    There's absolutely no grind in this game. XP comes extremely easily, if you actually play the game. Seems like bunch of haters came up with some lie and are trying to lower AC Valhalla user score or something. Well good luck...

    For me personally, the best Assassin after the Black Flag. But the best does not mean good. The gameplay is absolutely the same from the beginning to the end of the game, after 20 hours it becomes extremely boring, and it is still far from the end.

    UPD After the last update - trash for donate.

I gate that level of hypocrisy, when they release the game without all additional payments, and later add it, after all reviews, metascores and game awards are finished. Good job ubisoft. I won't buy any of your new game even if it looks ok on release. Because later you might start charging for opening options or saving the game progress

    Patch v.1.1 ruined the whole game balance. Autoleveling was added to the game, and PAID boosts were added to the game store. Ubisoft doesn't change. How greedy you are. Your fans will eventually turn their backs on you

    It was a good game until recently. With patch 1.1 - the balance is terrible, ruining the whole game, forcing the player to pay money. I bought the game for $ 60, you cannot extort more money from me to buy experience for a broken balance. This is blatant theft and fraud. Ubisoft scammers.

    Very good, i had fun with valhalla for hours, it is much better and more advanced than odyssey, it’s worth it! But is not perfect at all, the game as a bad performance (but in overall it runs well enough) and some really bad bugs.

    Well made game, my favorite part might be just free roaming in England and just exploring, climbing, all that stuff. Story is decent as well, way better than Odyssey.

    I'm 20 hours into game right now and really enjoy it so far. Haven't encountered any bugs, runs just fine. Longer review later, but i wanted to give my early expressions because seems like some haters are trying to lower this user score with 0's and i can't stand something like that. Good game so far.

    This beautiful game literally made this awful year so much better. I was waiting for it since April and it's finally here. I was expecting decent game, but it still managed to surprise me with tons of different locations and secret areas.

    At least this game works perfectly unlike this Cybertrash 2077 that was promoted as next generation of open world games. AC Valhalla is very good game and using any booster is absolutely optional. You get xp everywhere, there absolutely no need to use them.

Минусы: абсолютно никакой стелс, отсутствие наград за скрытый захват крепостей, невнятные сеты брони и их плюшки, отсутствие быстрого переключения луков, несоответствие деталей для апгрейда уровню игрока, а только уровню захватываемых областей, идиотская работа каркуши - так и не понялпосле 87 часов в игре: Плюсы: викинги; набеги; неплохой сюжет; развитие поселения от палатки до города. Минусы: абсолютно никакой стелс, отсутствие наград за скрытый захват крепостей, невнятные сеты брони и их плюшки, отсутствие быстрого переключения луков, несоответствие деталей для апгрейда уровню игрока, а только уровню захватываемых областей, идиотская работа каркуши - так и не понял для чего она, показать область внутри области, убитая модернизация корабля.

    I have played pretty much every 3xA game of 2020 and i can safely say that AC:Valhalla is one of the best PC games of this year. After yesterday's update it feels even smoother imo. Would recommend to gamers who like brutal combat, huge world to explore, tons of different quests and good main character or in other words, to anyone who likes Assassin's Creed games.

    Like most of the AC games, this one also has a good beginning and ending.
    And like the last 2 games, it has an almost dead and soulless open world which gets extremely boring as you feel like you're killing puppets while you're killing guards as the game progresses.
    Combat is a bit better than odyssey but the AI needs a LOT of work.

    I've played every assassins creed game and this one is definitely up their. I hated the combat system when it came out on origins, but they've perfected it now and its incredibly smooth and rewarding. The graphics are gorgeous and it runs so smooth which is shocking for an AC game. The only thing I dislike is that you're clearly a viking, not an assassin, it's very hard to be an assassin,I've played every assassins creed game and this one is definitely up their. I hated the combat system when it came out on origins, but they've perfected it now and its incredibly smooth and rewarding. The graphics are gorgeous and it runs so smooth which is shocking for an AC game. Music is rly good, Jesper Kyd, Sarah Schachner and Einar Selvik did rly amazing job with music, whole world is stunning, almost every npc in this game can be interracted with, npcs in your settlement or your crew have diffrent characters, everyone is special, and you will know them later, they are not just empty npcs.… Expand

