    This game will not be patched to a good game. It may patch to actually work but its so bad there is no saving it. It's as if they took Bioshock 1 and remade it taking out all the good stuff and putting it on a server so 12 year olds can scream at you on open mic.

    The combat is lame. Just walk backwards shooting slow weapons at boring enemies. The world is empty and boring. The story    This game will not be patched to a good game. The story (what of it there is) being delivered entirely by tapes and no NPCs shows Bethesda was grossly out of touch with the realities of online games and how people behave. I never cared about the little story there was and no average gamer will. Its just a task oriented game and as a survival game its one of the worst.

    There is no reward for playing this game. You will get nothing out of it and while they may fix the bugs they will need to completely rewrite it to actually make it good and they are not going to do that. Wait for another title.

    Hmm not convinced this is the direction they should be going. i voice the same sentiment as others, there are just certain things that make Fallout a Fallout out game and there are very few left from the originals (ie F1, F2, F3) I want to like this but at this point it looks like a tired old money grab, much like current release of Just Cause 4.     After completing every main and side quest and doing most of the dailies and events I can safely say that I have wasted my time. The entire experience was littered with bugs ranging from minor visual glitches the whole way to bugs that stop you from dealing damage, cause your own gun to kill you, make the game drop to 5 fps, and just rampant crashing and server disconnects.

The entire experience was littered with bugs ranging from minor visual glitches the whole way to bugs that stop you from dealing damage, cause your own gun to kill you, make the game drop to 5 fps, and just rampant crashing and server disconnects.

    This is the most despicable and pitiful AAA release I have ever played in my entire life. The only way this would be impressive is if it was a mod because that's what it feels like. It feels like something that a few modders spent a year doing and felt it was in a good enough state to release. If it was just a mod everyone would love it! But this is a AAA release by Bethesda themselves and it is essentially a big middle finger to the players.

    Reasons not to buy this game:

    1: Gameplay loop that gets incredibly dull long before finishing the game.

    2: PvP is the worst I've ever seen in any big multiplayer release that has PvP. It's clear that no one knew how to make a multiplayer game at Bethesda.

    3. Rampant bugs. I firmly believe that it is one hundred percent impossible to play for just thirty minutes without running into a bug minor or major.

    If you are on the fence about buying this game, think in your head how it would feel to hang yourself whilst vomiting and spewing diarrhea everywhere, that is the experience of playing this game.    … Expand

    As for the game itself, its crap. Terrible AI, buggy, the world feels bland and uninteresting with    Bethesda still using the same game engine since F3 at least, albeit polished and updated, it really shows its age A LOT.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. - thousand years old game engine with awful graphic;
    - can't even finish a freakin' mission without getting disconnected from the "server";
    - you can travel only by sneaking and walking like an idiot 'cuz since the camp stash only capable to hold 600 units at max, you carry around 600-800 extra weight with yourself;
    - when a three times as much higher lvl player than you just kills you for fun and to steal all your junks, you literally can't do a sh**t against it;
    - people trying to do quests around but when a much higher lvl player gets close enough then you're f***ked up 'cuz whatever you do you can't kill the newly spawned higher lvl enemies;
    - you walk around the world and see a locked locker or something... you thing there could be some useful junk in there but when you lockpick it there's nothing you get but wanted level which equals of someone will rob you;
    - to help someone in need? pff hell no! thanks assh****s!;
    - someone wants some pvp fun ... okay ... the first time you die, you won't find them again 'cuz they're already offline! bulls***t!;
    - you're in a cave for like an hour already and just getting to the rare elit at the end, then BOOm disconnected from the server... after you came back you see that everything respawned and you're at the entrance to the cave!

    fck this game! and you ask money for this s***t! you should give people money to play this crap!    … Expand

    Ok we've seen Bethesda releasing buged games before but this really breaks everything. This is the worst game in terms of bugs u can imagine. Apart from all other controversies this is simply insulting. I hounlestly was looking forward to this but Bethesda has lost me as a customer. Forever!!!

