    A masterwork.
    Campaign is a blast, sand box mode is full of things to do, but secondary quests are a little annoying.

    Horrible multiplayer experience....attrocious grinding , attrocious missions , attrocious broken AI....it's like they tried their best to make the online multiplayer experience as unenjoyable as possible by making everything over expensive and depressing money grinding to make you buy shark cards

    This could be a great game, if their was a better online experience. Huge problem is players who are way above in level who flying around destroying every vehicle they see regardless of game play. This happens in 60%+ of servers and ruins the experience.

    Amazing presentation of LA, truly an accomplishment. The attention to details is astonishing. It's amazing to drive around in the city. I especially loved the radio, with all the witty reports and advertisements. The game looks great with a very realistic look and top notch animations and voice acting. The way the story is told through the three characters Michael, Trevor and Franklin is interesting and unique. The plot falls a bit short sometimes.

    A huge chunk of the gameplay is driving and cover-shooting. The shooting part is very simplistic and offer none to little challenge. This is probably one of the simplest cover-shooting system I've played, because of the auto-aiming. Because of this, the missions with combat becomes boring very quickly. The driving is the most rewarding part of the gameplay, with good variety throughout the different vehicles. The game also offers a lot of mini games which provides small breaks from the main activities. I know the game tries to be realistic, but the controlss suffers from this and feel very clunky and slow at times. A problem with the 3 main character system was that I didn't get invested in one of them. In previous games, I've bought clothes and customized my character but this felt pointless since I switched between them frequently.

    I have nothing bad to say about this game. Graphics? Superb. Even years later after its launch. With PC mods? Forget about it, you won't find a better life simulator. Story? Rock Star gold. The three protagonist POVs are all interesting and matter. They provide unique perspectives with all three having near perfect execution. GTA 5 is one of those games you get lost    IT'S M'Fn GTA 5!

    GTA 5 is one of those games you get lost in. One that you will remember experiencing from start to finish. I thank you you Rock Star for maintaining your integrity with each addition to the series. If you have not played yet... get on that.

    GTA Online - телепорты, убийства и прочие издевательства со стороны игроков (cheat's) которые используют сторонний контент с огромным функционалом (невидимость, бессмертие, телепорты, дроп денег, получение любого транспорта...) не дают    В GTA 5 - графика, оптимизация, сюжетная линия, открытый мир и т.д. - достойна похвалы, но в официальной GTA Online на платформе PC - совсем все плохо!!!
    GTA Online - телепорты, убийства и прочие издевательства со стороны игроков (cheat's) которые используют сторонний контент с огромным функционалом (невидимость, бессмертие, телепорты, дроп денег, получение любого транспорта...) не дают полноценно играть в открытых сессиях (без которых не обойтись). It is entertaining even if you are not playing according to the story. I usually just wander around the city, stealing cars, bikes, para-trooping.     I think that this is truly a unique game and I would recommend that if you are a fan of this type of genre then I think you should give this game a try.

    I loved all GTA games before, Vice City and GTA 4 being the favorites but this game just didn't do it for me.

    The story is just flat, unfortunately, and I didn't like playing multiple characters.

    The most beautiful thing about GTA V is that YOU WANT TO LIVE IN IT!
    All game's aspects made at the ULTIMATE LEVEL (except character development, but who cares?)

    Rockstar once again proved us that they are real "rock-stars" of game industry. You just have to buy it.

    The online mode pushes Shark Cards too much, and that is a fact, most of the items need abusive amounts of grinding, and that is sad, the online mode´s gameplay is really good, especially with the free DLC, but sadly, the DLC content is hidden behind a secret paywall, vehicles cost an absurd amount of money, requiring you to buy some shark cards if you want to get the content at the launch, a small detail that bothers me are the litteral spam calls from the DLC characters, it is annoying as hell, it pushes the content so hard into you it makes you want to buy the DLC content just to stop those calls.    … Expand

    In this game there aren't minus (not to mention mods). Multiplayer in this game - multiplayer of dream, you can do anything action and increase RP. Storyline is very twisted. Everything else was said before me. 10/10.

    I know that rockstar has messed up this game way too many times and that they have and still are milking this game for money but I still won't ever get over how amazing, how polished, how unbelievable this game is. Sure it has flaws but let's also look at how much detail was put into this game. Just the physics, the mechanics, the graphics. Everything worked out so well.     The most fun game I've seen :) Personally, I went through the story line completely! but I did not go through any side tasks :( I do not want to go online because there were too many superfluous cramps in there! But in a single game I added a couple of mods and enjoyed life again) I recommend everyone to play!

