Obviously, DOOM cannot match with the graphical power of its counterparts on other consoles, but it still is DOOM running on a Nintendo Switch. The Joy-Cons are not sufficient for a FPS, but the overall experience is a good and gory game on the Switch.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes gives you the feeling that you are saving the Marvel world. Chronopolis is a beautiful designed city and has lots of content. However, the annoying camera and lack of innovations are a pity in this otherwise great game.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is an enjoyable adventure, with a strong narrative focused on emotions and personal grief, and combat that is both fun to play and customizable to your liking. Sadly, an unstable frame rate and issues in both pacing and choice impact, do take away a bit from that shine.

Bumbledore is a small indie game that looks a lot like Angry Birds, so you know what to expect when you decide to buy this game. In Bumbledore, you play a little bee that needs to protect his hive from invading wasps and insects. The concept is far from original but can be great for short sessions. Now, if you will excuse us, we have a huge load of honey to keep safe.

Telltale's second episode of Guardians of the Galaxy tells a more personal story, while giving the main characters some more depth. The episode is not as action-packed as the last one, but overall it’s a nice addition to the season.

MotoGP 17 is a step back from Valentino Rossi the game. Although it brings a new manager mode and classical riders, it does not justify the price tag.

This game offers a nice variation but the hack and slash part will bore you pretty soon. However you can have a few hours of fun with this game.

Developer Ganbarion shows it has a lot of talent and great vision, yet not enough to turn Pandora's Tower into a great game. The story and bossfights do make this a fun experience, but the combat lacks depth and the camera is occasionally uncooperative.

Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise is a game which definitely comes from the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The game feels similar to Yakuza at times, but does its own thing. Despite a few hiccups the game is worth your time.

This unique puzzle game is remade for the PlayStation 4, with hard but fun puzzles and an Indiana Jones like character, you'll be having a lot of fun with the game. Don't expect an AAA-title, just a very fun puzzle game.

Pharaonic takes elements from Dark Souls and challenges us with them. The difficulty of the game is insane and every wrong move gets punished. The graphic side of the game is cartoony and nice, but it has some flaws. If you like a challenge, play this.

Though a bit on the short side, Heavy Bullets offers fun and addictive gameplay that will keep you coming back for more. It also introduces a game mechanic that feels fresh and brings something new to the realm of shooters.

The Sims 4: Get Famous is worth your time as it allows you to become a celebrity. Thanks to fitting career options and multiple ways to become a star you'll have a blast playing through the small world. The scale therefor might be it's biggest flaw.

LocoRoco Remastered and happiness go hand in hand. This game will make you happy and will have you humming those songs for the rest of the month. The controls are not the most precise, though, and where is LocoRoco 2 in this remaster?

For new players, Super Street Fighter IV - Arcade Edition is a great game to enter the world of Street Fighter. The casual gamer won't find much fun in this new arcade edition but the fighting fans will have the time of their life!

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a must-have for fans of the franchise. There's a boatload of characters, the combat is refreshing and the soundtrack is epic. Unfortunately the graphics are not up to par and there are some minor flaws.

With a distinct and interesting artstyle, which mixes a realistic car and city with streetart cartoon drawings for special effects, NFS Unbound definitely sets itself apart from the rest. The game sports a Souls-like mechanism of risk vs reward and a day-night cycle that work, but also hinders progress through the storyline. the races are fun and the many collectibles are well integrated. The near-mandatory police chases quickly become a nuisance and we wouldn't mind if those didn't make a return.

A ton of fun and a good (re)introduction to Nintendo’s 8-Bit classics. Even though it has slight hints of a double rehash, Ultimate NES Remix is still an addicting throwback to the glory days of the Nintendo Entertainment system.

It is a bit disappointing not being able to choose which year you time travel to or see your own little town in the future, but apart from that The Sims 3: Into the Future is a very fun expansion to this lovely videogame. Especially the plumbots and the dream pod are nice features.

Life is Strange 2 is a worthy sequel to both Life is Strange and Before the Storm. The game can't compete with either of them, but makes for a good third game. The story of Sean and Daniel is compelling and keeps you interested. Although there is a quiet episode in the middle of the story and not everything makes the impact you expect.

Rainbow Moon offers a lot of content for a small price. It contains great retro-graphics and a pleasant soundtrack. Unfortunately, a lot of your time will be spend on grinding and that, combined with dull fights, makes for an average game.

Darksiders Genesis is an excellent addition to the action-RPG genre. While it isn't as polished as Diablo, Genesis delivers a great adventure full of exploration and puzzles to boot. With its main characters there is plenty of fun for veterans of the series as well as new players.

Bannerlord doesn't excel graphically or in storyline, but makes that up in flexibility and scale. The vibrant world evolves even without the gamer and offers both opportunities and threads that can be exploited. This is a true medieval sandbox where the player can act as he wishes, but always has to face the consequences. While much great effort is put into making this game playable on consoles, the sheer number of options, menus and controls make this better suited for PC.

Pentiment plays like a living storybook. You walk, talk and act in a medieval style book that is written as you progress. The game leans heavily on storytelling and its historical background. The game is special in a good way. It's not for everyone, but if you're remotely interested in this turbulent times or a good murder mystery, you should really try this one out.

Hirogami combines Japanese origami art with magical 3D platforming, creating a world that feels both delicate and enchanting. Sniper Elite is a fun game if you play in coop. Alone you will really challenge yourself, and quickly notice the game was meant to be played with a partner. It looks good, but could have been better. The x-ray shots keep on being really cool and during the nine hours the game lasts, you will not get bored easily.
