Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is an exciting re-release of the first game of a RPG series that demonstrates that shows for both new and old fans that many of the elements that captivated them were present from the very beginning. Despite being limited by all its simplicity, the title is a lot of fun during its relatively short length.

Bud Spencer & Terence Hill - Slaps and Beans 2 is a tribute to fans of Bud and Terence, whose nostalgia and references to the famous duo provide the necessary quality to conquer a space among indie games focused on the retro pixel art style. The unique characteristics full of humor, associated with the dynamics between protagonists and antagonists, is the difference that signals the game's extravagant personality.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is not exactly an example of innovation within the farming management genre, but it beautifully summarizes all the main qualities of the franchise in a charming and addictive way.

Ultros is a nice journey through colors and sound effects; a relaxing journey that inspires the preservation of life and its renewal. However, it could be a memorable experience if it were better balanced in some of its aspects.

In a clearly more refined version compared to its original release, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is still heavy, cold, and brutal, knowing exactly what it intends to convey to its audience. The result of a complicated development process due to the context of its developers, it ends up reflecting an uninviting, almost old-fashioned pessimism, resulting in a deep, challenging, and complex game, but one that is also too raw and faithful to concepts that may not appeal to everyone.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a remake that retains only a small essence of the original work. Despite being quite faithful to the story, some script decisions leave something to be desired, and the secondary content, with the exception of Daddy Rank, goes from something new to just "more of the same." Dark Ties is an interesting addition, but it could also have a better-developed story. On the other hand, the gameplay of both titles remains fluid and with fun new combat styles to master. The final experience is somewhat bittersweet, being a remake well below the original, but one that provides many hours of fun.

Arcadegeddon is a good game that knows what it wants to do and manages to deliver it with relative success. Despite a few technical issues and limited content at launch, it's easy to spend hours having fun with friends. Unfortunately, the solo experience leaves a lot to be desired.

With zero marketing and a troubled launch, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 raises some questions about how serious Sony is about its PC strategy. Luckily for us (and Sony), Nixxes is a fast and efficient studio that almost immediately addressed the issues and brought stability to this version of the game.

Manic Mechanics is a simple, fun, chaotic cooperative game that relies on some innovations during gameplay that highlight its competence. By avoiding excess, it delivers family content full of entertainment, as well as an accessible solo experience.

Technically, this Painkiller reboot is a great success, boasting beautiful visuals and mind-blowing, fluid, challenging, and energetic gameplay. Its biggest problem is that it resembles the current vision of DOOM more than its own origins, which has cost it its identity in favor of a more generic and shallow market vision.

ArcRunner offers an immersive roguelite action experience, with a variety of classes and difficulty modes, as well as multiplayer mode. Although it faces obstacles in terms of usability due to its unfriendly interface and the lack of clarity in some of its mechanics, the game could reach its full potential with some adjustments and offer a more rewarding experience for players.

Technical issues affect both the performance and visual quality of Wild Hearts to a considerable degree. However, the visual style, the gameplay structure, the great use of Karakuri for hunting and exploration, as well as the very good co-op make it a fun and original title. If you have the patience to wait for updates and the technical problems to be resolved, it is certainly a great option in the hunting genre.

Godbreakers doesn't try to redefine the roguelite genre, but it brings satisfactory combat mechanics in an otherwise linear and repetitive journey. It's a more enjoyable experience when played in co-op with one or more friends.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series brings back all the features we've seen before in Telltale games, both the good and the questionable. The transmedia text is great, and the rhizomatic bifurcations look promising, but combat and exploration systems remain shallow and unappealing. For fans of the genre and/or the franchise, a treat. For others, not so much.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution is an incredibly immersive and rich post-apocalyptic experience. However, its high degree of realism is exactly one of its negative points. Another problem is that it’s basically mandatory to play its predecessor. The summary presented is not enough to understand everything that happened and make you care about the characters.

Mea Culpa brings a lot of good content to Blasphemous 2, especially for those who want to relive the experience of a new campaign. For those who prefer to focus only on the paid content, the return of the legendary Penitent's sword and the addition of new areas and challenges guarantee a few hours of fun, despite leaving the impression of being a short expansion.

Combining ingenious ideas with practical simplicity, Lovish has dozens of short stages that need to be played multiple times to uncover their various secrets. The vibrant music, the cynical comedy of playing as a petty knight, and the many references to the video games universe add extra charm to an adventure that is charismatic, silly, and will appeal to fans of retro action platformers.

Marvel MaXimum Collection revives an important chapter in the history of the publisher's adaptations prior to their rise to popularity in theaters, featuring six games with the strengths and limitations typical of their era. While the selection is interesting, the quality-of-life features could be more generous, as seen in other similar initiatives. On the other hand, the curation of supplementary material is exemplary, making the package a great option, especially for those who have an emotional connection to the works and the generation to which they belong.

Undisputed, despite its flaws, knows that investing in licenses of great boxers is a necessity for a game of this genre and uses this to its advantage, combining the use of images of timeless stars from the ring, a gameplay model as varied as possible for a boxing game, and visuals that live up to expectations. If it's not a devastating knockout, it at least guarantees a good points victory.

LUNAR Remastered Collection offers two classic JRPGs from PS1 with improved anime scenes and some quality-of-life options that, while discreet, are gladly welcome. The visuals have received only minimal, almost imperceptible touch-ups, but both games remain adventures that stand out for their naive and charismatic heroism, typical of their times. These are two games that find their strength in the honest and engaging simplicity of saving a beautiful fantasy world with sword and magic.

With a well executed retro personality, Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan is a 2D platform adventure with lots of challenges and items to find. The protagonist could be a little more agile, but, in general, the game does its job of revisiting past styles and improving them well.

Forgotten at the bottom of the trunk, Cannon Dancer Osman is a piece of history brought back to new platforms for the first time. The visuals will please pixel art connoisseurs and the intense gameplay is simple and fun as an arcade title should be. The many quality of life improvement options are welcome and even allow you to configure slightly different ways to play, but this help can end up making the enjoyment even shorter than it actually is. In the end, it's a game recommended for the nostalgic, the curious and those who intend to play a very brief campaign over and over again, improving their technique with each quick attempt to reach the end.

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is a good game adapting an anime, but a relatively shallow Action RPG. Although there is a lot of content here (especially if you are a fan of the franchise), the game only recreates the anime's narrative, the combat is too simple and its most unique mode ends up tiring due to its repetitiveness.

In its original form, Red Dead Redemption is nearly perfect in all its key aspects, such as narrative, gameplay, and artistic concept. The 2023 PS4 remaster was timid in updating definition and performance, but did enough to introduce it to a new generation and fill a gap for longtime fans. All of this is now confirmed by the native PlayStation 5 version, with its 4K at 60fps with HDR, things that seem like little – and in a way, they are – but which at least offer the most solid, beautiful, and stable experience possible for one of the greatest classics in gaming history.
