Warlock II: The Exiled mixes several elements like magic, combat and city building is an interesting way. It makes the game complex and deep and should be at least tried by fans of the genre.- XGN

DOOM Eternal The Ancient Gods Part Two is a great finale story-wise, but when it comes to gameplay it is rather disappointing. The few new enemies and mechanics feel shallow and the actual final boss fight is a flop compared to what we've gotten in Eternal and the previous installment of DOOM. So just like Doomguy, we'll patiently have to wait until we can get going again because there's an itch that needs scratching.- XGN

DC Universe Online is a very easy and fun MMO that can be played by both experienced and new RPG players. The graphics are far from perfect but this will not bother you because of the great gameplay.- XGN

Yes, Puppeteer looks amazing. Yes, it's something different. But no, it's not that good as expected. Therefore the game is simply too simple.- XGN

Guardian Heroes has a ton of gameplay options. You can choose to fight alone, or alongside a few friends in several game modes, which is a great new feature to this remake of the 1996 beat 'em up. It's unfortunate however that Guardian Heroes is one of the most chaotic games we've ever played, since it's often difficult to find your own warrior, when he is surrounded by big groups of enemies.- XGN

Assassin's Creed Chronicles India is a 2.5D platformer adventure game in a league of its own. You can't compare it with its larger brother, but the low price guarantees good value for money, with challenging sections and replayability.- XGN

The Infamy gives us an interesting ‘what if’ concept. We see Washington as this crazy lunatic, instead of the American Patriot. Besides that, we can run more in the world of Assassin’s Creed III and killing the enemies still feels so good.- XGN

The name of this game is Cursed Mountain. But do we curse the game itself or not? If you don't pay attention to the bad graphics and the slow progress in the game, you can really have some fun with Cursed Mountain which has actually a unique atmosphere.- XGN

While Dead by Daylight is far from perfect, the game delivers a thrilling experience as both survivor and murderer. Levels are small, so there is always something happening. Playing with friends is mandatory, as it greatly enhances the overall experience.- XGN

Even though it's still, for a big part, the same game as a few years ago, it's really interesting to see how much the game has improve till now. There are lots of new characters and all kinds of features that make the game really enjoyable.- XGN

Star Wars Battlefront is an excellent Star Wars simulator and an audiovisual marvel. Sadly the shallow and oversimplified gameplay and lack of content hurt the overall package.- XGN

God Eater 3 does a lot of things right, but misses marks as is goes along. Youu have a lot of options and skills and the battles you fight against huge monsters are epic. But there are only a few of these monsters.- XGN

Fairy Tail is finally on consoles and PC with a full-fledged RPG. The fanservice in this one is great for everyone. The fights are over the top with all the magic happening everywhere and the world takes you to a lot of different places. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of different enemies and the guild board missions are all similar after a while. Still, the game invites you to explore everything until you reach the spectacular ending and then some.- XGN

The controls of this game are working well, although at first you have to practice a little. Wii MotionPlus is supported but the difference isn't groundbreaking. Fortunately Virtua Tennis 2009 from itself is already a strong game.- XGN

Shmup Collection bundles three unique shoot em ups in one collection. The three games are very different from each other but have one thing in common: They make you sweat bullets. Two of the three games are remastered, but one only got ported to the Switch. Next to that two of the games are short. Luckily the unique elements make you come back for more time after time. If your heart beats faster with bullet hell games, this is the collection you want.- XGN

A decent new entry to the revamped GRID series, which keeps the middle between pure arcade and sim racing. Races are no-nonsense across diverse tracks. While not without technical issues, the races itself are generally enjoyable and graphically above adequate. Progress is regularly gated, which could have easily been dropped, as there is more than enough content available. An even larger range of tracks would have been great.- XGN

Empires combines deep strategy with fast action in the best musou style we know so well from Omega Force. The new way you're charging the castle and try to break or hold the defense is refreshing while the interconnectivity between strategy and action is well executed.- XGN

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is a nice game. That is, if you can look past the graphics and animations and don’t mind the slow loading screens. We secretly find it very pleasing to kick some butt with a Ryu and Dante on the same team.- XGN

The Escalation mode and the singleplayer are the main causes as to why Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a nice third-person shooter. The game is far from perfect and that doesn't help to make this an unforgettable experience. It's fun for a while, but disappears in the back of your closet soon enough.- XGN

A great game for those that know the series, but confusing for others. The 3-on-3 tagteam battlesystem works well and the roster is diverse. The game suffers from some difficulty inconsistencies. All in all, it doesn't rise above the competition.- XGN

Need for Speed: Rivals is a lot of fun. What it definitely isn’t, is the most refreshing game of the year. It’s fast, it’s flashy, it’s Need for Speed. We just find it too bad that the game’s playable with just 6 persons … That’s something that makes Rivals’ world feel kind of desolate. Nevertheless; if you’re a big fan of arcade racing, we’d completely recommend you to buy Need for Speed: Rivals.- XGN

If you like kartracers or Final Fantasy Chocobo GP is the game you want to try. This cute iteration brings a few good aspects from other kart racers, adds a story and famous Final Fantasy characters to it and takes all that to different locations throughout the franchise. The game feels like a complete kart racer, but it lacks variation in levels. If there were more levels and options to choose other karts, the game would feel even more complete. Still this is a fine race game to play with the kids.- XGN

A platformer that's hampered by it's focus on telling a tale of an ecological drama. The enormous environments are widely different, but are all dark an gloomy, while protagonist Gaia can temporarily bring brightness. Gameplay is diverse, even though Gaia could really benefit from the ability to shy away from edges, making the platforming more difficult than necessary. There is a great game here, but it isn't allowed to shine due to the unrelenting desire to get the ecological story across.- XGN

Escape Plan looks and sounds like an absolute must-have. It isn't however, as the gameplay is a tad too simplistic and the controls a tad to unresponsive. It's a shame, really.- XGN

Serious Same 3 shines in the co-op mode. The singleplayer gets a bit boring after a while and the competitive multiplayer doesn't stay fun for long. The co-op is where it's at, letting you play with 15 friends in a very hectic game. The gameplay is great and stays true to the older Serious Sam games. The concept still works great, just don't expect a great story.- XGN
