    Diablo Immortal uses many, if not all and more, of the most blatant and egregious monetization practices to extract money from the you. It is an embarrassment that this game left development with the way it is currently monetized.

    Unfortunately, Blizzard is merely a shadow of its former self. This title has proven that the corporation favors predatory practices and P2W and is no longer the Blizz we grew up with. This **** is disappointing.

    I play about 5-7 hours a day. Paragon 23 and I have had a blast. My gripe is that the gap of power due to it's transaction system is killing it for me. I am f2p. I have not spent a dime and I am grateful for a free, fun mobile game. I am sad that this will eventually edge those like me out of the game and pvp. I dont want to be #1, I just want to not be gated by all the weird caps andI play about 5-7 hours a day. Paragon 23 and I have had a blast.     I am not supporting Blizzard's sacrifizing of the Diablo brand for a quick cash grab. This game is atrocious with all the ways it tries to manipulate its players to spend thousands of cash. Imagine you being a parent of a child that spends all their allowance to play this Diablo casino game

Whoever designed this stupid gemception feature should be hung up, shot, gutted, quartered, and run over by a Buick. Slotting gems on gems? Gems better than actual equipment? Even in early levels, they attempt to addict the meek and easily manipulated players by main story level gating to do meaningless chores for miniature upgrades (or waste thousands $ for the normal gaming experience, obviously). Not even worth the bother for the main story, as that's also ridiculously stretched out being miles wide, but barely an inch in-depth, and later on it takes ~6mins before hitting yet another level gate. Jesus Christ.

    The game is quite enjoyable at first glance, but due to predatory monetization it cannot be rated higher than 0. It's a pity because I have been a fan of the Diablo series since the first game in 1997. Hopefully more countries will enact laws banning gaming machines devouring your money under the guise of gaming.

    Crashed while creating character. Not a clean port to PC. I hate games that require online connections and this one requires it so they can ensure any fun you have costs $$$.

    When it came out that I can play Diablo in Mobile & PC, i thought this was a game changer. Indeed, I could play this game on PC, log out (close the game) and lay down on my bed and play it on my phone right before I sleep.
    I loved it. But, that's all I could love about this game. Campaign was good and    P2W, yea yea yea... not even gonna mention about that because enough is enough.
    When it came out that I can play Diablo in Mobile & PC, i thought this was a game changer. Indeed, I could play this game on PC, log out (close the game) and lay down on my bed and play it on my phone right before I sleep.

    I loved it.

    But, that's all I could love about this game. Campaign was good and fun. I leveled up to 60. And then I lost the interest playing the game.

    Here is why
    1. [No innovative game play] I started feeling like it's just as same Diablo II and III. Rifts and instances looked the same. Game play is... pretty much the same as D3... got bored so fast.

    2. [No New Character] All same characters with very similar skills. Come on, there are many of us who's been playing Diablo for at least 10+ years. I am not interested playing the same Diablo with better graphics, I want to experience new & improved game play & characters.

    If I were a Diablo game developer, I would've added World of Warcraft into Diablo,

    It just simply boils down to pure disappointment. The harassment to make you buy things from the shop is just sad, and it completely ruins any enjoyment from the fairly decent gameplay. It's just evident, on the nose greed without any regard for the players, only for our credit cards. A sad day indeed.

    The first diablo was one of the first games that hooked me deeply. Still highly sentimental about good old Tristram.
    Diablo 2 was an excellent product - I continued to play it - even today. Literally failed a few college courses back in the day because of all the time spent of of it - instead of studying like I should have. Purchased the recent remastered edition - with no regrets.     Diablo 3 was also great. It is literally the game that I re - purchased on most platforms - xbox, ps4 and PC. Including the expansion - where it was available.

    Which is what makes this review so excruciatingly hard... All and all - this is a really fun game. Hats off to the development team. I see the love, and the effort. Same general look + feel as diablo 2 and 3 - it really is the "Diablo on the phone" experience I've been hoping for. Simplified. Succinct. Smooth. Distilled - I really do love the actual game. And art. And spells. it is obvious that you've learned from previous Diablo iterations - and extracted the essence of it within this game.

    Shame on the marketing team + whomever decided on the capitalization strategy. I've played WoW for well over a decade but stopped recently. Blizzard used to set the standard for gaming; now they're just shamelessly exploitative; and are blatantly not committed to their original player base. I've played WoW for over a decade, too, but didn't play the last patch - because it sucks; and ain't worth my time. This feels like betrayal; and makes me not want to play anything Blizzard related - almost as a matter of principle.

