    Very entertaining game. Long and fun. Definitely over-rated for it was the first great game to go 3D. It still is great don't get me wrong. But it's far from perfect. A game I love from my childhood and really recommend playing to anyone.

    Kinda overrated, still a great game. But (in my opinion at least) games as Windwaker and Breath of the wild are better, the exploration is way better. And the story was was more captivating. Don't get me wrong: Ocarina of time is still an amazing game, especially for the time. But it is not as good as it was.

    This is by far the best game i have ever played. Temples are all memorable ( specially Water one). The soundtrack is amazing, the graphics back then were amazing, clearly the best title of the franschise for me. Back then, you just had to feel it ( NO internet for solutions back then , really enjoyable gameplay )

    First of all, the music is excellent. Absolutely perfect, no further explanation. There is so much music for every case and they are going to fit in the mood perfectly. Koji Kondo did a great job.

    I think the Nintendo team created the puzzles incredibly clever. Sometimes you need to think for 10-20 minutes to beat the puzzle. After finishing the puzzle, you say how I couldn't think that.

    Enemy variary is enough, combat is good and boss battles are perfect, not so hard or not easy. NPCs(non player characters) are great for those years.

    And the open world there are so many places that you can interact with people in the open world.You can ride a horse or you can join in the slingshot throwing competition or you can explore. You can make any of these situations.What ever you do you will be rewarded in any way.    … Expand

    The Legenda Of Zelda:Ocarina Of Time foi o primeiro jogo que eu joguei na minha vida, é simplesmente incrível! Ele e Botw são meus jogos favoritos. O que mais me impressiona nesse jogo é que os anos vão passando e ele continua sendo muito bom, e não é por menos! O ambiente do jogo é maravilhoso, a história é boa, um clássico que tem que ser lembrado pra sempre!

Moreover, while the world is truly vast and wide-open, the central field area where you will be doing most of your travelling is unfortunately not very interesting. It has atmosphere, but there's almost nothing to do. The game also lacks a certain amount of character and personality that future Zelda games have like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. That being said, this is still a game worth playing. It is very well designed and immensely satisfying by the end. Please play this game if you haven't.… Expand

    The game is amazing but it does NOT compare to other great games that are scored similarly. The game has aged poorly but at the time it was good. I do not have nostalgia for this game and that is why I'm rating it at only an 8. If you want to play this game at it's best then play the 3DS version.

    first of all i have no nostalgic connection to this game other than gerudo valley theme being in smash. i just beat the game and no wonder its the highest ratted game ever. its not the best 3d zelda game but it was the first one and set in stone the zelda formula. 9.8 out of 10

    Simply the best game ever, awesome tragic story, unbelievable gameplay, introduces many aspects that games today use like the Z-targeting, you love all the characters, the game is mystic for a game made in 1998 its just perfect. You definitely cant skip playing this game

This game's soundtrack is amazing, the world is beautiful and interesting, the bosses are (apart from Morpha and Dodongo) challenging, the mechanics are innovative, the dungeons have great puzzles and themes, and it made the Zelda formula to the best it can get. Even though there are slight annoyances for me, like the reward forTItled "Most influential game ever", and for good reason.     Don’t just love it becuase it is the first 3D Legend Of Zelda, Love it becuase it sets the standard of a true Role Playing Game. From It’s timeless soundtrack to it’s innovative mechanics, to it’s great story and fun gameplay, it is very replayable and really did deserve the 3DS remaster. I have an origional cartrige (origional fire temple theme and all) and played it on N64 my whole life.Don’t just love it becuase it is the first 3D Legend Of Zelda, Love it becuase it sets the standard of a true Role Playing Game. From It’s timeless soundtrack to it’s innovative mechanics, to it’s great story and fun gameplay, it is very replayable and really did deserve the 3DS remaster. I make a point to not have a singular favorite game, but if I did, this would most likely be it. And I am even saying that in a world with Ray Tracing capable graphics cards and high-end technology.     When I played this game as a kid, I thought it was the greatest game of all time. 20 years later, after playing it and beating it for like the tenth time, I KNOW it's the greatest game of all time. When compared to all the other 3D games that were coming out at the time, it's fair to say this game was way ahead of it's time.     There is plenty of content with the various dungeons and upgrade paths and side quests. The game progresses in a nice fashion and gives you a sense of becoming stronger as you go forward through the game.

