    CPU: Intel Core I5 4690k This game is absolutely ridiculous! Ubisoft, I am absolutely mind boggled. You have successfully created a game that is buggier than Africa. Your company did something that someone should never do, release two games in one year (you even beat cod). Absolutely ridiculous, I'd rather wait three years and get a good game then get    Specs:

    News flash, 24 fps is not cinematic. I have an great rig for gaming and it should not have a problem running this game. However fps drops happen very often and bugs ruin the fun of the game. Also, just because we liked a game in a franchise. Doesn't mean we want the same thing over and over again.     Poor game, worst of the series so far. It does not run well even on high-end PCs. No creativity and absolutely no innovation. Boring story. Last but not least, the game is overcrowded with BUGS. Taking into account insane price this game deserves 0. I will give it some credit for nice graphics, though.

    Definitely one of the worst games that I ever played in my life!! TERRIBLE!! And no, I did not played it in 2014, when it was launched completely crashed and full of bugs. I am playing in 2020, when it is still crashed and full of bugs!!! A lot of missions I had to play lots of times because the game crashed in the middle of the mission. And whose idea was that of having two thousandDefinitely one of the worst games that I ever played in my life!! TERRIBLE!! And no, I did not played it in 2014, when it was launched completely crashed and full of bugs. I am playing in 2020, when it is still crashed and full of bugs!!! A lot of missions I had to play lots of times because the game crashed in the middle of the mission. And whose idea was that of having two thousand missions with exactly the same things to do was a nice ideia?? Terribly optimized!! The only thing for me that saves in this game is the level design (Notre-Dame is fenomenal), the graphics is good, and the history facts of the revolution!!… Expand

    I really wanted to like this game. Unfortunately, Ubisoft does a fantastic job at ruining any positive aspect of this game.

    I see many people saying you need a "powerful rig" to run this game
    That is simply not true. The game will run the same on a med-high performance computer: that is to say it will run like **** because the game is not capable of running smoothly at all.

    I gave this game a good college try. After many sessions ending with me hitting alt+f4 out of rage, I simply had no choice but to warn people away from this gorgeous trainwreck of a game

    Прошло почти 6 лет и в игре до сих пор куча багов, весь Париж в каких-то черных полосах, люди пропадают, вылеты и так далее. Зато фпс стал нормальным, да, спустя шесть то лет.

    Сюжет - полный атас (и да, это про сюжеты в АС), ассассин, которого воспитывал тамплиер, мстит тамплиерам за то, что они убили тамплиера, вместе с другим тамплиером, который другой, не такой тамплиер. Куча    Прошло почти 6 лет и в игре до сих пор куча багов, весь Париж в каких-то черных полосах, люди пропадают, вылеты и так далее. Зато фпс стал нормальным, да, спустя шесть то лет.

    Сюжет - полный атас (и да, это про сюжеты в АС), ассассин, которого воспитывал тамплиер, мстит тамплиерам за то, что они убили тамплиера, вместе с другим тамплиером, который другой, не такой тамплиер. Куча сюжетных дыр, акценты смещены в какие-то абсолютно никому не нужные места, важные моменты повествования, например отрывок о том как ГГ пришел к тому, чтобы стать ассасином, просто выдернуты из игры. Серьезно, бомж в тюрьме сказал, что ты ассасин, ну все дальше знать необязательно, вырежем из игры два, блин месяца. Главный герой калька с Эцио, но Эцио курильщика, творит какую-то хрень, вроде как герой-ловелас, но при этом тряпка распоследняя, фу. Историческим личностям отведено неприлично мало времени. У нас тут ВФР и огромное количество разнообразных политиков и общественных деятелей? ХМММ, покажем Робеспьера всего на пять минут, три из которых ему рубят голову, с Наполеоном точно так же. Зато вот вам Маркиз де Сад, развлекайтесь.

    Геймплей ничем не примечателен. Вот серьезно. Абсолютно неудобный и скучный стелс а-ля "просто пройди мимо врагов они на тебя все равно не смотрят, а если и смотрят, то сразу отвернутся". Единственное, что можно сказать хорошего, так это наличие города и разного рода объектов и декораций в нем, прямо как во второй части.

    Графон вау. Вот серьезно, игра адски красивая, особенно интерьеры получились на славу, причем как халупы бомжей, так и дворцы с соборами. Но мы тут не в графоний собрались играть, а в игру.

    В общем, поиграйте лучше во что-нибудь другое, игра сырая и скучная, те же самые origins и odyssey вышли куда лучше, а если комп не тянет, то переиграйте в старые части. По сути юнити вышла худшей во всей серии, даже скучнее ревелейшенс (а тут постараться надо).

