    I always knew that this game is complete **** But still this series is my favorite. And today, I still decided to buy it. Well ... in the first 10 minutes of the game this crashed 2 times.

    I did not notice big problems in the game. In addition to two - the game constantly crashes and disconnects. Try to complete a daily quest, which can take about 15 minutes to complete.     I made an account here just to rate this terrible game. I don't plan on pre-ordering anything from Bethesda in the future, and depending on reviews of their future games, I might not buy any game from them again.

    I really love Fallout since 2007, so finally after about 100 hours of gameplay:

    Pros: -beautifull crafted World (although 80% Re-used assets from Fallout 4) -Exploring the World -Crafting -Building -looting and shooting (The junk Concept of Fallout 4 is really great) -slight survival aspects Cons: -Disgusting, greedy Macrotransactions (gating of Features with a paywall)    I really love Fallout since 2007, so finally after about 100 hours of gameplay:

    Pros:
    -beautifull crafted World (although 80% Re-used assets from Fallout 4)
    -Exploring the World
    -Crafting
    -Building
    -looting and shooting (The junk Concept of Fallout 4 is really great)
    -slight survival aspects

    Cons:
    -Disgusting, greedy Macrotransactions (gating of Features with a paywall)
    -Bethesda lying and constantly pushing the boundaries to extort more and more money while gating of more features
    -still plenty of bugs (partly from launch and with every update the list grows a bit longer)
    -very limited storage which contradicts the hole looting, trading and collecting game loop
    -Main "Story" for the most part very boring, very buggy and very stretched out
    -Quest design mostly very boring filler stuff
    -insert here next step of overmonetizing this turd
    -very grindy
    -No endgame mechanics other than rng legendaries (which you can re-roll for other rng legendaries)

    Yes i have spend many hours in this game. i enjoyed exploring applachia slowly and had some hopes for the game in spring. This Hope has been lost in the summer More Macrotransactions and more bugs is the roadmap for this game. I don't have hope for wastelanders and a think this game will go free to play in the next months and will be abandond next year. I just scares my what we can expect for Starfield, ESO 6 and Fallout 5    … Expand

    I am at a loss for words, nothing can describe the feeling of utmost disappointment and disgust at to what Bethesda did to this beloved franchise, even a score of 0 is too much for this game, i was and still am a great fan of the Fallout franchise but what Bethesda did here saddens me to no end and knowing that there are people defending this game is simply mindboggling.     So i ended up with this game because a friend gifted to me, and right now im just thinking if we should still be friends, the game is just completely broken, a ton of bugs. not only that the game now has a suscription with stuff that should be for free. also NO LATAM SERVERS.

    Neverending flow of bugs that keep returning. After a hopeful period in the first half of 2019, it shows that ultimately Bethesda's promises are false, they do not populate the game with sufficient new content, they introduce P2W mechanisms and have their players for a cashcow without actually fixing the game first. There are way better alternatives around. Stay away from this!

    I paid $140 for this crappy game and now they want me to pay a subscription when I got WOW and WOW classic for nearly half of Fallout's subscription and I get far more for my money as 76 is a disgrace of a game.

    I have officially given up on Bethesda and the Fallout Series. They killed it and for that I will NEVER forgive them... ever !

    In response to player willingness to make purchases in the Atom shop and out of pure greed, Bethesda removed the ability to repair your weapon etc. at a workbench and began charging players for item repair kits. This is bait and switch marketing. it is a low down dirty way to take advantage of customers who have already invested money and time into a version of the game that was sold with entirely different mechanics. Personally I will never buy another Bethesda game again for such shady backhanded business practices. I didn't even get into all the people they ripped off with shoddy merchandise.    … Expand

    In italy there's a "little" organization that first put the danger in the streets, than asks you to pay the protection. Mafia, in its origins name, means "bully" before meaning "criminal organization"; surely Bethesda doesn't kill people but they murdered videogame spirit.

    To the next company that cries because of its own flop I say to learn to respect customers and start to follow a quality product standard like other products in life; I don't think that we would accept the same things that happen with videogames buying, for example, a car:
    "Don't worry, this car doesn't have wheels NOW but with the next patch you'll get the them for free".

