Mar 21, 2017Despite its early flaws, which are minor, this is a mass effect game from start to finish, fans of the series will find a worthwhile game and open minded first timers should enjoy a nice space opera too!
-
Mar 21, 2017Dragon Age Inquisition in space:
-boring
-repetitive
-ugly characters
-bad animations
-fetch quests
-MMO style world
-awkward writing
What the hell happened with BioWare... -

Mar 21, 2017It's really just Mass Effect: Badly. Badly written, badly animated, badly rendered. There is no patching their way out of this. There's no talent left at Bioware capable of doing better than this. Time to let the franchise and the studio die while they can still be remembered fondly.
-
Mar 21, 2017If you were looking for an overhyped flop, you came to the right place. Not quite on the same level as No Mans Sky, but still and avoid-at-all-costs game, at least for right now. Horrible writing and animations and bugs upon bugs upon bugs ruin what could have been a good game. Another Bioware miss.
-
Mar 21, 2017A great game nonetheless. I have always want more explore option in mass effect and this game give me exactly that. Also the combat is great and there is plenty of things to do in game. Can't wait for more
-
Mar 21, 2017Continuation of a downward spiral of BioWare. Worst Mass Effect, bad rpg and terrible game. Maybe they would know how to make a good game if they hired talented developers instead of racist ideologues.
I we want better games, we need to stop buying garbage like this. -
Mar 21, 20171. you can jump at free will
2. you can navigate the menus with keyboard
3. you have a bigger and better MAKO (nomad)
4. you can have pink/blue/purple/green hair
10/10 -

Mar 21, 2017A heart breaking dumpster fire of a game. Maybe if it had a different name I'd be able to get some joy out of the combat and overlook the total lack of a quality RPG experience, but being that this is supposed to take place in the same Universe of my favorite RPG of all time I think a 2 might actually be a bit generous.

Mar 21, 2017Bioware does an amazing job at making a lifeless game with depth and visuals straight out of 2003 Unsurprisingly pushed into hands of the feeble minded masses by boss EA. My time with Bioware has now ended.

Mar 21, 2017I'm fan boy of original Mass Effect trilogy., not some random hater.
I have no words, it's just horrible in all possible way compare too original mass effect series. -

Mar 21, 2017A developer with such an attitude towards buyers is not applicable. Joke animations, joke voice acting, joke story. The game should have been labeled as an indie game with the appropriate price tag. Instead of delaying the game to port to another frostbite engine, they had decided to release it with awfully load of bugs on the 21st of March.

Mar 21, 2017This is not Mass Effect i knew. Doesn't even look like AAA project. Fan-fic writing, awkward dialogues, lame jokes, outdated graphics and animations, casual combat, boring side-quests. There are better games to buy. Shame.
-
Mar 21, 2017This game like 9 season "scrubs", should not have existed.
Quests, characters, animations, story - so f%ng bad, especially for Bioware.
Mass Effect: Inquisition. Nuff said. -
Mar 21, 2017So far a good but not great game. It feels more like Mass Effect 1 than Dragon Age Inquisition which is a good thing as far as I am concerned. Story is interesting, combat is excellent, companions are so far a bit flat but so was Garrus in ME1.
The graphics are amazing, with particularly the space sequences being beautiful. Animations are poor in dialogue. -

Mar 21, 2017Such a dissapointing game :/ Alot crucial for a fan of the series flaws, its really like inqusition in space. But with more time requirement and worse quality.

Mar 21, 2017Complete Mess.
This "game" is rushed cash-grab made by completely different people than ME trilogy. Aside from obvious technical flaws and bugs it also panders to SJW community which already ruined enough things in this world. -

Mar 21, 2017This isn't even a RPG anymore its a shooter game now, Bioware has chased the CoD market. To also mention that game has lame writing, bad animations & poor AI.
MP uses P2P instead of dedicated servers. -
Mar 21, 2017This game just isn't sucking me in, horrible story, horrible dialog, buggy ai.
I'm done w/ Bioware ME 3 fool me once, DA I shame on me, ME A shame on you. -
Mar 21, 2017
-
Mar 21, 2017Abysmally written story, one Bioware dev said it would have meaningful choices like in Witcher 3. Sadly that is not the case full of fetch quests like Dragon Age Inquisition and emotionless characters. Dialog is horrible.
Shame on Bioware, last game from them I'll ever buy.
Pretty sad when CDPR set a industry standard for RPGS! -
Mar 21, 20172017's biggest AAA release, lacking in content and full of bugs. Sometimes jumping on edges makes you or companions freeze, ai has poor navigation sometimes, story has no emotions.
-

-
Mar 21, 2017Lackluster game.
Can't get into story poorly written.
Stunning view of worlds and fun combat though, fun to drive around and MP is like ME3.
Hope to see dlc that add better written characters and animations fixed in a patch,
Animations need improvement. -
Mar 21, 2017I love this game, its capture you from the very beginning, huge deep story, great cinematic graphics, intense combat, great voice actors, explorations very immersive, thanks bioware and don't listen to random users who may or may not even bought the game to have rights to judge it.

