    I almost gave this a ten because it is an almost perfect game with so much to do. The story is great, graphics are incredible, and just about everything else you can think of is carefully crafted. However, Rockstar seems to not be interested in expanding the base single-player experience and instead have focused on trying to push their horrible, grinding multi-player (probably so you spendI almost gave this a ten because it is an almost perfect game with so much to do.     I have played Gta 1-2-3-4 and 5 and I must admit that that Gta 5 is the best game I have ever played in my entire life.

    The story is the best thing in this game... 3 protagonists and every one is interesting (some games can't get even 1). fluid story telling, Controls , graphics (I recommend a good Graphics card to see all the eye candy's) at first the game had few bugs but they are    I have played Gta 1-2-3-4 and 5 and I must admit that that Gta 5 is the best game I have ever played in my entire life.

    at first the game had few bugs but they are all sorted with time. (can't say the same about Multiplayer).
    I bought the game for it's Single Player and it's Huge ,took me 3 days of non stop playing to finish it.
    The game borrows many ideas from other games, movies, social media... from our life. one of the thing's that make this game great is it's ability to pull you in and forget about the real world.

    The voice acting is top notch in this game. (many actors from movies used to voice characters)
    Multiplayer is also good.hastes are a great way to play with friends, many things to do , will expand you playing time , example : i played Single player 3 days...Multiplayer I spent a month.
    the only negative thing about multiplayer is the connection bug. i have many friends in Gta 5 all around the world and every body have the same issue. from time to time you will get a Network error and will need to reconnect.(issue still not fixed by rockstar)
    Even with this multiplayer issue i am not going to decrease the rating.

    If you are reading this review please stop wasting time, go play the game :).    … Expand

    Overall its not bad, but the game's story is rather boring and it just doesn't feel like there is much to do. The online aspect of the game would have been awesome if done right, but sadly feels like an arbitrary grind for cash and, ways of getting cash are limited and not very fun and the things you can buy for cash aren't really that rewarding anyway.     Crappy console port. It crashes every 10 minutes. Huge waste of money.

    I hate the characters, they are complete morons. They are completely unrelatable.

    This Game allows a open word activity for everybody. It is the best game i have ever seen and the most beautiful game cause of the best graphic in games. But there are some bugs and Rockstar don't bring more content for the Single-player, they are focusing on the multiplayer and whith a friend it is more fun.

    Maybe the best computer game ever made, for any system. You certainly could argue it. I've played all the GTAs, each one right at release and again and again repeatedly over the years, and I've been a huge fan since the very first top down GTA way back when, and this is still the best GTA ever. It's so good it's almost literally unbelievable.

It's so good it's almost literally unbelievable.

    The PC port is clearly the best version of V, with an almost surreal amount of refinement, graphics options, control tweaks, full Surround/Eyefinity support that even includes HUD movement to prevent bezel interference, and the much lauded and stunningly amazing First Person Mode. The open world is alive and constantly in motion, the game is absolutely beautiful, the dialog is sharp and accurate, and the amount of content is gigantic bordering on ridiculous. The minigames are better than, or at least very comparable to, the full game titles that inspired them, and there's so many!

    The game does require a very powerful system to appreciate fully, but since when is that a negative? I'm extremely pleased that Rockstar pushed the envelope of what was possible, because the results speak for themselves. With the review system (specs below) I get steady 30fps through most every type of scene and location in the game, and that's with everything maxed out and vsync ON, except for FXAA instead of MSAA, and no reflection MSAA. Everything else totally maxed out and still 30fps @ 6040x1080. I think that at least merits a o_0, don't you? It's not a bad port at all, it's just got very high hardware requirements and people expect too much out of their old rigs.

    I've only played the game 13 hours so far (a drop in the bucket considering how endless the game is) but the adventures I've had already were so insane and numerous that I can barely recount them all. Spontaneous Burt Reynolds two wheeled flat spinning pistol blazing police chases. Rush hour fender benders that resulted in multiple (hilarious) vehicular manslaughters. Moody train rides across the countryside. Fistfights with angry winos. Giving anyone and everyone The Finger. The first jewely store heist that by itself makes Payday 2 look like an insulting pile of crap. And these are just the first few bites of a massive, 27 course, impeccably prepared banquet of video gaming destruction.

