    There are too many problems with this "game" to list in just one post, so read through points others have made for most issues with this "product".

    I'll just add that the one thing this game had going for it was the multiplayer aspect, and it just didn't work out. The single most common defense for this game was that "it's fun with friends!" but anything is fun with right friends! If something is only fun with friends that's not point for the games benefit, but your friends, you may as well be playing spin-the-bottle, heck, that would be so much better than this "game".

    There are hardly anyone to be found playing the multiplayer, so if you do not have bunch of friend ready to drop everything and jump into the game with you 100% of the time you will not be having good time.    … Expand

    The only thing that can be distinguished from the advantages of this game is a quite good open world by sight. In all other respects - no comments.

    I'm very sorry for that, but it's truly unplayable.

    This game takes all of my least favorite elements from Fallout 4 and turns it into a $60 game. Brain rotting scavenging gameplay loop? Check. Cookie cutter quest design? Check. Poor writing? Check. Breaks the lore? Check.

    This is the worst game I've ever seen. Nothing will save this game, because the idea itself was crappy. Grant franchise rights to the creators of Fallout. Then, perhaps, you will not be hated so much as now. Or, at least let the creators of Fallout do the next part. The Fallout New Vegas was a really great game.

    A shocking look at sellout game developers willing to gouge children out of money for profit. Of course Take 2 is no better, but at least they delivered a playable and amazing game as in Red Dead 2. I am still in shock at how bad this game is or whatever it is. Heck Atari's Et could be better than this utter Garbage.

    Fallout 76 is easily the worst Fallout or Elder Scrolls game ever made. Probably also one of the worst games released this year by a AAA company. The game is nothing but go here, get/kill thing, come back grinding cycle. There is zero content. The PvP is crap. The Co-Op is crap. The building is crap because it gets destroyed every time you log out. The enemies are so easy to kill that itFallout 76 is easily the worst Fallout or Elder Scrolls game ever made. Probably also one of the worst games released this year by a AAA company. The game is nothing but go here, get/kill thing, come back grinding cycle. There is zero content. The PvP is crap.     Wrote an in depth review but metacritic froze. So long story short, the game is very empty. PVP mechanics SUCK!!! Game itself sucks. Bethesda sucks for releasing something like this, ridden with bugs, it's a fraud magnet for thieves. They can view your personal information just by playing the game.

    2018 and they still don't have ultrawide support. Don't care that it's coming in an update. I'll never buy another Bethesda game period.

    At least you tried Bethesda..... Next time try harder though.... This game looks just as awful as fallout 4 ever did, it is extremely empty and boring as heck. I haven't been so disappointed in a game in a very long while.

    Pvp: Pointless
    Pros: Memes
    Cons: Almost everything.
    If priced at around 20 dollars, I'd give it around a three score but at full price it's a zero.

    Revisted my review after several months. Even with changed it's even worse. The recent announcement of Repair kits in ATOM store only had me login just to update my comments and drop my score. Most items I've calling out below are still true. I'm a long time fan of the Fallout series and was excited to see this new online version hit the streets. The recent announcement of Repair kits in ATOM store only had me login just to update my comments and drop my score. Most items I've calling out below are still true. I'm a long time fan of the Fallout series and was excited to see this new online version hit the streets. Watched all the videos and learned all the "Before B.E.T.A." details I could fine. I broke down and created a Metacritic account for the first time just to provide feedback as a LOT of folks are stating this game is getting negative bombed. Well - it sort of deserves some of the negative feedback based on it's $60 for a "New" game, but we got sort of the same things we had in Fallout 4 + DLC.

    I'm not giving this a high score as I feel like it's still in BETA and should have seen BETA 2 months ago to course correct all the major items they are now starting to address as targets to be completed this year.

    My major issues with the game include the following:

    1. Stash Capacity has to be my #1 issue with this game. For a game that requires you to constantly Eat, Drink, Heal, Upgrade Gear and fix your gear you would think an unlimited Stash would have been default.

    2. BUGS - lots of baddies getting head stretched out and/or can't see them. Gun shots going off and nobody is nearby. Hammering noise from certain direction of map (No matter where I go on Map).

    3. Base CAMP has major issues with blueprint storage, duplicate issues, over capacity, etc. When I'm over budget and delete several items and still can't even put a bed down - it's a big problem.

