Marvel's and Capcom's universes come together and challenge each other again in one of the most comprehensive fighting games at the moment. Both universes merge to bring us a fighting experience as deep as spectacular, which will not leave new players and veterans of the franchise indifferent. Spectacular.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a fighting game that tries to appeal to everyone, and it largely succeeds (unless you’re a die-hard Wolverine fan). I occasionally cringed at the bad one-liners, but I also giggled with absurd joy every time photojournalist Frank West tossed a demigod like Thanos across a dilapidated space station. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite isn’t trying to be taken seriously; it’s a series of geeky what-if scenarios that play out in spectacular aerial battles. After I embraced that, I had a lot of fun.

It may not be the prettiest fighting game on the market today, but it’s undoubtedly the most fun.

With Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 still the bigger and arguably better game, you might wonder why MvC: Infinite exists at all. After extended play, the reason is clear. Fans of the MCU ought to get a kick out of it, while fight fans of all skill levels will find something to like too. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a fun and accessible fighter that still has hidden depths to be mastered. It's good.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is a nice game. That is, if you can look past the graphics and animations and don’t mind the slow loading screens. We secretly find it very pleasing to kick some butt with a Ryu and Dante on the same team.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is a good step forward in terms of gameplay so long as you overlook the visuals and the roster.

Roster omissions, a tedious story mode, and a poor presentation all hold Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite back from reaching the same heights as its predecessors. While it’s still fun and accessible at its core, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite‘s flaws are just too much for it to overcome.

The game is great, extremely fun, the gameplay / gameplay itself is the best ever made in the franchise. It is fun, balanced and fluid. The graphics are not ugly as they seem in Youtube videos, when you play the game in front of you, the graphic is beautiful, nothing amazing, but it is far superior to MvsC3. The game takes advantage of the old characters, but there was a deep balance, and new skills. The characters are better worked and deep. The developers have already said that they have had to take advantage of many characters because of the low budget given by Capcom. The game is not good for casuals, there is not much offline content, but those who like fighting games will fall in love with this game. The criticism was perverse, and the game the guys speak badly because one follows the opinion of the other, without playing and analyzing. Expand

Marvel vs.There have been a few fighting games that have already come out the last year, and for the most part they’ve been very good. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite whilst not as good as some of the other fighting games this year is a very good addition to the genre and it’s a game packed with fun and decent action. The fighting gameplay has been done really well and their is a great deal of strategy to be had when in battle. The strategy in the game is mainly down to the inclusion of infinity stones, and this inclusion makes every fight feel unique and keeps things fresh throughout. The story in the game was very enjoyable, and my favourite part about it was that they made every character feel important, which is great. The roster of characters though wasn’t as big as I thought it was going to be and there are plenty of characters missing, which is a bit of a let down. In terms of content the game has plenty for you to sink your teeth into, and each mode feels as though it’s had a lot of effort put into it. My favourite thing about the game is that it has catered to all skill levels so nobody gets left out, which is great. The presentation side of the game is something I was really disappointed with. The visuals and sound design are really lacking, and you just get a generic feel with nothing much standing out, which is a shame. At the end of the day Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a game that ticks a lot of boxes, and the most important thing is that it remains enjoyable throughout. I wouldn’t say it’s as good as previous fighters this year, but it does enough to join these fighters and it can at times offer a unique experience. Fans of Marvel and Capcom will enjoy this game a great deal and it gets the main aspects right so it gets a big thumbs up from me. Expand
