Wildermyth: Console Edition is one of the best digital representations of traditional tabletop RPGs. The way the campaigns and character development work guarantees hours of gameplay and makes you feel attached to your heroes and the great stories of the Yondering Lands. It's a shame that technical issues ruin part of the experience.

Copycat is a touching experience that invites us to see the world through the eyes of Dawn, a kitten scarred by trauma who seeks to understand her place and purpose in the world. With simple yet varied gameplay, the focus here is not on complex mechanics, but rather on offering a narrative that moves, comforts, and makes us reflect on the true meaning of home.

The Last Faith steps into the ambivalence of familiarity: while it fulfills its promise of aptly mixing metroidvania and soulslike, it never really surprises or innovates. Although the campaign is challenging, its good pace of shortcuts, fast travel and leveling up pushes us to advance further and further through its gothic world of beautifully detailed pixel art.

Hidden Cats in Tokyo is the best title in the series, featuring the illustrations of playful creativity and much more content than its predecessors. It's lighthearted and simple fun, packed with interesting details that make it great for relaxing or enjoying with children.

While far from perfect, My Hero Academia: All's Justice smooths out some of the rough edges seen in its two predecessors, presenting a simple yet polished combat system for this type of adaptation. With rich visuals and great fidelity to the original material, the game stumbles on minor details, such as the camera and environment interaction or complementary exploration modes, but none of this detracts from the genuine fun of experiencing firsthand the conclusion of one of the greatest cultural products of the last decade.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a game that should be enjoyed in the right "vibe". It brings back a sense of nostalgia for the 90s, while also having a plot that manages to hook us in. The character development is solid and creates bonds with the player. There are some technical issues that patches could fix, as well as some slow moments in the narrative. But, in other words, if you liked the other DON'T NOD narrative games, it's hard not to like this one. [Review based on TAPE 1: BLOOM]

Trails to Azure is one of those games that, when finished, sticks with you for a long time. One of the most fun experiences you can have in a turn-based RPG, this entry is a must-have for all fans of the series and a powerful conclusion to the Crossbell arc. Just keep in mind that, unfortunately, the PS4 version should be avoided if possible.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is a side-scrolling beat'em up that basically restarts the franchise respecting its roots, valuing the classic style of the genre and updating specific concepts that guarantee the reference for old school fans. At the same time, it proves to be a beautiful gateway for new fans of good old-fashioned beatings in the best pixel art style.

FLASHOUT 3 is a good racing game, its mechanics are well executed and the challenging AI keeps players engaged so they are always trying to master the tracks and upgrade their ships. Its smaller scope may make the title seem average at first glance, but fans of the genre can find some good hours of fun.

PGA Tour 2K23 is a good evolution from the previous games in the series, delivering an awesome golf simulation, a good improvement in its technical aspects and a good Career mode for solo players. Its only issues are the lack of more elaborate multiplayer modes, but it’s undeniable that this is a franchise on the rise.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is a great production derived from the franchise full of good hits. As an action RPG, it's dynamic, fast and has a lot of style, even if it suffers from a not always inspired story and a certain aesthetic pollution. The combat diversity guarantee high fun from beginning to end of the campaign.

Stellar Blade on PC isn't going to win any awards for best graphics of the year, but it's a decent port and a good opportunity to try out a game with good combat and gameplay - even if everything else is questionable.

In Cocoon, the strangely beautiful alien setting is a meticulously well-done job that, in general, compensates for the minimalism of the almost non-existent narrative structure. The journey is filled with puzzles that work with the elegant cohesion of a living organism, flowing in an experience that, on the one hand, is harmonious and rich, but, on the other, is simpler and more contained than it should be.

The practical lack of a good narrative construction and the divisive visuals can be scary, but there is no doubt that ROBOBEAT is an unexpected well-balanced mix of classic FPS, rhythm and roguelike, with the fluid and addictive gameplay cycles as its greatest and most competent asset.

Overall, the Redout 2 experience was mind-blowing due to its speed and excellent mechanics. But it was also frustrating because of some paths, some events in campaign mode, and the inconsistent AI. It is certainly one of the best and most complete packages in the genre today and a highly recommended title for racing fans and those who like a good challenge.

Promenade is delicate, light and full of life, without being simple or silly. With beautiful visuals and sharp mechanics, the game features a series of intriguing and challenging tasks that value the player's ability to deal with problems, thus offering a fun and rewarding experience.

Nuclear Blaze bets on a simple concept to deliver an intense and surprising experience. It doesn't offer more than a few hours and ends when it seems to be reaching a point of maturity, it's true, but considering the initial proposal and its execution, as well the good looking visuals and soundtrack, it can found a space of affection for enthusiasts of a creative old school platform game.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is an important collection due to its historical value. But, overall, the highlights are Capcom vs SNK 2 and perhaps the two Power Stone games. The rest of the games aren't attractive enough to make the collection a must-have.

Harold Halibut may not be the most innovative game in terms of world intervention mechanics, in addition to having some slip-ups in the rhythm of the narrative, but it is undeniable that the sum of its powerful story and spectacular artistic style make this one of the games most irresistible in recent times.

Aware of its ambitions, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire avoids delving too deeply into complex mechanics or sophisticated exploration and progression structures, but there's no doubt it manages to blend the "rubber hose" aesthetic with the creation of an undeniably immersive noir atmosphere. The audiovisual excellence, which articulates a spectacular sound design with cohesive art direction, underpins a solid first-person shooter - even if its gameplay is not very innovative - finding a good balance between inspiration and originality.

Fairy Tail 2 is a good RPG that excellently adapts the events of the last arc of the manga/anime. It's a real treat for fans with its good combat system and good character representation, although its technical limitations hinder the game's potential.

Endling: Extinction is Forever is narrative focused and has a good story. Its repetitive mechanics, however, can make the game tiring and difficult to play for many hours in a row. Even so, it’s worth it; although quite sad, it has a proportionate characteristic beauty.

New Star GP is a fun title that focuses on simplicity, but still innovates with its retro aesthetics and some additional choices that offer depth and a feeling of accessibility when controlling the vehicle on challenging tracks. The game allows current players to experience the past, embracing simplicity and the spirit of overcoming as drivers.

With its revamped stealth mechanics and refined aesthetics, Directive 8020 offers a clear evolution of the genre, but continues to reaffirm some of the limitations, particularly in terms of interaction, inherited from the first season of the anthology. With excellent references, the story (along with the excellent work of the cast) remains its best quality, with good pacing, great development, and important turning points that, while not escaping old cliches, still work very well.

The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is the typical game that could be underestimated at first glance and that, without warning, captures us in a gripping way and makes us want more. If it has its shortcomings in terms of battle and graphical composition, it makes up for it with precise design and a brave, bold and captivating story.

Perhaps John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is far from offering anything new in a market already quite saturated with cooperative shooters for up to four people against demonic enemies. But this may be its greatest virtue, as the game refines everything that came before and, as a result, offers a light, balanced and an enjoyable adventure, especially playing alongside good friends.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins - Visions of Four Heroes is a good DLC for fans of the base game and the genre, bringing new scenarios, weapons, and companions that will please veterans. Its amount of content more than justifies its existence, even if the price is a bit steep.
