    Been playing this game since it came out on PS3, unfortunately I never linked my accounts never really cared, just had to wait a bit longer for the Duke O'Death. My major issue with this game is it's lack of mod support, they do everything in their power to keep their precious microtransactions, because not being one of the most popular games of all time didn't make them enough.     Garbage game, filled with microtransactions and zero single player DLC content, even after this many years after release. Now they've also went and blocked modding which was the only thing that made the single player campaign playable. The developers and publisher don't care about the people that have spent so much money on their product. They are greedy and don't care about anyone but themselves.

    no dlc for story mod , the yellowish aspect of graphics , online is trash ( not only because there is hacker , no story , but also because it's created only to make taketwo rich ) ;
    AND OF COURSE WE LOST THE WAY TO PLAY SOLO WITH MODS MADE BY THOUSANDS OF GTA FAN WHO WORKED HOURS AND EVEN YEAR ON THEM !

    Modding communities should always be supported. Take 2 and Rockstar have profited so much off of shark cards and from the customer base in general. It's absolutely absurd to hurt the customers by removing modding potential, especially in such a late stage of the games development. Modding communities flourish in this stage and help improve the games longevity.

    A game with a large modding community starts sending Cease and Desists to modders (even of single player mods) many years after release while still happily taking money for in game items/cash/"DLCs" as a protection against poor online security. This review reflects my opinion of any game/dev/publisher that would choose to take that kind of action.

    Take2 has seen fit to disallow modding when GTAV was previously a hospitable environment for mods. I think this behavior is not to be rewarded. This is what new releases are for.

    Everyone and their grandmother have bought this game 3 times (for the full price mostly!!!) I have done that too. I (like many others) have bought the PC version ONLY because of mod support.     It is literally the only reason i have bought this game the third time. So that i can play around.

    Modders have never touched GTA Online with hacking tools, they just made your game fun. I suppose you do not want that....
    They even had some sort of "Mods do not support pirated game-copies" policy, helping you out even more.
    And you now have the audacity to just take that away? Out of the blue and whilst the E3 is all over the news. Good timing Take Two, really nicely thought through. But this won't go unnoticed.
    I sincerely hope that you won't **** over KSP like you did with GTA.

    They killed modding in this game. No reason to get it now. Singleplayer is boring without mods. Multiplayer is a hack-fest. They charge you expensive shark cards. Seriously, $60 for 8 million credits? You can only buy a decent car with it.

    (For anyone who doesn't know, Take-Two sent a cease and desist to OpenIV, the backbone for a lot of other mods, and a mod that existed since GTA3. This might be for a multitude of reason, but in combination with their recent statement that they are "undermonetizing" GTA Online (how?! Everything's virtually impossible to get without paying microtransactions!), the main theory right now is that Take-Two wants to boost GTA Online income by crippling people's SINGLE PLAYER experiences.     Even if the singleplayer holds up the multiplayer is hell in virtual form, microtransaction dominate and you get ban because you internet decides not to work that day. Also TakeTwo want to make mods illegal. Guess from who you ain't getting anymore money.

    As of the time of this writing, TakeTwo has made it ILLEGAL to add mods to the game. This cannot be allowed to stand, and as a result of them doing this my opinion of the game has plummeted. Making modding illegal is Inexcusable.

    First you ban single player mods from access to Multiplayer, then you only ban money drops in multiplayer to boost sales of your own micro-transactions, then this! Mods are needed T2... OpenIV will not go down lightly from the community.

    This game has completely changed the gaming industry and left a huge impact, and is still getting updates and upgrades to it. It provides an amazing storyline, and a huge world to explore. Violence, guns, gangs, death, and crime. High price tag at $60 though, but worth it.     overrated. Definitely fun to play but does not deserve all the hype. The story for single player mode was meh while the multiplayer mode was definitely really fun. Never finished the story due to it being kinda boring.

    For Online, I suggest you download FiveM or GTA Network so that you can play on other servers, than on the main Rockstar servers (for the time-being). You can you FiveM/GTA Network or you can create a private lobby from the 'Online' tab and just do heist/races in that lobby with your friends. Other than that, the base Online game is filled with hackers sadly. For a 3+ year old game, you would think they would invest money into making a anti-cheat instead of making pointless updates.