    So many developers getting lazy and greedy these days, but like Elzar the Neptunian Master Chef, Rockstar keep kicking it up another notch. BAM! Best 60 bucks I've ever spent on entertainment. I will play this masterpiece 300 hours or more... by next weekend. Truly GOTY, and one of the best video games of all time. For once, you can believe the hype.

    UPDATE 6/18/2015: 425 hours later I've beat the single player game and almost 100% it, leveled up my online character to level 121... and I still love GTA V to death.

    Sure, Rockstar has failed miserably to curb online hacking, they don't listen to their own community, their patches add very little, the "exclusive content" they reserved for returning players is an insult and a slap in the face to those that have supported them for so long, multiplayer is a buggy and hacker filled mess with far too little exclusive content, the game itself still regularly freezes up on me for absolutely no reason at all, and they've been incredibly cynical about marketing their stupid cash cards that cost a fortune and add absolutely nothing to the game...

    ...but GTA V is still incredibly awesome. You simply can't deny how awesome it is. Sorry. Can't be done. Best GTA ever, one of the best PC games ever, the end.    … Expand

    This game is good, beautiful graphics, epic characters, etc ... but in GTA Online, even worse because full Hackers / Modders (mod menu) / Cheaters as in The Division for PC.

    The game is great in a lot of things for sure, specially in the personality of the characters, but come on, i was expecting such a big deal from the final mission where you kill Trevor and i don't see how it could be more lame.

    And why would he call Michael first if he was going to do it anyways? Franklin himself says that Trevor is Michael's best friend and all, so wouldn't he think that Michael may not like the idea of he killing Trevor?
    Michael could just call Trevor and warn him up about it.
    I also think it should be more realistic in a lot of things, for example in that mission of hijacking the blitz with the masks on that you have to kill like all the police officers of the city, you just keep killing until they are all done and stop coming, then you just go away like nothing happened hahahaha    … Expand

    Beautiful to look at, with a giant world and tons to do. But I didn't enjoy the driving, shooting, or characters, and those were the most important things in the game.

Character wise, the agenda is palpable; The white southerner is a depraved murderous maniac, The italian-american is a mobster, and the black kid is a walking vegetable. Overall, the game promotes amorality, pornography, violence by the truckloads. In fact, I'd be curious to research on the ethnic/religious background of the writers and producers. As it is the case with agenda products, the game is very well produced, and the audio-visual realization is great; The world feels alive. The story and characters are great, the shooting is solid but could be better, the amount of sidequests and content is amazing, and the graphics are beautiful. The games map is massive and has lots of depth there are so many little details and great atmosphere.     social club is a complete trash. It may be a great game, but social club never bother to optimize the game. Instead of patching it up stupid add-ons such as freemode events and vip's registration are introduced.

    It's a little late for such a review, but I just recently was able to piece together a machine that could run this on max settings and enjoy it how it's truly supposed to be enjoyed. Grand Theft Auto V is nothing short of a masterpiece and the the first 10 I've given out to a game younger than 5 years old (My Witcher 3 review is coming soon). This is one of the only games I can load up andIt's a little late for such a review, but I just recently was able to piece together a machine that could run this on max settings and enjoy it how it's truly supposed to be enjoyed. Grand Theft Auto V is nothing short of a masterpiece and the the first 10 I've given out to a game younger than 5 years old (My Witcher 3 review is coming soon). This is one of the only games I can load up and be amazed every time, usually by something unique that I discovered or a new line of chaos I caused running from the cops. This game overall offers more than most any other games created, and on a much more realistic basis than the past. My opinion on the game has to do with the SINGLE PLAYER PORTION ONLY because I don't play, or have any interest whatsoever in multiplayer games of any kind. The game is not bad, let's face it, you can be a gangster for one day, graphically it's extremely beautiful, it's cool that there's an open world with random side-stories happening and stuff but other than that, the missions are boring, the control is pretty bad, there's not even a decent storyIn one word: overrated.     Best open world game I've played so far, the main story is so interesting and being able to choose your way in heist is just awesome, the strangers and freaks missions are so much fun too and you can play for hours without getting bored, hobbies and pastimes are so great, golf,tennis,darts,races it's all just a great game, specially in FPS, highly recommended :D

    Otro mas de la saga GTA y otro pedazo de juego con mayúsculas. Mundo muy extenso, control de tres personajes cada uno de ellos con una personalidad muy particular, cientos de actividades que hacer, buenos gráficos, muchos misterios por descubrir y una gran historia con 3 finales posibles.

