Despite its formulaic structure and simplistic visuals, NoReload Heroes makes the act of firing creative guns endlessly thrilling, thanks to great HD Rumble integration and so many different firing types. It’s worth going for the win as a true team of four.

Bookbound Brigade offers players a somewhat educational Metroidvania experience that will either leave you in fits of laughter or less than impressed. But for the amount of content, it’s absolutely worth it’s the price tag.

Professor Lupo is a good and well-designed puzzler, though some irritations hold it clear of a higher score. The puzzle-solving is satisfying, though some of the controls and the movement could have been done better.

There’s not much meat to the bones of this zombie-infested adventure, but World War Z—more fun than fear—manages to offer a neat range of multiplayer gaming options and a competent single player campaign.

Despite lacking some polish, Ghost Blade HD is an immense amount of fun. The leaderboards make you feel very motivated to get higher and higher scores, which undoubtedly aids its replay value. It will keep you coming back for more.

Bad Dream: Coma is a haunting hand-drawn point and click. Clever emphasis is placed on your decision making, though the logic of some of the puzzles isn’t quite as natural as it ought to be.

A dose of old school gaming with a fresh new face, Space Otter Charlie is plenty of fun once you’ve mastered the gravity-free controls. It’s an enjoyable action puzzler offering a few hours of entertainment – and otters!

You can't fault Late Shift too much for what it is. I'd have liked to see a few more decisions on the table for a more hands-on role as the director, but given all the scenes that were filmed, it's impressive seeing all this bundled on a small screen you can take on the go.

Avicii Invector is a musical marvel. It offers yet another opportunity to remember Tim Bergling’s remarkable talent and engage with his music in new ways. There are a couple of low notes, but it’s an enjoyable experience overall.

Screenshots don’t do it justice, but Yuso is a pleasant and engaging puzzle game that provides the pickup and play mentality you want from this type of game and follows through with the depth.

Super Crush KO is a 2D brawler that could be a little better with some additional variety. Still, you should have a hell of a time while its campaign lasts, all thanks to fast-paced combat that makes you feel powerful.

Toki Tori is a great puzzle game in its own right, only shadowed by its improved sequel. But don’t let that put you off. If you enjoyed Toki Tori 2+ then don't think that you'll be playing with an inferior version of the same game - but instead a different twist on the same core principles.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a beautiful, fun platformer that is a welcome addition to the Switch's library. A little on the short side, the game does suffer from being too easy in its "normal" game mode. Still, if 2D platformers are your thing, you can't go wrong with Half-Genie Hero, the titular belly-dancer will certainly have you tapping your feet to the beat - just make sure you play in Hard Core Mode if you like a challenge!

Though it appears to be an simplistic shooter, Hyper Sentinel really takes the fun parts out of any shmup and brings a fast, entertaining game. If you're not a fan of the genre, the straight-up approach to shooting aliens may struggle to maintain your interest over time. However, casual and hardcore fans will discover a challenging and insanely fun shooter.

At around a fiver, Another Lost Phone is certainly worth the experience, particularly if you've not tried an investigative game of this kind before. It's a one-time experience though - once you've played through it once, there's nothing new to find out.

While a range of convoluted upgrades and currencies add more hurdles than just the ones out on the racetrack, Disney Speedstorm is a dynamic, engaging kart racer at its core, with carefully re-imagined characters that will encourage fans to go the distance.

Tied Together offers fun, co-op, trial-and-error gameplay in its short runtime. The price is a little steep, but few games do co-op platforming this well. The players being tied together brings everyone closer for decision-making and that’s a recipe for great fun.

A fun experience whilst it lasts, Urban Trial Playground provides some solid motorbike action on the Switch. The sunny setting is the perfect backdrop for this laid-back, yet sufficiently challenging game.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition teeters on the precipice of being a must-have JRPG, but is, unfortunately, let down by a myriad of story-related issues. Thematics and pacing complaints aside, however, there’s certainly plenty of content here to keep JRPG enthusiasts thoroughly entertained.

Packing in all the DLC content, Electronic Super Joy has a ton to offer gamers who don’t shy away from challenging platformers. Boasting a loud and fast-paced soundtrack, dizzying visuals, and fine-tuned gameplay, this title still stands tall four years on.

Poly Bridge provides to the player an extremely in-depth tool-set that is only limited by creativity, or, in quite a few cases, understanding of the mechanics. For those hungry to build bridges, it's an essential purchase. If you don't like the look of the challenge however, it may be water under the bridge.
