Game Builder Garage takes Nintendo’s magic and adds charm to game-building tools to offer an incredibly powerful minigame creator. Sadly, the lack of discovery undermines the games you’ll create, making it a curiosity instead of a must-have.- Switch Player

Vaporum is a deep, unique take on a dungeon crawler that melds the grimy, steampunk aesthetic of BioShock with methodical, cerebral controls and combat. The plentiful options for customisation mixed with the great character designs and overall mood make it worth playing for genre fans.- Switch Player

Warlock’s Tower doesn’t set the world alight, but it delivers a Game Boy-like retro experience which gives a fuzzy sense of nostalgia. It’s worth a look.- Switch Player

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series offers players a nostalgic look at a relatively unknown platformer with a cult following. This is undoubtedly the best way to experience these games, even if they are priced a little too high.- Switch Player

At first glance, Aces of the Luftwaffe – Squadron doesn’t seem to be much more than a solid shoot ‘em up with a cartoonish art style. It does add some little twists to the formula though, and, despite its minor performance issues, it delivers a fun arcade experience that fits perfectly on a handheld, and gets better with friends.- Switch Player

Miitopia is an RPG adventure that uses Miis as a way to let players express themselves. Despite choosing to simplify some of the classic mechanics, it does offer goofy and funny moments for those willing to pay its increased price.- Switch Player

Stranger’s Wrath’s HD port feels a little dated despite the performance improvements, but it’s still a blast to play. The charming characters, impressive worldbuilding and unique gameplay design pull through to offer up perhaps the best version of this Oddworld entry.- Switch Player

With a strong focus on the narrative department, Relicta presents an enjoyable first-person puzzler experience where you need to bend the gravity rules. If you can ignore a few technical issues, you may find a relic in the rough.- Switch Player

Rustler won’t win any prizes for originality, but it largely succeeds in aping the GTA format and infusing it with all things medieval. Could the technical performance be better? Yes, but where else can you ride horseback with a beatboxing bard?- Switch Player

SEGA AGES Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is the best, most complete version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 to this very date. However, it does not necessarily need to exist, with copious amounts of ports having already been released prior.- Switch Player

Pokémon Quest is a perfectly serviceable distraction before the Let's Go games arrive later this year. It certainly wont be to everyone's taste, but gamers clamouring for a new adventure in the franchise will be surprised at its level of depth and charm.- Switch Player

Automachef is a slow and methodical puzzle game that is at times unfriendly due to the lack of tutorial. Nevertheless, it can be quite rewarding to try things yourself and learn all the rules when creating a mind-bending food factory.- Switch Player

Vampire’s Fall: Origins is a huge game filled with quests galore that will keep you busy for hours. Performance issues should have been resolved but overall do not detract from a fun RPG made by fans for fans.- Switch Player

Fans of retro gaming will revel in Mr Tako’s adorable take on Game Boy style and gameplay. But, despite its qualities, and some well-delivered polish, this game may struggle to win over modern gamers.- Switch Player

The VASARA Collection allows for a kind of time travel back to the golden age of the shoot-em-up genre. The quality of the package is inconsistent overall, but it still delivers a solid experience for the fans.- Switch Player

Dungeon Escape is a game that absolutely nails its core concept and mechanics, resulting in a very playable, addictive, and positively frustrating experience. Unfortunately, there’s very little added value, and some flaws prevent it from being an essential purchase.- Switch Player

The Flame in the Flood comes to fill the survival genre gap on Switch. With a unique and enjoyable art style and soundtrack, it is a very brutal experience, that may not hit the target due to a cluttered inventory and crafting systems, but still delivers a poignant adventure.- Switch Player

Runner3 is a thoroughly enjoyable return to form for Commander Video and friends, both as an advancement of the long-running indie series and its debut on Switch. Some minor, frustrating setbacks hold it back from greatness, but the rhythmic platforming the series is known for is present and as dynamic as ever.- Switch Player

Atelier Lulua ~The Scion of Arland~ keeps the same basic combat system that old-school JRPG fans may enjoy, but adds a welcoming twist to how you progress through the campaign. It is one of the best titles from the series available on Switch, and works well as a stand-alone title.- Switch Player

It's a welcome return for Bomberman with an unwelcome price, but you will have a lot of fun with the game - especially with others. For me it isn't the best game in the series, but if you've never played it before that won't matter. If you are looking for a party style game or just something different, then Super Bomberman R is worth a look.- Switch Player

1-2-Switch is guaranteed to generate more than a few laughs in social situations, even if some of the games will only be played once or twice. It's definitely THE title to show off the Switch's features, if you wanted to show them off. It lacks any real long term sustenance, though, and definitely should have been a pack in.- Switch Player

Children of Silentown will be a polarising game, mainly because of the point-and-click nature. But with a compelling storyline, attractive visuals, and excellent reuse of location, adventurers who don’t mind a bit of trial and error are well served here.- Switch Player