    Warning; as of March 2017, you can't transfer your Online character from console to PC or PC to console. So, with that being said. You will need to start all over if you planned on merging your PS4/Xbox One character to PC. It's not possible anymore. It's funny how Rockstar can still put GTA V at the $60 price point (not worth it, get it on sale (maybe $30)), but yet they can't support a small but great feature.    … Expand

    Well the graphics and nothing too special at all. The visuals are so stupid the car takes damage like a tank without a scratch. The FPS mode on PC is so gimmic and stupid as hell. The shooting is very bad in both 3rd person and FPS mode.     The only thing that made me like the game is the story and characters that's all and after the campaign there was nothing left to do but boring stuff not worth the time at all. The flying is so bad even San Andreas did a much better job at flying planes.

    You still could have a bit of fun if you like running around and stuff, but GTA IV was way better.    … Expand

    What should have been an exciting multiplayer sandbox is just a micro-transaction NO-FUN-ALLOWED grindfest, where the only reward is a nicer looking apartment or faster version of a vehicle you already own. Rockstar's state of the art peer-to-peer servers are guaranteed to enrich your GTA:O experience with a multi-cultural smörgåsbord of laggy scriptkiddies filling your chat with moonrunes or BR?BR?BR?

    Some of the gamemodes are okay but most are **** and it's extremely boring to play the same **** over and over just to earn a fraction of that new supercar I'd like. There's not much to do in freeroam, since Rockstar doesn't want to let you have any fun without forking over real money or downloading a mod menu. (Note: I've never been banned or had money removed from my character.) The only good thing GTA:O does is the racing; It's actually one of the best casual racing games for PC today.

    Rockstar ruined this game with their desire for endless monetary gains. Don't bother buying anything they release in the future.    … Expand

    Great game storyline was good and long sidequset was really good the thing is rockstars was focusing on the online more than the game outside the online,but online was great had 45days of playing had really fun its so much to do in the game and the updates are great

    Just as a technical marvel, the GTAV iteration of the series has been a real achievement. It was one of the most beautiful games on both the PS3 and Xbox360 (a cross-platform beauty already being rare in those days of differing architectures). Then the PS4/XBone versions were released and I was wowed again. Then came the PC version and... Just wow. That its online component is stillJust as a technical marvel, the GTAV iteration of the series has been a real achievement. It was one of the most beautiful games on both the PS3 and Xbox360 (a cross-platform beauty already being rare in those days of differing architectures). Then the PS4/XBone versions were released and I was wowed again. Then came the PC version and... Just wow. That its online component is still receiving updates, and doesn't actually charge for its new content, is also a rarity these days.

    My only criticism comes from the Social Club software. Now, the idea is quite brilliant: rather than go down the route of a whole seperate store, like Origin, it acts as an intermediary bundled with the game itself (and, presumably, every new game released). Regardless of being sold on Steam or anywhere else. I actually have nothing wrong with this. I can understand a publisher wanting control of its software and to create a kind of "walled garden" to its extra features. I was even sympathetic to Origin, as I would probably go down the route of creating my own store if I had a bunch of IPs and wanted to distribute the games myself. However, bundling it with every copy, Steam or not, means users can access what is quite a unique social experience... They can be given the chance to be sold on the idea without affecting how they access the game, rather than Origin which seemed to receive universal hate.

    My frustration comes from a seemingly constant failure to download the game through Social Club, making me punch myself for not just buying it for twice the price on Steam. Ultimately, it turned out, it WAS downloading... I just almost needed to constantly remind it to download by hitting "retry" (why not just make it automatic?).    … Expand

    The Rockstar servers failed at launch, which was bad. Publishers should have learned by now. But that aside, the game itself is a masterpiece. There's not much more to say.

    This great game of the saga grand theft auto with excellent history, good gameplay, good conduction, good system of coverings, good atmosphere, a world really alive and good realistic sound of the arms for my opinion the second best game of the saga alone surpassed By the masterpiece of the great console play station 2.

    One of the best game I have ever played. The story is great with alot of depth. I love the freedom this game offers. The only downside to this game is not alot of buildings can be entered.

I also love about how easy and interesting the game gets, and then wanting to play more and more as you process through the game. I also like how the game has different ways to play the game and different endings that you can choose on your own

    Что конкретно меня зацепило, я даже не скажу, может быть это шикарная графика и физика: красивая работа со светом, классные эффекты намокания, ПОВЕДЕНИЕ АВТО!!! и прочее-прочее-прочеее. Для такой старой игры -- это просто божественно, она бесспорно отлично выглядит даже сегодня. Затем сюжет,    На мой скромный вкус -- лучшая часть GTA.

