    It's as if a loot box achieved sentience and decided that it wanted to create a game to engender the fall of human civilization and the rise of the loot boxes.

    If the game were a sound, it would the spectral cries of dead games developers spinning in their graves.

    The game can runs on any config, from low end Intel chipset to high end graphic card but it is not as nice as a dioablo III game.
    You can start and games looks good, if you don't experience huges lags or savage disconnection you can tgoes on also if you don't pay all the time there is no way to play. You will know the meaning of farming for nothing at all.

    The game is fun to play but as everybody states the microtransactions are extremely predatory. I guess they are trying to get back what they've lost since 2018 when the game had a major failure announcement and their stocks went down 10%. What's the best way to get that back? Let's leech our player base and make they're pockets empty. I'm not spending a penny on this game.

    I've been a fan of Diablo games since D2 ate up countless hours of free time and introduced me to online gaming fun, so of course I absolutely hate this piece of trash.

    I gave this game a score of zero for these reasons: 1. They took the series most solid mechanic (grinding loot) and made it pointless. 2. The monetization.     I gave this game a score of zero for these reasons:
    1. They took the series most solid mechanic (grinding loot) and made it pointless.
    2. The monetization. In roundabout way, it's tied to progressing everything in the game, and it's awful.
    3. The convoluted throttling mechanics that halt character building progress to what must be the optimal rate for generating in-app purchase revenue.
    4. The lack of response from Blizzard to their community (if you don't count semantical tweets about whether or not P2W items are considered gear).

    It would not be a surprise to see in-game advertising showing up soon. Ads seem to be the only shameless cash-grab tactic that Blizzard hasn't yet implemented. Maybe ads were deemed too risky? Players might try a different game while waiting weeks for the RNG bonuses you need for a particular item.

    Maybe I'm just butt-hurt about how badly Blizzard has bastardized one of the most beloved series I've grown up with. I'll admit, I did enjoy the first couple of hours of this game. I would've probably bought this game, if turned out to be more than what it actually is - a rigged mobile gacha app, rife with deceptive business practices under a bit of pretty wrapping paper.

    Terrible predatory gambling machine. Blizzard sold out their Diablo intellectual property to the actual denizens of hell. I can't believe they released this game to drive attention to Diablo IV. Really what a shame on NetEase and shame on Blizzard. These are the vultures of humanity that need to be stopped by legislation and laws. I likely have lost faith in Diablo IV because of this fiasco.

    The game sounds a lot like the rpgs of the year 2000, and back then there were better ones. For a game nowadays it has no graphics, no gameplay, the missions are empty and meaningless. It's a game without any difference, it only takes the name of a famous franchise. Not to mention the scandals involving in-game purchases and modifications to benefit those who pay.

    - Impossibly low odds without spending $20 per loot box(I mean rift)

    - Still impossibly low odds even if you do spend $20 per rift. A streamer spent $10,000 without getting a single 5 start gem(of which you need a ton to have BiS end game).

    - Oh yeah, and that $110,000 number is just for ONE CHARACTER, and the items are not account bound. If you want multiple alts(one of the greatest joys of past diablo games), you could easily have to spend $1,000,000 with bad luck to try and BiS all of your characters.

    Even the gameplay itself has major issues

    - No progression whatsoever, as mobs level up equally with you, so your character never gets stronger at all. All it is is bigger numbers, but the experience is exactly the same.    … Expand

    I was never optimistic about this game when it was first announced at blizzcon as a pure mobile instalment, but morbid curiosity caught my interest. I managed to play the game up to level 30 as a wizard and found the pc adapted controllers clunky and had many experiences with complete loss of control of my character resulting in near deaths. In the end I stopped playing purely because of the monetization and have been following the headlines since and seen other problems with the game play such as a 2 hour allotted slot for dedicated pvp and the likes.

    Rumours and speculations surrounding Diablo IV's development heading down a similar path is also disconcerting and I am very much leaning against the side of the fence that does not have blizzard on it if things keep progressing the way they have with immortal's release and the mounting controversy surrounding Activision Blizzard who have gone from being a stellar developer (Pre Activision) and has now been on a steady decline riddled with lawsuits and corruption, much like the coveted game franchise they are now trying to keep alive.    … Expand

Ive hit many walls where I have to grind a level, or grind rifts and tbh the game is just too easy. The social aspect of the game is nice however the actual design is a huge let down. I'm so old that the original Diablo was an astonishing technical achievement when I first got it to play on a Pentium 2, and I still have my original CDROM and paper manuals I'm saving for posterity. I've spent hundreds of hours playing every Diablo game. I have Level 70 Diablo III characters for every class. What about Immortal? I enjoyed the solo campaign story of Immortal, andI'm old. I enjoyed the solo campaign story of Immortal, and some of the other unique story elements, whenever I could get past, around or through the grinding omni-present micro-transactions. I took one character to Level 60 in Immortal and finished the solo campaign. I can't be bothered to count them, but there are more than half a dozen different types of tokens or currencies you use to upgrade, so it's a giant confusing mess which of a dozen different vendors sell which tokens for which upgrades. It really does feel like Activision licensed the Diablo IP to Ayn Rand Objectivists, who gleefully monetized every possible aspect of the game, sucking the life and joy out of the gameplay. There's even an in-game version of the telemarketer calling to tell me that my car warranty has expired. You get constant notifications, like the original leveling concept, access to new skills, and so forth, but some of which are "sales" for various packages of the many in-game tokens, available for a limited time! If you love Diablo, this game is prostitution of one of the greatest gaming genres and IP in the history of computer games in the name of profit. If you've never played Diablo, for the love of all human joy and happiness wait until Diablo IV next year. Shame!… Expand

    I recommend playing any other game before downloading this one.

If Blizzard would now change the tactics to something good like "equal rights for players", the Pay2Win Players would then come off second best, which is also not fair.

    You will not be able to get magic find without oayojg money.
    There is no end game content other than gambling your money and doing the same quests over and over again to get experience.
    There is no bug reports! Just a forum for posting.
    This is not Diablo at all. This is a blatant cash grab to prey apon people's wallets.
    People have spent over 6000 dollars and still not gotten five star gems.

Ahora se que no les interesa sacar buenos juegos y hacer buen dinero, ahora solo interesa 100% el dinero, ni siquiera 1% de que la gente se divierta. Para ser honesto, el juego es divertido hasta lvl 60, despues de eso tenes dos opciones: le metes unos 10.000 usd y sos una ballena (lo cual lo podria hacer divertido) o desinstalas, por que es IMPOSIBLE aparecer en algun ranking o tener alguna posibilidad de ser un jugador competitivo contra las ballenas.
    Ademas de todo lo dicho anteriormente, me da pena ver el nivel de monetizacion depredatoria que desarrollaron... que es eso de pagar 10.000 usd y no obtener una gema de 5 estrellas, o que un jugador FREE si tuviera la suerte de obtener una gema decente no podria venderla en el marketplace del juego, pero alguien que pago por esa gema si podria ???? Estan locos, necesitas unos 50 años para poder sacar una gema de 5 estrellas, y si te sale una que no te sirve te la metes en la oscuridad por que ni siquiera te dejan venderla. Los que pagan por las gemas, si pueden.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