    I was excited, streamed it, promoted it. Since launch can not stream and play. If i do decide to play the game crashes every 20 minutes. I have a good rig, so its not the issue. ive reached level 110 mainly due to being amused playing with my friends, but at this point ive uninstalled and i doubt ill play again.

    A game so terrible that bethesda has gone all out to deny refunds. i was encouraged by the help employee i emailed that i should be refunded if the graphical issue i had was still occurring by time of launch.
    needless to say the person i talked to lied and i am now being told i will not receive a refund.

    Very buggy game it crashes a lot,camp disappears,low fps,Story is boring,there is no text chat,world feels very empty without NPCs. only good things are; a lot of new weapons and fusion cores in power armor last longer.

Of course, with Bethesda, bugs are expected, but this level of bugginess--things that absolutely should not have made it into the release-- is unacceptable. My melee weapons don't work about 20% of the time (swing, hit, no damage?). Aggro is busted in many situations. Plenty of moonwalking corpses that slideThis game has been a large disappointment.     On top of that, even with an "anti-griefing" interface, or whatever, you still will be griefed by other players. Sure, if you don't attack back, you won't take much for damage, but you can still be trapped in doorways by players and attacked until you run out of healing items. ON TOP of that, PVP scaling is broken. If you decide to smack another player who's half your level but annoying the pants off of you, they'll two shot you with a weaker weapon. How pleasant for them. There needs to be a function to completely opt out of PVP. It's not for everyone. Don't even get me started on the lack of a push to talk function.

    The blocking feature is also unfortunately not useful. I was griefed by players and needed to finish something in the area--blocking them did not stop them until they killed me. There is no in-game ticket or GM to report players to.

    The story is very flat and boring as well. There are some fun things (workshops, C.A.M.P--even though that is bugged and frustrating, hunger/thirst, events--some are broken, the importance of loot, etc...). The perk system is interesting to say the least. But you can't respec if you find out your playstyle is bugged--and most online games with some sort of talent system allow you to respec for currency..

    Overall, it's a big sad NO. Don't pay full price for a beta. Don't buy this if it isn't on sale. You will be griefed. You will scrap your favorite weapon if the screen lags a bit. You will be ready to go to your C.A.M.P. to put all your found loot away--only to discover that someone logged in while you were exploring, and their camp replaced yours.

    Don't buy this game. It is an unfinished piece of trash.

    Only glitches, horrible visuals, bugs, high price and total disappointment. Graphical side isn't the most important, there is just nothing to do, it's not an rpg, and not even an MMO, it's not even an online shooter, it's weak attempt to make an online mod for fallout 3 in my opinion. Very bad, i would say it's incredibly bad, nobody expected that, no no no.

    This game used the same engine, assets, and coding, of Fallout 4. With all that in mind - they knowingly - released a game with NO Story line, NO NPC's, NO combat system (they removed VATS) - there is nothing left to say. Oh! They added online play, and a lot of microtransactions to the game.

    After the 1.0.2.3 patch, many, MANY more bugs were introduced along with timed game crashes. You come in the game, need to take off your clothes, quit the game, restart the game, and then put your clothes back on just to enjoy the perks of your clothes. That sounds sweet!

    Oh! Would you like to claim and build at a workshop? Yes!     Bethesda is currently on notice. Do not buy any games from them and do not pre-order anything they put out until you're 100% certain that what you're getting is worth what you're paying for.

    It also disgusts me to see positive reviews form "official" critics. If anyone needs proof that there are biased corrupt critics, take a look at the ones who were too scared to go any lower than a 5.0

    quite honestly the worst fallout ever played. its entirely dominated by a few players who do nothing but play/glitch to reach high levels and farm explosive weapons. if you try to ever use the workshop system be prepared for players who will come and destroy everything and rob you of caps simultaneously.

