    Moving Out 2 made me a happy bear thanks to its comfort food co-op gameplay with more variety than ever. Plus, you can play as a cob of corn and that's like totes shway. So, if you and your chums need to move a couch together then play this instead; it's more fun.

    Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is essentially a good-looking remake of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe with some nifty extras which is cool because that's an excellent game to bring back. So, if you're itching to master tricky levels then this package is sure to scratch.

    You'll definitely have fun with Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster if you're a fan of JRPGs and don't mind dark subject matter. The dungeon-crawling and battle system provide a solid level of challenge and the gameplay stays interesting throughout. However, the lack of visual detail and poor music quality will constantly remind you that you're merely playing a remaster of a PS2 game.

    Moto Roader MC is one super-fun hidden gem from the TurboGrafx library and it's fantastic that more chums can enjoy this classic racer on modern consoles. Keep in mind, though, that it isn't quite as fun while playing solo as it is racing with friends.

    Mega Man Battle & Fighters is a highly entertaining portable interpretation of 2 arcade treasures that are themselves nifty compilations of classic Mega Man boss fights. So, if you're a fan of the Blue Bomber then definitely play this.

    Gal Gunvolt Burst is the same game as Mighty Gunvolt Burst and merely contains its Ekoro DLC by default. Therefore, it gets the same score. If you've never played it before then now's a great time to pick it up. It's fun retro 2D action in its purest form and the character customization is a blast. Let's just hope that Inti Creates does something a little more original for their next release.

    TOKOYO: Tower of Perpetuity is the kind of indie that I'll gladly pick up every now and then as I try to outdo my previous efforts. It may not be the type of game that you'll play obsessively but it's definitely a blast in short bursts.

    Pit People is a must-have game for its humour alone. Even though its gameplay doesn't live up to many other SRPGs, the fact that you'll be laughing as you cooperate with a friend makes it one of the most enjoyable and memorable entries in the genre.

    The original is one of my favourite SRPGs of all time and FRONT MISSION 3: Remake does a decent job of modernising the gameplay. However, its downgraded visual assets often make its aesthetics feel cheap.

    Railway Empire 2 may not be a perfect fit for console play but I still loved my time with it and I definitely hope that it gets updated to help make it more accessible and streamlined. Although it can be a great deal of track-laying fun, I currently prefer the first game.

    As survival games go, The Flame in the Flood is accessible and a good introduction to the genre. While it has several roguelike elements, it includes checkpoints on its easier "Traveler" difficulty that removes the sting of permadeath. Prepare for an enjoyable trip down-river but count on spending time learning the ins and outs before you start to find success.

    In the end, Resident Evil 3 suffers from not being as good as its predecessor. It's well-made with likable charismatic protagonists and is quite the roller coaster ride but when compared to the tense full-on survival horror game that preceded it, Resident Evil 3 feels like a step back. Still, if you're a fan and are dying for more, this is a solid game that will undoubtedly scratch that itch.

    Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is a fun ARPG with a lot of cool things going for it such as its story and multiplayer features. However, it has a couple of glaring flaws, especially the post-game grind to unlock Warzones.

    Next Up Hero's intuitive gameplay and non-linear structure make it a fantastic game to play every once in a while. Just don't expect to be obsessed with traversing its dungeons because the repetition will sink in much sooner than you'd hope.

    As a revival of a very special Sega Genesis classic, ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove will certainly give fans the funky good times that they crave. However, those devoid of funk likely won't be up for the down stroke.

    Cris Tales is a colourful RPG with a neat time travel mechanic that's used throughout the story as well as in battles. Although this sounds promising, it struggles to reach the heights of genre greats and its lack of fine-tuning often made me frustrated or bored.

    Chime Sharp retains the addictive gameplay of the original yet there are few innovations that make it a worthy sequel. That being said, it's worth adding to your collection for the brilliant soundtrack alone.

    Strikers 1945 II is a step up from the original but it still doesn't quite reach the heights of other classic shmups. The refined gameplay mechanics and added challenge make it a unique enough experience so if you enjoyed the first then you'll want to play this as well.

    If you're looking for a wacky and colourful competitive puzzler that can be enjoyed by casual and hardcore gamers alike then Sushi Striker is a solid experience. Just don't expect it to be as fulfilling as consuming 100 plates of raw fish.