    4. Voice active by default and no Push to Talk (Coming soon), but this was mind blowing to me.

    5. Costs of repairing is not in line with the realistic number of items you find. Same is true with Vendors and CAPS not being realistically available. (I buy 200 caps of items then they have 200 more caps I can sell stuff against)

    6. Server Disconnects really punish the player in this game. If you are in the middle of a quest you come back into another server and no accomplishments. If you happen to just capture, repair and upgrade a massive resource node and Disconnect (You are going to hate this game then). I've spent time collecting materials to build out a resource base only to have a disconnect lose everything.

    7. This game - looks like Fallout 4 with updated mechanics for Events and Online play. The engine and most of the textures seem near identical to our FO4 games.

    8. Can't play with my XBOX friends (I'm on a PC) and we have tried multiple tricks and even a couple forum post tricks with no luck (maybe it's broken or maybe it's just never going to happen). Playing cross PC/Xbox with friends is about the only "Cool" thing with this right now and it's not working.

    Most of these items are negative in nature and I'm not here to just slam on the game. I think it has some great potential, but right now it's really still in BETA for those that started playing on Launch day and we really saw "Alpha v2.0" during the limited BETA periods. I'd wait at least a couple months (2019) before purchasing this game as it's got some major issues to resolve first.    … Expand

Fallout 76 has taken massive steps back in every way from any of the previous fallout games. There is no storytelling, there is nothing here except a sandbox to play in with other people.     I was so excited about the release of Fallout 76 with the great job that was done on Fallout 4 I was sure that this game would just blow it away, however I was wrong I am so sorry I bought this online only piece of garbage. The load times are very long and the controls are confusing, ammo and weapons are garbage and hard to find so defeating enemies is extremely difficult, so really all you can do is try to run away and hope your stamina will last long enough to escape. I was going to buy five more copies for others I know but having played it for about thirty hours now I am just going to delete the game and hope they do better on the next Fallout or they will surely go bankrupt as a company.     I have enjoyed every game in the FO universe. I have found myself playing each successive game longer and longer, with almost 450 hours in FO4. I had preordered FO76 and had my next computer upgrade sitting in my Amazon cart because as with FO4 i didn't want to be disappointed with the game due to my computer. Glade i waited on upgrading my PC cause it was so not worth an upgrade. FO4I have enjoyed every game in the FO universe. FO4 had its bugs when it came out, so i was prepared to have frustrations with the game on launch (we are not going to call it a BETA, as it was the end game anyway) and the bar was set really low, however Bugthesda managed to still miss the mark with FO76. 15 hours in i was already playing a different game, the tedious game of inventory manager. The whole "the stash limit is there for a reason, an important one" was the moment i requested a refund. This game is a money grab. No npc's, no story, and no communication. YouTube has covered the communities issues w/ the game so i wont rehash them all here but way to ruin a great franchise... Really not gonna launch the game on steam, instead force everyone to download yet another game launcher that knew how bad the game was and tried to save me from it? Really not gonna update and communicate with the "BETA" testers on your own forum? To their credit, they did refund my preorder with no fuss, maybe if Bugthesda learns its lesson it will all have been worth it.… Expand

That's why we have a 2018 game with a 90s graphic engine (yes exactly) which was originally wrote for multiplayer 33.6kb MMO's and 3dfx GPUs, then converted to a singleplayer only engine and is now being forced to work online again with broadband and modern hardware. A train wreck basically. No attention was put into the details, constantly you have to look for Jim, for Frank for Anna... they are all dead! They are all dead because there are no NPCs in this game. So you are forced to go look for a person but you know exactly he will just be a corpse because the whole mechanic doesn't exist. It's so incoherent, the gameplay is miserable, graphics look bad.. On the backend the situation is tragic, you can basically see the IPs of other players in plain text and the game speed is bound to the FPS (yes exactly, like they used to do in the 90s) and i could go on for days. If you buy this game without being an ignorant casual you deserve no respect. You are a short sighted person who rewards bad companies for bad work and i can only hope your actions won't lead other SH to follow.… Expand

    Single player mechanics don't work in multiplayer. I can forgive bugs in single player, because on quick loads. Bubs ruins all. Can't enjoy this game. There is no reason for boss fight or pvp. Pay for fast travel. You have to loot but stash is extremely limited. Walking simulator. BUGS!BUGS!BUGS!BUGS!BUGS!