    1998, un año trascendental para la industria del videojuego, y ahi es donde aparece esta joya que sentó las bases para muchos otras grandes sagas que se apoyaron en las bases que Ocarina del Tiempo cimentó. Al momento de argumentar una puntuacion, es importante hacerlo en base a la fecha en que dicho juego salió, y ahi es donde radica el merito de este juegazo: estuvo adelantado a su1998, un año trascendental para la industria del videojuego, y ahi es donde aparece esta joya que sentó las bases para muchos otras grandes sagas que se apoyaron en las bases que Ocarina del Tiempo cimentó. Al momento de argumentar una puntuacion, es importante hacerlo en base a la fecha en que dicho juego salió, y ahi es donde radica el merito de este juegazo: estuvo adelantado a su epoca. Nos dejó mecanicas importantes como el ciclo del dia y la noche, excelentes fisicas, una muy buena trama argumental y que decir de tantos personajes y lugares carismaticamente inolvidables.     Mas jogando    esse jogo é a definição de super-estimado, primeiramente, quero dizer que eu não sou nenhum arrombado que pinta jogos com gráficos ruins ou antigos como ruins automaticamente, e também que eu tenho uma conexão nostálgica com esse jogo e com zelda, tanto que zelda majora's mask é um dos meus jogos favoritos, e ocarina of time foi um dos primeiros jogos que joguei e zerei.

    Mas jogando agora ocarina of time simplesmente não envelheceu bem nem em gráficos nem em quase nenhuma outra questão, o level design das dungeons é horrível, confusas e frustrantes, meu exemplo favorito é no poço onde quem tava construindo a dungeon teve um derrame cerebral, e resolveu que o poço estaria recheado de buracos invisíveis no chão que te levam pro mesmo lugar com nada de interessante pra fazer lá além de levar um seculo pra sair de lá, E ACREDITE, VOCÊ VAI CAIR NESSE BURACO MUITAS VEZES, mesmo com lens of truth, que revela onde esses buracos estão escondidos, você não vão estar com a lupa ativada o tempo todo, até porque ela gasta magia, e ainda vai cair muito nessa porra, não é divertido ou desafiador, é simplesmente entediante, e o jogo está cheio de coisas como essa.

    além disso, o mundo em si é vazio, com poucas coisas para se fazer, literalmente a primeira coisa que você vê quando sai da floresta é um campo enorme e vazio sem praticamente nenhum uso, e é lento e entediante passar por ele.

    a história é média, é incrível como as pessoas pintam ela como se fosse algo incrível, mas no geral ela lenta e entediante, e sim, é legal ver o futuro das pessoas que você conheceu no passado, mas isso não sustenta a história, que na maioria do tempo é só uma desculpa pro jogo existir

    aliás, lento e entediante, isso é o que define esse jogo pra mim, é simplesmente chato, sinceramente, eu não estaria tão puto com ele se não fosse por tudo mundo colocar esse jogo em um pedestal, e pelo contrário, majora's mask é um exemplo de como fazer um bom zelda.

    o mundo é vivo e cheio de coisas, principalmente clock town, e todos os habitantes tem seu próprio ciclo de dia e noite, tem rotinas, e suas próprias vidas, o que é impressionante até pra um jogo atual, a história a de oot, a mecânica de 3 dias é genial, pois sempre te mantém alerta e dá ainda mais vida ao mundo, as dungeons, são em gerais mais criativas, mesmo que tenha seus momentos ruins, e a história dos personagens te deixa intrigado e motivado a acabar elas, e o principal, o fluxo do jogo é mil vezes melhor que o de oot, enquanto oot parece se arrastar com tantas dungeons, majora's mask tem apenas 4 dungeons, e isso é bom pra mim, até porque ele tem quase o mesmo tempo do oot, ele não parece se arrastar e tudo corre muito mais suavemente, é melhor amarrado, e sim isso do nada virou uma análise de outro jogo, foda-se.

    em geral, eu ainda não consigo acreditar que oot é tão superestimado e muitas vezes considerado melhor que majora's, então eu criei uma conta no metacritic só pra expressar minha raiva, obrigado.    … Expand

    Para mí no es el mejor juego de la Saga, pero si está en el Top 3, sin dudas es muy bueno, tiene una gran historia, los viajes en el tiempo son muy buenos, y que más puedo decir que no se haya dicho sobre éste gran juego

    Everything in Ocarina is perfect, it’s lengthy, it’s fun, the music rocks, dungeons and over world are well designed, it introduced master quest, good story that makes you feel like your link and you saved the kingdom of Hyrule and that you destroyed dark beast Ganon! Honestly, i would recomend the 3ds version because it's way better looking but if you want to play the original, you shouldn't be disapointed. The combat is not the best but is not really important.