    Insanely, and absolutely terrible, I've been a fan of the whole fallout series since the first, got Platinum trophy in Fallout NV, 3 and 4, and I must admit that Fallout 76 came as something totally unexpected, since the stuff they putted on it was supposed to be on the 4, also the cost of it and the stupid micro transactions bethesda has created its just ashaming

    you know it is just funny reading the metacritic reviews. Fallout 76 was basically Imported from Fallout 4 with very little changed. Why did they release it in 2018? god i don't know. if only they released it now they *may* of had a more positive review

I can not stress enough how bad this game is, but take this review has an entire rating of everything related to the game (Collector’s Edition, Nuka Rum, Fallout 1st). Even though I got the game essentially for free from a bundle, I still feel robbed, like how is it that every single week there’s a new **** up? And this week’s episode of how did Bethesda ****ed up now, the game literally became a creative mode MMO Fallout 4, everybody has god-tier weapons, Preston Garveys as companions and ****ing pridewings. I knew the game was essentially a Fallout 4/ Skyrim re-skin but this actually feels like a mod. TL:DR, **** this game, **** Bethesda and I hope you at least enjoyed the game with your friends or at least returned it before having a rage induced seizure.… Expand

    Music/sounds : Well, since the launch with a good song, I was expecting something better... The radios are well... uninspired, the ambient soundtrack is poor and feel repetitive. The enemy sounds and weapons sounds are OK for the most part, but still strange... Sometimes silenced weapons sounds like normal ones, enemies sounds left or right but are just on the top floor... 3D sounds seems poorly integrated in the engine.

    Story : PWP ? Seriously, this game as a story ? For me the story stop at a bug, the same bug as in the B.E.T.A, I go to an objective, the game doesn't register me quitting a terminal... I'm done with this **** It's on the main quest, and it is still bugged more than a year after release... Reminds me of some guild in skyrim that does the same time to time...

    Stability : None, I tested the game today, and yesterday to see if it is any good now... Well, server seems to have less lag... But it's the only thing I can feel. I have the screen going black in random flashes time to time. I have like loading lag, object appearing from nowhere... Or best, enemies still spawning in my back, I can't do more than one or two objective before the enemies spawn back ! Oh and not forget the most important, I'm here because the game just "crash" no error message, nothing to tell me why, it just crashes...

    Does this game deserve salvation ? : I doubt that, events if they implement rushed npc, this game stability is less than good, 14 months after release... OK, maybe the most "glitchy" things are out, but... This is still less stable than Fallout 4 with more than one hundred mods... how can it be ? And yeah, the game looks old, for a second I feel like I was back five years ago, maybe more...    … Expand

    With the wastelanders update the game hasn't improved one bit.
    It's still very buggy with a horrible community or gankers and griefers.
    Also duping is still a thing and exploiters are common.

    Graphics are still glitchy and it's a huge grind to get anywhere.

    This is one of the worst games I've ever played.

    I played my friends game and it was awful, but clearly they've been adding to it from the launch. That being said there is literally no reason to purchase this game for another 3 or 4 years, gives the time for developers to complete it.

    Fallout 76 is the biggest disappointment out of any game I've ever bought, and quite possibly the worst game I've ever bought. Everyone knows about the controversies like the deceptive marketing with nuka-rum, micro transactions, info leak, canvas bags and bugs. Bethesda has been flat out greedy with the release of this game, and all evidence points towards it. High price tag, atomic shopFallout 76 is the biggest disappointment out of any game I've ever bought, and quite possibly the worst game I've ever bought. Everyone knows about the controversies like the deceptive marketing with nuka-rum, micro transactions, info leak, canvas bags and bugs. Bethesda has been flat out greedy with the release of this game, and all evidence points towards it. High price tag, atomic shop (micro transactions which has non cosmetics now), fallout 1st, and now the new armor packs. Bethesda wants to charge you $13 a month for something that should be free in game, limitless storage. Not to mention these power armor suits you can buy for $20 a piece should be included in game as well. Additionally Fallout 76 has run "exclusive skin" events both in game and through Twitch prime (along with the NCR ranger armor from fallout 1st). Bethesda has outright refused to add these "exclusive skins" to the atomic shop for no reason. Benny's suit from fallout new vegas was included in one of these exclusive twitch prime bundles. I wasn't able to get it and the one time I'm willing to pay money for a cosmetic they refuse. They are locking in game content behind hurdles that shouldn't even exist. Now they have an upcoming season pass, which sounds a lot like a battle pass from fortnite. They even banned players who were making mods (not the cheating kind), reporting exploits, and even banned a player that made a map tool.

    Although this is a multiplayer game, you will be all by yourself most of the time. Honestly, this should have just been an expansion for fallout 4. All the problems with this game both in game and pr disaster make me not want to play it at all and I'm infuriated as I was pre-orderer and an original B.E.T.A tester. The game ran better at beta than it did at launch.

    Bethesda handled fallout 76 so poorly that I decided not to buy Doom Eternal (they added denuvo and screwed over Mick Gordon) so my suspicions were ultimately confirmed. I have no faith in bethesda at this point and currently have no intentions of buying Elder Scrolls 6.

    Also, Bethesda being stubborn and forcing players to use their terrible launcher was dumb, and they have since "corrected" this by putting it on steam. But guess what, atoms don't transfer to steam because screw you. At least they allowed some of their purchases to have a free copy on steam. (as if that would make up for all the other terrible things they've done)

    Players also wanted to have private servers, they wanted to host it themselves. Nope, you gotta pay bethesda to do it for you.