    IT'S JUST DON'T WORKS. AT ALL.

There is no point in ranting about this game, the whole internet knows about what's wrong with this game. I just want to warn the potential buyers to not buy this game, especially not rn. I would suggest waiting a good couple of months for the bugs to be fixed (which BethesdaI wouldn't even play this game if this was free let alone pay 60$ but I did even though everyone warned me not to.     Fallout is a RPG journey. This was not. An empty world, devoid of NPCs, lots of bugs and micro transaction filled money grab. It got old very quick. Pick up junk here do a bland quest there, made the game seem soulless. And to top it off, this time they don't have the modding community to fix all the bugs or make it a better game.

    The game runs awful with engine-related bugs a **** ai that stands awaiting for you to kill it and no role playing in a franchise that´s about that. The game only understands itself as a **** excuse to implement micro-transactions and paid mods.

    The world feels empty, void of any content, it feels stripped of anything that is interesting. You walk around aimlessly for hours following quests which are so shallow it's almost painful, fetch quests are all the game has to offer you.     The world feels empty, void of any content, it feels stripped of anything that is interesting. You walk around aimlessly for hours following quests which are so shallow it's almost painful, fetch quests are all the game has to offer you. Walk here, collect this, walk there collect that, shoot a few horrible animated, disgustingly buggy monsters, walk back to the robot hand in quest, get caps (currency) and repeat.
    There is no characters in this game, a few robots that are so similar to each other you cannot tell the difference, no NPC to get invested in, no story or interesting dialogue to keep you pursuing and prodding further nothing. The game is unstable, server crashes, poor performance, so many bugs occur all of the time. The graphics are somehow worse than Fallout 4, it literally feels like a carbon copy of Fallout 4 but somehow downgraded, performs worse, over-saturated, horrendous texture resolutions, terrible animations, terrible post processing effects that blur out everything. You walk around seeing the world as if your face is inside a telescopic lens, everything is so zoomed in and claustrophobic, monsters can vanish from under your nose.
    PVP is the most useless system in this game, you deal a small portion of damage to an enemy to initiate a "duel" however, the duel will not take place until the other player shoots you back. This leads to a situation where the other player can stack on all of the best gear, best weapons and kill you with the very same shot it took them to start the duel.
    The game is void of anything, it is one of the most disgusting releases I have ever come across, it is such an insult to anybody that has paid £50 to play this unfinished, buggy, uninteresting, disgusting to look at, 50GB pile of dog.

    I'm a level 99 Fallout 4 player. My computer crashed before I could hit 100! I love Fallout 4. My copy of Fallout 76 arrived over the weekend and I spent all day Sunday playing. I know people have complained about the graphics. I'm disappointed they didn't improve, but I love Fallout 4, so    I will play during the holidays, but I am actively telling friends to not buy the game.

    I'm a level 99 Fallout 4 player. My computer crashed before I could hit 100! I love Fallout 4.

    My copy of Fallout 76 arrived over the weekend and I spent all day Sunday playing.

    I know people have complained about the graphics. I'm disappointed they didn't improve, but I love Fallout 4, so it wasn't important to me.

    in one day of playing, the game crashed twice. I had one visual bug. I expect these to be fixed over the next few months.

    My real grips are the following:
    Limits - I can't carry much, so I'll put it in storage. I can't put it in storage, so I will build a bigger base. I can't build a bigger base, because I already hit the base limit on day one. And since I can't have a companion, I lost more carrying capacity again

    No interaction - No choices to be made. No good or bad decisions. It is a set story line and boring.

    Scorched - Is there anything in this game other than scorched? They are everywhere. It feels like Bethesda didn't spend the time to create anything else.    … Expand

    Ok we've seen Bethesda releasing buged games before but this really breaks everything. This is the worst game in terms of bugs u can imagine. Apart from all other controversies this is simply insulting. I hounlestly was looking forward to this but Bethesda has lost me as a customer. Forever!!!