    To all fellow english speaking users who claim that Unity is "Great AC game ever".

    It's 2021 the game still has bugs. The story is very boring badly written, unlikeable characters, very short gameplay, chaotic map with 10000 collectibles which is extremely boring. Bad fighting mechanics, clumsy as **** I want to play all AC games, but i considered several times to just stop play this **** hours already gets me bored and annoyed.Worst parkour in the series.

    Soldiers are horrendously placed over the map, it feels like the person who made the map didn't even try to play a round of Unity. Sword fights are extremely tiring so obviously players prefer the stealth approach, which is also broken as enemies can easy detect movements from kilometers away.

    The story is pretty much bellow average and that epic trailer is just about the co-op missions which "shockingly" is unavailable due to connection errors.    … Expand

    The changes they made in this game is baffling. Why would you break every working mechanics in the previous games to include broken ones (other than to introduce Microtransactions to milk more money out of the players)? The free-run up and down doesn't work as well as the old free run, the weapon equip system is broken. But no, they lock the upgrades to your armor to be ridiculously expensive so you either play with their broken stealth system (you no longer have unlimited Eagle Vision) or Pay Real Money to buy the upgrade. Well, I'm not going to do either. Ubisoft should refund every purchase of this game. This is a poorly designed, buggy, and greedy game. 1 star!… Expand

    This game is a complete technical disaster and just barely playable with acceptable framerates with an R9 290X or GTX 980 graphics card. Don't even think about buying this game until Ubisoft sorts out all of the bugs and technical shortcomings, which could take months. And Uplay sucks as always.

    The gameplay is more of exactly the same, just A LOT more boring this time.

    this game is just not finished . I can barely play it on my PC with a nvidia gtx 780 TI !!! I remember the E3 trailers and They were lies. Ubisoft , finish your game and stop lying your customers.

    The game is atrocious, uplay it's a nightmare random dc awful ui same bugs that years ago worst drm ever. The game itself is bug creed unity white screen, tearing, random textures mix, walls dissapear and many more. After a long fight i got my refund with steam do yourself a favor and dont support this garbage.

    If you don't enjoy doing the exact same things you've been doing for the past 6 Assassin's Creed games, then this *new* entry into the series will definitely not impress. The game, when it actually performs in a playable state, looks lovely, it's no surprise the French developer    If you've been enjoying the same, repetitive formula for 6 years, then you will probably enjoy this game.

    If you don't enjoy doing the exact same things you've been doing for the past 6 Assassin's Creed games, then this *new* entry into the series will definitely not impress.

    The game, when it actually performs in a playable state, looks lovely, it's no surprise the French developer put a remarkable amount of effort into the setting of Revolutionary Paris, and it pays off in an extremely detailed and beautiful environment.

    However, this is a shallow surface detail, and it starts to become apparent that the development team spent more time on visual upgrades and pseudocurrency integration than into actually developing a game that is fun and more importantly compelling to play. As Arno, the bilingual Frenchman with a distinct English accent, you will explore Paris for the usual trudging collectibles, hidden secrets and quests that accompany any Assassin's Creed game. There is a lot of content here. Well, you might say something different if you reclassify what content is, and perhaps make the term adhere to a more strict definition, as collecting the chests which require you to use the companion app to unlock them feels both dully reused and insultingly re-conceptualized, seems more as though the mandate of the team was "filler, filler and more filler" to split the main Assassination missions apart.

    This trend of Ubisoft games is starting to feel more and more tired and uninspired the more games that it is present in. The player is let loose in an open environment with a multitude of optional objectives spread out across the game world, which if it takes your fancy, you can indulge in at any point for however long you want. It is possible to complete the majority of all of these side activities within the first couple of hours of the game, barring the restrictions of story unlocked areas and equipment required to complete them.

    Whilst they are "optional" "side" activities, this method of injecting content has made up the bulk of most of the Assassin's Creed series, and now it has made it's way into Ubisoft's other IPs, with reimagining of the Far Cry series and Watch Dogs, all featuring the same system of climb/hack/climb&hack some kind of elevated structure which then in turn unlocks the area and reveals all the optional objectives and collectibles that were hidden.

    Obviously the formula is popular, as so far all the series that utilise this method have been all been a success in their own right, and even when other companies take the concept and use it in their own games it appears to be a factor for success, as shown with Monolith's Shadow of Mordor, which used the same tower revealing mechanic, and even had an eerily similar jump-off-the-tall-thing animation as Assassin's Creed patented Eagle Whistle Haybale Frontflip Dive.