    First of all, it looks beautiful. The map is huge, and it has a LOT of a sandbox-vibe to it. It's pretty much up to you what you want to do. You can focus on the (pretty cool) story and do the missions, some of them very epic, or you can drive around, buy businesses for extra income, look for cool cars for your collection (which you can store at a garage you buy, so you won't lose them), try different sports, hunt, explore etc.
    The world feels SO alive, with little things happening all the time... robberies, theft, or, something like this:
    I was drivng around somewhere in the backwoods, and suddenly saw a hitchhiker. I stopped, and he turned out to be a convict who had escaped from a nearby prison. He attacked me, and I paid him back dearly by hunting him down with my car.
    The characters are cool... crazy Trevor, the Tony Soprano-like Michael and Franklin, who kinda accidentially ends up in these criminal activities, but is actually a nice guy. There are some very fun heists, some cool quests to do, and SO much side-activity... playing the stock-market (you can get really rich if you do the right purchases before and after some of the assassinations Franklin is hired to do)...
    This game REALLY is an achievement, with such an incredible amount of detail, so much to do, so well-polished (no crashes, hardly ever any lag, great performance even on the graphics card I had back then, a GT 730), and just so well-done. Easily a 10/10, even though only 2 games get that rating from me in 2015.    … Expand

    Constantly crashes. I rarely get more than 10 minutes out of the game before the screen goes blank. Been like that since I bought it in January. Many emails to support, many suggestions none of which work. Asked for a refund and got more suggestions that don't work. This game has now been removed from my PC. rather use the 60GB of storage    Do not buy this game for the PC.

    I rarely get more than 10 minutes out of the game before the screen goes blank.
    Been like that since I bought it in January.
    Many emails to support, many suggestions none of which work.

    Asked for a refund and got more suggestions that don't work.

    Meh story, with really great world built around them. Looks pretty though. Can't say i'd recommend it to anyone though. Play a few missions and you've basically seen the entire game. More of a simulator than a game.

Not only that we had to wait about two years before V came to PC, the texture quality didn't really change from current gen consoles. I loved IV's story and characters and V was a disappointment in that aspect... V's gameplay is the main reason people like it. I agree on that. V's atmosphere is mehI gave a 8 to GTA IV and I'm gonna give GTA V a 7. Yes, in my opinion GTA IV is better. Not only that we had to wait about two years before V came to PC, the texture quality didn't really change from current gen consoles. I loved IV's story and characters and V was a disappointment in that aspect... V's gameplay is the main reason people like it. I agree on that. V's atmosphere is meh comparing to IV's dark and cold Liberty City. Soundtrack... Again, I prefer IV's radio stations and soundtrack more than V's ones. I had way more fun in GTA IV's Online than in V's. I think that Grand Theft Auto V is an over-hyped game. Yes, over-hyped. It isn't really special. Don't get me wrong, it was a solid game from Rockstar, but IV was fit with so many tiny details I loved and V doesn't have more than half of them. 7/10.… Expand

    The main story is great, but the game has had it's performance destroyed with recent updates for some reason. I've also encountered several glitches that have wiped my garages and bank accounts in both SP and MP modes, which was extremely frustrating . Also, the online is so full of hackers and griefers that it's really not fun to play, even with friends.

    PRO: superb graphics + huge and varied map + many details as vehicles, animals, people, buildings, etc depending of the area where you are + story is well written and interesting + missions are fun and different + 3 characters to play + much more

    One of the best games I've played and far better than any of the console versions. It's a very good port and can be run in 4k fairly easily with a r9 390 or a gtx 970. Just buy it m8.

I did consider the 60 euro too less for what this game does actually worth, I would had paid maybe even 100 euro for this, even tho it's really priceless.

    The sad part about this game, for which I intend the 0/10 review is for the GTA: Online.
    I purchased this game 60% for the online mode - but it's totally a waste of time.