Bethesda stripped down the majority of what made Fallout what it was in the 90's with Fallout 4A bland, uninspired and buggy mess. It looks like a cheap, rushed mod for Fallout 4 being sold at full price in hardly a playable state. How are Bethesda still using a near decade old game engine? This game looks as if it could belong in the last generation and yet the performance is dreadful.     I pre-ordered this at the last minute and missed out on the beta. So on launch day I started the game, created a new character. Ran around the vault for 10-15 minutes with nothing to do. I exited the vault and the usual wow Graphics, I've finally made it out.!!

Ran around the vault for 10-15 minutes with nothing to do. I exited the vault and the usual wow Graphics, I've finally made it out.!!
    3 Hours or so into the game I just stared at my Pc monitor wondering what this is all about. Bugs/Glitches even Heavy breathing because of a non existant push to talk system, Not even a chat system. The 'BASIC' online game systems 'Do Not Exist'. PVP I'll leave you to google how stupid that is.

    Now I've been lucky enough to have grown up with the computer industry starting with a zx80, zx81, zxSpectrum, amiga, commodore , etc etc Games like 'Attic Attack, JetSetWilly & Sabre wolf.. etc.. These were part of my childhood and I really enjoyed them.

    I was just 'UTTERLY' ''BORED'' so I decided to start a new character and try again, and guess what? I WAS bored 'AGAIN' This is an Alpha release at best not full AAA.
    I made a decision to ask for a refund (which I didn't think I would get on the 17th Nov) it was approved and I have a full refund.

    This is a SHOCKING game and should never have been released in the state it is atm. Todd should be sacked for releasing this. DO NOT BUY IT. You will be so disappointed folks.

    There are absolutely no redeeming qualities to Fallout 76. I've been a longtime fan of Bethesda going all the way back to Morrowind. I've watched over the years and the quality of their games have been ever so steadily dropping, circling the drain as their RPG mechanics are stripped out or dumbed down and their stories are simplified (and cease to make any sense (For a point of reference,There are absolutely no redeeming qualities to Fallout 76. I've been a longtime fan of Bethesda going all the way back to Morrowind. I've watched over the years and the quality of their games have been ever so steadily dropping, circling the drain as their RPG mechanics are stripped out or dumbed down and their stories are simplified (and cease to make any sense (For a point of reference, I'm in the middle of doing a near full analysis of Fallout 4, the first video alone was two hours long and it very much looks like the next two videos will be equally long and that's not even counting the DLC))

    Fallout is a series that has a place in the heart of many gamers and it isn't simple brand loyalty. Fallout has become an established series rooted deeply in player choice, characters, world building, storytelling and it's RPG mechanics, something Bethesda has tragically stripped out from each game. The change of format from an Isometric RPG to a first person one isn't a game breaker for Fallout, however removing everything from Fallout that MADE it Fallout is.

    Fallout 76 presents a vast and empty world, in which there are no characters and nothing to do but wander aimlessly. No characters = no story. While there are in fact quests and a supposed main story, they essentially boil down to generic tasks for you to complete while any attempted semblance of story is crudely vomited at you via drawn out audio logs. Without characters in the world, there is no investment in completing quests as your actions are meaningless to the world and exist solely as vague "things" to keep the player busy. All quests are presented by a holotape, a computer terminal, a note or a dead body and they all end in the same fashion or just at random when you complete the objective. Many of these quests will also just dump random "loot" items into the player's inventory upon completion, even if the goal of the quest was to find a cache of loot anyways.

    Bethesda must have taken the criticisms of Fallout 4's story and dialogue system seriously and their solution was to just remove them entirely. All you're left with is a world full of loot to aimlessly gather, enemies to shoot at and raising your character's S.P.E.C.I.A.L. for no real reason.

    To top it all off, Fallout 76 is a buggy mess as well. I have no idea why fans of Bethesda have let them get away with their buggy games for so long, but prior to the release of Fallout 76, it had become a meme and something people joke about, but ultimately have given Bethesda a pass on. There's already countless videos out detailing the many bugs, glitches and errors. During my playtime, I had enemies fall through the world, dead enemies floating mid-air as physics stopped working and numerous enemies teleporting about just to name a few.

    The game was laggy during my entire playtime as well, there was constant stuttering and pausing and near freezing. This made the game near impossible to play, especially in combat, as it made aiming at any enemies about 10 times harder than it should have been. There was at least twice I thought the game had frozen or crashed.

