    I woke up this morning ready to try Diablo immortal. It was so great that it made my head explode! I made it to level 30 and then had to grind like an insane person while they kept asking for money. Joking aside this was a bad game, the people who are playing have no sense of community, if you don't pay money everybody looks down on you, and overall it is just loot boxes with extraI woke up this morning ready to try Diablo immortal. This is a good way to burn your community in hellfire while rubbing your hands together for the people willing to play line your pockets. Those who were willing to pay to play will one day wake up and realize that you screwed them. You think that they will be there next time? Seriously, what is your problem blizzard?     As a fan from the original series (I still have the original installation CD), I couldn't wait for Diablo Immortal. As soon as I finished my first dungeon and was presented with an option to buy something with real money as a "reward" for finishing it, deep down I immediately knew something was awry. I understand free-to-play still needs to make money, but that's not a "reward". Many free-to-play games have cosmetic item shops, but this is straight up pay-to-win and Blizzard flaunts it like they're proud of it. It's absolutely disappointing that this game turned out to be such huge blemish for the franchise.… Expand

    I’ve played the game f2p and got to paragon 20. Throughout my time playing, I did have fun but there were a lot of problems that quickly extinguished that. It’s impossible to get legendary gems without spending money. You don’t get enough regular gems and even if you do they don’t help that much. It’s really hard to queue into a Helliquary Raid and to get into an active warband (neverI’ve played the game f2p and got to paragon 20. Throughout my time playing, I did have fun but there were a lot of problems that quickly extinguished that. It’s impossible to get legendary gems without spending money. You don’t get enough regular gems and even if you do they don’t help that much. It’s really hard to queue into a Helliquary Raid and to get into an active warband (never happened to me) for the extra rewards. The pvp is extremely pay to win and only those who have paid thousands have a positive KD. The zone events are one of the best ways to get good gear and they only show up for like 15 minutes per couple of days. But above all else, what makes this a completely terrible game is that throughout my whole experience, even when my character gets stronger, I’m not killing enemies any quicker than when I started the game. I’m still dieing just as easily as when I started. When you get to later stages of the game which is where I got to, the game also becomes extremely boring because you’re doing the same content every day. If you like the top down, action rpg genre that Diablo Immortal is, then Path of Exile is a way better choice. It has way more content than Diablo Immortal and it’s f2p.… Expand

    I was hoping that this was going to be an exception because it was a mobile game, but this is what blizzard wants. They are using beloved ips to suck money out of players. OW2, D4 - they are more complete games but they learned from D Immortal. Blizzard doesn't care about players, the executives will do whatever they can to get your money.

(They even removed the auction market, even tho you were not forced or had disadvantages when not buying. It was just a way to sell your progress or to trade.     You can grind your way up to a certain point without much issue, but eventually you'll realize that it's taking much, much longer to level up. They make it take significantly longer to level after you've already invested a certain amount of time on your character to make you more likely to give in to impatience and buy experience boosts to finally reach endgame.

    Buying in-game currency will often give you more than enough to buy something you want, while leaving you just a little bit short of buying something else. That premium currency will go to waste unless you buy just a little bit more so you can spend it, right?

    Any time you kill a boss you're "rewarded" with the opportunity to pay for better drops. Normally there's a small chance of a boss dropping a decent item, as you'd expect of the kind of game this is supposed to be, but if you pay enough real money you can guarantee upwards of a dozen legendary items on the spot.

    With every action you take, the game constantly reminds you of how much more you could be getting out of it if you can spare the cash. I wouldn't call the game pay-to-play, so much as play-to-pay.

    I'm conflicted as to whether I should check the "Contains spoilers" box. I haven't spoiled any story, for sure, but that's only because there really isn't much to this game other than its collection of disgustingly predatory marketing practices designed to wear you down to the point of cracking open and emptying your wallet.    … Expand

    After 75 hours of play, this game is nothing but pay cash money to win, it is a money grab, shame the publishers will never learn from this lame monetization system and will eventually fail.
    I'm not supporting this game anymore and uninstalled it minutes ago.

    I went into this game blind not looking at any reviews or news extra finished the game and reached paragon 30 after a hard weeks grind some days I didn't even receive 1 legendary drop I play about 14 hours a day and now a few moments ago uninstalled the game the amount of paywalls is so bad tried PVP did win the first match but had a player with all 5/5 gems on our team with a huge KDI went into this game blind not looking at any reviews or news extra finished the game and reached paragon 30 after a hard weeks grind some days I didn't even receive 1 legendary drop I play about 14 hours a day and now a few moments ago uninstalled the game the amount of paywalls is so bad tried PVP did win the first match but had a player with all 5/5 gems on our team with a huge KD difference no deaths sad to see this when I was exited for the game downloading path of exiles again where the grind is hard but nothing is behind a paywall… Expand

    need 19683 normal gems for 1 lv 10, at 5 normal gems per day, more 10 years to get 1 normal gem, just play the campaign and uninstall it makes no sense to farm or pay.

    The combat is so fun and addictive that you will forget to look at your HP bar. The graphics are nice and they work well with a newer PC and monitor. But.. There is a bug where key NPCs like Deckard Cain have no voice/ speech and this has been known in the forums for about a year with nothing done about it. After 50 levels of cruising though the game you begin being slaughtered instantly and all of the time once you reach mount zavain and beyond that. Hundreds of people talk about this game being a cash grab. While there is a great story and preservation and continuation of lore it does seem like this is the case. I’m not sure why they came out with a death knight class because crusaders look like death knights or shadow knights even when you equip the recommended gear. The game feels really cozy and Cain and friends from Diablo 2 are in it, there is also a bit of comic relief for example “killing king leoric seems to always work”… Expand

    I played the game. I became immortal, dominating my server with my clan. Then I quit.
    The game is nothing MTX, poor performance, and forcing you to offer your soul to the game.

    I regret the time and money of my life I poured into this game, believing it would be a good Diablo experience. It was not.

    Only play this game if you have USD50k and enjoy P2W gaming.

    After a year, still the PC version is trash. I'm done, finished. Don't care if it's mobile too, it's not going to improve the games content and the fact Blizzard being so damn greedy and constantly asking for money for ridiculous in-game items.

    I happened to start playing not long ago after BK class was released. And also after I played D4 recently.
    Overall, it's 30-50 hours of pretty fun PvE gameplay with an Ok main story and cool bosses until the level cap and almost without any grind (maybe 3-5 hours total only). At this point, I'm a casual F2P daily bounty player with 70+ paragon levels and capable of killing    Important:

    2 merits I'd like to point out are:
    - The ability to change your class starting from level 35 - 1 time per 24h (gear is swapped to a proper one) with the possibility of reverting if you didn't like it. So no alts are needed, really.
    - You don't need to re-enchant, re-gem your gear when you equip a new piece - the game suggests you to apply all enchants of the previous item to a new one.

    P.S. I guess it's more playable now than on release. Hope this helps you to decide to play.    … Expand

    Why was it necessary to port the game to a PC, if there are a lot of bugs in it, the E button on a PC generally works every 20 times opening doors or closets. Character dialogues on the floor of the screen. Blizzard is the most miserable company.

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