    When it comes down to it, the gameplay of the game is nothing new. The combat system is practically identical, one of the very few differences being the way that enemies health is shown, which was absent in the previous to AC games but still their for the majority of Assassin's Creed titles.

    The animations of the game, when they aren't bugging out horrifically, should be praised however, for some really fantastic mocap work that does genuinely convey a sense of realism (if you can suspend the disbelief of a man doing piroutess along the front of a church and frequently breaking the laws of physics) in the sticky-handed protagonists movements, and those of NPC's.

    I didn't get to play Co-op, so I won't mention it, but it wasn't really something that interested me to begin with.

    Finally, the micro-transactions are pointless, and the introduction of "Creed Points" is as hilarious as it is sad.

    If you're looking for an interesting and exciting experience this isn't it, and the amount of performance issues makes it impossible to recommend.    … Expand

Arno is a BAD copy of ezio.The first 20 minute of gameplay as a templar (tragedy of jacques de molay) is better than the whole ac unity game was! finally i SAW a real TEMPLAR guys! finally after AC1! even the musics was better for this short gameplay and it was very cinematic and intense.

    Music/Sound: sound effect is really awesome but still not mach with ac1 lifelike background sounds, same goes for the music wich is unity have a terrible musics, boring,flat unlike ac1/ac2/ac brotherhood they have genius musics.

    i still think the best ac games was AC1,AC2,AC3,AC brotherhood after that the whole asassins creed franchise goes downhill.

    So apparently the silent sniper rifle with the ability to shoot through walls was invented during the French Revolution. At least that is what I would think with how many times the snipers have silently killed me without even letting me know I was spotted or was in combat.     Technically, it is only in the beta phase and is full of artifacts and programming errors. On the Internet, it is mocked and images say more as words already everywhere;-).

La nota es a raíz de la calidad técnica del juego y básicamente podemos concluir que es un mal "port" de consola. Vamos a los detalles, el juego luce muy bien, se nota que se han esforzado en el trabajo artístico​ tanto a nivel de escenarios como de personajes. El guión promete y aunque sea otro juego mas de la saga tenía las expectativas bastante altas con este AC. Pero todo esto se va a la mierda en un PC... El resumen sería que está fatalmente optimizado y apenas consigues una tasa de 20 FPS jugando a 1920x1080 (2 x Radeon 7870 en CrossFire) y probando todo tipo de configuraciones gráficas, desde bajas, medias, altas y extremas.     Unplayable as it is. Horrible performance on a high-end PC, choppy and laggy all the time. I am getting very weird lightning and texture glitches all the time. A friend of mine got it for PS4 and is having the same problems...

    Assassin's Creed Unity is an unplayable, broken mess on PC. Crashes to desktop, dropping through the environment, NPC actors falling out of the sky, conversations not triggering, and on and on. Poorly optimized for PC (of course) and my GTX 780 Ti struggles to maintain even 40 fps in Paris. Completely unacceptable. Ubisoft, go eff yourself, this is the last straw.

    I have an AMD graphic card. The consequence is that the game is so slow it's unplayable (~10 FPS) even with the minimal graphic settings and lowering the resolution to the lowest allowed.

    From massive performance issues that will only be fixed through numerous patches like X - Rebirth to problems with animations, crashes and unjustifiable system requirements, this year's Assassin's Creed is nothing but a waste of time and money. Carry on.

    I played to this game since 11 November and I can say, t's a special collection of bugs, errors and problems. I can't understand why a so "professional" company can send a so crappy PC game, it's not optimise at all for a 40Gb game.
    It's almost impossible to have fun when you play. And I don't speak about the crazy technical spec to "play" normally.

Even the console version counterpart suffer from bugs and optimization issue right now, resulting in a low user score. With an unsatisfied user experience, how can a game deserve a high score?

    And this game has an extremely poor optimization (even beast game rig only barely keeps the fps at 30), which is a typical console port without sufficient graphic options. Bugs or glitches may even ruin the player progress, like falling down in a glitched wall.

    The story is acceptable, probably a bit better than AC 3 and 4. It has some minor improvement in stealth and combat mechanics but it still won't appeal to either experienced stealth gamers or action gamers.

    Fairly speaking, a game with such kind of efforts doesn't deserve its price tag charged right now.

In a game where movement is key, you have to have fluid movement. 80% of the time your character will NEVER go where you want him to go when you're free-running and moving about. He'll catch things completely off center of camera and attempting to run one block ends up getting about four blocks of movement and 5 times as long to do because of all the extra catching and moving that the character does instead of just going forward. Don't even TRY to go into a window; jesus... it's nearly impossible and I find myself screaming at the character because he can't get in a damn window. Then, if I'm trying to find my way down a building, lord help us there, due to the horribily programmed system, you can't even release straight down until the game knows there's something there for you to grab. I constantly shout at the character like he's my 60 lbs dog greeting me at the door; "Get DOWN!". But, he just won't go down.

