There are enough fundamental overhauls, most notably the begged-for housing, that the game is certainly worth a fresh look even from my weary eyes, jaded by almost two years of playing.
-
Though a few problems presented itself initially, Asherons Call: Dark Majesty has lived up to its hype and is a wonderful addition to the game.
-
If you're looking for classic online RPG hack-and-slash gameplay, Dark Majesty has more than enough to keep you busy for quite some time--and at a price that's more than reasonable.
-
Dark Majesty doesn't make this a more social game than before, so the onus on making this a sociable experience is up to you.
-
The added feature of housing and storage alone makes it well worth its price tag, but the many new quests, island and monsters all making their debut are really the tasty icing.
-
There is a lot of solid game play here, great challenges and a persistent online world that is as intriguing as it is inviting.
-
This game is an MMORPG that leaves me with some doubts regarding the first M. While the total population of the servers seems to fluctuate in the 10,000 area, in an average town I've visited I have found no more than ten other players, with far lower numbers in the wilderness or dungeons.
