Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy offers an excellent linear single player experience. With a great artistic design, a fun combat system and an outstanding script, this new title by Eidos Montreal will greatly satisfy any fan of narrative-focused games. Yes, some aspects like its animations are not up to par, but it doesn't impact its final result. We had a huge smile all the way through this fun game, enjoying its dialogues, its combat and sinking in its marvelous setting. And that's the most important thing to us.

Resident Evil 7 is one of the best survival horror games of recent years. The Bakers are terrifying, the first-person camera works fine and the atmosphere is unique. But, the most important thing is that Resident Evil 7 is the best title in the saga since Resident Evil 4.

Thimbleweed Park is a piece of living videogame history that draws upon nostalgia. Even in 2017, the game teaches us that graphics are not everything; it also shows us where we came from and that this formula is as good today as it was 30 years ago.

Kingdom Come Deliverance II is a sequel that significantly improves upon the original game’s formula, offering major technical enhancements and a narrative accessible to both new and veteran players. The story picks up with Henry from the last point of the 2018 game, using flashbacks and conversations to recap past events. The gameplay stands out for its realistic combat and the memory of NPCs, adding depth and realism. Warhorse Studios has created an immersive experience that could be a strong contender for GOTY 2025.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is not only a worthy successor to the 2019 installment, but with certain tweaks here and there, it manages to offer a superior experience to its predecessor. Its varied campaign, a multiplayer full of options at a high level and a fantastic technical section make Infinity Ward's game a must for fans of the genre.

Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night is pure hardcore Igavania. The game is so well executed, so beautifully done, so plenty of content it shows how talented Koji Igarashi's team still is and how great genres and great games will never be forgotten. Despite its bugs, Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night is easily one of the best games from Castlevania's family.

If you've ever been interested in the point and click adventure genre, Return to Monkey Island is a must play. You could argue that it feels a bit reiterative of the previous games in the franchise instead of doing "its own thing", but it is hard to critisice it for that reason when it seems to be one of its main goals for veteran fans: to take them on a nostalgic trip towards new oceans.

Wasteland 3 is not a great revolution for the genre or for its franchise itself, but it is one of the main references of an old school of role playing that helped define the foundations that the rest of the proposals have followed since the 80s. There is care and talent in the construction of its world, its stories and its dialogues, as in the rest of the RPG elements, although it is slightly weighed down by a not very striking finish and various technical problems.

Metro Exodus is considerably larger, more varied and equally as fun as the previous games. Although we sometimes miss the claustrophobia of the underground tunnels, the open worlds present more tactical action variety and allows us to know much more of the background of this nuclear future that seems so real that it is scary to think about.

Monster Hunter Wilds maintains its core essence of hunting and forging, but it seems directed at a new audience, softening the difficulty and removing challenges like the Elder Dragons. While enjoyable, it may seem less challenging to veterans, with much of the exciting content postponed for a future expansion. The innovations shine in the game, but the lack of difficulty may demotivate experienced players from utilizing the variety of tools at their disposal, leaving a bittersweet taste as we await updates that will motivate continued hunting.

New Star GP lands as early access on Steam. An indie game based on F1. With its colorful graphics and cartoon style invite us to relive 5 decades of the premier category of motorsport, has a championship mode and story mode quite characteristic and eleborado to be the style of game that is. As well as a fairly easy physics and accessible to all audiences. Although not everything is good, as it would lack something more game modes and you can select the difficulty of the AI, as it can be somewhat easy. [Early Access Score = 82]