    This game for me is the definition of bad. I really can't put it any other way, from the gameplay to the world almost everything finds a way to get under the player's skin and infuriate them. Here are some of those things that stuck out and ultimately destroyed my experience:

    Deserted wasteland- The world itself is actually pretty good with plenty of unique places to go and explore, but it seems like Bethesda went for quantity over quality. Nearly every location is empty and void to any life. There are holo tapes and notes that go over the location's past, but each location on the map feels identical just with a new coat of paint.

    Gameplay- It's the worst. Each gun feels the same with semi-auto being the only real choice because of scarce ammo and the fact they do far more damage. You can only run for 10 seconds before you have to slow down. There are some cool enemies to fight, but you won't be fighting them because the game wants you to fight either the scorch, robots, feral ghouls, or super mutants, all of which are the same. There is honestly no redeeming qualities for the gameplay.

    The story and how it's told - The story is really weak. It has something to do with scorch(zombies), but that is all I could make of it. It's told in really boring holo tapes and computer screens and only those.

    The inventory - This is going to be hard to explain, but basically, for every hour of play you need to spend 5 minutes looking at a horrible UI trying to optimize your carry capacity. 5 minutes might not sound like a lot, but it slowly becomes harder as the game expects you to carry at least twice what you can normally carry.

    Overall: should you buy this game? No, even if you are someone that really enjoys these types of games, do not buy this game right now. There has already been a 20$ price reduction and currently, the game isn't that stable. If the game drops to 20$ and is bug-free, I still wouldn't recommend this game; but at that point, it's up to you. Just keep in mind Bethesda is not allowing for refunds.    … Expand

    Game is very glitchy almost unplayable. Keeps kicking players off servers and if you are involved in a longer mission you must start over. Bethesda did a complete job of screwing up a game that has been top notch for many years. Todd Howard who is in charge of this mess should be fired.

    It's not the game they say ... No real pvp, no MMO mechanism (no corp, only 24 player on map) a lot of bugs. Very bad game, 7 day or Empyrion make better for small price. No communications or bad one. Lots of limitations, very boring. I waste my time to save my weigth 2 times by minutes.

    - Sub-par, clunky, annoying gameplay, that cannot stand on it's own, when all the "good stuff" (RPG/NPC/STORY/FACTIONS/CHOICES) are missing.

    - 90% reused assets from FO4, which would probably make this game the biggest asset flip in history, even FO4's DLCs had far more new assets... it's insane;

    - Lore retcons, that make no sense, and completely destroy previous established lore, either because they were too lazy to create something new/interesting, or because of their complete CREATIVE BANCRUPCY.

    - Most of the things you do in this game, DOESN'T MAKE SENSE (setting/immersion/gameplay/interactions wise). ZERO effort and common sense.

    - Atrocious graphics, which thanks to their REGRESSIVE "new lighting/rendering update", look worse than FO4, which with it's mostly accurate PBR rendering looked very decent, ESPECIALLY for a BGS game. There is tons of art inconsistency, that they tried to hide with insane amount of postprocessing "smear", and Todd Rays, which looks embarrassing.

    - Insanely unoptimized game, but that's mainly the engine's fault, that doesn't even support things like LODs for meshes/models, LIKE ANY OTHER MODERN ENGINE, which results in huge performance hit, despite their low-quality/outdated 3D assets. This is completely unacceptable in 2018.

    - One of the last objectively good features from FO4, that had the potential to be the ONLY thing that would make me play this game - THE BUILDING/SETTLEMENT system, is COMPLETELY NERFED, probably because of the engine in a MP environment. Where in other games like Conan Exiles, you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, without ANY limitations. The building system in 76 is simply pathetic, and not worth even doing, and with that pretty much goes away the ONLY possible interesting thing/selling point.

    - And the best thing, which is the final nail in the coffin full of fan tears and broken hearts, that is mainly caused by their LAZYNESS with their choice not to put the effort (read: spend money) to put NPCs:

    Z O M B I E S W I T H G U N S!