Mar 21, 2017Who let this game pass quality control? This game is worse than ME1, game is big and looks ok though the rest of the game is so bad. AI is poor like others said, companions freeze sometimes.
-
Mar 21, 2017Game is buggy
AI sometimes goes in a T pose in combat.
Bad animations
Bad dialog
Bad writing
Bad dialog wheel
MP uses p2p instead of dedicated servers. -

Mar 21, 2017Excellent game.
Graphics are on point.
Combat is spectacular.
Immersion is everywhere
Exploration is fun (and optional)
Characters are interesting and engaging.
Romance content is as fun as ever
Multiplayer is really well done (Same as ME3 + Verticality)
Recommended. -

Mar 21, 2017Mass Effect: Andromeda is an expansive action role-playing game with some great moments that recaptures the highs of the original trilogy that came before it. Filled with energetic combat and fantastic sound effects contributed the thousands of talented voice actors. But suffers due to facial animation issues.

Mar 21, 2017Resume:
Better than ME1 and ME3. Worst than ME2.
Not a single glitch found, amazing atmosphere, sound, climate. Each planet is unique! Nice graphics, more paced combat (which is very nice and fluid). Amazing cover system, really usefull.
Also, unique game in current gen. There is nothing like it on market. -

Mar 21, 2017Absolute garbage and waste of my money, very bad game. Full of glitches and bugs, boring gameplay and terrible story and animations. Poorly optimized, everything about this game is an epic failure, how could this have happened?

Mar 21, 2017I don't understand how people are giving this a 10 on here and posting that it has lag and animation problems in the same review. What does 10 mean to you?
Bad animations
Bad character models
Bad scaling
Weak dialog
Terrible voice acting
Decent combat
Boring scan ability that pads game time -

-Good story
-Good difficulty
-Good Sidequest
-Good open world planet
-Good Team

Mar 21, 2017Very nice game, nice plot and chars. I like it, but it has many lags.
Pluses:
-Fight system
-Plot
Minuses:
-Animation
-Lags
-Some boring quests
But it`s very cool -
Mar 21, 2017A total disaster. Poorly optimization, plenty of bugs. A bland story without soul, stupid characters, technical flaws in the animations that destroy emotional involvement with them and changes in combat that make them simpler than the previous ones. A turd covered with silk. A loss of money and time.
-
Mar 21, 2017Animation twentieth years ago. What the hell? It's impossible to play. You laugh all the time. This is a disrespect for the players. It's just absurd.
-
Mar 21, 2017The AI is a mess. If the AI is bad in the first 10 hours, it's going to be bad throughout the game. There's no reason why it would suddenly magically improve later.
-
Mar 21, 2017
-
Mar 21, 2017Poorly optimized PC port. The gameplay is the only redeeming quality of Mass Effect Andromeda, but even that is locked at 30 fps. You'd think this game was developed by an indie studio on a small budget.
-
Mar 21, 2017So many bugs! Crashes and graphical glitches. Weird animation and cameras which get stuck in dialogue scenes and won't follow the character, NPCs and companions who freeze and don't respond, and worst of all, save game corruptions. This game is not release ready.
-
Mar 21, 2017They really expect that people should buy this mess at full price when it's so unfinished. And don't even get me started on the looks part.
A decade from now people will still remember Commander Shepard but who will really remember Mcgeneric and his/hers ugly animations. -
Mar 21, 2017Playing just over 20 hours, we can say that playable, the game is not as good as the previous parts, but playable.
At its 8 (with a stretch of course), she deserved, but only with the stretch set as a fan of the series. -

Mar 21, 2017I'm having a ton of fun so far and really that's all I can ask for. I'm going with a 9/10 because there are some issues with the game but I think it'll all be patched quickly.
-
Mar 21, 2017Terrible writing, terrible story, terrible animations, terrible characters, terrible voice acting and bland, boring combat.
I'd love to mention a positive about the game, but there really isn't one. Don't get this game. -

Mar 21, 2017This game should be considered as a new and hotel game in the universe of Mass Effect. If you expected the same epic from this game as from the trilogy, then everything is tolerable here. The game gives respect to ME1, it is very noticeable. As the beginning of a new trilogy, it's not bad, but do not expect too much from the game to not be disappointed.

Mar 21, 2017Extremely fun. Lots to explore. Sexy alien babes. Great gameplay. Hindered by wonky animations, lipsyncing, and occasional graphical issues. Overall solid as hell.

Jun 5, 2017Postcard-pretty landscapes is pretty much all that there is good about Andromeda. They serve as backdrops for a boring, cliche-ridden, somewhat demented story with forgettable characters and even more forgettable missions.
-
May 11, 2017Enough of the classic Mass Effect, with enough new mechanics to keep the game fresh. [Hollingworth; Issue#261, p.55]
-
Edge MagazineApr 27, 2017An earnest attempt has been made to create a new identity for a series here, but the question of how to best frame Mass Effect's narrative strengths is, once again, left open. [June 2017, p.90]