    。不知什么时候开始，公共战局里开始出现刷钱、无敌，甚至诸神之战。在其他玩家看来，这些人就是扰乱游戏环境的臭虫，而曾经有过开挂想法的我只看到了一群失败者的狂欢。
    外挂越来越猖獗，以至于从来没有过大型网游运营经验的R星开始应景地对挂壁进行整治。没错，我说应景，因为R星的处理方式是，找几个跳的非常厉害的家伙，封禁15天，再放出来。

    以至于相当长的一段时间内，玩家们只能通过论坛对挂壁口诛笔伐。
    后来，挂壁的活动开始失去控制，R星终于意识到外挂的存在不仅会影响玩家的游戏体验，还会影响自己的收入。比如隔壁的DAYZ就是活生生的例子。R星的运营一拍脑门，决定设计一款

    反外挂系统扔进游戏里。
    从那以后，我的游戏帧数再也没上过30。
    R星的方法很粗暴，反外挂系统检测出的一切玩家统统封禁。然而这个系统不仅能检测挂壁，还能检测被挂壁刷钱、杀死甚至带过任务的正常玩家。而道高一尺魔高一丈，外挂也渐渐进化

    出了反检测机制，于是R星的反外挂变成了反玩家，许多玩家喊被误封，也就是这个道理。而反外挂由于占用了相当多的计算资源，使得本来非常流畅的游戏体验也出现了卡顿——一个号称神优化的游戏，开始卡顿掉帧，这代表什么？
    由于R星的不作为，外挂猖獗到占领论坛公开宣称开挂无罪的程度，这半年来，不知已经有多少玩家被伤透了心，在被反作弊系统卡到连单机都玩不了的情况下，默默地删掉游戏，选择了

    弃坑。我作为从GTA2玩到现在的R星脑残粉，肯定做不到怒删游戏的程度。饶是如此，从今年一月到现在，我也已经很长时间没有上过游戏了。
    前两天我闲着没事干，上线玩了一会。因为害怕被最近R星自暴自弃的胡乱封禁波及到，我选择上空无一人的好友战局。坐在空无一人的摩天轮上，俯瞰着空无一人的城市，忽然感到鼻子

    发酸。就在不久前，我和朋友们还在为完成首脑挑战竭尽全力，为某个忽然出现的灵感殚精竭虑。现在，我认识的朋友们已经把游戏删了，或者已经很久没有上过游戏了。还在坚守这个游戏

This could be true but this game is aged 18+ which means it is for adults and this is shown on the cover.     Grand Theft Auto V is by far the best game that Rockstar has released into the series. The vast open-world environment paired with the simply insane gameplay often lead to a very enjoyable experience that not very many other games can offer.
    Dynamic and unique gameplay seems to have been very important in the design of this game, and it certainly shows. Every single time I launch GTA, the    Grand Theft Auto V is by far the best game that Rockstar has released into the series. The vast open-world environment paired with the simply insane gameplay often lead to a very enjoyable experience that not very many other games can offer.
    Dynamic and unique gameplay seems to have been very important in the design of this game, and it certainly shows. Every single time I launch GTA, the experience is new and varied. This is especially helped by the inclusion of three main story characters, which can be switched to at will. Each of these characters is vastly different form one another in personality and abilities, but yet they fit into a much wider and gripping storyline. This is especially shown off in a few of the many story missions, where the three characters can be used seamlessly and as a team to complete a task. Rockstar knows its strengths, which is why literally the first mission in the game fully utilises this mechanic.
    Thankfully, the fun and crazy action of the games missions also transfers into the free-play in between (which you can easily spend hours playing). The large map of Los Santos and Blaine County are perfectly designed to allow the player to do almost anything. Want to fly around in a jet, steal one from the military base (but try not to get shot down); feel like starting a gang war, just rock up and start one. Almost anything that the player can come up with can be achieved so brilliantly in GTA V (which can also be enhanced by the use of cheats that can be inputted). Both the free play and missions of this game have been wonderfully designed, with incredible scenes of action continuously maintained throughout. The new first-person feature has also been included in this version, adding an entirely fresh perspective on the word of GTA.
    The DLC is a bit controversial, the items being added are what everyone wants, but the price of these items in game and also in real life are extremely expensive. For example, if you want to by a hangar with all the upgrades and the most expensive plane in the game with all the upgrades also it will cost you over £100 in real money for two items, that’s crazy. This is also a great business model, but it’s getting ridiculous as it is turning into a pay to win game, which becomes boring as you’ve got to play missions over and over again to earn money, but still not get enough money to buy a single DLC item. Originally when the game came out the items were all reasonably priced so shark card were a good option that get plenty for your money. They have expanded this game greatly adding new experiences and whole new meaning to crazy but if only it was affordable.
    In addition to the story mode, Grand Theft Auto has a multiplayer alongside it. This can be switched to at any time, where many, many more options become available. GTA's multiplayer is free roam ramped up to 11, especially with the new larger lobbies that the Xbox One and PC versions of the game offer. After customising your character, you can do missions to earn in game currency, then continue to build your own little empire of illegal warehouses, upgraded vehicles and hangars full of planes. The opportunities are even greater than that of the story mode, but yet it is exactly where the only problem with GTA lies...
    Having owned this game since it first launched, I have personally experience the incredible growth of the Online, as Rockstar add many new (and free) DLC's. These for the most part have been incredible, each becoming more ambitious than the last and expanding the game massively. However, as more and more items are added, they begin to cost more and more of the in-game's currency. This has reached the point now where it quickly becomes a boring grind to even be able to afford the cheapest of the new additions. Of course, Rockstar offer "Shark cards" that can be purchased with real world money and translate into game currency, but this is just adding to the issue, with Rockstar adding more and more expensive items so that they can gain more profits from the game.
    Overall Grand Theft Auto V is a massive success, which has really set a standard for open world games, but soon becomes a grind if you're interested in purchasing the newest items without having to use your real world funds.    … Expand

