Even though its flaws are few and petty for the most part, the length of the game accentuates them to a point of some frustration. Thankfully, though, the story and unique elements are enough to ensure extended play.- TotalGames.net

A refreshing change from FIFA et al. It is easy to get into but addictive enough to keep you coming back for more.- TotalGames.net

The gameplay just isn’t up to scratch. Hack, slash and float is the basic premise, and that is about the extent of it. All the shopping for new weapons and random character level-ups don’t appear to have any effect on the meat and bones of the gameplay, and the repetition soon leads to boredom.- TotalGames.net

Not only is it the most beautiful racing game we’ve seen since SEGA’s "Ferrari F355 Challenge," but it’s also more playable—amazingly—than "WaveRace 64."- TotalGames.net

Beautiful lighting effects, crisp beam weaponry and crystal clear ordinance illuminate your way through to the heart of the Bydo Empire while Delta’s intense soundtrack has been replaced with a calmer and more mature score that settles well with both the game’s landscapes, and its pedigree.- TotalGames.net

But chopping realistic arms off of realistic zombies soon loses its appeal, and it’s not long before Hunter becomes a bore to play.- TotalGames.net

Otogi 2, while often frustrating, is a lot of fun for anyone who has the simple urge to play a simple game where furious attacking is all that's required to hack, slam and kill enemies while at the same time being able to destroy just about every element of the scenery.- TotalGames.net

Its shallow atmosphere aside, there is little wrong with Smuggler’s Run. The graphics will stun even the deepest of cynics, whilst the array of sub-games and variety of missions highlight "Driver’s" limitations.- TotalGames.net

A very accomplished title, as you’d expect from Rowan, if only all the polish that’s gone into the three dimensional section applied across the sometimes clunky menu and map screens. That’s a small criticism when looking at the whole game that offers a fantastic flight simulator and complex battle management game in one.- TotalGames.net

The only downside to the visual experience is the terrible crowd – but the game is so fast your eye is on the puck at all times so you won’t notice it too much unless you’re into watching replays a lot.- TotalGames.net

The combat system has a depth that allows you to learn new moves and string together long combos for some slick fighting while the vivid comic book style goes some way to explain the occasionally basic look of some of the sections.- TotalGames.net

Given that it actually came out before "Hour Of Darkness" in Japan, it'll come as no surprise that this is marginally the weaker of the two titles but what has taken us aback is both how different the game feels and how dangerously close it actually is in terms of quality.- TotalGames.net

The action just lacks the fluidity and finesse of some of the competition, like "Tekken" and "Virtua Fighter," and that certain sparkle that makes good beat-’em-ups great.- TotalGames.net

There's no doubt that Hitz Pro is the best hockey game of this year, though a lack of online play in the UK and no option to play classic Hitz gameplay will disappoint fans.- TotalGames.net

We can't help feeling that this needed an extra couple of months' work to iron out the rough edges and implement some real strategy to the gameplay.- TotalGames.net

Whilst Castlevania is by no means a poor game, it's a world away from the franchise it's supposed to be representing and instead will be seen as yet another above average "Devil May Cry" clone. Oh, how the mighty have fallen...- TotalGames.net

Origins provides you with two mammoth-sized RPGs in the form of Final Fantasy I and II. Both offer fantastic stories, and anyone familiar with the later games in the series will immediately be immersed.- TotalGames.net

An incredibly versatile package and if it weren't for the fairly minor inconvenience of being trapped within the sound set of whichever of the ten basic tracks in which you choose to work, it would be almost without fault.- TotalGames.net

There really is a good, solid wrestling simulation under all the brashness of the WWE. Finally the GameCube gets something to properly rival the "Smackdowns" on the PS2.- TotalGames.net

If you love old-skool challenges and want to test your SF skills against the world's best, then this is the perfect collection. If only it came with a stained cigarette holder to clip onto the Xbox the retro feel will be complete.- TotalGames.net

The lack of endearing characters dosen't help the cause either – there is no empathy on your part as your character comes across as an extremely nasty person...a large slice of fun, but nothing special.- TotalGames.net

A dumbed down first-person shooter designed specifically for the PS2, which isn't equipped to run the more exciting elements of the Deus Ex universe. The result is a bland shooting experience that may as well run under the title of 'Generic Game With Fancy Guns' - a real shame when the potential to create something truly different was handed to the developer on a plate by Eidos.- TotalGames.net
