Mar 22, 2017Just wanted to offset the idiots who give 0, because this game isn't 0 but is neither 0.
I recommend it anyway. It's a fun game and that is what matters to me. -
Mar 22, 2017Since Metacritic found it suitable to delete my previous review I'll write another one. This is in no way shape or form like any of the other Mass Effect games. It's only Mass Effect in name only. Absolutely ruined a great franchise and made it into a buggy, horrible acting, 2005 style graphical piece of crap.
-
Mar 22, 2017After Inquisition the next disaster from Bioware.
The key element of the Mass Effect series is linear gameplay with focus on story, companions, engaging quests and cinematics and NOT on exploration and open worlds! -

Mar 22, 2017This is not Mass Effect, this is crap! I got stuck in a wall, TWICE, and so does the NPC. The control is horrible, and there is no story.
Trying to refund my ps4 copy now! -

Mar 22, 2017Ugh.. If you can get past the first 2 hours running around.. lost.. boring... then this game is for you. O wait then you get on a ship and need to talk to every fing thing alive. While running around. I feel like Tom Hanks in Forest Gump.
-
Mar 22, 2017Sad, for 2 years witcher bots grew up a little and **** the internet with new strength, sending reviews without playing, witcher 3 may be good in some moments, but no compare to ME:A, wake up kids.

Mar 22, 2017Gameplay didn't change much from Me3.
Animations are bad.
Character customization lacks polishing.
very repetitive.
Dialogues are clichés.
The mood is more of a basic Action-Comedy movie than an epic game settings.
The world is very empty.
I would have preferred to wait another year to have a good game, than receiving this right now. -

Mar 22, 2017Dragon Age: Inquisition 2.0, now with space travel!
Such bad animations
Really poor dialog
Lots of fetch quests, without meaningful choices & consequences.
AI gets in the way. How did AI get this bad?
Only good thing from the game is the feel of the combat. -

Mar 22, 2017They have a lot of balls to release something like this after the stunt they pulled with ME 3.
Did they progressively delude themselves to think it would be fine regardless of how low the quality of product is? Its as if they were sheltered people that have never played any other decent game to be able to make a comparison and see just how ridiculous everything turned out to be. -
Mar 22, 2017NO! Just no ! Wtf is this "game" one more mmo open world... why ? I love me1-2-3! But this ? I cant say anything good about this **** inquisition was my last bioware product ...
Did you see witcher 3? -
Mar 22, 2017This game has great story, characters, gameplay and some problems with facial animations. Obviously people writing down bad rviews either watched too many viral gifs and pictures and made their minds about this game without playing, or played only prologue. If you are fan of Mass effect or sci-fi games in general, you should buy this game.

Mar 22, 2017It's good. All the criticism people tend to throw at it could also be applied to the original trilogy, especially the first Mass Effect, yet people have forgotten the bad parts of that and look at it through rose colored glasses. Combat has significantly improved.
-
Mar 22, 2017This game is soo bad its not worth even piracy !! This game is not worth piracy! Yes , its that bad! Yes its that bad! Dont waste time and money on this crap.

Mar 22, 2017They made the female look like Anita Sarkeesian, I thought this was a coincidence.
If you thought you were buying a game, you're actually buying social justice lecture, I stopped at hour number 2.
Sorry Shepard; I really tried.... -
Mar 22, 2017Great game! Exploration, story, combat and voice acting are all top notch. If you loved OT, you'll probably love this one. With better polishing and better animations, it would be 10.

Mar 22, 2017It is horrible. No plot, no heroes, no action. Boring and disguisting simulatinuous.
I was ready that it will not be even close to original trilogy but when I've started the game... I don't have proper words to describe my feelings. -

Mar 22, 2017nice combat system, buggy and unpolished, kinda repetitive, dialog wheel not representative of what the character says, soundtrack is average, all and all a typical Bioware game. Nothing Memorable about the characters or story. Haven't try multiplayer yet

Mar 21, 2017joke animations
joke dialogue
joke writing
boring gameplay
decent multiplayer
This is just a bland MMORPG, nothing more. Maybe I have unreasonable expectations on BioWare, I'll remember next time. BioWare is only a second-tier studio now. -

Mar 21, 2017People are overreacting like crazy about ME:A. The game is really good, has some flaws like every game but if you are a fan you will enjoy it. So many unjustified 1 and 0...
-
Mar 21, 2017I waited 5 years for bad animations, ugly characters and boring main story.
Not buy this game, save your money.

Mar 21, 2017Mass Defect. Embarrassment to the saga. I'd have considered this game retrievable if it weren't for the fact that the flaws lay in the fundamental game mechanics, voice dialogue, facial expressions/animations, user interface, lackluster story line... I think you get the idea.

Mar 21, 2017Anything below a 5 is not to be taken seriously in anyway. It sucks to be fighting the same enemies for the first 10 hours but 4 of those 10 hours are story and conversation. Its not a bad game by any stretch these guys deserve better.

Mar 21, 2017I've enjoyed my first 8 hours despite a few things here and there that detracted from the experience.
Many of the user reviewers here have made good points, but giving this game a 0 or a 1 is a bit ridiculous. -
Mar 21, 2017This deserves no Mass Affection.
I keep it short:
ME1, ME2, ME3 are about story, characters, species and relations between the latter two.
ME Andromeda tries to be the same, but it also includes new gameplay layers due to its focus on an outdated openworld concept. The result: It fails at both ME's core elements (see above) and at being a great openworld game.
Sad, but true. -

Mar 21, 2017These 0s and 1s are a travesty to a user score. Yes it has flaws but it has way more pluses. Great gameplay, great exploration, beautiful landscapes, love the change in focus from Alien attacks to exploration for setting up a new civilization. LOVE it!
-
Mar 21, 2017Pretty nice game. though ome technical stuff can be improved.
combat is good, story is nice, characters too.
don't see why this game is getting user ratings of 0. must be disgruntled overhyped individuals -
Mar 21, 2017Not bad, not great. A disappointment but not a 1/10. The animation is poor, The environments are gorgeous. Voice acting is all over the place. The new Mako is awesome.

Mar 21, 2017If you liked previous Mass Effect entries, avoid this piece of trash at all costs!
The history is bad, it lacks on the RPG aspect more than Fallout 4, and hell, the bugs!

Jun 5, 2017Postcard-pretty landscapes is pretty much all that there is good about Andromeda. They serve as backdrops for a boring, cliche-ridden, somewhat demented story with forgettable characters and even more forgettable missions.
-
May 11, 2017Enough of the classic Mass Effect, with enough new mechanics to keep the game fresh. [Hollingworth; Issue#261, p.55]
-
Edge MagazineApr 27, 2017An earnest attempt has been made to create a new identity for a series here, but the question of how to best frame Mass Effect's narrative strengths is, once again, left open. [June 2017, p.90]
