Mr. Run and Jump is an excellent example of how simplicity enhances an experience. With great gameplay and level design, its focus on delivering a good 2D platformer is clear and should entertain even the most demanding fan of the genre.

However, there are a lot of technical issues and there are no major innovations here. Although it is quite enjoyable and fun for the most part, there is no revolutionary content in Retro Forge's debut game.

Star Ocean: The Divine Force is both a love letter to what the series once was and a reflection on what its future might look with the power of current gen consoles. While the story and gameplay excite players and bring an unexpected depth, it falls short of its potential thanks to its technical limitations.

#BLUD offers an immersive experience with a captivating narrative. The cartoonish art provides a pleasant look that reminds you of watching a cartoon. The fluid gameplay and exploration elements are reminiscent of classic games, but with a pleasing modernity. The effective soundtrack in moments of suspense adds to the immersion. However, right now, the game is hampered by significant technical problems, such as crashes and loss of progress, which are expected to be fixed in future updates. In short, #BLUD is fun and immersive, but it needs technical improvements to reach its full potential.

Sonic Origins Plus is an interesting package in theory, but it doesn't add enough relevant content. Amy is definitely cool to be playable, but her moves are pretty simple. And Game Gear games are a good way to remember the past (even with the strange sound), but it's inexplicable not having Master System games. PS: the score reflects the entire package with the base game and not just the DLC.

The graphics are good and the animations are excellent. The soundtrack is impeccable. The game delivered by Tengo Project is exemplary in many departments, but some questionable implementations and the lack of online co-op and content compromises the overall experience.

The Making of Karateka is a history lesson. A complete package for those who want to get to know Jordan Mechnerâ's first works. The "making of" part is great and bringing the different versions is essential for preservation. However, for those looking for gameplay and don't care about this historical side, you may be disappointed that we basically only have two very short games. In addition, there are no support for Brazilian Portuguese, which makes accessibility to the "making of" material difficult in our country.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a beautiful example of adaptation and a clear evolution compared to the first game in the series. The sequel greatly expands the cast, refines the exploration, narrative, and combat systems, and offers the best visuals the subgenre can currently achieve.

WitchSpring R is a great game. It is quite light and accessible, without a very striking story but delivers a fun and challenging gameplay loop that will keep the player entertained for dozens of hours.

The DLC adds an extra layer of challenge to the game's standard, and its content is robust and valuable, expanding and complementing this rich, innovative, and intriguing universe that deserves to be explored.

MLB The Show 24 is a great baseball simulator and one of the most competent sports games on the market. This year's Storylines are excellent and the new features in Road to the Show add a lot to the solo experience, even if there is a lack of novelty in other modes.

Persona 3 Reload - Episode Aigis: The Answer is the perfect epilogue to one of the best games of the year. The DLC offers an exceptional narrative about loss, grief, and moving on that brings the characters to a close, while also bringing more of the combat and exploration that make the game so special.

DNF Duel is a good game with beautiful graphics and accessible mechanics. The cast of characters is relatively varied and the modes are what we currently expect from a fighting title. Online is great with its netcode via rollback, although there is no cross-play. DNF Duel's biggest problem is perhaps its lack of innovation and being too simple in its essence.

Watcher Chronicles isn't a groundbreaking game and doesn't focus on story or narrative, but the combat and its soulslike RPG characteristics are satisfying. The fun is guaranteed both playing alone and in multiplayer – a mode with coherent adaptations that make the game more dynamic to be played in pairs, despite the limitations for the second player.

This War of Mine: Final Cut is a great provocation for each of us regarding the effects and feelings that result from extreme situations such as a state of armed conflict. Technical improvements and supplemental content add to the base material, and even with some troubles in the gameplay, it remains impactful and, perhaps, even more necessary than ever.

Years after releasing games from established franchises or western indies, Square Enix took a different direction with impressive new Japanese titles. The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story was a surprise. And a great one.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon has excellent gameplay and with numerous possibilities to assemble your mecha and style of play. However, it is also a title that does not fulfill its potential with the story, with the online and it has a series of decisions that could make the experience more enjoyable. It's certainly a great game, but it could have reached a much higher level of excellence.

Astronite is that game that you're not going to call it amazing or your favorite but it is not bad either. It can be just another simple metroidvania to play during the weekend.

Forspoken is a unique game, with a very distinct gameplay, setting and story that compose a very fun and interesting experience. It suffers with its short duration, problemactic camera, lack of variety in side missions and it needs a few adjustments to its gameplay, but its one of the most beautiful games on the PS5 so far and a title that deserves everyone's attention.

SaGa Emerald Beyond is another good step for the series, evolving the ideas seen in its predecessor and delivering a fun RPG based on freedom and challenge. A few missteps prevent it from being even more memorable, but it's a game that will please both fans of the series and curious newcomers.

Pacific Drive is an intriguing survival title that appeals to the player's unknown and curiosity, with unique and engaging moments. By mixing vehicles and survival, Ironwood Studios gets its proposal and boldness right.

Sonic Frontiers manages to mix what we expect from a Sonic game with an open world full of collectibles. The gameplay is great, the soundtrack is fantastic and the graphics are good. The title lacks in the difficulty, story and in the visuals of the cutscenes.

Quick and to the point, Musashi vs Cthulhu doesn't provide any contextualization to justify the meeting of these two worlds. But it makes up for its lack of narrative with addictive, sharp and very precise gameplay in search of that extra point in the world rankings or the personal satisfaction of reaching a little bit further.