Сюжет в этой части, на мой взгляд, вышел не таким удачным, как в 4 части. Имеем три персонажа, все 3 ублюдки, только выражается это по разному. Сочувствовать героям как-то не получается, это и губит игру. Да, достаточно большой мирКак по мне, немного переоцененная игра серии. I thought this game would be similar to the previous iterations but with better graphics but I was wrong. The core game play still involves the same fun shooting and car jacking mechanics.     “Take-Two’s actions were not specifically targeting single player mods. Unfortunately OpenIV enables recent malicious mods that allow harassment of players and interfere with the GTA Online experience for everybody. We are working to figure out how we can continue to support the creative community without negatively impacting our players.”

    In the first sentence you distance yourself from Take-Two. Nice. Unfortunately, Rockstar is a part of Take-Two Interactive, so either it's a case of left hand not knowilng who's being kicked in the balls by the left foot or... you think we're going to forget that you are Take-Two as well.
    Let's say that OpenIV does have a hole, let's say that it is the truth... WHY WON'T YOU WORK WITH THE MODDERS TO FIX IT!? OpenIV was made specifically for single player, it wouldn't even allow to go online, so that's hard to believe, but since you like to support the creative community so much, why didn't you said anything to them BEFORE bringing up a lawsuit? Modders aren't a malicious force... For **** sake, half if not more of Valve games started out as mods! Besides, if you gave a dead dog's cock of a damn about Online then you'd remove microtransactions from the game. Or made Online a standalone, free to play game...

You can easily just drive around the map for hours and get lost by looking at all of the different sights. Tight driving controls also! I know you re-spawn but still it seems like you got killed for nothing, It just really bothers me the way that was done, Crackdown 2 is more playable, you get killed less often than this game, This game fails when it comes to the guns and everything, characters are way too weak in this game, why can't there be a mode where your fully leveled up and you can really beat some ass like in Crackdown 2, Same Exact price as Crackdown 2 probably even more, and I personally had more fun with Crackdown 2, GTA-5 Is just repetitive after a while, you stay weak forever, you never gain health or armor, in Crackdown 2 for basically the same price maybe even less, more to offer you can even almost never die, you can keep kicking ass forever on that mode and not only that, little to no glitches, you can even have a mode where you can re-spawn like in GTA-5 so it is for you guys too, I recommend that game, Crackdown 2 is a pretty cool game, GTA-5 is just very lacking in certain Options, Not really that open for others that don't like that certain kind of style, It's really too bad, also it is easier to die now, they made your characters weaker NOT STRONGER WEAKER!!!!! While in Crackdown 2, Your character is STRONGER and you can even level up if you want and you can even be immortal if you want, While in GTA-5 There is no mode for that, Why? Shouldn't that be there? That kinda makes the game less fun in a way, I hate to give it a negative review but I feel like I should because this was very unnecessary, Worst Glitch I have ever Experienced, Just plain terrible, Never again for me.… Expand

It feels so real and so visually stunning that you would go for hours into this game and not want to let go at the end of the day.     This game used to be really good, but then the developers had to start making hard decisions. They decided to ban modding, which was a big mistake. Mods are the one thing that keeps a game like GTA interesting, and they're very money hungry.

    GTAV was a great game before the developer Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two Interactive banned modding with in the PC-community. Bring back the mods! I want to be able to play LCPDFR now and in future! The life cycle of the (future) gta-games is also in danger if this stays banned.

    Steer clear of Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar Games and Take Two in the future. Companies driven by greed to the point of harming a long-standing fanbase only deserve to fail.

The modding of these games have been done mostly in singleplayer and with the help of OpenIV, a software that lets you get into the game's files and replace vehicles, scripts, textures, etc. The closing of OpenIV leaves 10,000s of people without access to be able to mod their games, and leaves 10,000s of people without the ability to continue their hobbies. All modding used by OpenIV is for singleplayer use only to make the game more enjoyable, the software OpenIV was never used to mod multiplayer or Grand Theft Auto Online so it does not harm anyone.     Take Two recently sent a cease and desist to the developers of OpenIV effectively killing off the games biggest mod tool under the veil of preventing cheating. Add to that the fact that GTA Online continues to be a hack filled mess on PC and you have the recipe for one baaaaaaad review.

    Take Two has really shot themselves in the knee here with the whole Open IV situation. This... this is not okay! As much as it pains me to give this game a negative review we can not just sit around and let them destroy single player modding.

    I encourage you all to do the same, protest against Rockstar and Take Two until they learn their lesson and fix this!

They said that the mod tool they forbid edit something for gta 5 online, but that's simply not true (that's not from me, but from a big tech and gaming site); the tool only creates mods for single player.     We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