Множество занятий -- я долгое время игрался в дартс и боуленг, серфил интернет(будь он еще весь переведен!), смотрел ТВ(аналогично с интернетом) -- это на высшем уровне, упорно не понимаю криков о том, что после сюжетки там делать нечего.

    Минусы: повальное однообразие кучи заданий -- на одно интересное придется 2-3 скучных перестрелки, отсутствие сохранений(казалось бы, пс2 ушла и можно сделать нормальные сейвы -- но нет) и порою странное поведение ИИ. Они могут ВНЕЗАПНО выехать на встречку когда ты несешься со скоростью света... До кучи: до сих пор нет ограничений по ПДД, теперь даже копов можно задевать(правда несильно), ох уж эти упрощения.. А жаль, в соседней Мафии все всегда было с этим хорошо.

    Но все это мелочи, главная пробелма этой игры -- GFLW и Рокстаровская соцсеть. Эти убогие придатки портят все, из-за них для нормальной игры мне перед запуском надо вырубать интернет -- чтобы лайв дал войти в автономный режим. Про Рокстаровскую соцсеть я вообще молчу, ничего кроме анальной боли от "ваш пароль неверный" он не дает.

    Однозначно рекомендую, благо сегодня она уже должна без проблем пойти у многих.    … Expand

It is a little on the expensive side at $60.The game is multiplayer and you can play from an first or third person point of view.

    In the game you have missions you have to complete. You might have to rob a bank or steal a plane. All while running from the cops. The missions get harder as you go on. Outside of the missions you can roam the area freely. The game takes place in San Andreas open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos. You can explore a vast area and while stealing cars,running over people and robbing banks.

    I was playing on an Xbox one. I am not an very experienced video game player so learning how to play was difficult. It took my awhile to learn how to drive a car. Once I got the basics the game was very fun. Riding in the helicopter was tricky but cool. My favorite part was that I was able to customize my player.

    Overall it is an interesting game. I would not recommend it for younger children. It might influence them in a bad way. It had foul language and not very good actions. Older children might like this a lot. It is on the expensive side but it is worth it.    … Expand

    It's become a laughing matter, the concept of an open-world where the devs boast of how vast their world is. Well GTA V actually earned the right to boast, as it not only houses a massive world, but also one which feels alive and never empty. Unlike so many Ubisoft games in recent years.

They avoid the "2D trap" where characters simply feel to static. Unlike your FPS Standard gunman who shoots because he is a soldier, GTA V's cast feel like they actually change throughout the story. They mold and change from moment to moment. They carry the story forward and ultimately i think anyone who skips straight into Online, is missing a large portion of GTA V's fun.
    That's not to say GTA V Online isn't pretty great aswell, although it did have its fair share of problems, most of them have at this point been fixed, but hacking does still pose an issue to experiencing GTA Online for what it is. It never feels like an addition to the main game, it is a fully fledged, game in and of itself. GTA V might be one of the most enjoyable games ever created.    … Expand

    My gameplay experience:
    1. I played the GTA V not online version for about 30 minutes to learn how the game worked( i.e. controls ).
    2. I then played GTA Online for about 3 hours, during which, i met someone who drove me around in his cool fast car, i stole a car, i did a couple open world missions. I then left that person, and went to do a multiplayer mission, which it took about 15 minutes for loading and queing of players. played for about 10 minutes. mission over.
    3. found another multiplayer car mission via some invite on my in-game cell phone. that took about 15 minutes for loading and queing of players, played for about an hour. made like $77,000 or something. mission over. during this mission i experienced lots of lag and delay in car actions such as braking, or even just turning left and right. I streamed for about 20 minutes with Xsplit Gamecaster, then i stopped cause i thought I was lagging, but it wasn't cause of that program!
    4. played for about 15 more minutes, then left the game.
    5. returned 15-20 minutes and took about 20 minutes to log in to GTA Online again, and it said i was suspended and i couldn't play GTA Online for a 30 days, and i could play regular GTA V.

