There is still some Wolfenstein magic in the air. It's a good shooter, with an extra touch of veil magic. The story may be a bit too short, but it's so fun to vaporize Nazis!

This game has it all, weird bosses, old school 2D sprite graphics and satisfactory droid destruction. A sweet blast from the past that reminds us about the glory days of the Megadrive (Genesis). You can't go wrong with Gunstar Heroes.

Despite the high budget Bionic Commando never manages to swing high enough, mainly due to the steep learning curve and troublesome controls. It's still quite a good game, just not as fantastic as we'd hoped.

Cellfactor: Psychokinetic Wars is not a bad game, but we've seen it all before. I have a hard time imagining that anyone will still be playing this online in a few months. There are better online-FPS on PSN (Warhawk, for example) and even though Cellfactor is affordable, it is still nothing special for the hardcore FPS fan.

EyePet is probably the best game for children on the PS3 right now. With no violence and lots of small tasks to perform together with your furry friend it's suitable for children from 5 and up. Although some basic knowledge in English is good, it works fine if an adult explains what is not already expressed by the good professor.

Easily accessible arcade action, with hilarious multiplayer modes. Doesn't captivate the player for much longer than a few hours though, but it's fun while it lasts.

A strong 5 or a weak 6? The end result doesn't really change the fact that - although I somewhat enjoyed playing Sacred 2 - it contains way too many bugs and is far too repetitive and unengaging to sparkle among the higher numbers. But if you really like role playing games it may be worth the effort.

As a whole, SingStar ABBA contains 25 well known songs from the Swedish super-group. Even though the SingStar series is losing steam quickly, with a lack of wireless microphones and interesting SingStore options, this conceptual title manages to impress with its videos and slick presentation. Recommended for all ABBA fans out there.

MotoGP 09/10 is well made and really rewards players who really learn to control their bike. However, an enthusiasm towards motorbike racing is recommended, and the steep learning curve means that casual multiplayer is out of the question.

If you're a fan of tricky action packed and past-faced tennis, then look the other way. Virtua Tennis 2009 is an arcade game, period. The game is to easy, extremely boring, and has very little content compared to its 2 year old predecessor. Add a useless net code and you've got yourself a huge $60 dollar disappointment.

Wet had the potential to be a hit, but despite its high quality appearance and well-crafted settings the game fails to engage the player, mainly due to the hideous controls.

It may not be very original, and the framerate isn't very good, but at the end of the day this is an entertaining game for both kids and adults.

The Inferno version of Alone in the Dark deserves a good grade not only because of the additions, but also because the weak parts from the previous version have been improved. Outstanding innovations include the jacket inventory, mediaplayer-like save feature, weapon-combos from household goods and smooth transitions between cutscenes. Some polishing is still in order, with intermittent bugs and badly constructed faces, but overall this is a good effort by Atari.

With its simple Katamari Damacy-like game mechanics and cartoon-like visual style, Tornado Outbreak manages to entertain despite a relatively short campaign and underwhelming graphics.

When NIER dares to take risks and deviate from the norm it really manages to find its own voice. The boss fights, changes of perspective and parts of the story shine, but the experience is sullied somewhat by the uninspired graphics, repetitious gameplay and the slow tempo.

Aqua Panic has some nice ideas, but unfortunately way too many flaws to keep you interested for long. With better balancing of the difficulty, a more visible cursor, less annoying music and more satisfying water physics this would be much easier to recommend.

Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic is a fun little Super Smash Bros clone that is well worth downloading if you feel like beating up your friends. What it lacks in online functionality it makes up for in variation and fun gameplay. It may be a bit boring if you play alone, but it's fun when three of your pals are around.

A great, but not very new puzzle game about a marble and its way towards the goal, The music, the easy playing style and the puzzles all contributes to its greatness, but the camera controls leave a lot to be desired.

Interestingly enough, G-Force manages to avoid many of the obvious traps that most license games fall into, and has a few interesting ideas and pretty nice graphics. But ultimately the game is far too repetitive, and there are many other suitable games for younger players out there.

The simple controls and arcade playability make up for the repetitive gameplay and the low-quality graphics. Both the story and the boss battles make this an enjoyable experience that doesn't need to rely on a movie license to stand on its own two feet.

Hyperballoid HD is more faithful to the long tradition of Pong games, but is slower and not as fun as its nearest competitor Shatter. Both games are surprisingly cheap, though – I see no reason why fans of the genre can’t own both.

This game offers such an immense variety of levels and fun gameplay that you cannot simply ignore it, even as an adult. Kids will absolutely go bananas over the fun characters, the colorful environments and the fun storyline. The only let down is a touch of the soggy control syndrome, but hey - chances are you won't care if you're a 10 year old kid.

The Godfather II brings mob strategy and action together, and does neither thing great. It is still, however, a game you cannot leave that easily – with an interesting gaming concept around made men, intimidation strategies and other mob oriented modes of play.

Fuel was a bit of a disappointment. Yes, the world is large and looks good. Yes, there is a lot to do in this Guinness Book of Records-game. And yes, I like the notion of a free world to do whatever I want in. But the physics and the feeling lack several important pieces for this to be a great game.

As long as Wheelman focuses on car chases it does great, but as soon as you step out of your car the game turns into an embarrassing rip-off of Grand Theft Auto IV.

A monotonous platforming game full of vivid and epileptic colors. "Keeping it simple" was probably the developers motto and the only thing that has any type of emotional similarity to the movie itself is the title. Keep away from adults.