    This game is an insult, to the franchise, to fans, to casual(unsuspecting) gamers looking for a MP survival game, to people's intelligence, to people's money, TO EVERYTHING. It's poor in EVERY POSSIBLE ASPECT. Nothing redeemable. NOTHING. And it's FULL PRICE $60 + insulting MICROTRANSACTIONS in the face of the atomic store, which is insultingly the most polished "feature" in the game.

I played them all, even the spin-offs, the terrible PlayStation 2 one too. I've seen Fallout at its best and its worst, yet never in my wildest dreams would I expect this.

    The game is glitchy, something everyone forgives Bethesda every, single time. Not this time, not in a multiplayer only game. A balanced, fair and smooth experience is necessary for an online game! This thing isn't ready for public consumption, not for that price, not when it's comparable to all other survival games on Steam in terms of gameplay and worse than them in terms of stability and connectivity! This shouldn't have been released to the public for another 2-3 years of intense development! And all that with a patch that's bigger than the game!? What were you thinking Bethesda!?

    This, being a survival game and not an RPG, means that there's no NPCs, no story, no investment. A truly dead and barren wasteland and that, my friends, means that the game is boring. Walk, shoot, gather, walk, shoot, gather... nothing more, nothing less. Oh, "but it's fun with friends", I hear you saying - well, so was watching "The Room" and playing "Ride to Hell: Retribution". Everything is fun with friends because, at the very worst, misery loves company.

    But wait, there's more... because the same old, busted, barely working game engine is yet again back with all of the glory of the stumbling old, drunk man reliving his youth. The lengths to which developers try to obfuscate the engine's limitations include varying quality of textures and the most distracting visual depth effect I have ever seen! This, being an online game, means that modders won't come to fix it this time as modding will probably be a heavily monitored aspect of the game, Bethesda's paid mods service will probably be the only way to make this game playable. Oh, the framerate is also locked, not that it matters when the game hasn't been optimised at all.

    And I hear you saying "don't like it, don't play it". Fine. I want my money back, but Bethesda won't give me my money back! The game's not on Steam, their launcher is a broken mess as well (it can delete the game files or not allow you to uninstall the game at all) and their refund policy takes so damn long just for you to hear "no"... This game is a disaster. Bethesda is just Bethesda, they publish great games but make garbage themselves lately. Don't waste your money on this one.    … Expand

    3) Probably the worst PC port of any fallout game to date in terms of controls (which says a lot considering the state fallout 3 was in when that came out). Functionality of the mouse including left click has been severely reduced compared to previous installments, and instead of being able to navigate certain stuff with the mouse, you now have to do it with awkward keybinds. The weapon/aid wheel is pretty cool though.

    4) when trying to use the voice system, it always just ended with people hammering at their keyboards not knowing it was on, also had a few people just singing to themselves in french...    … Expand

    I paid a lot of money for a game I can't play after collecting loot that I can't quite use yet but want to keep! If you love Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 don't bother with this until they manage to fix the storage issues or allow us to have a personal server with a controllable storage system setting.

    Fallout 76 is a shallow, repetitive and incredibly grind heavy experience that cynically takes everything I love about the Fallout series, guts it of all its interesting mechanics and crams the husk of what's left into a generic, boring open world survival multiplayer experience.

    I would honestly say that MineCraft is more fun than 76 and that's after growing tired of it half a decade ago. So let's go into more detail on why I feel this way.

    The setting: 76 takes the setting from the core series where you play as a vault dweller emerging into a post-apocalyptic world full of nasty enemies and... Not much else. In fact the enemies are for the most part either completely broken or ridiculously easy, but I'll come back to that. The world is actually the best thing about the game and why I'm opting to give a 1 over a zero. There's a lot of vibrant colours and enjoyable scenery, but this is marred heavily by the overall experience.

    Another huge issue is the lack of NPCs and quests being doled out in MMO form. The world falls flat when there's no interesting characters to interact with or build the plot.

    The combat: Enemies in 76 are a joke. No really. Not only are they either too easy or overpowered by the game deciding to rubber band them around while you try to land a solid hit, but they're also very heavily populated meaning it's impossible to explore at your own pace and enjoy lore through tapes and terminals. There were times where I would enter a building after clearing a zone only to find that the corpses I just made have all disappeared and re-spawned around me.

