    A terrible remake of a classic. I don't know how they can truly call it "reforged" when half the features are removed and the other half are broken. No tournaments, no lobbies, no ladder, no matchmaking, no versus AI, and a broken campaign that auto-defeats you.

    Blizzard ruined my 18 year old game totally. Warcraft 3 classic is now unplayable for me thanks to blizzard and the new reforged update. 0/10 horrible product, forcing classic players to update as well which only brings the problems of the new game to the old one and makes it unplayable.

    As a Warcraft 3 Classic player i feel robbed.
    I was forced to leave the old smooth running game and had to download 30 gb of assets just to continue with an even buggier and laggier game. No shadow option for my classic units and the community features are just missing. Where is my ladder?

    The game lags horribly. I don't think I am the only one to say that I was expecting alot more new content. Instead, the game was released late, it's pretty much the same game. I played the original just prior to release, so I could remind myself what the original was. However, now I'm just bored because it's the same thing over again.

    This game is awful does'nt work. Keeps crashing cut scenes go blank doesnt have all the features that where promissed. Cut scenes presented at blizzard are not the same its BS money grab dont wast your time.

    Would give a 1/10 for the improved visuals but there are even issues in that department as well. Alpha level quality as a full release. Blizzard should know better by now given all the negative feedback they have already received.

I believed in the company so much I bought a ton of stock in the company. Now with this pile, crappy Shadow Lands and the stupid monetization junk ... the future looks like is gonna fall off a cliff.     I didn't even buy the game, but now because of Wc3:refunded I still got a juicy 15gb + download with all the new assets, slow ui and borked game feature, that got automatically added to my original game CursedPepe. Now I need to reinstall and re-patch without my game getting near battle.net. Not even a choice, and that alone in my opinion, is worth my vote.

I bought Warcraft 3 Reforged based on lies that blizzard told me, and when I heard about how bad it was I thought it couldn’t be that bad. It is. The menu screens don’t work, the mission start screens don’t work, I the missions aren’t working like they’re supposed to, The units glide across the ground because they put a cap onA game so bad it actually made me make a meta critic account.     They truly have lost sight on what makes a great game. Which is very clear with this remastering of the classic Warcraft 3 game. Warcraft 3 came with a ladder system, channel lobbies, profiles, chat commands, and party functions. All which, aside from their poor lobby system, is missing in their remastered version of the game. Where are clans, profiles, blizz invitational tourney... Ok, they will add them, in some time... This is 30 USD Beta version of very old game... And what was the very last cherry on top of cake? A bug like that should never make it even into beta testing. Promised cinematics and cutscenes were not included as stated at BlizzCon 2018. What's worse is that on Blizzard's website, they still show the scene that is not included. That should be false advertising.

    Another mistake by Blizzard is the new end-user license agreement on the use of the map and game editor. Anything created using the editor included in Warcraft 3 reforged becomes, 100%, the property of Blizzard. The creator gets no credit, no recognition, and no compensation for their creative works. It all goes to Blizzard. I see that as downright unethical and perhaps even theft. This alienates a large chunk of the Warcraft 3 community. In my opinion, they should have made a first dibs rule in which if someone creates something that is potentially profitable, Blizzard gets first rights to offer the creators royalty or some other compensation for their work. That would maintain a friendly community. Instead they take a club to it like a bumbling ogre and shatter the creative community. Imagine the global uproar if Adobe did this to their software. If you use our software to create or edit anything, you are granting us full unconditional copyrights to those works.

    But what I see as the worst act Blizzard has taken in this disaster is the butchering of the original Warcraft 3. Even if you did not buy Warcraft 3 reforged, your installation of the original Warcraft 3 gets integrated into the modern battle.net. As a result, the original has now inherited many of the bugs from the reforged edition. This made parts of it unplayable. Fortunately for me, I still have my original CDs and keys. I reinstalled the game. Before opening it, I created a Windows firewall rule to prevent Warcraft 3 from communicating outside my home network. Thus preventing it from being reinfected by battle.net.

    So in the end, I'd say this has been a total disaster and PR nightmare for Blizzard. And looking back, this downward spiral began shortly after Activision purchased Blizzard 11 years ago.    … Expand

    With the this Horrendous change of the "End user License" i will no longer make Mods or anything related for Blizzard games.
    and I'm not sure i will keep my creations available due to this greedy action toward modding and creativity.

    i will take my Creativity to Board games instead.

Congratulations Blizzard-Activision, you are now officially supporting pirating of your old software, when the community is clearly demonstrating they would have paid hard-earned money for a true remaster.     I created an account on this website just to leave a 0 for this game. I am a very loyal Blizzard customer and purchased the game in 2018 the day it was announced. The game they have released is nothing like the one they showed at Blizzcon. I won't speculate as to why this is, because many others already have. But the quality on this product is the lowest of any Blizzard game EVER.

