Sadly, NFL Street feels exactly like a sub-game, and an extremely common one at that.- TotalGames.net

Nintendo obviously spent a lot of time on enemy and level design so would it really have hurt to delay the game for a few months and stick some more levels in?- TotalGames.net

You can criticise it for not being a perfect reproduction of tennis and sometimes getting a little over-excited with its colours and power moves but you can't hate this game just because it wants you to have fun.- TotalGames.net

Whereas other shooters may have a 'just one more go' factor to them, the careful build-up to events in Ghost Recon 2 can crush the will of the less-dedicated gamer when it comes to repeating the same level for the fifth time. Even the addition of a save anywhere feature doesn't quite remove the teeth-grindingly annoying aspect of playing certain levels.- TotalGames.net

The controls, though initially frustrating, do deliver the feel and accuracy of the real sport. Couple this with both real and imagined course imbued with the usual EA sense of atmosphere and spectacle and Tiger Woods looks as good as it plays.- TotalGames.net

In many areas Ghost Recon has the balance between shooting and thinking just about spot-on.- TotalGames.net

If you persist past the ugly and confusing combat and a Bible worth of speech, there is a harmlessly atmospheric, quirky game underneath.- TotalGames.net

The game is fast and smooth, with colourful graphics and easy to control characters. The action is non-stop and there are loads of missions, requiring your expert skills.- TotalGames.net

If more effort had been expended so as to maximise this versionís potential, weíd have a real stunner here. As it stands, we have merely a decent conversion of a great game.- TotalGames.net

This is entertainment on a grand scale, simply on another level to the rest of the clone-driven, deadline-throttled gaming industry. A breathtaking arcade blast which makes the N64 essential.- TotalGames.net

A fantastic port of the PC title and is incredibly addictive to play, but it could've been so much better. As it is, this is more like the Jack Sparrow of the pirate world; it doesn't quite reach the kind of class you'd expect from a pirate like One-Eyed Willy.- TotalGames.net

Underneath all the 'hilariosity' though, are some rock solid physics.- TotalGames.net

PC game-heads will be outraged at the dilution of this franchise by its console leanings, but there is still a great adventure and gripping story to be enjoyed.- TotalGames.net

A blast, and for some simple brainless hack n’ slash action you won’t find a better packed or well-presented disc on the PS2.- TotalGames.net

Just as Spider-Man has to struggle with the burden of trying to live a normal life as Peter Parker, Spider-Man 2 struggles to find balance between the open ended gameplay of titles such as GTA it has so obviously been influenced by and platform games of old and their out-moded approach to boss fights.- TotalGames.net

Every single scene, be it a village, a forest clearing or an enormous city, is brimming with character and attention to detail.- TotalGames.net

Even when you take into account some other minor disappointments on top of the AI though (such as the mess of a multiplayer mode and some annoying graphical glitches that occur on occasion), there’s still no denying that Freedom Fighters is a fairly impressive effort and a fun game to boot.- TotalGames.net

The real weakness of NFL Street, however, is the same criticism levelled at Madden just a few months ago - that completing a pass or finding a run through the defence is too arbitrary to judge.- TotalGames.net

Ultimately this is an enjoyable package. If you can look beyond their relatively simplistic visuals then both games are worth investing some time in.- TotalGames.net

FFCC combines the instant appeal of adventures like Wind Waker and StarFox Adventures with the best parts of the FF universe...The best thing to come out of Square since "FFVII."- TotalGames.net

A title which has almost infinite replay value because every time you play it it’s a different game. Even if you repeatedly just play the same map over and over again the variety of things you can do and the impressive AI of the CPU opponents means that it’s never the same game twice.- TotalGames.net

The fact that Smackdown! Vs RAW manages to both encapsulate the essence of the WWE while also delivering a highly skill-based and technical beat-'em-up means that even those without a taste for wrestling will be able to enjoy at least most of what the game has to offer.- TotalGames.net

For starters, anyone familiar with the Dreamcast version will stare in disbelief at the ropy visuals that this version has been saddled with. Everything from the characters to the levels look strangely rough-hewn and the textures look somewhat muted and lack definition and sharpness of colour.- TotalGames.net

Most annoying of all is the painfully slow response of the players, as they stumble through their pre-set animations, never sparing a thought that the button you pressed two-seconds earlier might be a little inappropriate now.- TotalGames.net

One of the major restrictions in Asheron's Call has always been the relatively limited skill system, and sadly the Dark Majesty expansion does nothing to improve on this.- TotalGames.net

Okay, so we’re still stuck with crap passwords and not even a difficulty level to boost lastability, but if the movie was a hit with you, then this perfect platformer is one spin-off that’s worth shelling out for.- TotalGames.net

It’s been carefully crafted to provide superb gameplay, and especially great graphics, despite the fact that games of this nature can only ever really be used for boredom-busting.- TotalGames.net