    Speaking of combat, most of the enemies I encountered didn't do too much damage. If you let them pick away at you, they could kill you, but otherwise they weren't much of a threat. I know there are more enemies in the game, but I only encountered just a few in my 3 hours of play. Weapon and armor durability is back, much to my surprise and as much as I disliked it being removed from Skyrim and Fallout 4, I wish they hadn't added into Fallout 76, as combat is already a chore. This is made worse by the fact that you need to access your Pip-boy to switch weapons if one breaks. This is also an issue when you run out of ammo and need to switch weapons. As this is a multiplayer game, the game does not pause while you're in a menu, meaning as you're scrolling through your Pip-boy, which is still a pain to navigate, the enemies are still hitting you.

    In addition to all those reasons for combat being awful, weapons and armor are now level-gated like an MMO. It makes sense for World of Warcraft to prevent a level 1 player from equipping an item that gives stat bonuses meant for a level 120 character, it doesn't make sense for Fallout to have this as well, even in a multiplayer setting. This essentially forces the player to use the awful Pipe guns straight from Fallout 4 for the early game. This also leads to situations were you can't strap a metal bracer to your leg as armor because you're not a high enough level, which is just plain silly.

    In addition there is a microtransaction shop, complete with virtual currency and a scaling pricing system to buy this fake currency for in-game items. I don't know the exact exchange rate on these "Atoms," but as far as I can tell worthless outfits your character can wear will cost a few bucks each and odds are, you won't get much use out of them.

    Everything bad you have heard and more are true. I honestly think all the good reviews are written by staff members and share holders. Don't waste $60 on this game please. I wasted $120 because I bought it on PS4 and Xbox1 because oh yeah, you can't play with friends across platforms either. And another $59.99 to renew my PS4 Online pass, so I'm $180 in the hole for this abomination.     If this game had been released as a disk based title with no way to update it online like games used to be made, there would be riots in stores with people demanding their money back! Don't give me the "this is a beta" or "it's only opening week" BS!!!     I should really be thanking Bethesda for curing me of this addiction to Fallout. If this game had been half as good as previous versions I would have spent thousands of hours playing online instead of spending time with my wife and kid. But after 20 hours of ignoring them and TRYING to like this game, I just can't do it. I would rather sit with my wife and watch The Bachelor or some other God Awful show on the Oprah network.

    The game play, bugs and glitches and graphics issues aside is just horrible. The card system is pretty cool but you get random cards and have no way to "build a character" like you usually do in a fallout game. Imagine leveling up in Fallout 4 and just spinning a wheel to see what perk you get next. Oh WOW i just looted an awesome weapon, too bad I have to be level 30 to equip it. I'll just save it for later but oh wait, my stash is already full cause I can't craft anything useful till I find some plans for a GD weapon that I already looted 400 times and broke down for parts! I guess I'll just go kill another 10,000 scorched that keep re-spawning in my face every ten seconds and hope one of them drops something useful. NOPE just another A-D block, that's f-ing useful if Shawn was still a kid not a senior citizen. Building your own camp is kinda cool, till the server resets and you lose everything you built and have to start over. Taking a settlement for resources is great, till you logout and lose your progress. Or you invest tons of resources into it and some massive mob attacks it while your trying to complete a timed quest and destroys everything and you can't rebuild cause I'm out of junk!

    This game should have never been released in this condition. It can't be fixed with patches that are bigger than the original version of the game. It is flawed from the ground up and needed years more of work to make it playable. Bethesda has lost all credibility and I will never give them another dime. How they thought they could fool hardcore gamers is beyond me.

    PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

    There was a time when Bethesda's name carried the same weight as Rockstar and Naughty Dog. As a bethesda fan I gave this game despite the bad comments a chance and played it at least 10 hours alone and further 20 hours with friends to make my own opinion. And i'm totally disappointed by bethesda, it was a waste of time to play Fallout 76. Never thought that I would say that about a Fallout game.