They have essentially claimed anything you submit and give up all “moral rights” to it should they decide to take your ideas and the whole mod for their own use. They spout they want to endorse creativity, only to kick the community in the teeth. A big part of this is to believed that it’s from games like Dota and LoL escaping through their fingers. Older Blizzard would’ve hired the guy who had such a great idea like they have for many of the well known creative heads in the company today. A plethora missing features has plagued not only Reforged but the old client as well. To be brief, there are things like clans, ladder, old balancing, and much more. Even for people who wanted to just be with the old game are affected by all of this. Possibly (haven’t tested it myself) there is also no offline play as well.

    You can argue performance issues are fixable and they are, it still doesn’t excuse with the amount of bugs, frame drops, texture issues, and crashes that have riddles everyone’s games big or small. I stopped playing initially after a few hours due to instant random defeat screens and having to play missions over and over.

    The high quality that was promised hasn’t been met. A shallow veil of lawyer speak is what keeps this company from going to court. A lot of the cutscenes were to be redone and retold. New missions and voice acting performances to help bring it into the new World of Warcraft lore. It’s all not present. The one cutscene they did with in game models was so laughably awkward it looked like an intern animator was the only person tasked to create it. JoseBV on Youtube has done so much more to create the Warcraft feel than a triple “AAA” company has with their own property. Many of this by the way still falsely advertised on their store page.

    There are a lot other issues too that could be written. It’s clear to see that Blizzard gave this game a shoe string budget, doing as little as possible when they found out that they actually had to put work in to match the initial promises given. Over the slew of failings and poor decisions in the past few years, this couldn’t be more obvious of how fallen from grace this company has become then the release of this “reforged” title.    … Expand

    Warcraft 3 reforged not only is a poor recreation of everything that made the original so great, it also comes with the neutering of the original masterpiece that was Warcraft 3. This is a poor attempt to cash in on nostalgia and make people rebuy a game many were still playing. Deactivated my battle.net account RIP Blizzard.

    Por ejemplo, que era un "footman"? Un soldadito, con un escudo muy grande, y una pequeña espada, pues se cargaron esa idea.

    Las voces, por lo menos la de español latino, son horrendas, la de Arthas por ejemplo, totalmente falta de la "firmeza" que tenía originalmente. Los acólitos perdieron esa voz característica como de degenerado tenebroso, y también los ogros perdieron esa voz intimidante y los trolls esa voz tan burlona.

    Y eso no es lo peor, por que aun ignorando todo el apartado estético, la parte jugable también cambió para peor.
    Las campañas están mucho mas fáciles, y no es una sensación, directamente falta torres donde antes estaban, o los zigurats por ejemplo, están en su lugar, pero no están upgradeados, por lo que no pueden atacar.

    También cambiaron la física, al momento de colocar ciertos edificios pegados, ahora las unidades pueden pasar por entre medio, que era una mecánica básica al jugar competitivo.
    Por lo que ahora si te enfrentas a un Orco, su blademaster se puede pasear por toda tu base, pasando entre edificios, masacrando a tus peones, eso cambia muchísimo la experiencia de juego y a mi entender la empeora mucho.

    Una decepción muy grande, solo lo puedo comparar a "Nuke Dukem Forever", es un juego que parece salió 10 años tarde.    … Expand

    To me this is no different. A set of suits decided to boost 4th quarter sales for 2019 and shove this out the door clearly not ready for primetime.     They had the chance to make this as awesome as the original was but failed miserably. As a result, I have to give this game a 0.

    -Bugs
    -Missing content
    -False Advertising
    -Refusing refunds

    If they fix these issues I will revisit and rescore it but I don't see Blizz doing this. It's safe to say that I do not recommend this game at any cost..

    This game is unacceptable. Not only did they manage to destroy the entire interface, they decided to actually remove features profiles, non animated profile pictures, clans, lan, single player custom games, voice lines, and custom campaigns. There's probably more that im just missing.

    The entire client design has been a downgrade from the original. The current design could have been made by a student in a high school graphic design class. The chat actually covers up a majority of the screen when open and blends in with the lobby screen for custom games making it hard to passively read. The original commands to mute,whisper,ban, add friends is all different and more challenging.

    Then they forced everyone to use this client regardless if you bought reforged or not.    … Expand

    This game is not worth it at it's current $30 or $40 price tag especially if you have the old version.     There was once a time Blizzard would delay a game sometimes for months to get it right. If Blizzard had delayed this disaster to get it correct then I think the reviews here would be mostly positive. Its even worse that the original Warcraft 3 game also suffered, I was shown priceless diamonds what I got feels like a worthless fake.

    I was expecting a updated cinema experience, a bug game, freedom to customize and play modded games on the new graphics without worrying but all I got was new models the same cinema experience and more problems then I had with the old one.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