I understand putting your own kick into it after you bought it from interplay and obsidian. But to take it this far and to butcher the franchise is just disgusting. F3 was good, FNV (interplay) was good, F4 was good, where did Bethesda go wrong? By not listening to the community and trying to shovel money offers into their community at an insane amount, more than EA. Wish you could hit a rewind button and go back to when Fallout had some glory left in it or some shred of story and character development. Fallout tactics is more Canon than this turd in a dress.     To be honest I only tried it because the game is in GamePass.

    And wow what an Adventure, I played for a few hours and I was invisible the whole time, no enemy atacked me... 10/10 Bethesda

I fell in love watching fallout lore videos such as Storyteller. Then for fallout 4 to come along and **** all over everything that pisses me off. THEN THIS GAME SOMEHOW MANAGES TO BE FALLOUT $ BUT 50 TIMES WORSE. Brotherhood and Enclave somehow in the game. They removed Jet apparently. So they listening, and by listening i mean listened to one thing and said **** you guys enjoy ur favorite series being !ucked to death to the rest.     I love the rest of the fallout series, but this one is a buggy mess. I lost tons of items I worked hard to grind to glitched storage, and the pay to win just ruined the game for me.

    While you CAN play this game solo, it is not a solo game. Everything in this game is built around group play whether you like it or not. Most quest at start can be done solo but once you start to get to the later part you NEED to be in a group. You also need to plan your build WAY in advance before you even start the game, one mistake and your build is no good at all. You have to grind for HOURS in hopes that you just get lucky to get a piece of gear they may work for your build (And you almost never will) So your best bet is to track said gear down online and pay CASH for it. Also, Daily Ops is a joke! Any type of stealth build WILL NOT WORK. Burnt through a few hundred caps of aid items, most of my gear gear gets broken ( from 200% condition) and spent more time dead than running the Op. Just can not stand playing this game any more.

    On the plus side, the Atomic Shop works fine for taking your money....................    … Expand

    Not my type of game at all. I have completed all the previous iterations of the franchise and enjoyed every one. But not this. There are plenty of problems but for me the compulsory PvP is the killer. I play several online multiplayer games, none of which force PvP in the way that Fallout 76 does.

    The game isn't absolute trash, but it is all about collecting trash. Sadly collecting stuff isn't possible in this game since you will reach the stash limit within the first few hours of the game and you will struggle with the carry weight limit for the rest of the game.

    Fa schifo, pieno di bug che non ti permettono neanche di andare avanti nelle missioni. Arrivando alla fine della missione principale mi sono ritrovato a ripetere di dungeon 3 volte trovando 3 bug diversi impedendomi di proseguire.
    Bethesda anziché trovare una soluzione e correggere questi errori ha scritto una guida sul loro sito, che sorpresa sorpresa, anche la guida è sbagliata! Patetici.

    Who in the world at Bethesda took a look at this game and thought, "hmm, this can be released to the public". It's bottom line disgusting and horrible. I am a fan of the Fallout franchise and its lore, but this just disgraced me. Everything about it is a mess, except for the graphics, which are 1% better than Fallout 4's graphics. Worst. Game. Ever.

    This game is by far the biggest trash of 2018. This game supposed to be a grinder where you farm items but the stash in the game is a joke. It is full in about 2 hours. If you want an unlimited stash for trash items then you have to pay a monthly fee. This game is a pure scam.

    I don't think I need to justify this reveiw with my experience , just watch one of the many hour long documentaries following the fall of Bethesda and you will know exactly why this game is a terrible fail of a cash grab that milks the fan base and treats them like money cattle rather than consumers. If you value your time or money STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME

    Boring, broken, made by a **** company past its' heyday, staff crunching, lies, false advertising, broken promises, in-game store with overpriced goods... should I go on? This game is a sanity killer and needs to be thrown into the depths of obscurity. At least No Mans' Sky fixed their game and improved it.

    I love the Fallout series of games, and had high hopes for Fallout 76 and I was very disappointed in it, I can not recommend it to anyone to play it. From the very first seconds, the game tries to hook the player with something, but this is unsuccessful.

    No storyline, no plot, no NPCs, none of the stuff that made the rest of the fallit series so successful ull. Do not buy this game. You will be disappointed.

    Fallout 76 represents a big disappointment and the lowest point of the series so far. Riddled with bugs, repetitive and dull gameplay, nonexistent story and outdated graphics, it fails as a both multiplayer and singleplayer experience for fans and newcomers alike.

    Miracles do happen once in a while and No Man’s Sky proved that sometimes it is possible to get back on your feet even after a terrible failure. Right now though Fallout 76 is botched spectacularly on so many levels that even talking about this game is a waste of time. [01/2019, p.46]