    VATS is a janky mess of a feature which, being in real-time now is not only unintuitive and slow to use, but it's also incredibly unreliably. The most use I could find for it is to snap on to target before aiming manually. It also makes targeting limbs incredibly difficult with feedback on crippling enemies being near non-existent compared to past entries

    The multiplayer experience: At any time, in any place, you can and will be sent all number of duel requests from other players in the rare chance that you actually get to meet one outside of area event quests. Not only is this incredibly annoying, but it also deals a tiny amount of damage. Not enough to be threatening, but if you've just finished up[ a big fight and you're out of stims, well, you're not gonna have a lot of fun.

    Players can stalk you anywhere and issue these requests at any time. Like when you're trying to read those terminal entries, or sitting through the 20 second sleeping animations. This makes for some immersion shattering experiences that will leave you at best, mildly annoyed. There's also the fact that you can bait players into your suspended platforms in your camp and remove the floor from underneath them, downing them with fall damage and popping their heads with one bullet to get credit for the kill. This never happened to me, but the fact that it can is just stupid. Oh and good luck finding people with the same quest as you for some co-op action.

    Overall: Fallout 76 is a cynical attempt at milking the Fallout fanbase for all it's worth. There are micro transactions aplenty with the in-game store with all of the purchasable items being purely cosmetic. I wouldn't take much issue with this if the game itself wasn't a shambling mess of what its predecessors were before it.

    The combat is boring and often tedious, enemies are far too common, player griefing is prevalent despite anti-griefing measures and the plot is incredibly hard to enjoy in any capacity.

    When it was announced me and my friends would often joke about running into 13 year old kids screaming profanities about our mother as they did everything they could to annoy us into quitting. This didn't happen, but the game itself felt equally offensive just by playing it. It plays like a reanimated corpse of Fallout 4 with none of the charm.

    Wenn schon gewollt wenig Leben in der Welt ist , dann macht sie wenigstens schön. Ich Renne ungern in einer Welt herum die mich optisch nicht überzeugt. Auch wenn Grafik nicht alles ist... Das Gameplay und die tolle Musik können mich hier nicht überzeugen dem Spiel eine gute Bewertung zu geben. Ich empfand es schlicht und einfach als langweilig. Hinzu kommt dass mich eure tausend texte und Audios überfluteten.... Konnte mich einfach nicht wirklich darauf einlassen und war nicht so gefesselt wie bei Spielen wie beispielsweise FARCRY, Assasins Creed, the Witcher...
    50-60 FPS bei einer 1080 und einer echt besch. ausehenden engine sind ebenfalls nicht zeitgemäß
    Bitte nehmt doch das was man euch bei Fallout 4 auch sagte auch an.

This game is an early access game for 60 dollars but you even have engine bugs from Fallout 4 from 3 years ago this game i going to be the next Elder Scrolls Online with the DLC and bugs.     I've played Fallout games since the original and I have to say "disappointing" comes to mind on this one. I didn't expect much, since multiplayer and Fallout dont belong in the same sentence, but this is even worse than I was prepared for. Some key issues that I feel stand out:

    1. The game is a bug riddled mess. The engine is outdated and is an unholy frankenstein-ian monster cobbled together that was never meant to do what Bethesda is trying to make it do. Frankly, its not good at anything. Its neither pretty, nor plays smoothly, nor is the combat engaging or fun. Enemies warp around and get stuck on objects and terrain constantly and you'll miss shots constantly even when aiming center of mass because the game has just decided you shouldn't be able to win. Its unacceptable for a "AAA" quality game studio to still be using this garbage. Stop.

    2. Your stash, the ONLY place you can store items, is limited to 400 lbs of equip. That may sound like a lot, but you'll fill it within a couple hours of gameplay. The sheer amount of junk needed to accomplish any amount of crafting will fill it up and leave you no space left for ammo, armor, weapons, meds, food, or anything else. Its unacceptable. The ENTIRE point of Bethesda-style sandbox RPG's is "grab everything" and they've broken that. I'm stunned.

