definitely looks sharper... But in a bad way. It reminds. Me of circaVery disappointed with this game. Now I know, I know, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. But with it being blizzard, I genuinely had hope that this would be at least everything we saw for the announcements and demos. Nope. This is literally wc3 classic with even worse models(they're just upscaled originals). The game definitely looks sharper... But in a bad way. It reminds. Me of circa 2010 graphics where machines could run at higher resolutions, but the developers already had the games mostly done and upscaled models. This is exactly like that, but worse.     If you followed the trailers, the press announcements from Blizzcon, the advertisement on its website, be prepared to very disappointed. Also not even for that, good luck trying to run the game smoothly. Plus, with Blizzard trying to not incentivize custom game creation by trying to claim ownership over the communities hard work, I fear the spirit of WC3 won't captured in this game.

    Trying to take advantage of people's nostalgia with a huge cash grab attempt and refusing to refund after Dishonouring their loyalty of sticking with them through the years is unforgivable. Promises were not delivered and game is utterly trash.

    I didn't wait 18 years to get this crap. I received the refund already, and will continue playing with my old copy of Warcraft III (I still have my old physical version so at least they were not able to remove that from my hands).

Comptetive ladder games, fun custom games and a huge modding community - these three things are what kept warcraft 3 alive for 17 years.     The end of match summary is completely butchered and doesn't tell you useful info, the old client is gone, even if you don't own reforged you're forced into replacing it if you ever connect to bnet, custom maps now have a report button so blizzard can ban maps and ban people hosting them and finally, remember that this was delayed before release

    I am genuinely happy for the very, very, very few people that have managed to find something enjoyable about this travesty, but Reforged is a genuine insult to everyone who has ever played a video game- the ABSOLUTE least Activision (not Blizz, as they have proven they don't exist as anything beyond a corporate tag) deserves in return is a slightly mean review.
    I was able to get my refund by promising legal repercussions, so that might work for you as well. If it doesn't, then whenever the inevitable class-action lawsuit pops up, you'll be able to join with visible evidence.    … Expand

It has a lot of bugs(new ones and also the same bugs as the original one!) and the campaign is hard to play, you keep getting thrown out of the game and automatically lose. The battle.net doesn't really work either, many features from the past are not available.     It’s clear that Blizzard’s 2018 layoffs to “non-development roles” has and will continue to have ramifications for years to come. Putting feature development over quality assurance leads to neither features nor quality, and this absolute disaster of a product is both a testament to that fact and a tangible monument to J. Allen Brack’s hubris.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