    3) Монстры, меня убивают на локации, в одном месте, в одном квадрате, 9-15-22-40-45-50-58 Вы что издеваетесь? на меня бежала 2-ва зомби 58 и еще один светящийся потом 58 да я получаю с них по 300 опыта круто, но епт. Вы вообще?
    4) Ремонт, ремонт брони стоит дороже чем сделать и грейдануть заново, имбо.
    5) Система управления на клаве + мышка.
    6) Повторно берем пупсов
    7) Система развитий карточек, прикольная и реализованная в других местах. Но когда епт все хлам у тебя тупо нету этих карт, и ты забиваешь хоть чем то, даже если тебе это не упало.
    8) Балан оружие, тут я про молчу. когда 10 уровень мощнее 20, а еще одно и то же оружие но разного уровня, это просто божественно. (оба грейдел с дефолтной версии, самой галимой) обычное ружье 10 уровня урон 71, 20 уровня урон 70 (как) все модули одинаковые, некоторые только рукоять другая (на урон не влияли и прицел другой поставил)
    9) Игра просто раздражает. То что нравилось в Fallout 4 убито, порезано.
    10) Система VATS говно
    11) Захват точек, к черту не упал, вышел, зашел пустая точка, не кем не занята и не тобой тоже по 100 раз строить не вижу смысла.
    12) Бюджет строительства, лимит на постройки, хоть бы толкова объяснили как увеличивается и тд тп.
    13) Пропадающий CAMP.
    14) Вытикает из 13-го Да вернуть не проблема за одно и бесплатно, только вот даже на ровной поверхности не факт, что поставишь схему заново, не говоря уже о том, что бы восстановить на том же участке (где была неровность) Сколько крышек просрал    … Expand

It's buggy ( as always for a Bethesda game), it's boring, it's ugly (I'm not a grafics guy but compared to current releases, heck even last gen, it looks bad), it's a cash grab.     I've been a fallout fan for over 15-18 years. I own all the games, eat the lore and love the plots. I've tried to keep an open mind to 76 but I can't even find the desire to play the game. I've tried to keep an open mind to the multiplayer too and have positively interacted with other players but it causes mobs to spawn while you try to wrench out what little game plot that you can fromI've been a fallout fan for over 15-18 years.     Easily the worst game I have ever played. Why did I even buy this game, for the life of me I shall never know. Please don't buy this game The game is full of glitches, boring gameplay, and absolutely bad story.

Bethesda has gotten away with releasing unfinished and unpolished games for too long, and because of the need to release a game this early just in the hope of catching the christmas sales and the game of the year awards has now shown how greedy Bethesda has become. people need to stand up together and voice their opinion like never before and show the world how terrible Bethesda has made. if there is an award for most unbelievably bad game made by competent creators this game should be given this award every day over and over again. we shouldn't excuse the bugs, we shouldn't excuse the poor quality, we shouldn't excuse the micro transactions, and we definitely shouldn't excuse the full price for something that looks like it just entered a playable alpha stage of development!… Expand

    It looked like a cool game and i had high hopes since Fallout 4 was such a great game, however that's not the case, the game is not only glitchy and keeps on disconnecting you, it's has no story what so ever.
    You are just suppose to run around and listen to holotapes and get killed by random player when you are trying to listen to your holotapes.
    Won't buy anything else from Bethesda.

    I can't believe I'm saying this but this Fallout game sucks and it doesn't deserve to be part of the franchise and as far as I am concerned it never will be. I wish I could drop a nuke on 76 and wipe it out of existence completely. I would happy to have a Fallout multiplayer experience just not this one.

Not only is this game basically just a copy and paste of Fallout 4, it has some of the same bugs. It feels rushed. Empty. Items break impossibly fast. Food spoils impossibly fast. Your CAMP randomly deletes items for no reason. Server stability causes quests toDefinitely the last time I give Bethesda any money at all.     I have beaten every Fallout game (including Tactics and BOS) twice, I really love fallout. But I can’t support this. Not only does this not feel like a Fallout game, it’s also completely broken. The servers barely work half the time, I’m constantly getting kicked out. There’s no story or even decently entertaining quests, so there’s no point to do anything other than wander around andI have beaten every Fallout game (including Tactics and BOS) twice, I really love fallout. But I can’t support this. Not only does this not feel like a Fallout game, it’s also completely broken. The servers barely work half the time, I’m constantly getting kicked out.     Bethesda selling this game for 60$ like its a AAA game only comes across as a cash grab to me. I didn't like the way the did the chat wheel in Fallout 4, I must say they did get rid of it and replaced it with nothing at all, then continued that idea till they had fallout 76 "completed". this would have been a fine DLC for Fallout 4, not a stand-alone that looks like a copy past of 4.