    It's too difficult to actually play/enjoy the online mode.
    Why?
    Party gathering takes a lot of time.
    Matchmaking, to call it so, is very poor - You get in party/team with players of very different levels, different languages and it makes it very difficult for you to have a good social and team-play experience to actually finish the hesit after a long wait to finally start playing the speific mission.

    Not to add what I find the worst part ever:
    People spent real money to buy GTA Shark cards for money.
    ROCKSTAR, have you noticed that on every single server there is at any hour at least 1 guy which does spawns instant kills to every player on the map or spawns money? A friend of mine got 25.000.000$ at level 5.
    That is awesome for him, but what about your customers? Is this fair? He was not banned, nor the hacker nor any other hackers I ever heard of being banned.
    Seriously, you add money to be purchased for real money but you let hackers to spawn endless bags of 40K randomly.

    So therefore, not to mention that the hackers do teleport / instant kill / spawn money - they ruin even the online freeroam.

    I also want to mention another downside for the GTA: Online, which is: no animals. Seriously, why?

    So in the end, Rockstar should either improve the online like 110% - or refund all the customer that purchased Shark Cards for money.
    Also refund me and all the users that paid for the game 50% of the price - Online is unplayable and NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
    As an advice, you can at least create role playing games of 100/200 people and add a chance of role-playing.
    As the unofficial SA:MP mode - it would be way better.

    In the meanwhile I can only add as a big fan of all the series and customer of all series even on the mobile, that this game actually worths a torrent download - don't waste money for it.
    Rockstar does not give a "F" about its customers and scam people by making them buy online money cards while they leave hackers spamming bags of money and instant killing players. No admin/Game Master nor Anti-Cheat system.

If you cant drive, in a game where theres 3 ways of moving, walking, driving, flying.and where in order to fly, you needed to drive to the airport, then you would have a problem in your hands, BUT WAIT, you can plug in a controller, problem solved. :)

    Aiming is also improved, since its easier with a mouse.
    Also: NO PRE-GAME LOADING SCREENS! I mean yeah, you have to load when changing from the Story mode to GTA Online, but when you load up the game, there is no loading screen!
    Only one complaint remains: Running is Caps Lock- if Im not mistaken, and Shift makes my GTA Online character stop and do some weird hand gestures, witch I cannot stop doing until the animation has stopped, it can incapacitate me from combat very easily.

    Overall: Everything is divided. On the keyboard aiming is amazing but driving is bad, but on the controller, aiming is a little worse, but the driving is okay.    … Expand

    Is it OK not to like the game? Will I be banished from the internets? I sure hope I won't, cause I've found this game incredibly dull. I was not able to connect to the character(s), and the novelty of running around the streets and punching people to death wears off pretty quickly.

    It's a perfect PC game if you have the hardware. Yes, getting to the actual game can be a pain because of the required downloads and the goofy Social Club launcher--but those are minor niggles. People giving this game a low score are losers who are trying to run it on their granddad's Pentium 200 laptop. Buy it.

    I have been a PC gamer for 15 years and except for Half-life 2 I have never felt so satisfied with spending $60. GTAV sets the bar so high for what a $60 AAA release should be. The single player campaign is solid and hilarious. The multiplayer is amazing. The heists are some of the BEST strategic coop experiences I've had putting things like Payday, L4D, Tom Clancy's, to shame. The world is actually beautiful like you will pull out your phone and take pictures of landscapes because they are that good. Character animations are off the charts from how people walk to pick their noses; they are the best you've ever seen and I am a character animation snob! The world changes as your driving around with people's talk and walk and behavior switching from city slickers, to homeless, to red necks to college students etc as you roam around. The ultimate mark of its greatness is that my wife (a regular not nerd girl, she's into shopping, getting her nails done and working out; regular city girl) who has never played games in her life has got into GTAV I had to build her a PC and shes now level 50 in multiplayer and roles with me and my crew all the time; I have even come home to her playing without me!!! She now on many date nights just wants to ditch the kids and play GTAV together! We sell drugs together, run over fat people together, run from the cops together it's unheard of! My only gripe with GTAV is server wide voice chat instead of Local only Voice Chat. Meaning I wish you had to be actually near someone in the server to be able to yell at them through your mic instead of hearing everyone all over the server. It's chaotic and most people just turn it off eliminating a lot of the social aspect with random others but I mostly just play with friends so not a big deal to me.… Expand

    Single player storyline is fun, but could be better. The characters are very over the top, particularly Trevor so they get annoying after a while, and Michael's family is horrible, which is the point, but it can be a bit grating at times listening to them.

