    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is Best Video Game Ubisoft has released in 3 years, not only that. It's also one of the Best Assassin's Creed games ever made. There's no need for spoilers or long review, i think that should say it all.

    Extremely fun and beautiful looking game, literally perfect game to play until Cyberpunk 2077 comes out, but i would play it anyway, because i'm huge AC fan.

    How can anyone give this amazing, beautiful Assassin's Creed game 0/10?? It's one of the best in the series, so whoever gives it 0 is clearly not a fan and never has been. I bet these people are just envy that this game gets attention. How tasteless and pathetic someone needs to be to give some good game 0/10 just because they are envy? Well now i'm angry, here's my 10/10, take that.

    Good job Ubisoft, hopefully there will be some patches more, but it's already very good! Hopefully Far Cry 6 continues this trend of good Ubisoft games.

    Buggy mess, quest breaking bugs everywhere.
    They finally patch the game then the very next quest it bugs up again.
    No answer from Ubisoft.
    Avoid like the plague.

    Leading up to release, the noise around Valhalla did manage to hype me up. And it didn't disappoint... at least that's what I thought at the beginning. And, from my own experience, it seems to be a pattern throughout all of the AC games: they start out strong and slowly fade away towards the end once all of the routines settle in.

    The story is alright, but nothing too exciting. Usual    Leading up to release, the noise around Valhalla did manage to hype me up. And it didn't disappoint... at least that's what I thought at the beginning. And, from my own experience, it seems to be a pattern throughout all of the AC games: they start out strong and slowly fade away towards the end once all of the routines settle in.

    The story is alright, but nothing too exciting. Usual Ubisoft problems there: boring dialogues and poor animation. World events it's the only breath of fresh air in this entry. Most of them seem fun and interesting, although they lack in depth and duration. I've stumbled upon a few quest-breaking bugs with World Events as well.

    Speaking of bugs, there's quite a few. Although sometimes it's difficult to say whether something is a bug or it's a poor game design. Abilities require some serious rebalancing, I ended up using only one ability (the one with the harpoon) as it was dealing much more damage than all the other ones. Skill tree was rather annoying with all the sub-nodes to unlock, as unlocking them didn't add anywhere nearly enough difference to actually notice during gameplay.

    Visually the game looks like Odyssey, in the best-case scenarios that is. But in most cases, it actually looks worse. Very disappointing in that regard.

    And gear and weapons... Oh boy, that was one of the stupidest changes they introduced. The gear system is basically non-existent. I ended up using the first gear set (Berserk) I got at the very beginning of the game throughout the rest of it. Other gear sets had weak buffs and looked much worse next to my upgraded gear. Same with weapons: tons of shields, barely any interesting weapons. I found a badass axe at the beginning of the game and used it for the whole game as I couldn't find anything better.

    Overall experience was very mediocre. The game feels extremely rushed into release and unimaginative. Like with pretty much all of the previous AC games, they could do a much better job if only they invested a decent amount of time into development. 3 years of development is a joke, regardless of how many studios were involved.

    Oh, birds and flames at half the framerate are still there ;)    … Expand

    I hated especially the end fights against Odin and Basim. They were like some pokemon crap. Also the whole Valhalla part, the visions and the visit of the old ruins did not fit into the game. In Odyssey they made sense of it, I liked those parts a lot. The story in the game is really weak, the characters are extremely flat and shallow.     Даже не знаю с чего начать, игра настолько плоха, что хочется придти к этим легушатникам в главный офис и выбить все окна. Ну начнем: 1)повесточка-тут все и так понятно, геи геи геи геи, сильные и независимые, геи, сильные бабы
    2)отсутствие исторической достоверности(даже самой малой)

    Very nice, specially Norway because i like this all snowy/ice area. But England has also really interesting locations. Hopefully Ireland brings something new again and i have no idea what to expect from Paris? I have no idea what Paris looked like in 800s so yea.

    Runs well after latest patch, i have still noticed some minor bugs, but these have been very rare, overall it's epic. So much better than i expected.

I understand that you want to promote your own store and that's completely normal, Rockstar is doing exactly same thing, but they also put their games into steam. Why not both? And AC Valhalla sold a lot anyway from Ubisoft Launcher, so it wouldn't hurt inAmazing game! But Ubisoft come on, you need to bring it to steam. It's so important and you would get so much sales from there as well.     I have always liked Assassin's Creed soundtracks, they hit the nail basically every time, but this one.....this one might be my favorite. Specially main theme, but there's also so many good themes that play while you just free roam. Very well made soundtrack. Been playing around 25 hours i think and story is well written, but what really impressed me was graphics.

    Those who have last of us 2 rated as 10/10 and just come here to give Valhalla 1/10 without even ever caring about this series must some kind of new low. This is beyond pathetic. I don't wanna know what kind of disgusting empty and hateful people these are. Valhalla is amazing.

    It's very obvious that those who give anything under 7/10 have been used to play boring, linear story simulators that require no thinking, exploration or freedom of choice. They wouldn't spot a good video game to save their life.     Assassin's Creed Valhalla is one of the best games of 2020. Yeah it needs some improvements and bug fixes, but it's generally fun and good game.