    The combat in this game is complete junk. THE worst combat system I've played with, and I tried it on all three system; PC, PS4 and XB1. The biggest frustration with the game comes with the combat camera. They zoom in so HARD on your character that you can't see the damn fight around you!! This makes it nearly impossible to have a fight against more than 2 people and the fight ends up turning into a fight with your CAMERA CONTROLS rather than a fight with baddies in-game.

    I haven't been able to get the Multiplayer to even work, for "Reasons". I can connected to the internet, I have a router (like the rest of the gaming world) but Ubisoft can't seem to get me to connect to their services unless it's 2am. So, a game heavily hyped with Coop is completely useless for me.

    I've gotten completely SUCK on a building and I could go up, or down, and had to fast travel to get un-stuck.

    Get this game if you want to be frustrated as hell, because that's all you're going to get. It's not fun. There's not a thing I can say about it that's nice; which is extremely sad, because I've been a major fan.

    Hey Ubisoft... maybe if you cared LESS about your stupid "Companion App" and releasing another game side-by-side with this one (Rogue) then you'd actually be able to pull out a decent game.     No diving
    No hunting
    No dart
    Few weapons, poor equipment, poor personalization,

If they fix optimization ill give 2 more points, The scifi setup is stupid and ruins the immersion often, Movement glitches make sneaking almost impossible. Everybody has British accent in France, NPCs run against walls, glide everywhere and warp stupidly on objects. 1 point for trying to make co-op.

    17. Final boss is a ripoff of Star Wars' emperor. Hooded cloak and lightnings are included
    18. Parkour system is even less controllable then before.

    Verdict: 1/10 (rock bottom).

    This is at best a Beta build of the game, arguably they would have released this in 2015 and fixed most of the problems, but they have rushed for the busy November games launch window and as a result this game is woefull.
    I will be returning for a refund through Origin, the amount of problems are so vast, bug fixes and even moderate optimization isn't going to be realistic for some months. Given it's appalling reception, expect to see it go on sale quickly as well, I wouldn't recommend this at all in it's current state, for any price.
    Just wait and pickup Rouge whenever it comes out on PC, given its based on the AC4 engine and has a delayed release, it will most likely work properly and give you some PC assassins creed between now and whenever they expect to finish this release.
    Most insulting game release this year, by far, and goes toe to toe with the worst games of all time as far as a PC release.
    Even on PS4 I the framerate dips into the 20s or lower frequently, with loads of pop in and gross textures. This game needed another year in development, obviously. Greed at it's finest.    … Expand

    1. The game is badly optimized, fps drops etc.

    4."Needs an high end computer" to run this game

    Otherwise the game seems cool with its new graphics but still not worth the price tag (yet)
    My advice is wait for the 3rd patch which they will improve performance and then consider it.

    Ubisoft has really outdone themselves at alienating fans this time. My current setup is able to run Crysis 3 flawlessly, Far Cry 3 perfectly, and even Watch Dogs without errors (somehow), as well as every other game it has ever come across, yet in a strange occurrence, AC:U is the only game to challenge it. Even on medium settings I was met with around 20-something Frames Per Second, appalling loading times and glitches that I couldn't have imagined if I tried.
    Maybe I wouldn't mind all this as much, if Ubisoft would admit to their mistakes, apologise, offer bonus content to show their shame and release their next game with developers that had more brain cells than before, yet to my dismay, they haven't. Instead, they've blamed AMD and have acted as if nothing has happened, like a child. Speaking of petty and childish behaviours, their dispute with Steam has gone on long enough, yet they decide to hold on to their precious values, and remove the game from the Steam store. The game wouldn't be all that bad if it weren't for the combat system - the combat system ruins the game. The camera zooms in whenever you engage an enemy, making it so if more guys come, you can't see the majority of them until they hit you and the camera refocuses on them. One shot from a rifle and you're gone - half the time you can't see the aiming reticule to even know you're being shot at. Human shields have been removed, severely limiting your options as far as countering firearms in battle. You don't have enough time to parry against the more elite enemies so you constantly get your butt kicked in combat. Many great things from previous combat engines in AC have been removed - executions, counter kills, double executions, all the really cool animations, disarming enemies, throwing enemies, all that stuff is gone. All you have now is parry and dodge which basically ends up being just a button mashing fest and using smoke bombs constantly because if you engage more than 2-3 enemies, chances are you're going to die without using smoke bombs. This goes against everything the previous games were great with - you were supposed to be a bad a$$ fighter who, as long as you executed your moves properly, could engage multiple enemies in combat without issue.