    Car handling is ok, but too light, and this makes driving less exciting. Cops spawn too quickly and are too trigger happy, making cop chases less exciting,, but still not terrible.

    Online is currently a mess as Rockstar has little to no anti-cheat system and no dedicated servers giving modders too much power. Rockstar has some of the worst customer support I have ever experienced in a video game company. They will not address it at all and cheats can even remove reports of cheaters, which is the only option of reporting cheaters. There is a cheater in almost every lobby, and they will freeze you, blow everyone up, god-mode, spawn objects on you, teleport you, lock you out of your vehicle and even crash your game. Players are downloading hacks just to protect themselves now. It has been weeks and Rockstar has yet to address this epidemic.

    If Rockstar fixes the cheating problem then I would give this a 7 or an 8. But, until then it gets a big fat zero.    … Expand

    It's a great game. Fantastic story, great graphics, huge map, a bundle of fun. Ignore the usual idiots that do not understand the concept of a review or rating, these people would claim it's a perfect game except one little thing and all of a sudden the rating switches from a 10 to a 0.

If there is a guy spawn camping you for thirty minuets, the devs don't care at all. Not to mention the server lag, which at this point it's humorously terrible. Actually it's not even funny. Did I mention the servers close randomly and that I may have only seen a 30 player server once in my 80 hours online? I mean, those are just the hours I spent in GTA Online. They are a lot of hours because I hoped by the 80th, the game would work. I own this game for the PS3, PS4, and the PC, and not one version does this thing work. It's almost as if they completely forgot to put the game, into the game.
    Of course there is the single player. It's good, I mean, if the giant rain cloud behind it (the multiplayer) wasn't casting a grand shadow of poop on it, I would talk about it a lot more. In fact, I don't even have anything to complain about the single player, but that's not what I spent 80 hours doing on PC. I only spent an additional 20-30 hours on the single player, but that's nothing compared to the 100+ of hours that I spent on the multiplayer throughout all the versions of the game.

    At launch I would have given this a solid 9 out of 10. However, over time, more bugs have crept in. There are some FPS drops now even on a GTX 980TI. As I mentioned, the multiplayer cheats and hacks are out of control.

    Overall, the negatives were minor detractors for me. The combined experience is fantastic. The unscripted mayhem that happens in multiplayer missions and heists is pure gold. I can easily recommend picking this one up at full price. If you see it on sale, just shut up and buy it :)    … Expand

    I was really worried that playing three mains, in this title, would break immersion for me and i was thankfully wrong.     I have no real complaints about the story mode.. So i guess you wonder why the 7?? Well.. online; The one game i thought would crossover into online greatly did just the opposing.

    -Load times make me feel like im wasting my time.
    -Players at time can ruin the entire experience.

    GTA 5 has a big open world !!! The Story, the graphics, Trevor are really awsome and online is the best. That makes so much fun !!! Especially with friends.

    Absolutely incredible. It is a great game and runs smooth as butter on my gtx 980 build and also on my Asus gtx 860m laptop (surprisingly) would reccommend to anyone over the console version.

    The story mode is great but the online mode is ruined since there are modderns in every single lobby and you get blown up 24/7. Rockstar is not doing a thing against all the modders. nothing has been better. this game sucks... don't buy it rather burn the money

I'll begin by saying this is a fantastic open world game and is truly a delight to roam around, but this is personally what I don't play GTA for. I'll begin by saying this is a fantastic open world game and is truly a delight to roam around, but this is personally what I don't play GTA for. I play it for the story and this time Rockstar did not deliver, the story and characters are just shallow and is all over the place. It really doesn't know what it is, is it a serious story or is it simply satire (bad satire)? I personally enjoyed GTA IV's much more and even GTA Vice City's (which was reasonably simple). I also feel the game itself is pretty soulless, even more soulless than other GTA games, another huge flaw in my opinion.

    The PC Port is ok, however there was a problem that made this game a little less enjoyable than it should be and that's the constant FPS drops whilst driving/flying, it's far too jarring to not be a complaint. Every couple of seconds I'll get drops from 90fps to 40fps (keep in mind, none of the settings change this, I even played on low and the problem still persisted). My graphics card is a GTX 970 and I have an Intel i5 3450 and 16GB RAM, more than capable to play this game at High+ settings. Some lucky souls have got this game working fine, however the majority have experienced these FPS drops.