    3. Base building, which is supposed to be one of the big draws of the game, is busted. Because of the small build area, and a ridiculously low cap on the size of your base, you'll never accomplish anything interesting. Just like the stash, its too limited in scope to matter. You'll wind up building 4 walls and a roof and put your stash inside and never visit it again. Also, bugged to **** as usual.

    4. The overhauled leveling/perk system is boring and anemic. I feel no more powerful at 25 than I did at 1. Perks are all mostly meaningless and give some insignificant bonus to a very specific situation that wont help you at all.

    5. Enemies are either so overwhelmingly powerful you cannot possibly face them (I suppose intended to be attacked as part of a group, lol more on that later) or so weak you could knock them over with a feather.

    6. The multiplayer. The map is so huge you'll never meet anyone doing the same thing you are or at your level. You aren't going to find people interested in grouping because FALLOUT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY and nobody wants to do it. Its a multiplayer single player game.

    7. PVP doesn't matter. Theres no reason to do it. You can "duel" by shooting another person and if they shoot back you fight. Man, what a design.

    8. Story doesn't exist. I wrote better stories in my 5th grade english class. There are no npc's, no dialogue, just a big open empty world for you to explore to find more bugs.

    If you love love love Fallout and just have to experience it, go into it prepared to be let down. I've played for 4 days now and I'd rather be playing Red Dead 2, an actual open world game that doesn't blow.    … Expand

    I pre-ordered this at the last minute and missed out on the beta. So on launch day I started the game, created a new character. Ran around the vault for 10-15 minutes with nothing to do. I exited the vault and the usual wow Graphics, I've finally made it out.!!
    3 Hours or so into the game I just stared at my Pc monitor wondering what this is all about. Bugs/Glitches even Heavy breathing    I pre-ordered this at the last minute and missed out on the beta. So on launch day I started the game, created a new character. Ran around the vault for 10-15 minutes with nothing to do. I exited the vault and the usual wow Graphics, I've finally made it out.!!
    3 Hours or so into the game I just stared at my Pc monitor wondering what this is all about. Bugs/Glitches even Heavy breathing because of a non existant push to talk system, Not even a chat system. The 'BASIC' online game systems 'Do Not Exist'. PVP I'll leave you to google how stupid that is.

    Now I've been lucky enough to have grown up with the computer industry starting with a zx80, zx81, zxSpectrum, amiga, commodore , etc etc Games like 'Attic Attack, JetSetWilly & Sabre wolf.. etc.. These were part of my childhood and I really enjoyed them.

    I was just 'UTTERLY' ''BORED'' so I decided to start a new character and try again, and guess what? I WAS bored 'AGAIN' This is an Alpha release at best not full AAA.
    I made a decision to ask for a refund (which I didn't think I would get on the 17th Nov) it was approved and I have a full refund.

    This is a SHOCKING game and should never have been released in the state it is atm. Todd should be sacked for releasing this. DO NOT BUY IT. You will be so disappointed folks.

There is so much potential here, but I've had my main quest line completely disappear from my log. I've been fighting stuff my level only to have 8 enemies appear that are 20+ levels higher than me, stomping me into the ground and essentially "camping" 2 hours worth of looted goods that I can't get back. After many attempts to push through, these bugs have completely ruined my taste for this game. And when things are working, there really isn't that much to do. And I don't care if they do plan to add stuff in the future. For $60, I expect a polished and entertaining experience of at least 4-6 hours. This has been endless hours of bugs, boredom and paranoia that something twice your level will jump out randomly and kill you. They get 1 point for the little work they did put into it and hopefully the start of something better. They lose 4 points for the bugs and 5 points for being greedy and making us pay for their extended beta test.… Expand

    My first Fallout was Fallout 4 on PS4 and i liked it very well. The Story-line and the little puzzles. I know that Fallout 76 is more for multiplayer. But that the content for singleplayer is so low, i dont expect that. And after a couple of hours the game is boring. So for now i play Fallout 4 again on PC and i like it very well again.     The Game is absolutely disappointing. All users should get refunded 90% of the purchase price, because except for a large empty world with occasional mobs the player gets nothing. Too much promised and almost nothing delivered.
    Never pre-order a Bethesda game, that's what i've learned.

