    Ever wonder what it looks like when a game company/developers are out of touch with their player base? Look no further.

    These developers are balancing their game against streamers who basically play it for a living. The game has no real end-game content once you hit World Tier 4, and instead of addressing that in any decent way their solution is to nerf everything so the progression    Ever wonder what it looks like when a game company/developers are out of touch with their player base?     The game has no real end-game content once you hit World Tier 4, and instead of addressing that in any decent way their solution is to nerf everything so the progression is closer to Everquest 1, where it was basically a full-time job to reach end-game.

    That's right, the solution to having no late-game content is to make it take so long to get here most people will likely never reach it.

    It's very clear the developers are not players in the game.

    Patch 1.1 gutted the game, made the game go way too slow. Nerfed everything that was fun about the game into oblivion.

    - You have to have open like 10 **** chrome tabs to find what you need - Trading only rare items which you can only sell/buy guess where... on a **** discord or find people on social media??????? **** WHY Why is everything else account bound? Diablo 2 has none of this features and it just okey nobody    - No world chat

    - Aspects are piece of trash. Half of them are not interesting or useless and the good ones just got nerfed to hell.
    - But don't worry we made some new aspect for you to enjoy like 20-40 % movement speed when you moving AWAY from slowed or chilled enemies.... oh my god is this a **** joke?
    - No kill count
    - No gold count on pick up
    - No counter of destroyed things (There is a achievement for it) but i can't see how many things i destroyed... yep
    - No counter for killing spree
    - You have to make a new characters to stash your items... in cause you don't want to scrap/sell your stuff cause why the **** not
    - No stash search bar.. when pretty much every item looks the same yeah it so much fun to spend 20 minutes searching for what you need.
    - nearly a hundred and **** fifty dungeons but everyone of them feels the same good job
    - Yeah and for anyone wondering in the endgame you only doing like 3 of them cause the rest is a **** garbage without mobs ZERO EXP and loot just a waste of time.
    - Hellties are good only for gear once you get decent items its a waste of time again
    - Tree of Whispers is a joke droping level 15 sigils for T3 on 90+ levels... ??? XDDDD
    - Boss battles are about who can kill it faster and say im **** tired of this bull**** i quit (It's like 3 bosses all the time)
    - I had a hard time to understand which stats are better is it overpower ? is it vulnerable? is it critical damage? is it psychical damage or all damage... come on guys
    - Where are runes you promised?
    - Where is some kind of dmg dummy ?
    - Why do i have tab for materials but not for gems ? And why you can only stack them to 50 pieces????
    - It's currently patched but why cap materials to only 10k?
    - You can respect all skills at once but not paragons... why? You have to click every single one of them to start again holy **** **** that's just so depresing.

    - You have to go to 3rd party websites to check when is going to be another WB, Helltide or Legion... why?
    - Im not a fan of the one item one slot thing. I know it's hard to code this i made my own inventory in my own game but how does it make sense to have 50kg double hand to take same space as a ring.. why is it have to be so simplified?
    - It's pretty much pointless to go out of town and do anything besides ND and now it's even worse, much worse. You don't get any EXP nor a better loot.
    - Talking about loot is it just my or is this crap so boring? How can rare item be rare when it drops 20 thousand **** times with the same boring stats over and over again. Look at Diablo 2. You drop white **** shield with only +15 enhanced defense and who knows it's good af. No you drop "rare" click 5 times add aspec there you go. You little crafter theres your achievement. This just make me so sad, so depresing. It's like for people with 20 IQ to feel good.
    - Side quests besides the "story" ones are just boring. pretty much everybody skips them and the "reward" is a just a pathetic so bad you want to kill yourself after. Yeah, there you go, you spent 20 minutes doing this now you can have 1 **** VEILED CRYSTAL. xDDDD What are you smoking guys
    - The amount of gold for stat rolls on items can get to astronomical numbers to the point when its just better to drop the item again
    - Cursed shrines/chests/wells can be real good or another crackhead story. Sometimes it's rly good, so much mobs you can't see **** over all the effects etc. And sometimes it will spawn 3 demons and 1 sucubus. You would expect to spawn more mobs in higher waves. No next time you get 3 demons and 2 sucubus. I don't know what to say. People who designed this should be fired. I skip these, waste of time.
    - Resource Burn affix is so OP i actualy started thinking it's out of season april fools joke. Litery one mob can drain your mana/essence etc. to absolute zero and you cant doo ****
    - Cobwebs are invisible have fun getting stuck every 5 meters
    - F you im done

    + - I enjoyed the story with my friends it was actualy fun and it was fun to get to like lvl 70+ but after that its just a stupid grind doing the same ND again and again and finding gear with +1% better stats...
    + Paragon tree is ok

    Blizz is trying to make and Loot based ARPG MMO, without rewarding loot system. An ARPG without action. A MMO without a social system.

    It tries to be everything, and fails on every aspect.

    All the devs do is make the game worse with each minor or major update. They irregularly listen to their customer base, and frequently nerf everything else then buff a few things to balance the game.

    Blizzard has completely lost touch with what Diablo was about. There are no awesome Uniques to chase like in D2, there is no speed clearing content like D3. With patch 1.1 they have slowly begun to introduce mobile game mechanics that are designed to keep you in game as long as possible, and whats more baffling is why? Your microtransaction store is trash, there's nothing there worth anyBlizzard has completely lost touch with what Diablo was about.     Once you get to level 60, the game dies off. The latest patch 1.1 doesn't address anything wrong with the game. Just get the mount to work right.    D4 is half baked.     Was a solid 6/10 before the patch. This latest patch has ruined the game. I’m fine with nerfing the things that are bugged, but at least buff everything else so we have real options for our builds.