    The multiplayer is also total **** with modders all over the place and FPS drops being even more persistent. Rockstar have also developed the multiplayer in such a way that to save up for certain vehicles/houses, you have to buy micro-transactions or you grind away for a couple of days (which is extremely tedious).

    Overall it's a very fun game with a jaw-dropping open world, but it has a very weak story which is very odd for a GTA game. Simply not my cup of tea, I much prefer GTA IV.    … Expand

Seriously, go online with 3 of your friends on Skype or Teamspeak and you will be hard pressed to find anything more entertaining. The game offers so much more for online players than GTAIV had, and it shows. Countless missions, official races, deathmatch arenas, heists and they are STILL adding to it. But when you're done with the official stuff? Well, you can go ahead and make your own. Hell, you can even come up with your own games to play within it. Turn off all your HUD elements and then try to find a specific location. Hell, make it a race.

    Assign one of your friends as the target and the rest of you have to eliminate them using only their car. Why not turn the HUD off for that as well? Hardcore things up a notch. :P

    Seriously, If you've played the last gen version on PS3 / 360, you owe it to yourself to try this out on next gen / PC.

I do not care for multiplayer, I only started it once, only to find that city is dead, and some punk chasing and shooting me from heli with automatic weapon. There is maybe more than that but I did not care. The meter that is never wrong to me is: I like the game then I can not stop playing it. I do not like the game, I need to force myself to play it.     On the technical side, it has some really stunning and beautiful graphics and effects, the city looks gorgeous and the countryside, desert zones, woods, beaches, mountains, etc., are just amazing.
    The sea is what impressed me the most, IMO it’s over the top, it feels very realistic and when you stand near the shore you feel video games will never be the same again if a virtual sea can be this overwhelming. It really feels this game is taking PC gaming to its limits, so if you have a solid rig to run it then you will find here one of the best looking and most technically impressive games for PC ever. Having a system capable of running this beast on ultra-settings will make you think that all your hardware is being put to the test and that your investment was totally worth it.
    I’m very happy with this version, yes the PC version is awesome and everything is almost flawless.
    As a good sandbox this open world has literally tons of things to do, it feels huge!
    Coop is really fun and amazing, with lots of unlockable missions, races, heists, sports, shopping, activities, and a lot more to do, plus they keep adding more and more content.
    The story mode is well developed and it has funny characters (in their own GTA way). The humor is satirical and politically incorrect (as it should be in a -rated M- GTA). At first I thought the idea of having 3 characters simultaneously was strange and probably not good, but when you play it you realize it works really well.
    Gameplay wise, driving is well implemented, intuitive and feels natural, shooting, swimming, running and moving around are too. The game is cool as it is on 3d person already , but it adds the bonus of a 1st person experience, you can switch on the go and it’s really nice too. And with so many types of vehicles, ground, air and sea, and a lot of guns at your disposal, it never feels repetitive or boring. I love clothing and shopping, I have spent hours in the clothing stores, shopping is fun!
    On the sound department, effects are stunning and I love the soundtrack! , a lot of GTA V songs now are part of my personal playlists.
    In general a lot of attention was given to every little detail. This is basically a masterpiece and a perfect game, simply one of the very best games there are for PC. Justice has been served for PC gamers and the wait was very much worth. I absolutely love it.
    So once again, if you don’t have it yet, what are you waiting for?, you should be playing it right now instead of being here reading this.

    Not sure what all the fuss is about. The story is practically non-existent, the graphics and controls are dated for the time in which it was released, and it is a far cry from previous entries in the series. The only redeeming factor for me was the online which was excellent.