    So far I really hate this game and absolutely regret buying it. If the combat wasn't so god awful I could get past all the other stuff and kinda enjoy it, but the combat ensures that the whole game is nothing but frustration rather than fun. Thankfully AC: Rogue comes out for PC in spring, and from talking to a friend at work who has it for his PS3, it has the AC4 combat system and engine in it so I will at least have that one to look forward to. Really hope Ubisoft dumps the combat system from Unity for their next game. PLEASE take it back to the AC4 combat system which was really awesome.

    this game is mot playable on i5 4,5 GHz and GTX770. It's a very expensive slide show with very often 5-10 second freezes (even after patch 4) don't waste your money, or the developers will deliver crap cause they know that it will sell no matter what

    My computer can run Black Flag AC3 and Far Cry 3 no problem.

    It can only run ACU on the lowest settings but then it looks like a playstation 1 game.

    If you want the full cinematic experience of 24fps you will need at least a GTX770.

    Your GTX760 is not cinematic enough.

    Soon after posting this review, I did some more playing and ran into some glitches of my own for the first time, one where I hung from an imaginary edge or something and one where I stood on an imaginary box it seemed, could not do anything so I only way to continue was to restart from last checkpoint.. From all the lag spikes that interrupt in the middle of a battle can make it unplayable and very unenjoyable so due to that, I am dropping the score down to 0 since the game cannot be played due to lag spikes and so many glitches.     20 FPS. Npc horribles. Graphics meh. I'm not a big frame rate guy who screams at the rooftops for 60fps or bust, but in this case it really does impact the feel of the gameplay and traversal in a tangible way.

    The new combat system : PURE **** . Now , let me explain : the fun for me in ac was to try and be stealthy but if i fail it was just as fun to kill all the guards in an area...Now you cant do that , its a serious challenge early on to kill 2-3 guards , the parry system is broken , you need to hit them a lot just cause the game tells you to , you CLEARLY MAKE THE FACE AWAY FROM YOU WHEN YOU PARRY , ANYONE AND I MEAN ANYONE CAN PUSH A SWORD THROW A GUY WHEN HE IS FACING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION.

    Stealth : **** again . Again , you don't understand who can see you , who cant see you etc , you just get a weird ass circle around you and puff , nothing else.

    The initiation in the brotherhood : Some weird voodoo **** , THEY DRUG YOU! Think back to ac brotherhood : a small speech , the universal " Nothing is true , Everything is permitted" a hand symbol and a sendoff by the master assassin , not some bull**** .

    Arno himself : weird as **** background with Elise , never actually explain how Arno knows about Templars , it does explain , slightly about assassins but never bout the Templars. He is kinda nice , in a way , kind of a dick , i like that , but he changes....

    Graphics : tried to turn everything to max , was barely working but i was still able to get a good idea of how they wore : slightly above decent , nothing else...hell you can call them good but they don't live up to the required specs

    Bugs : crap ton of them : running on roofs - you glitch into the **** roof
    running on the streets - you glitch into the **** people
    you synch a viewpoint , you cant get down anymore (happened 2/5 total )
    you walk on the streets - the people start flying

    All in all if ubisoft fixes all and i mean ALL the performance issues , bugs the game may be good...i will stile despise the **** combat system but with a a number of upgrade maybe it will be better .
    I suggest you wait at least 6 months before buying it , this is a release worse then watch dogs and that is saying a lot.    … Expand

    9fps, huh lets tone it down to high quality.
    8fps, well what the **** down to medium it is
    15fps.

    They didn't even bother optimising this dump, for the love of god **** yourself Ubisoft. Killing PC gaming and console gaming.

    I would really love to play this game but even my overclocked 780 ti is unable to render this game at a playable frame rate even on low, so there is that...and don't even get me started on the stuttering and the constant pop ups and those terrible textures even on ultra. MY GOD.

    After that i got AC3 on sale and it was aBortion!, than AC4 wasn't any much better so nicely put wouldn't play them if you pay me;E

    Newfound openness of Assassin’s Creed demonstrates just how inadequate its AI really is for a stealth game: pampered nobility usually simply ignores a bloodied body on the dance floor, and guards don’t care much either. At least they’ve learned how to fight: unless you “cheat” with smoke bombs, it’s highly unlikely you’ll survive a melee against a group. [Jan 2015, p.62]

    As I write this, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is a bugfest, but technical problems, however annoying, can and probably will be fixed. It is not cracks in textures that it is the most worrying thing about Unity, but the cracks in game design and writing.
