    The PC version of Assassin's Creed Unity is visually stunning, but it's also very demanding in terms of hardware requirements. If you've got what it takes to run the game smoothly and you like the series, this is the best episode so far.

    The PC version of Unity requires a pretty hefty rig to run, and an even heftier one is recommended. That said, those of you who have access to this will find that Unity on PC looks even better than its console brethren thanks to being able to run at resolutions above 900p, enhanced textures, and (hardware permitting) a much higher frame rate than the locked 30fps of the Xbox One and PS4.

    As I write this, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is a bugfest, but technical problems, however annoying, can and probably will be fixed. It is not cracks in textures that it is the most worrying thing about Unity, but the cracks in game design and writing.

    If you can put up with the stuttering performance and some comically ridiculous bugs (my favourite was an assassination target moon-walking backwards into my confused assassin’s cavalry sabre) then there’s a decent Assassin’s Creed experience to be found in Unity.

    An amazingly beautiful and dull adventure that takes the series well established elements and let's you repeat then yet again in an uninspired infinity. Not even hardcore fans should make excuses for this barely done game of bugs and routine work. Actually they should be the most upset. With Unity the series has gone from it's best to maybe it's worst.

    I wish when i'm 80 years old, i would still go back and play this game or some other similar games that they made in 2010s, good stuff.

    Yeah it had awful launch, but that was 6 years ago and most bugs were fixed.     Graphics 9/10: it looks great artwork is outstanding when there are not technically issues like flickering lights, pop-in. etc

    Performance: 3/10 on ultra high texture, and FXAA settings the framerate stutters heavy on high with no AA it runs okay on a SLI GTX 780TI setup on one card the game just have trouble getting past 30 fps

    Gameplay 4/10 running mechanism are improved or is it in previously AC games the system has always had incorrect guess of were you wanted to climb in Unity that system is just wrong 9/10 times only the climb down feature is a improvement and getting through a window just dont work at all.
    the AI is the worst i have experienced in a AC game
    combat is not improved its worse it does nor feel like its responding to your commands it looks fluent in the animation department but it does not feel fluent like before

    the lvling system and collectibles what on earth were they thinking it is almost like it could be a free to pay!

    the story has lost its grandeur of previously AC it lacks in Ambitions and Suspense

    Sub 30 fps on lowest settings with a GTX 670 and 3570k @ 4.2. But hey, I can run crysis on almost max at over 60 fps. Even watch_dogs ran at over 60 fps, WITH THE FRIGGEN GRAPHICS MOD! Even people with dual titans (TotalBiscuit) can't get stable 60fps. I mean come on!

    Unity is a bad game, not just the port since consoles are having issues too, but the game is unplayable. The game crashes all the time and stutters all the time. Gameplay is sluggish as hell with the huge amount of mouse acceleration which ruins the gameplay. YUCK!

    Ubisoft just released the first AC game to receive the worst score ever. If they don't learn anything from this, then all hope is lost.

    Can't recommend the game to anyone on PC since the game is so broken.    … Expand