    The Pros:

    Great graphics.
    Great music.
    Still capable of using own music with "built-in" radio station suitably called "Self Radio"
    (This is not rocket science, but some people appear to have trouble using it...I dunno why)
    Fairly decent single player campaign/story mode with a feasible, somewhat realistic plot (for a GTA game at least).
    Playing through the campaign with three separate characters as opposed to just one throughout adds a fresh twist to the game and clearly seems to have allowed for a greater level of plot to be created.
    Moddable. It's entirely moddable. The down side of that is that already some dumbass clowns have already tried to infect people's computers with nasties aplenty - one such mod springing to mind is the angry planes mod - which after having been uploaded, stayed uploaded for some time until it came to various people's attention that it needed taking down pronto.
    The other downside of modding GTA is if you're caught using mods on GTA V whilst online, you do run the risk of getting banned.
    Potential for great multiplayer experiences.

    Cons:

    Only two for steam users - not sure about the retail version though.
    1. Loading times take the piss. That is, to some extent I imagine, likely to change with the aforementioned update due to roll out in a few day's time. Seamless, load-free action. The impression I'm given from that and what I've seen is that if you see something you want to take part in, you just get in there and get on with it, as opposed to the current 'choose a job' wait for the job to load, finish the job, rate the job, load another job, etc ad nauseum. This is going to be a massive update and I really hope it works.
    2. For some reason, Rockstar don't appear to be happy with only having to 'activate' the game once through online means, preferring that if you're going to use the game you paid good money for, having you to wait for it to get 'activated' at launch, every. Flippin'. Time.
    Annoying as hell.
    3. As much as there is a potential for great multiplayer experiences with this game, as you can imagine there's also a potential to come across some pretty stupid wankers. By and large, the community seems to be fairly decent enough, with only a few children ruining it for everyone else.

    GTA for the PC has come along very well and looks to be continuing to improve effectively. If only they would get rid of the blasted long intros and the absolutely ridiculous activation process - when surely random activation checks would be better than on a per launch basis.    … Expand

    ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE. Other than some random kicks (more an issue with PS4/ comcast than the game), this is one of the most replayable, dynamic games that belongs in every collection. Massively fun offline story mode, and online play has everything going for it. Best game, total masterpiece.

    It's not that i don't like this game. I give 0 because it has so many hyped reviews that I have to try bring the ballance.

    But let's say truth: It is not good game in many ways. The main problem is with online mode. Sometimes, most of the time, you only see loading screens. You want to join heist? Ok - loading screen, something long? connection dropped? team is full? return home    It's not that i don't like this game.     But let's say truth:
    It is not good game in many ways.

    The main problem is with online mode.
    Sometimes, most of the time, you only see loading screens.
    You want to join heist? Ok - loading screen, something long? connection dropped?
    team is full?
    return home and take a shower... But it's the better option. It can return to exit online mode and after long time of waiting you will end up looking at Franklin, Michael or Trevor.
    Second thing is that there are so many idiods playing this game. I know that it's not R* fault. But they are forcing me sometimes to play in teams where acctualy they are not needed.
    Next thing is low level required for bank heist. Just let's try with some low levels make it on hard mode.
    I didnt see any possibility in interface to kick some one.

    And interface is ugly - it could be enough if it were gra san andreas but take a look at watch dogs!
    There is nice and clean interfaces - not clean black boxes with text.
    Interface isn't even consistent - sometimes there is enough to choose something using arrows and sometimes you need to accept it with return.

    Cars...
    This is something worth buying in this game but not all. I mean a Limo, Heli, Planes - there is acctualy almost no point of buying them.
    I bought a cheap boat and when I call Pegasus I get a random boat!
    And when you call limo, you have to go quite distance to get it... without driver..
    But wait! You have to PAY every time you call Limo, boat or whatever.

    Best PC game of 2015? More like... Most hyped PC game of 2015.

    I've played the Xbox 360 version as well as the PC version and I admit. PC visuals are amazing, Smoother gameplay and interesting mods for the PC version has definitely impressed me. But why a 6 out of 10? Because this game isn't that great to begin with. With all the content in this game the main complaint I have with    Best PC game of 2015? More like...     But why a 6 out of 10? Because this game isn't that great to begin with. With all the content in this game the main complaint I have with this game is the main story from the offline mode. It really took a downhill turn coming from GTA 4, The characters are lacking development, especially Franklin, Franklin is really undeveloped which made his character sound/look like CJ in GTA san andreas, micheal and trevor are the same. Under developed characters which in the end you don't care about anymore. Story is stupid as well because it looks like they really dumbed it down so that the younger audiences would understand the story better.