    Final Issues:
    1. took me an hour to find out how to get support on the rockstargames website to address the suspension.
    2. the rockstargames support doesn't allow new accounts to post threads for help, you must be a member for 30 days.
    3. rockstargames doesn't allow repeals of suspensions no matter what.
    4. rockstargames doesn't have an online chat to speak to someone live, you must call their support phone number.
    5. the support phone number for rockstargames personnel cannot do anything for you, and will only repeat the same notification you get in-game about a suspension and tell you that you cannot get a repeal of your suspension.
    6. rockstargames customer support really sucks and is pretty much non-existent. they rely on players to give other players support for their games.

    PROS:
    good open world
    I like GTA games ( maybe not anymore after this experience)

    CONS:
    1. need to load additional stuff for jobs and queing with other players... takes about 15 minutes to load one of these multiplayer jobs
    2. takes about 20 minutes to connect to GTA Online
    3. took me about 30 minutes to troubleshoot the game with the "safe mode" it provides.
    4. not compatible with Windows 10, need to run game in compatibility mode with Windows 7.
    5. automatic suspending system suspends innocent players for a minimum of 30 days.
    6. customer support number is technicial support and cant help you with anything. they repeat back the warnings you got when attempting to log into a suspended account.
    7. suspensions of even innocent suspensions are not repealable.
    8. all sales final, because by time you get the game working and decide you dont like the game, you've already played 2 hours.
    9. all in-game money that is purchased is not refundable no matter what.
    10. think you're safe cause you live in EU and can use the EU Right of Withdrawal? think again, they dont care.
    11. Steam support AND rockstargames support cant help you with your problems.
    12. you want to post a thread on rockstargames support, but your a new account? well you cant post for help for 30 days. good luck!
    13. takes hours to download this game, its 67GB.

    Not even owned this game for 12 hours, and I've experienced horrible lag, bad customer support by not only rockstargames, but also Steam in not being understanding of my situation by either unsuspending my account or providing a refund. Amazing scenario, visuals, sounds. A must game for everyone (over 18 :D). The Los Santos just a fantastic place, even though there's plenty of new game released, I still came back played the story mode once again. Don't know what the point of letting the player customize the characters clothing or vehicles is, as during the story they're always wearing and driving whatever it is Rockstar wanted them to be at that time. The ones who want story content, and not to mix in with real world players instead of fun fictitious characters. I hope later Grand Theft Auto's have offline DLC, but until that DLC comes out, I'll be refraining from buying their games, and encouraging them to make content I'm not interested in.

    The score of 5 is justified by how much fun I had playing the game, but compared to GTA 4, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, it's 'life span' is 2 or 3 story play throughs. I played GTA 4 unto 5 years after its release. Fallout 3 and Vegas i was playing up until fallout 4's release. But GTA V has been gathering dust since I completed the story. As I know nothing will be added, so what is left to look forward to? If you're like me and feel online gaming is full of negative and abusive users then GTA is not going to be the franchise for you much longer. Rockstar either need to make it clear that no offline DLC is coming for games when they're released.    … Expand

    This is truly the best game i have ever played. Next to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, this is the best. The wide open map is 3x bigger than the one in San Andreas, which is not only good, but amazing. The game is just eye opening. Such great graphics, Great physics, and the best of all; the Characters. Michael is that fun-sarcastic-family guy. Trevor is the badass-insane type of guy, AndThis is truly the best game i have ever played. Next to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, this is the best. Online just extends your time of playing the game, fun and exciting, but there are some hackers though. I'm fine with that anyway. Love how they dealt with the Duke.

    Single player campaign is very good in my opinion, the story is engaging and had me generally interested, not to complex for the light of heart that don't like delving into lore too much. It is fun to mess around in Los Santos, and there many side-missions for you to do if you get bored of the main story-line or have already finished it. Pick GTA V up for the single player, GTA online is just a bonus, do not expect too much of it.… Expand

    Like every GTA game, I had fun initially, but got bored after a while. It has the same issues the series has always had, imperfections in the controls that get annoying after a while, subpar gunplay, etc. The story, like always, was filled with the same character stereotypes that I just don't want to see anymore. They sure built an amazing world though.

    Still playing it. The never ending amount of content to this game is mind-blowing. The recent stunts mission breathed a lot of new life. Single player was perfect.