    One of the best in the whole series, surprise hit basically. I was worried it might fail and if it failed it would have been pretty much over for AC, thankfully it's solid.

    Without a doubt it is the best of the last 3 ACs. however the gameplay is highly repetitive, the open world is overwhelming.

    the best thing about this installment is the world and the environment. but the saga needs a break to reinvent itself for the new generation.     sadly the mobility of the character is crude. the combat system is the most difficult and worked of the saga

    I finished AC Valhalla yesterday, afte 125 hours of play. Story wise, Valhalla is the best AC game since AC 2. Ubisoft has taken a step in the right direction. What a great game. I can't wait to play the next AC game.

    Might be my favorite map of any Ubisoft game ever. Sure, i like Paris in Unity and Black Flag has generally interesting map, but Valhalla is just new level. Very beautiful game.

    Good comeback Ubisoft! This game has way more depth than i expect, hopefully that's how Ubisoft main titles will be from now on. At least AC and Far Cry.

    PC version is easily best version of this game, but it's really nice what they did with ps5/xbox series x/s. Very beautiful graphics and fun story, i'm sure most AC fans will like it.

A huge , vibrant, colourfull open world wich was designed with beautiful graphics and an intriguing story line, wich for me, makes Alexios one of the most memorable assassins of all the franchise ! There are so many unique places, items, quests, characters , weapons that make this game anThis is a masterpiece of a game coming from Ubisoft and most likely a must play for every RPG fan.     I finished Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate and Origins while preparing for this and it's so enjoyable so far. Story hooked me from the beginning and i love sailing in Norway, super relaxing. Combat is very brutal this time.

    Never cared for Odyssey, Valhalla is so much better. No grind as far as i can tell and game is actually interesting this time. You get 2 skill points for basically every mission you complete. Power level goes up fast enough. If someone think this is boring, i'm sure you will your "FUN" out of games like last of us part II.

    Can anyone get more bitter than someone who played Assassin's Creed back in 2012, haven't cared for past 7 games and still tries to hate it and pretend that he/she is actually fan? I don't think so, to me games are art and i never gives 0/10 to games i don't like, i just ignore them, it's that simple.     Positives so far: Graphics, Story, Likable Characters, Open-world, Variety of Enemies, Secrets, Classic Assassin elements are back.
    Negatives/Could be better: Needs some improvements, but overall very solid, specially after patch 1.0.4 that fixed lots of issues for me.

I think any reasonable person would do that before paying 60 dollars. I would never but Marvel's Avengers, already knowing that i will hate it and then gonna give it 0/10. Makes no sense. But when Assassin's Creed 4 came out late 2013, that was first time i actually got interested. Yeah Unity had awful launch, but they pretty much fixed it in first 2 months and i almost hate that people bring it up all the time, because so many games have had absolutely awful launch, but they never get so much whining, maybe it was because AC is so popular idk. Either way Unity has best parkour of the series and graphics that still impress me today. Odyssey was kind of mistake imo, because story was meh and it grindy. Now Valhalla fixed it all and bring back stuff i loved from Black Flag and parkour elements from Unity. Overall Valhalla is very good AC game and better than last two.… Expand

    Surprisingly very good. Better than Odyssey, and just as good as Origins imo. Ubisoft combined some aspects of the old ACs and the new ones, and it works nicely. Great game, very nice :)

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla plays best on PC, but i'm sure it also runs well on next-gen consoles.
    I personally own only PC and PS4 versions. Very good game.

Every other ps4 game has normal scores, so it's very important to get this user score to normal, because it's one of the best games of 2020. For sony it's easy, i literally witnessed how fake asian reviews got Demon's Souls Remake to over 500 positive 10/10's in one day.

    Loved the story in the start, got a little worse when all the assassin's creed stuff started later in the game, would have been a 10 if this game was just a viking game. shame they did'nt just start new and made a realistic game more like kingdom come.

It literally hurts me that thousands of people are giving likes to AC Valhalla youtube videos, but they can't take 5 minutes to come here and say that they like this game.     I would say this might be one of the best ones yet. Graphically absolutely stunning no matter where you go, lighting is so good in this game. Snow effects in Norway are also almost top tier. Story is really long and most of the times interesting. Good.

    I'd give this game a higher rating if there weren't so many bugs and crashes. I really enjoy the settlement idea and the rpg elements of the game. I do wish there were a little more options for the settlement building but I like where they are going.     Great game , great ending , great plot , very good gameplay. What makes it feel better is that this games comes out after the disappointment of Odyssey. Took me 80 hours to finish it and It never felt like 80 hours. Its so addictive and well made. Sure it has its flaws because it is Ubisoft who made it but I still love this game one of my favourite games of the franchise

    Miss searching for mercenaries to hunt to complete an armour set or get a new weapon. Days of play in valhalla and I've only found two armour pieces.     Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.

    Sneaking is fun, fighting is fun, walking through the great outdoors is so much fun. Sightseeing too! Valhalla is free minded and could be innovative, but lacks skills to persuade its players about that. [Issue#308]
