    Creating a free-to-play game on mobile and boosting the installs is just pathetic to me.

    The monetizations and free-to-play blocks should be unacceptable in the gaming community and I hope the community gives its answer by making Blizzard the worst in Metacritic in the world.

    you start the game off thinking it might be fun but at level 35 you hit a brick wall I cant imagine what it would be like at higher levels don't really care.
    They want so much money from you i am surprised that they don't charge you per minute of play time

    Graphics on PC is okayish but not great.
    If you want Diablo on PC just go with Diablo 3 or wait for Diablo 4. This game is not worth to be played on PC. ( due to monetisation i would say it is not worth to be played at all )

    Diablo Immortal is a disgusting p2w game with the sole goal of milking players as much as possible. Had the potential to be the diablo3 for mobile, but got ruined by blizzard being greedy.

    The game started out "okay" on PC. However it quickly got super buggy and freezing, or stopping. This game is a "beta" for PC. so I mean okay I get it. BUT considering how much this game is predatory due to the money transactions your game can crash and burn after opening rifts that used real money.
    I haven't bought anything in the game since it's ridiculous. Uninstalled it

    Very disappointed with this game, I wanted to play it, but it is really discouraging knowing I will never ever ever catch up to people who pay to play the game. a lot of things are time-gated so you can only do, or have a chance at, x amount of things per day/month. I refuse to open my wallet at all for Blizzard, this is a straight up cash grab of a game, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

    The actual game itself is not too bad. Most issues are just basic oversights when porting to PC from mobile, things like "Tap to X", menus not being scrollable and so on.     With the release of diablo immortal they are no longer going downhill. They already freaking cratered through the ground. How can you say this is a "fully fledged diablo experience" and you can't buy items with real money? Diablo is about random dungeons where you actually get to explore a little, not have the same exact map layouts with magical footsteps telling you exactly where to go. Diablo is about farming what you want, when you want, for as long as you want, with whoever you want, even solo. With the trash game you just made you force people to do specific tasks every day in order to progress to where it feels like a job, you are forced to party and be in the same open world as others, and if you farm too much the drops and xp get nerfed so hard it becomes almost pointless to continue.

    And you can 100% buy items. Just look at the difference in rewards on the paid battle pass vs the free one, the difference between a 10 legendary crest run vs a no crest run, and all the crap you can buy on the marketplace. You guys used to be about the players and making quality games. You had the chance to make a truly great mobile game and completely screwed it up. Nobody said mobile games have to be "free to play" with all these predatory **** microtransactions that take all the fun out of the game. You could have charged $50, added some cosmetics and quality of life microtransactions, and had a pretty damn good mobile game that most diablo fans would buy.     Remember all those garbage MMO's that tried to copy WoW. This is a crappy Lost Ark clone. Not sure why they didn't just make a diablo game. I'm not even touching on the Cash Shop, just the fundamental gameplay is clunky. Almost like gameplay second to cash shop.. there i got it out of my system.

Neither of those statements are true.
    Various news outlets have paraded around the number that it would take US$110,000.00 to max out a character. This is not true. The nature of this game and the high levels of random chance means that it could take significantly more money than even that. The free-to-play experience is deeply unfun as well. Blizzard own the patent to a matchmaking algorithm that intentionally matches free-to-play players with players who have spent money in an attempt to convince people to spend money on increasing their power. This is one of the plethora of ways that Diablo Immortal will attempt to milk money out of its players. Other methods include requiring players to open the pay-to-win shop in order to claim free rewards, a battle pass with multiple paid tiers, and forcing players to repeatedly dismiss prompts that clutter the screen requesting $0.99 fo +800% VALUE on some pack of currencies and cosmetics. Speaking of currencies, there are too many to list. This is an intentional tactic to confuse players and separate fools from their money.
    In response to criticism that the game was pay-to-win, Blizzard implemented a mechanic where once every 1.5 weeks a player can craft a random gem (the primary way that characters gain strength) for free. Assuming that a free-to-play player takes advantage of this feature it will still take approximately 54 years to gain a 5* gem.
    This game takes pay-to-win to a whole new level but the same amount of time and care was not put into the gameplay experience. Assets are reused from Diablo 3, enemies are balanced with a specific amount of money-spending in mind so they are unreasonably difficult for free-to-play players but also stupefyingly easy for players who pay.

    - one time purchase (800% extra value that means nothing) - buying orbs (you will always be 5 orbs short until you bulk buy them) - battle pass (two of them) - monthly sub (miss a day, miss a valuable reward at the end) For Free2Pay    Absolutely Immoral.

    For Free2Pay players: after getting to engame, you will hit a wall where everything is timegated and secret caps are put everywhere. What isn't limited however, is paying.
    I thought I could casually enjoy this game, but with each day I played this game, I felt more sick. I can go play every other generic chineese rpg title.

    The sanctity of this place has been fouled. After level 60 you cannot progress because everything is capped. Dust is capped, battle pass is capped, legendary drops are capped. If you buy item at auction you cannot sell it anymore. There is no other way to progress than swiping credit card. If you don't, you cannot keep up to the server and find people to play.

It feels like the very same cultists were in charge of Diablo Immortal: it has superficial resemblance to the real thing, but it lacks any real substance. [Issue#260, p.36]

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
