Defense Grid 2 is a good tower defense, with a simple control system and immediate mechanics which unfortunately are also the biggest limitation of the production. The game is missing the new and bold ideas that usually make the difference, and relying solely on the community may not have been a winning choice.

id's back with a funny shooter, filled with content and good ole first person shootin' made in Texas. It could've been much better with more polish and fewer half-cooked ideas though, probably a sign that 5 years out of a fast growing market is way too much.

Napoleon: Total War it's really similar to its predecessor Empire, for better of for worse. Built on a much shorter temporal span, it changes the perspective on the management section of the game while many little improvements on almost every aspects make this the best chapter in the series but the lack of innovation inevitably lowers overall evaluation. Suggested to all strategy lovers unreservedly.

Deadlink is a refreshing and intoxicating roguelite fps that we cannot avoid recommending. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is, without a doubt, the ultimate game for any Dragon Ball fan. The combat system not only builds on the classic PS2 games but enhances them significantly, making each battle feel as close as possible to the epic confrontations seen in the original anime and manga. The game modes are impressive as well; the story mode, in particular, holds some delightful surprises, while the Custom Battle mode promises plenty of replay value—just to name a few highlights from the single-player content. Add to this an immense character roster and numerous little touches that fans will appreciate. Of course, there are some flaws, especially in terms of character balancing, but if you’re a devoted Dragon Ball fan, rest assured—this game was made with you in mind.

Despite a rather limited budget and a questionable balance between puzzles and combat, Dungeons of Hinterberg offers an original and very enjoyable vision of the dungeon crawler concept, interposing a narrative that is anything but banal and surprisingly deep dialogues to the exploration and dynamics typical of the genre. If taken as a pure and simple dungeon crawler, Curve Games' work is just another colorful proposal in a rather crowded market - and populated by structurally and mechanically more valid congeners -, but the mix of typical elements of this type of game and snippets of everyday life, with a protagonist who is easy to identify with, makes the proposal of the Austrian team Microbird Games unique.

F1 25 is a solid entry in the series, making clear progress in the visual department and introducing meaningful improvements to the handling model, especially for those using a steering wheel. The enhanced track detail and the full integration of Icons into Career and My Team modes enrich the gameplay experience. The return of Braking Point, with its engaging narrative and well-executed motion capture cutscenes, also adds depth to the overall package. However, the game doesn't mark a true revolution compared to F1 24. Some core mechanics remain largely the same, and while the driving physics are more refined, they still fall short of delivering a true simulation feel.