The vikings saw the Christians as their Ragnarök, and those Christians -were- their Apocalypse, they brought an end of their pagan culture, with the help of the cross and the sword. Some modern Norwegians have rebelled against this act of erasing the Native Norwegian pagan culture, it even got expressed in arts and music, in the black metal scene for example. Ubisoft are pretending to represent a part of history, but they are legitimizing only a flat view of it, players who only play this game would not learn a lot about viking history, or what Valhalla could mean for these warriors. Да, она бывает местами очень затянутая, есть критичные баги, которые не позволяют продолжить миссию и приходится заново загружать предыдущее сохранение, но скажу честно и искренне, она мне очень понравилась, я не проходил абсолютно все побочки, не гонялся за сокровищами. Я простоНаиграв в этой игре 80+ часов и закончив все сюжетные линии могу сказать, что вальгалла определенно стоит того. Я просто проходил сюжетные задания, периодически встречая на пути доп квесты. Проходил осознано только аномалии анимуса, ибо это дает секретную концовку или что-то типо этого. Все проблемы и вопросы игры были объяснены в конце, так что после прохождение не будет вопросов подобным: а почему мы можем выбирать пол персонажа в воспоминаниях нашего предка, это очень хорошо будет потом объяснено, кстати о поле, женщина канон, сорян.     A fun and engaging story, wide open world where you go go anywhere and do anything. Interesting side events and activities. Combat, while it can be buggy, is varied with different weapons and movesets. Great fun and a good buy.

    Very good Assassin's Creed game and one of the Best PC Games of 2020! I bet people who hate it are also same people who like Marvel's Avengers. Its so obvious. Tasteless gamers.

    I loved odyssey but this is probably the best AC game since Black Flag.
    For me, it's everything original AC 1 wanted to be.
    A lot of variety of the small towns cities enemy types etc.
    The game has a lot of enjoyable side quests and things to do in between the main story. Leveling up not annoying FOR THE FIRST TIME in a long time!

    Yeah, complete different story from this years cyberpunk, lot of bugs I mean lot of them, but I don't expect bugs from fuc*ing game that looks and plays like a game from 2015. I think the idea of the story is very potential but the processing is sh*t. Really repetitive gameplay and boring battle system. Overall big disappointment.

    A more compact story and level scaling for more challenge would have gotten this game to a 9/10. Visuals are 10/10. 90 hour playthrough for me as very thorough first half then just hitting nodes near routes to story objectives. I ended up over-leveled and had to bump to hardest difficulty. If you're not feeling this game after 8 or 10 hours, I'd consider moving on to something else.

    Playing on XSX, the game is amazing. I've played every single Assassin's Creed game at launch, and this is the most happy I've been with any of them since Brotherhood. A big part of that is probably because I personally love Viking lore.

    if you see past the bad AI both animals and enemies enemy, you cannot see past the game braking bugs that many have (like me). And that it took over a week to patch. Sorry but for me they dropped the ball on this one.

    What should be an intense 50 hour game with variety and a gripping story is drawn out into a 100 hour fetch quest of unnecessary loot items, side tasks, map marker hunting, and going backwards and forwards across a beautiful, but excessively large map. If you have the time, it is recommended, but expect half of that time to be fluff and filler.

    Tons of bugs. To be honest i didnt expect that much. While im climbing character jumps to water instead of climb the top of the pillar. and its really common. When I jump down from a cliff, i stuck to terrain in middle of the quest. Quests so boring gives nothnig to you and every time you    I have played 100 hours now and I think im able to write a review. Here is what I experienced.

    Mysteries wont show what you should do. And they really worked on hiding things like a chest. They hid very well so players cant find. First raids are good but when you reach 40 hours in the game you figured out that is same thing.

    To be honest they made some skeleton to game and copied every single thing in the game.

    I dislike this game. Played like 2 hours. The combat is just joke when comparing for example with Ghost of Tsushima. AI is completely dumb. The world looks nice, thats all. UBI won't refund my money and I feel like they robbed me! UBISOFT only through pirating! Then maybe in few years for money when the game will cost few bucks!

    Way better than Odyssey. All this endless grind is gone and xp comes easily. You get x2 skill points each time and it's really easy to get them. Just explore, raid, open chests, etc. Assassin's creed is back for sure!

    I like the fact that it's long game not 4-8 hours. I'm power level 150 i think and there seems to be so much more coming. So far it's one of the best in the series.

    Positives: runs well enough on any (decent) PC, graphics are good, story is interesting, lots of place to explore.
    Negatives: I don't really have negatives, but there's always something to improve, like for example they could do that you can wear hood while fighting. That would be great.

    My favorite location in whole game must be Norway, it's way smaller than England, but all this ice and mountains just make it looks so magical. Great game, would recommend.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.

    Sneaking is fun, fighting is fun, walking through the great outdoors is so much fun. Sightseeing too! Valhalla is free minded and could be innovative, but lacks skills to persuade its players about that. [Issue#308]
