UO will be remembered as one of the best in the genre and of Vanillaware, no doubt.

Super Mario 3D World is one of the greatest (if not the best one) Wii U games that finally hits the Switch. However, the Bowser's Fury DLC feels like a shallow content included only to justify the full price being charged for a past released game remaster. For those who has already enjoyed everything that 3D World offers, there's no much reason to get this re-release, except the addition of the online multiplayer.

Cave Story is incredible. Polished, challenging, fun and interesting.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is an easy recommendation to do, but with a public that is hard to define. Players that are used to the VN niche or sci fi stories will probably love the game. Other players, however, must give a chance to the title, eventually, due to how unique each of its characteristics are. It’s not a title that will please all players, but it’s certainly a title that deserves the attention of the general public.

I'm very saddened to say that, as an unconditional fan of the series, I cannot recommend this game to most players.

Bash Party is a example of how to do a sequel: improving and expanding the original proposals, but never, in any moment, to do the brightness of the original game fade.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is one of those games that can quickly put a smile on the player's face. Perhaps the reason for this is because it reminds us of some of the reasons that led - and still do - many of us to love videogames. Addictive gameplay, incredible soundtrack and charismatic characters. Yes, he is inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, Castelvania and Metroid, but has his own charisma and charm and is very competent in what he proposes to do.

Coming out of nowhere, Heretic + Hexen is an excellent game for fans of classic FPS, packed with extras, great gameplay, and many multiplayer modes to enjoy, along with achievements and development bonuses. It missed some opportunities, such as bringing Hexen II to the table and improving the weapon-switching system, but it still remains a great game.

So, after breaking and reassembling everything, what's left? Another hit from Intelligent Systems, which again leaves the comfort zone and give us something different and complex, but at the same time friendly and inviting.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is a must-buy for cozy game fans. With complete freedom to explore professions, nearly endless content, and a (smooth but limited) 4-player online mode, it’s a cozy sandbox I adore—now if only someone would expand this vision into a true MMO.

Vengeance is the definitive version of SMT V, however, it will not change the opinion of those that bounced off from the original. Those who loved it will find a considerable amount of new content to justify the new purchase. Those that had a mid experience with the original might want to give this a chance when the opportunity comes.

Luigi’s third solo adventure is the ultimate evolution of it’s formula. A game well designed to be fun either playing alone or with company. Also, it’s visuals and ambiance are incredible.

If you have only a Wii, Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars is a must-buy.

Even after all these years, Yakuza 0, considered by many the best in the series, returns with a host of incredible extras, additional scenes, and runs magnificently on Nintendo’s new platform. It still carries some of the original’s drawbacks, such as unnecessary dialogues that drag the game on too long, but it remains a fun, modern title and a great addition to the Switch 2 library.

The clever use of the touch screen makes the 3D Edition something that no other version of the series wished to be until now: accessible.

Paranormasight has more pros than cons in many aspects. It brings an innovative gameplay and flowchart that, sadly, it's not used in an efficient way, sometimes presenting the interesting part of the gameplay just to throw it away to never return. But still, the game has beautiful artwork and music, an incredible story with memorable characters and, if it wasn't for the mentioned flaws, it could be easily the best mystery visual novel out there.

After a 14-year hiatus, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance returns with a fresh formula, flawless art direction, and a more accessible experience for new generations. The game does have room for improvement (especially in its story) but nothing that detracts from the fun and compact campaign.
