    Could the dev team fix the barbarian class?
    They are weak and pathetic, Please buff the barbarian class and stop nerfing it.
    And stop slowing down the game it is an extremely lazy and greedy way just to retain players.

    The game is fun to play for a bit but when you get to the end game it is awful.
    CONS:
    Farming renoun, having to do the side quests and having to repick the way points again is stupid. On-death effects are stupid. Resistances don't work. A lot of mechanics that are frustrating, not fun to play and unfair. You can't scroll and you only see 5m around your character. I've died so many    The game is fun to play for a bit but when you get to the end game it is awful.

    Stash is limited to a few items and gets cluttered by gems and seasonal items.
    The game could be a lot better and most of the stuff wrong with the game is easy to fix but they don't even try to mime that they are trying to fix it. (This is not really true, they seem to be trying to fix it, hopefully they will do it and I can enjoy the game better)
    I've got my money's worth out of the game at about 50h played, fun enough in the beginning but everything goes to hell really fast after lvl 70-80 and becomes boring as hell and the problems with the game are ever more frustrating and not fun.
    I play games to have fun and frustration is not fun. I've wasted about 15h now just to farm renown. I would actually prefer to have to do the campain again and the reward should be 100% renown by the end of the campain. This should be a choice. Forcing yourself to do side quests just to farm renown is simply retarded. I'm not sure who thought of this was a good idea but I pity the fool.

    Update: I've decided to update my review and give it a 6/10. The game can still be fun if you don't take it too seriously and I've already gotten the $ back from it. I've played it about 120h now and I've enjoyed it most of the time.    … Expand

    Takes all the things D3 did well (eventually) and ignores them. After you complete the campaign, you will find yourself running the same content for minimal reward. The loot and itemisation is terrible. I haven't found an upgrade for one item for over 40 hours of play, and that's for a level 50 item, not an end game item. No sets, limited uniques, most of which are useless. No filters toTakes all the things D3 did well (eventually) and ignores them. Touted as having 100s of dungeons, but theres only 15 different bosses at the end (not that any of them make any difference as they're just mobs with larger health pools)
    If I hadn't been stupid enough to already have paid for Season 1, I would not be playing. I will end up doing what I did with Diablo 3, and coming back in a couple of years when they've sorted out an unfinished mess.

    Fell asleep 5mins after entered a dungeon....not to mention the 1.1 patch which destroyed my gaming experience with sorcerer.

    Baldur's gate 3 I'm coming!!

    Absolutely ruined the game with the latest patch…. The end game sucks even worse than it did. Season 1 is an absolute joke. I created an account on metacritic just to write this, that should tell you how much I loathe the new season and updates. Can’t wait for BG3 though!

    Good campaign and well built game personally had very fee bugs at all . Main ranged rogue but very difficult to change spec on the fly which is the modern norm for some games. Not many quality of life features which drops the score a bit for me.     Just meh. I give it a solid 5. Not total garbage like the other reviews show, but nothing to write home about. Gameplay is fun early on. Building a character and getting through the story is fun. Once you hit wt4 though there isn't really anything to do or any point in advancing. No fun boss fights or endgame like in POE. Just grinding the same dungeons and helltides for better gearJust meh. Upgrade to world IV tier is so hard because THERE IS NO WEAPON UPGRADES about 60LVL and monster LVL in pass dungeon is 70 but boss is 73-5?!?!?! WTF blizzard did you play your games or what?!?!?!     I accepted a quest and then there were no more enemies on the map, after that it crashed, it's not the first bug of the day, **** update.

    The game is so laggy that it is unplayable.
    The settings are all wrong, and it is clear that the developers do not understand the game.
    The game is full of ridiculous bugs that are clearly the result of bad programming.
    The developers seem to be more interested in making the game as difficult as possible than in making it fun.

    I really tried to like this being a D3 Barb leaderboard veteran.
    Level scaling sucks, Feels like constant chore instead of fun.
    Finished the battle pass rewards at lvl 64 and have no incentive to finish season journey as the rewards are nothing, Didn't even make it to tier 4 and none of the gear I needed for druid dropped, So it was nothing but struggle every encounter.

Yeah, the graphics may look all flashy and sht, but the class balance is a total trainwreck, endgame content is a snooze-fest, and they keep nerfing and fiddling with everything like it's their favorite pastime. They make Diablo 4 look like the holy grail, but it's a massive letdown! All it doesDang it, Blizzard just won't stop trying to dictate how the heck we should play the damn game!     They spoil the entire story in the opening cinematic by telling you how it ends. Then you just chase Lilith around the entire game, always a step behind. Your character sees her in the flesh once at the end of Act 2 and the only other time your character meets Lilith is when you kill her.

    Beyond that, there is literally no endgame. There are like 50 dungeons that you do in World Tier 1 at Level 1. And the "endgame" is running those exact same dungeons at a higher level.    … Expand

    The game development team and the planning group don't even play this game. They removed the leveling mechanism from Diablo 2 and 3. The seasonal content is extremely boring. The rewards from the battle pass are all garbage. The skins in the store are ugly and very expensive.

    The standard game was okay until the season 1 launch where they decided to nerf all aspects and made the game super grinding. Don't wait for sale guys, wait for path of exiles 2

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