    Blizzard devs... So you nerf the game across the board for everyone that's enjoying it making painfully slow progress even slower, so that you can sell your battle pass and offer the bonuses that were once a part of the game? You guys are trash.

    If you played Diablo 3 and stopped playing nearly immediately once they started nerfing everything into the ground, you'll have the same feelings on D4. The developers do not care what we think is fun. I knew buying this was risky, and this confirmation means I'm done with Blizzard as a company.

    I was playing D4 since the 1st of June and for the first month I had really good fun, and after leveling 1 char at level 100, they introduced patch 1.0.4 which seemed to introduce minor buffs and a ton of meaningful fixes. After that I leveled up 2 more chars to level 100 and I was starting to loose interest, so I had my hopes in season 1, but after seeing what they did with patch 1.1.0aI was playing D4 since the 1st of June and for the first month I had really good fun, and after leveling 1 char at level 100, they introduced patch 1.0.4 which seemed to introduce minor buffs and a ton of meaningful fixes. After that I leveled up 2 more chars to level 100 and I was starting to loose interest, so I had my hopes in season 1, but after seeing what they did with patch 1.1.0a (18th of July) I lost all my confidence to the Diablo 4 dev team. Even if they were to revert it I am not even sure I would come back to invest my time in a game so poorly managed.… Expand

    Zero QOL Changes for the Positive in the update. Stash space limited, rerolls insanely expensive and tedious, xp grind up exponentially. All of this to cover for a lack of content.

Not only that, but they have decided to make it their mission to charge us boat loads of money to make sure that we have no fun. They lure us in with promises and shining objects and then yank those away and beat us with sticks over and over again while siphoning as much cash from us as they can.     Between all the stuttering, lagging and bugs I somehow managed to get 2 characters to level 100. I really liked this game and I figured they’d fix those issues and address some balancing issues like with the Sorc for example. Instead of fixing any real issue they basically ruined this game. The builds I was using for my rogue/barb are no longer viable and they didn’t use any exploits. SoBetween all the stuttering, lagging and bugs I somehow managed to get 2 characters to level 100. I really liked this game and I figured they’d fix those issues and address some balancing issues like with the Sorc for example. Instead of fixing any real issue they basically ruined this game. The builds I was using for my rogue/barb are no longer viable and they didn’t use any exploits. So I’m being punished for the .00001 percentage of people who have taken advantages of bugs in your game. You’re punishing the rest of the player base. Helltides used to be one of the only things that brought players together and it felt like a team effort. Now you have to farm 35 minutes to open a mystery chest that will drop 3 sacred legendaries even though you’re freaking level 100. Wow such “risk reward”. I’m done with this game and I’ll probably never trust another blizzard game in the future. Wtf is actually wrong with you developers lmfao… Expand

    Don’t trust blizzard with your time, they only care about profits and metrics. Your time investment in your characters will be a waste as they continue to nerf popular and fun builds into the dirt in future patches.

Balance issues, with poor design causing very few viable builds to emerge. Bugs with cross play, controller support, joining friend groups. Community/feedback completely    No endgame to speak of.
    Multiplayer content is non-existing for an online only game.

    $90 USD Price point for an unfinished game with many QOL issues and bad implementation.
    Balance issues, with poor design causing very few viable builds to emerge.
    Bugs with cross play, controller support, joining friend groups.
    Community/feedback completely ignored by devs.
    Devs prioritizing cosmetics and battle pass over actual QOL.

    Level cap is 100. Loot progression is so bad post level 70 you may spend 8+ hours of play without finding a single piece of gear upgrade. Rerolling gear stats is so expensive, you're unable to effectively fish for better stats with the loot you find.

    Level 80 unique more often than not drop with worse stats than the level 60 version of the same unique you've been wearing for 20 levels. Its rare you get a better version than what you're using.

    Rather than create endgame activities the devs have slowed XP gain and have also ratcheted back defensive and offensive stats on gear in an attempt to make the slow grind even slower with no payoff at later levels.

    I have no idea how a huge game studio, with 20+ years making games in this genre, with so much public beta feedback, can ignore the player base and screw up this bad.    … Expand

The developers claim this will be fixed in season 2. There are paragon glyphs for sorcerer that have no board you can possibly put them on to receive the additional bonus (winter).     Look no further than Diablo 4 where you can grind the same dungeon over and over for loot to sell to vendors so you can afford to reroll one stat on one item for 30 million gold!     I am level 100 since multiply weeks and the patch really felt like a massive downgrade in everything. I don´t understand why these massive changes needed to be done where things like 40% have been adjusted - these are heavily game designing differences. That i could deal with but now with the latest patch with nerfs to damage and making it easier to die and xp gains are nerfed its a grind fest.     I can't play this game at all. The colors are not passing any accessibility guidelines and my eyes are burning after 30 minutes. No map overlay also adds huge eye strain on my wide monitor. I can't even finish campaign because of it.

It is done to squeeze money form you. 100 Euro for a game that is not finished and full of micro transactions (Battle pass). On the box there should be a sticker "No fun allowed".     If they had any idea none of those problems would even exist in the beta.

    The gameplay is a grindy boring slow chore.
    It takes 120-150 hours to max level.
    Out of which after beating campaign you will spend all the time rerunning one and the same boring Nightmare dungeons, with repetitive tasks like free 7 prisoners, bring 3 tablets and kill 1 meaningless boss.
    The "120" dungeons are all the same.
    Itemization is so poor, that half of the stats that come on equipment are essentially worthless.
    There is not enough stash space to make more than 1 character, with a hard limit of 10 characters.
    Inventory size is a joke.
    Wherever the players find a way to play this broken game, the devs come (who seemingly never played their own game) and nerf/cut the fun down.    … Expand

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
