Small innovations keep Lego Jurassic World interesting - for all ages.- The Digital Fix

With clumsy controls, underwhelming graphics, and frankly catatonic pacing, it’s as out of place on consoles as it possibly could be.- The Digital Fix

Splatoon is an intelligent shooter, but it tries too hard to be hip with its “fresh” lingo and focus on superficial style.- The Digital Fix

Nindroids gave the impression that Ninjago could play host to a fresher style of Lego play, a playground to burst through some of the baggage that the Lego games have picked up over the years. Instead Shadow of Ronin feels like a step back - the potential’s been dropped, and franchise cash-in territory entered.- The Digital Fix

In the end, Magicka 2 almost feels like two different games. If you choose to play through the game on your own, you will regularly become frustrated at the game’s control scheme, its random difficulty spikes and overwhelming and unfair nature. On the other hand, if you team up with friends, you’ll get a far more enjoyable experience that doesn’t fix all the game’s problems, but does make them easier to deal with.- The Digital Fix

The overall arc of the season remains unclear and it’s too early to tell if the whole shebang is worth playing. Unfortunately, Telltale are either resting on their laurels or have committed to too many projects - or perhaps both. Game of Thrones continues to suffer as a result, it’s dour atmosphere and familiar mechanics only enticing to huge fans of George R. R. Martin’s world.- The Digital Fix

Italic Pig have bravely experimented with the traditional 2D platformer at an atomic level and to their credit came up with a bold idea, brimming with ideas and colour that works in theory. But while the research is solid, in practice the chemical compounds that make up the game don’t quite gel together.- The Digital Fix

You’ll not want it to end, just like you didn’t want your very favourite RPGs of years’ past to end either. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will sit in that list now. There isn’t any higher praise.- The Digital Fix

Slick, addictive, yet oddly unfulfilling, Invisible, Inc. is great for dipping into, as long as you aren't expecting deep gameplay or substantial narrative rewards.- The Digital Fix

Going backwards from Bloodborne feels almost archaic, and it takes some time to settle into that once familiar gameplay. However Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin offers the chance to revisit that still fantastic and familiar world with a slight twist to proceedings and a respectable face lift.- The Digital Fix

With great gameplay and a funky aesthetic, Tropico 5 manages to turn its dubious subject matter into something enjoyable. It's a pity that it doesn't quite sit comfortably on the PlayStation 4, but it's an engrossing experience nonetheless.- The Digital Fix

Titan Souls earns its rightful place as one of the toughest games of all-time and while some will immediately fall for the elegant yet simple design and alluring fantasy world, others may be turned off by its unrelenting difficulty.- The Digital Fix

Chaos Theory has two big things going for it, the character of Max and its final cutscene. If it wasn’t for these two factors, our time of enjoying Life Is Strange may have been up. Its gameplay has become rather tedious and the lack of elaboration in Max’s time travelling usage is a severe let-down.- The Digital Fix

As it stands Axiom Verge is highly recommended, it is a game that knows its source material, has the ability to authentically replicate its inspiration but interesting enough to add its own spin.- The Digital Fix

State of Decay was one of the best Xbox Live Arcade titles to grace the 360 during its ten year life span and arguably one of the console’s best games full stop. This new updated edition is a step in the right direction.- The Digital Fix

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is sadly a bit of a let down. Gorgeous to look at, fiddly to control and a tad dull to experience, this is yet another AC iteration that falls flat. A bold idea, poorly executed.- The Digital Fix

So for anyone who bought it, or is intending to buy it as a stopgap before our first true current-gen outing for the series eventually comes along, then you might be find this game as a welcome surprise, as going back to school with Class Zero really has taught us that there’s still plenty of life left in Final Fantasy.- The Digital Fix

The one gameplay twist to the episode - a button prompt reading of the Night’s Watch vows - can be achieved by watching the exact same scene in the TV show and pressing a button every time someone starts a new sentence. This summarises the problem with The Sword in the Darkness - there is nothing new here.- The Digital Fix

Ultimately though, LA Cops is a very mediocre experience. The 1970s theme is largely unexplored, the story is almost non-existent and its gameplay is flawed in a number of ways.- The Digital Fix
