It's unforgivable that in 2017 a new Marvel vs Capcom game would look so bad......characters' models look plastic and stiff, horrid story line and lack of key characters that have always been part of the franchise........a total disaster.

This game is a mistake. The roster is trash, the graphics are bad, arcade mode is an afterthought, story mode is BAD and the gameplay is not exciting as DBZ. Avoid this trash.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I WILL START OFF WITH THE POSITIVE: GAMEPLAY IS FAST & FLUID. SADLY THAT IS AS POSITIVE AS I CAN GO.
NOW I WILL BE BRUTALLY HONEST, GAMERS AND FANS OF THIS FRANCHISE WILL BE BETTER SUITED TO SPEND THEIR MONEY ON MORTAL KOMBAT XL, KILLER INSTINCT DEFINITIVE EDITION, TEKKEN 7 OR INJUSTICE 1 OR 2. IM SORRY BUT CAPCOM FAILS TO DELIVER. FIRST SFV NOW THIS LACKLUSTER HALFA $$ED EFFORT
THE DESEPTIVE TITLE AND SUBTITLE ARE OBVIOUS FROM THE VERY START. THIS IS NOT "MARVEL" VS "CAPCOM" BY ANY MEANS. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TITLED "AVENGERS" aMOVIE CASH GRAB TIE-IN. THE ROSTER HAS NO CHARACTERS THAT I PERSONALLY COULD GIVE 2 SQUIRTS PF URINE ABOUT. THE STORY MODE IS RIDICULOUS AND POORLY CONCEIVED LET ALONE IMPLEMENTED. CHARACTERS ANIMATIONS ARE AT MASS EFFECT AMDROMEDA LEVEL. POOR FACIAL ANIMATIONS AND LIP SYNCHING. THE SUBTITLE "INFINITE" MAY DECEIVE GAMERS AS I FOR ONE HAD EXPECTED A MUCH MORE ROBUST CAST OF BOTH MARVEL & CAPCOM CHARACTERS.
IN THE END HAMERS AND FANS WOULD BE WISE TO WAIT FOOR THE "SUPER ULTRA ULTIMATE DEFINITIVE EDITION".
OH AND GET REAL FOLKS YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME THAT CAPCOM COULD NOT AFFORD LICENSING FEES FOR MORE MARVEL CHARACTERS OR EVEN THEIR OWN FRANCHISE CHARACTERS. NO WONDER CAPCOM CONTINUES TO RELINQUISH THEIR TITLE AS BEST FIGHTING GAME DEVELOPER TO NETHERREALM AND MICROSOFT STUDIOS. SAD. TRULY SAD.

Weak presentation, weak artwork, weak roster with extra characters behind a paywall and piss poor story. No x-men characters and the infamous akuma are also a deal breakers. Do not support this game

80% of the characters are the exact same characters from marvel vs capcom 3,with the same moves and everything, yet the roster is smaller than mvc3. Gameplay is unbalanced, story mode seems like a corny fan fiction, the stages and models are bland and lifeless and we don't even have characters endings on the arcade mode. this game just feel soulless overall, what happened here? simplesmente um dinheiro mal investido, apesar de terem personagens legais, e uma gameplay acessivel, o modo história é um fracasso, e a jogatina é nada profunda

After spending a fair bit of time with the many fighting games that have released this year, it’s fair to say Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is both slacking and lacking in comparison.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is a good step forward in terms of gameplay so long as you overlook the visuals and the roster.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite succeeds in some major ways. The gameplay is faster and more intense than ever before, even with a smaller roster. Aside from that, the story mode does what it needs to and manages to both tie events together while teaching players, in a fairly organic way, how to properly play the game. The graphics are definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, but deliver more that works where it counts even if some animation and character model work would have helped the overall presentation a bit. The soundtrack is probably the best in the series – it may not be as outwardly catchy, but it’s far better for the actual game and makes each battle seem important.