    If you are a casual player who don't mind to be stuck at the mid levels - this is an excellent game. If you are a serious gamer - I'd suggest you stay away from this unless you're willing to drop some serious cash (as in - a couple of grand) - to purchase crests and gems etc. Here's the thing though - even if you are a skilled player even that won't help - because, as far as I can tell, there is no "upper ceiling" for buying loot boxes. There is no way where I would say "Gee; I dropped 10 grand on my Necromancer. I guess I am powerful enough now". I don't mind paying for services and products. Even the occasional boost and cosmetic. But this? Sorry, but no. I'm not spending my free time to become fodder for whomever has the shiniest credit card.

    For people who do not whish to have their childhood memories ruined by this blatant excuse for gambling / gaming addiction extortion of a product - I suggest you rather don't play it at all. Do you think Diablo 4 will be any different? Or the new WoW Expansion? This is it, boys and girls. This is the new Blizzard. I'm hearing good things about Final Fantasy 15. Lost Ark is also doing good - also pay to win but at least somewhat limited.    … Expand

I was amongst the first 2000 Beta Players for WoW Vanilla back in the day. You could say I loved this company, and I would see myself biased to give them a positive review...

    Firstly, it is a very bad mobile port, it's impossible to bind an attack button that doesn't move your character instead of attacking when your cursor isn't exactly on the enemy, game constantly (every few minutes) causes connection issues, often crashes for no apparent reason, sometimes doesn't even launch (deleting patch folder fixes it for me but not for many others), randomly your skills and attacks stop working for no reason and the issues go on

    The game, as soon as you finish the tutorial an reach lvl 60, limits you in pretty much anything you can do, except for spending money for progress, gear obtained without paying is not tradable while paid gear is, some of these limits force players into toxic behaviour (kicking people who don't/can't contribute enough crests in raids, excluding people who don't pay or don't spend enough)

    The game is filled with psychological manipulation precisely designed to get people addicted to spending money for advantage or even just to get rewards they already earned, information is purposefully obfuscated to hide important things from players

    The amount of time or money needed to finish a single character build at launch (without unevitable power creep in future content) was calculated to about 40 years (yes, four decades) of daily play or roughly 250-500 thousand usd. For a single build, that is not tradable to your other characters.

    This game is not only abusive casino disguised in Diablo's clothing, it's a threat to the future of gaming.

    A half decent game locked behind terrible monetisation. why blizzard why!! I played up until paragon 10 and the pay wall became blatantly obvious. After some reading on the subject I became absolutely disgusted by their predatory mtx system. This game and the company really needs to be boycotted.

    Nothing that made the Diablo Endgame is there, you pay for EVERYTHING or you get scraps.
    All this made me do is reinstall Diablo 3 and actually have fun. Buy Diablo 3 if you like the gameplay.

    I usually don't mind microtransactions in my game but in the case of diablo immortal it is a game ruiner; not only its MTX are Pay-2-Win but it is also very abusive and anti-consumer, you either have to pay $110,00 or play for nearly a decade to max out ONE character.
    What a waste of good gameplay.

What cannot be ignored however is the overarching and overbearing multiple avenues of predatory monetisation throughout the entire experience. Avoid like the plague.

    I will say that the voice acting, gameplay & story were solid. It has all the blizzard polish but none of the heart. The dev team    Made it to lvl 54 & spent $40 before I truly realized the monetization model set in place.     Poorly made port from phones. Lots of movement bugs. No anti-cheat. Inventory saves only when server save you manually, so you can loose your items from disconnect.

    i have spend alot of time in the game, im currently paragon 16 and i can definetly see the paywall, first of all they lock everything behind a paywall, there is a soft cap on amount of legendaries you can farm a day, amount of paragons you can farm a day, and even the amount of items you can farm .. but if you pay you will bypass most of this because resonance is the most important stat,i have spend alot of time in the game, im currently paragon 16 and i can definetly see the paywall, first of all they lock everything behind a paywall, there is a soft cap on amount of legendaries you can farm a day, amount of paragons you can farm a day, and even the amount of items you can farm .. but if you pay you will bypass most of this because resonance is the most important stat, it can literally improve your gear to get 4x up arrows which is the only way to improve your progress. stats doesnt matter,

    you can have willpower as a barb and vitality on every piece, but if its an up arrow its still better than fortitude str because endgame is scaled behind combat power which you get by increasing gearscore.. which is being increased after awhile ONLY with resonance.. this is a disaster. i have never been more disgraced. and now they wanna add things into diablo 4? a game that COSTS money??! and is NOT a mobile game...    … Expand

    uma parte essencial da evoluçao no jogo é as gemas lendarias, que o unico jeito é fazendo fenda ancian com brasoes lendarios, mas esses brasoes lendarios sao muito raros de se conseguir a nao ser que pague, e mesmo com ele ainda nao tem garantia de vim a gema que voce quer, se ao menos nao tivesse que pagar pra ter tal item seria aceitavel o drop raro, enfim FULL PAY TO WIN

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