    FPS capped, lack of FOV, same engine as skyrim, recycled fallout 4 assets, horrible graphics, horrible pvp system, lack of raiding, no NPCs, lack of monster variety, monster AI is rudimentary at best, game riddled with bugs, expensive, the list continues.

A proper fight between players basically requires that they both agree to combat: if you shoot someone, they'll take nearly no damage unless and until they return fire. This isn't a bad concept because it means less griefing, but it also means no real ambushing or surprise attacks: it's more of a pistols at dawn arrangement. I am over level 55 and have set the nuke off with my party and now don't have any urge to play from that 'great launcher' anymore... Each holotape becomes as dull as the first and its got to a point where I just lost interest being attacked as I try read why everyone is questionably dead and I just have to accept it baby but don't worry they got their memoirs on the desk for you ;) The laughable bugs I come across have become anything but funny and quite sad at this point. Fallout has lost its soul and quite clearly the cash grab element is coming to light. What are players supposed to do in this world? Journalists and YouTubers alike praised the environmental story telling yet 85% of the locations are barren and regurgitated with spawning ferals popping out of the air as you find a corner of the workshop to cry in. I started asking my party 'what do we do now then?' and its just lets go... ummm.... We could ..... Try that cave again ... Yeah I am gonna scrap this stuff... i hate being over-encumbered ... My stash box is full ... Take a picture of this bug ... Probably going to log out now guys ... i have great fear that this will lose its core player base very quickly as people reach the end of their aimless quest lines and I don't blame them. To save a title like this Bethesda would have to completely overhaul the game and start listening to what their consumers love about their worlds. Is it going to happen. No it is not. Myself and many others have taken the financial hit on this and I thinks its a bust. Please invest your money in a company that listens to you and delivers a quality product. I have seen the price drop already quite considerably on key sites and this just reflects the market value depreciating at a rapid pace. There is no point in ranting about this game, the whole internet knows about what's wrong with this game. I just want to warn the potential buyers to not buy this game, especially not rn. I would suggest waiting a good couple of months for the bugs to be fixed (which BethesdaI wouldn't even play this game if this was free let alone pay 60$ but I did even though everyone warned me not to.     Fallout is a RPG journey. This was not. An empty world, devoid of NPCs, lots of bugs and micro transaction filled money grab. It got old very quick. Pick up junk here do a bland quest there, made the game seem soulless. And to top it off, this time they don't have the modding community to fix all the bugs or make it a better game.

    A terrible multiplayer in modern standards that by it self would be worth the score of 3/10 when being generous, but considering that the game was released by such huge studio with 60$ price tag is ridiculous. Turn back and go play Rust instead. You won't miss anything and save your money.

I've tried to keep an open mind to the multiplayer too and have positively interacted with other players but it causes mobs to spawn while you try to wrench out what little game plot that you can fromI've been a fallout fan for over 15-18 years.     I can't believe I'm saying this but this Fallout game sucks and it doesn't deserve to be part of the franchise and as far as I am concerned it never will be. I wish I could drop a nuke on 76 and wipe it out of existence completely. I would happy to have a Fallout multiplayer experience just not this one.

    Fallout 76 represents a big disappointment and the lowest point of the series so far. Riddled with bugs, repetitive and dull gameplay, nonexistent story and outdated graphics, it fails as a both multiplayer and singleplayer experience for fans and newcomers alike.

    Miracles do happen once in a while and No Man’s Sky proved that sometimes it is possible to get back on your feet even after a terrible failure. Right now though Fallout 76 is botched spectacularly on so many levels that even talking about this game is a waste of time. [01/2019, p.46]