    The Game is absolutely disappointing. All users should get refunded 90% of the purchase price, because except for a large empty world with occasional mobs the player gets nothing. Too much promised and almost nothing delivered.
    Never pre-order a Bethesda game, that's what i've learned.

    It's the empty game, you have nothing to do here. of course you can try to kill some other players with your friends, but that's all you can do, After few days of playing i closed the game and i'll never launch it again

    Few players per server.
    There is no npc and the story is poor.
    serious bugs.
    No steam no refund...
    at least I could uninstall it :D

    No Push to talk is retarded, absolutely the stupidest thing in any game online EVER, (will be fixed in time they say)

    No NPC's(where will they scream REEE now?) the lack of any rush or real connection like previous fallout games had is just a total show of how much Todd cares about the cash over making something to be proud of. If they are not DLC/Patched in this will be a total waste of a game.

    Last rant before the good, "Level Capped Weapons" Thinking back to my favorite fallout game being tactics (yah I'm that one guy :P) they had special locked games so you worked towards more strength or intelligence. but no Bethesda screws us with level capped gear, breaking any immersion. such a disappointment the faults.

    The good.
    -The community is awesome so many people wanted this to be their dream fallout so unlock the mods Bethesda before we all jump ship
    -Team play when it works is amazing, Taking down a DeathClaw pack with the wife and some friends was epic
    -lighting is nice, not great not awesome just nice
    -Card system is actually pretty cool
    -Camp is way better now
    -clothes and armor can be fun to mess around with

    there is so much more meh and bad I can say but I leave this to Bethesda, if you do not bring NPC's to this game and improve the glitches I will wait till another company picks up the pieces and makes their own fallout like game as it will be the last I buy from your studio

People are toxic, schedules are vastly different goals are different, even in a game like warframe it's a problem. I much prefer a story and to play at my own pace and not to see other players whono npcs, forced grouping for some content = terrible.     i play fallout since 1997. this installment is a farce and an insult to all fallout fans. bethesda, please delete this **** and reprogram it from scratch, so it will be a fallout mmo in the quality of ESO.

    i've played fallout 3, 4 and i really enjoyed it, but from the day this game was announced i knew that it was going to be a piece of **** of a game .., but i waited and bought a beta code from a guy to test it and god damn it that i regret the 25 euros that i've payed for that code, every thing was as ****ty as i expected .. what a shame, this world is completely dead .., the main questi've played fallout 3, 4 and i really enjoyed it, but from the day this game was announced i knew that it was going to be a piece of **** of a game .., but i waited and bought a beta code from a guy to test it and god damn it that i regret the 25 euros that i've payed for that code, every thing was as ****ty as i expected .. what a shame, this world is completely dead .., the main quest line is **** + there is like 0 NPC, WTF ... the enemies suck and respawn in some minutes, the building mechanics are awful, i mean when you disconnect all what you have built gets deleted !!!!!!! WTF !!

    but what i've been asking my self all along my 6 hours of playing this game is : Why did they make it online ?, the enemies are so easy that an enemy with double your level you can kill him with 2 head shots .., the loot sucks, and there is a cancerous system of : LEVEL Lock for items, and all what you build get's removed at your disconnection.. why would any one play this game with a friend ? why would any one even want to play this game ? ;The perk system is just bad, i mean REALLY ? open random card packs to get perks ? the hell ?

    i can still write for hours about all the issues with this game but i just don't wanna waste more of my time ..

    i mean god damn didn't they test the damn game before they publish it wtf ?

    BUT : what pisses me off the most with this game is not the fact that it sucks, but it's the fact that Bethesda wasted money and time on this pile of crap INSTEAD OF WORKING ON THE ELDER SCROLLS 6 ..    … Expand

    Fallout 76 represents a big disappointment and the lowest point of the series so far. Riddled with bugs, repetitive and dull gameplay, nonexistent story and outdated graphics, it fails as a both multiplayer and singleplayer experience for fans and newcomers alike.

    Miracles do happen once in a while and No Man’s Sky proved that sometimes it is possible to get back on your feet even after a terrible failure. Right now though Fallout 76 is botched spectacularly on so many levels that even talking about this game is a waste of time. [01/2019, p.46]