    My favorite GTA so far... I've over 700 hours in this game and i can say that this game is great!
    here some pros/cons to keep it simple...
    pros: - still new updates (for free, no DLC buying...i love Rockstar for this) - active players (still in the top 10 of the most played games on steam) - big map with nice locations, well done - nice idea with 3 different characters to make a    My favorite GTA so far... I've over 700 hours in this game and i can say that this game is great!
    here some pros/cons to keep it simple...

    pros:
    - still new updates (for free, no DLC buying...i love Rockstar for this)
    - active players (still in the top 10 of the most played games on steam)
    - big map with nice locations, well done
    - nice idea with 3 different characters to make a better single-player experience
    - enough online content as well (freeroam missions, new racing stuff, own office, heists etc.)
    - enough vehicles
    - customizable apartments/houses/cars/outfits/weapons
    - easter egg hunt/some secrets
    - so much fun with friends!

    cons:
    - everything is expensive if you're playing multiplayer, feels like you have to buy in-game money (shark cards)
    - hackers in online... spawning crap to block the road, freezing you, deleting your weapons (its temporary don't worry), spawning money (because everything is expensive) and also trying to crash your game by spawning alot of stuff if you want to report them..
    - could be better for the modding community
    - my experience with the Rockstar support wasn't really good to be honest -_-
    - lack of biker content/biker dlc... (not very important for me but alot of people want this and i totally understand why...so much racing/military/mafia content but no biker DLC for biker crews...)

    Still a great game and i think the hacker thing is getting better... at least a little bit.
    like i said it's alot of fun with friends, enough content etc.. and the hacker thing is not all the time so..

    GTA Online terrible game! Roskstar Games crooks! They banyat everybody without reason, they are not competent. All my friends have suffered a Rockstar. When contacting support no answer comes spam message and all! No one understands the players about the ban. A lot of people unhappy, terrible!

    Royally **** it up with a suite of unlikable characters, negligable option to explore the world in the campaign, a **** campaign, rinse everyone for shark cards, ruin your own reputation. Check.

    People were won over with nothing but spectacle, fancy graphics and shooting miniguns into police helicopters can be fun and all...but that novelty wears off extremely fast but before people already form their positions on this.

    From a single player perspective the biggest thing that the entire marketing revolved around, heists, are very dissapointing
    You only have 6 highly scripted heists to go from, some of which have little to no payout. The choice in them are also limited. How you approach is only two options.

    Picking your crew was also very half assed. It seemed like there was supposed to be more in this game to form an actual large pool of criminals to level and pick for your heists. So that you either choose some crappy crew early on and lose out on a larger score but build them up into a cheap but extremely proffesional crew by the end ( a long term play) or just have a pro crew straight away and suffer the score having hefty cuts.

    But there's so little heists and people to chose from the whole element is just ruined.

    Then comes online. This brings the game down big time.
    Delayed...but still comes out absolutely buggy and unplayable for a month (and still unbearably slow to this day!)
    Then comes the heists, which force people to require a four man crew....that is impossible to find thanks to terrible rockstar servers AND if you do find all four players, the game can be instantly disconnected and throw you out of that session/lobby if just one man decides to leave. Or get's disconnected by shoddy R* servers.

    Seriously, this game was absolutely atrocious from a technical perspective, awful. Onc
    e again style winning over substance and it's infuriating to watch gamers applaud and throw money at this tactic.    … Expand

    This game is amazing, it has a fun storyline and the gameplay is incredible. The online is revolutionary and is completely different than single player. The only bad thing about the game is online mode is unbalanced and there are endless hackers.

    Grand Theft Auto V is a game where you're capable of doing anything — from killing the innocent to completing some missions. This game is about liberty. Personally, I liked a new feature with three heroes. The online part of this game wasn't so interesting for me, unfortunately. However, if you are a big fan of GTA, buying this is necessary.

    At least the singleplayer part of this game does not get ruined by cheaters and absurd prices. The ability to play with mods is great fun. Only shame is some of the content only available for returning players from last-generation.

    I made a mistake by buying this game because of its marketing. The gameplay is frustrating, the missions aren't interesting and the only funny thing about this game is a little cartoon you can find there.
    other than that you'll get to explore and open world full of nothing. there are buildings that you cannot enter. people who you can't interact with and activities you don't want to do.     Best game in the series! I've played all of them and I know it for sure. Great story and characters, well-polished and very interesting gameplay, big handmade world, soundtrack with soul, beautiful graphics, wise humor and style, everything is great here. This game is masterpiece.

For me, the journey was fun. The world is amazing. I love going to the hills at night and just watching cars drive through the city from a distance.     We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
