Darkest Dungeon truly is a dark game thanks to its atmosphere and gameplay, but once we are familiar with its mechanics it’s as absorbing as satisfying. It is one of the best Xbox One RPGs.

I feel that Grounded was able to take advantage of its long trial period to provide the content that was missing in its initial version. The changes in the quality of life, the fact that the swimming mechanics have been added, having a whole new biome with new enemies, improvements in construction, among other things, contributed to enrich the survival side of Grounded to make it one of the first options for fans of the genre. In addition, the narrative content of the game has enriched it in such a way that now you have an interesting story that you discover the more you explore and a real mission: to return to your natural state, escaping the limitations of measuring an inch. Visually the game stands out for its art, graphics and lighting. Sonically it doesn't disappoint either.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Ultimate Edition is the definitive version of the Obsidian game that saw the light in 2018. Now on consoles it comes with all its content, the main game and its three DLC Beast of Winter, Seekeer, Slayer, Suvivor and The Forgotten Sanctum. This second installment improves everything that the first Pillars of Eternity brought us with a new multi-class system and the implementation of new and epic naval battles and crew management.

The Little Acre is a reminder of “point and click” classics like Broken Sword or Monkey Island. Despite its few technical errors, The Little Acre brings us a touching and nostalgic story. Pewter Games Studios has created a well though-out game, with a memorable plot and some unforgettable characters.

In short, Kentucky Route Zero is an amazing indie, a game that is not for everyone because of the number of lines of text shown on the screen and, in some way, a very different title to everything else we have played in the last years. His narrative of sometimes somewhat complex but the immersion that he achieves on the part of the player in the 10 or 12 hours that it takes to complete it is total. It is certainly a highly recommended experience for those looking for an introspective adventure that makes them reflect.

Blair Witch is a great horror experience. It's frightening and agonizing. It takes us back to our deeper fears. Despite not being technically impressing, gameplay and story manage to shine. Bloober Team shows us, once more, why is one of the best horror studios in the whole videogame industry.

The Death of the Outsider is a fantastic stand-alone expansion that plunges us back into the dark world of Dishonored by focusing its attention on one of the most iconic characters in the series. A highly enjoyable game in each moment that inherits the best of the saga, its brutal gameplay and freedom of action, but we expected more ambition and depth in its proposal.

Mages of Mystralia is game that has very clear intentions. It presents a very satisfying action-adventure and puzzles game with the good taste of the best classics. It will keep us busy for about 6-8 hours. A game that draws attention thanks to its design and surprises by its deep mechanics of spells.

Ara: History Untold could be the first real-time strategy game capable of standing up to the Civilization series. A very well-crafted product, with priorities that allow for a unique experience, despite the direct relationship with such a specific genre. Its design is very well done, its execution is brilliant, and it is capable of captivating us with its battles and landscapes. Diverse, challenging, and entertaining, one of those games that takes us to a new dimension where we wish time would really stand still. It is a game that all strategy lovers should play.

The foundations that F1 23 lays are unbeatable. The gameplay brings us the best driving experience we can have with an F1 game. F1 World ends up being an addition that completely changes the perception that we can have of the game and that will hook everyone, achieving what they failed to do last year with F1 Life. However, the final result is marred by its technical issues.

Battlefield V is not a big audiovisual step up from Battlefield 1, nor does it have a great campaign or important new game modes. But in return it brings us the best multiplayer in the series in playable terms and the promise of Tides of War: the free and regular updates of the game with new content and features.

Outward is an RPG that feels very classic, and even that is a good thing, in certain sections maybe not so much. Controls, quick access menus and combat are rough and unintuitive. On the other hand, the rest of the sections shine with their own light. The title offers a role and survival experience like few others, with a careful fictitious world in which to immerse yourself.

After Us is much more than a game. It is an ode to second chances and to life. A process of healing from mistakes, and building a better future. If we want to, we can. That is the message that we take with us with Piccolo Studio's title. The exploration and immersion, with a beautiful and outstanding artistic design, make the experience of playing After Us, a memory that will stay with you forever. With a powerful message that will touch the hearts of many and not only Gaia. For all this, After Us is a game that deserves to be played by many and above all, enjoyed.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War aims for a more classic experience within the sub-saga, after the previous experiments. A very compact and complete game at its three levels: campaign, multiplayer and zombies. In addition it is well optimized for Xbox Series X and S, with special mention to the 120 fps.

Fuga is a game that has a lot to offer you if you like turn-based strategy video games. It's fun, deep in story and mechanics, and full of playable options. Although in the long run it can get repetitive and the chapters too long. All in all, I feel it is a highly enjoyable game. The difficulty spikes found in boss battles can be frustrating. So it can be a demanding game at least while you fully understand its mechanics.

Marvel's Midnight Suns has been an amazing surprise. This strange mixmatch between an Xcom and a Bioware Game using Marvel characters had all the elements to become some kind of Frankenstein monster, but instead, we find an addictive mixture of genres that, also, give us one of the best combat systems in the RTS genre.

It's great to see Obsidian again in a genre where it knows how to do things so well, with a project that is among the most anticipated games of the year. The Outer Worlds is not perfect, it is limited and its formula outdated in some aspects, but it fulfills all that it promises. A new first-person role-playing adventure with an interesting narrative, charismatic characters, brilliant conversations and hundreds of playable possibilities where everyone can be whoever they want to be.

New Star GP lands as early access on Steam. An indie game based on F1. With its colorful graphics and cartoon style invite us to relive 5 decades of the premier category of motorsport, has a championship mode and story mode quite characteristic and eleborado to be the style of game that is. As well as a fairly easy physics and accessible to all audiences. Although not everything is good, as it would lack something more game modes and you can select the difficulty of the AI, as it can be somewhat easy. [Early Access Score = 82]