    Another complaint I have is lack of content... I remember they announced GTA V a long time ago and it was advertised like it was going to be big. So I was expecting San andreas big. (San andreas keep in mind had the most content out of every single GTA game out there.) But I was disappointed, the content it lacked after finishing the missions and all the side missions makes you bored of offline mode really fast.

    But online mode is great, tons of contents and heists, too. The online mode is at least 10 times better than single mode which made me skip story mode for GTA V on Pc. But the GTA V online community is a joke and filled with immature people which makes me spend most of my time playing GTA V alone.

    I would recommend getting this game if you are playing for the online, but skip the single player mode.. it's not worth playing.    … Expand

    Интересный сюжет. Имеется некая вариативность, которая может изменить ход событий. Игру можно пройти несколько раз. Никогда не надоест.
    Графическая составляющая очень даже ничего.
    П. С. Можно придраться конечно к мелочам, например в ограблениях онлайн нельзя подготовится к нему как следует. Например я уже знаю, что нагрянут копы, ставлю автобус на защиту, подготавливаю местность. Потом    Интересный сюжет. Имеется некая вариативность, которая может изменить ход событий.     As mentioned previously, The story lacks criminality. A few heists, a few short missions, and not much else is what you get for criminality. In the previous games you were a Hitman, you worked for the mob, or you were a gangster. None of the 3 main characters fit in these spots. Honestly, I don't like any of the 3 main characters. They lack any personality and are boring cliche's. The story in this game ends rather abruptly, And the end game content is absolutely dreadful. If you love hundreds of boring fetch quests with no reward ( They literally give you $1 for completing one of them ) Enjoy! You have to do this for %100 game completion.
    GTA 5 I find is a direct slap in the face from Rockstar to its previous fans. CJ's house is no longer on Grove st, The Balla's own Grove st now, and this is never explained in the story. This is a direct slap in the face to ANYONE who played San Andreas. The story in this game is absolutely terrible, and wins the worst story of the franchise.

    The Police in this game are broken, and still are broken, and will remain broken. The Police helicopters magnetically follow you around, they crash into objects, they see you through tunnels and underground, a new one spawns the instant you blow it up, and the police on board rarely miss their shots. The police will attack you for the smallest of things, and you can get a wanted level even from sniping someone in the middle of nowhere with a silencer. The police cruisers will even go as far as driving up a mountain to attack you. While the police needed to be more difficult, They went way over board with the cops.

    This is the largest game in the franchise, and they've crammed detail into every corner of the map. Although the mountains have terrible spawnpoints in multiplayer, your bound to find something interesting every so often.

    If you're looking for "Best in the Franchise" aspects to this game, Look to the general mechanics. The shooting is drastically improved for the better and many more guns have been added into the game. The cars and driving are far better then any of the previous games, and car modification is absolutely perfect. The graphics are also vastly improved. These are the award worthy aspects of the game.

    GTA Online, Rubbish since Day one. I've already reviewed GTA Online individually, So I will just give you a shorter version of this.
    GTA Online is cancerous. The community is toxic, the PvP is broken by DLC vehicles, and the game will take ingame money from you wherever possible. GTA Online is packed to the brim with cheaters, and the best Rockstar can do is ban them for 2 weeks, along with the people who mod singleplayer, only to have them come back with their cheats 2 weeks later. R* support is like talking to a wall, Don't bother. They don't care. Don't step into this turd.

    Let it be known that this is NOT the best game in the franchise. Play San Andreas, Play Vice City, Play GTA 3, and take the R* beer goggles off. If you enjoy going on random rampages and exploring, go for it. This game is for you. But in general, this game was over hyped, and doesn't live up to the title of "Best Grand Theft Auto" or even "Best Game".    … Expand

    Bought GTA 5 for 360. Blew away with the graphics and huge open world
    Bought again for PS4. Again blew away by the next gen graphics
    Bought for PC. Blew away by 4K and mod support
    Didnt regretted after buying it 3 times.
    45 fps on GTX 970 4k.
    Worth the wait on PC

    This game is awesome. The story is absolutely amazing, the world is huge, and the gameplay mechanics are great. The only problem is that after a while it turns into one of those games that you play when you are bored. But otherwise its fantastic!

    If you hadn’t had a chance to play it yet at all though, and your computer can handle it, the PC version does definitely feel like the definitive version.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