NHL 2K10 is a great arcade game if you just want to play a around with your friends, but once you get deeper into the different playing modes the flaws really start to show.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is quite a decent game that feels like one would expect life at Hogwarts to be like. However, the low difficulty, simple minigames and uninspired graphics detracts from the overall experience somewhat, and the jumps in the storyline requires prior knowledge of what's happened in the movie or the books. Fans might enjoy it, but perhaps they should wait until the price goes down a little first.

3 on 3 NHL Arcade is a fun little hockey tackle game for 2+ persons. Playing solo gets a bit boring after a short while, but with a bunch of friends, in your living room or online, 3 on 3 offers a great deal of entertainment and competition. On the downside the settings have to be configured every time and aren't saved for future sessions, and the music and menu sounds are annoying.

Inferno Pool is fun for a while, but the lack of interesting game modes quickly makes this a shallow game with little replay value down the line.

Despite the slightly too high price tag for such an old game, Diner Dash is a fun puzzle game that suits perfectly every now and then.

Aliens vs Predator has locked its sights completely on James Cameron's movie Aliens from 1986, and makes a real effort to emulate the feeling in the game. And it succeeds to a certain degree in the marine campaign, with claustrophobic firefights and authentic sounds. However, the story is both extremely linear and pretty short, and all we're left with are the multiplayer modes, and though they may be fun they can't carry the entire game on their shoulders.

SuperCar Challenge tries to fill the void between GT Prologue and the upcoming GT5, but is technically at least two years behind. Back then this game could have entertained gamers for hours and hours - now it's just an uninspiring racing game with Tiff Needell as one of its few advantages.

This is a perfect time killing game. It is simple and relatively minimalistic, yet strangely entertaining if you overlook its core gameplay. Heavy Weapon was originally designed for the web, and it shows as it utilizes very little of the power the PS3 has to offer. Sadly, the web is really where this game belongs, not on a cutting edge gaming machine. Save your money, pal.

On the surface Afro Samurai is a masterpiece, but as soon as you take a closer look everything crumbles to pieces. Avoid this game unless you're a fan, and even if you are one you ought to be wary.

Fans of motorbike racing will love this game, with its realistic settings and physics handling. But other players will find themselves torn between the arcade and simulator settings, that are either too easy or too unforgiving, making this a difficult game to get into. Online 12 player races are a blast though.

With its mix of both the settings in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, the latest 007 game manages to stand out from other license games. But only a little, as many other elements - like the graphics, gameplay and online settings - are nothing more than average.

The game starts with a good Contra feeling, but after a while the flaws become apparent. The controls aren't intuitive, the gameplay is too repetitive and far too short, and I can't even find the humour that this game is supposed to be filled with.

With its Genji-like graphics and floaty controls, Dynasty Warriors doesn't impress. The haphazard controls and tedious gaming moments feel as old as the story itself.

White Knight Chronicles: International Edition is a solid role playing game, and the battle system hardly even feels like it's turn based. All the item collecting parts really helps the offline part, but it's the village building and the online gaming that really makes the game fun.

Namco Museum Essentials is exactly what it says it is – a collection of 5 oldschool games and 1 remake. For this kind of money I would either like to have more classics or a few remakes, not a mix of the two. Thumbs up for the stamp system and online score boards, though.

Crystal Defenders is a good game with the advantages of being easy to learn, having lots of of maps and challenging gameplay.On the other hand, the graphics are a bit poor and if you're not in to this type of games it'll soon get a bit boring.

This return to classic tactical multiplayer without vehicles should be welcomed by fans of the series. Newcomers may love it, but without a singleplayer campaign expectations should include readiness to work hard and die a lot. The game looks, sounds and feels nice, headsets work fine, servers are full, and regular patches will hopefully take care of those pesky little bugs.

Revenge of the Wounded Dragons is a good little Double Dragon-fighter that is best (and easiest) when played with a friend. No online mode and a little odd control issues at times still cannot change that this is solid two player entertainment that's well worth its price.

Shaun White Snowboarding doesn't manage to be either a interesting simulation or a fun arcade game, and feels more like a hoverboard game than anything. The bleak graphics and shoddy physics don't help either, and the online modes are the only real saving grace.

The game is better than both the latest movie and the first game, but it gets tiresome to just bash robots for hours on end. However, the control is both easy and advanced at the same time, so kudos for that.

Wakeboarding HD is of those games that's easy to pick-up and play, but this time the easy part also means that it's very good, with great controls and excellent graphics. The only thing bad is the price, which is a tad too steep.

Despite some clever game mechanics and levels, Polar Panic fails to engage for more than short periods at a time. Better controls and a bit more charm could have made this a really fun game, but in its current form it just feels like a competent near-miss.

The terrain alterations in Fracture are more than a gimmick, and actually change the way the game is played in more ways than one. The game promises to change the way we approach obstacles and manages to fulfill that promise completely, making this new-fangled feature one to look out for in future games.

Smash Cars on PSN is a solid and playable game but offers little more than all the other racing games out there. The lack och split screen and the neverending trick frenzy, that can be frustrating at times, make this game a mellow experience that is barely worth its price. Too bad, since it could have been against an adversary in the same couch.

Swedish developer GRIN had obviously lots of ideas and fresh thinking going on, but the realization is poorly executed and the game suffers from lots of glitches and bugs. It still manages to give you quite some fun, even though the main storyline is far too short.

In single player mode, Zombie Apocalypse is not only hard - but it gets a bit boring after a few hours. This game is yet another one of those PSN-games that focuses on smooth multiplayer mechanics, which is welcomed - especially as we get to slaughter zombies.

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game shows that you can spend too much money on looks, and not enough on story, controls or gameplay. All the parts are there, but they're not just connected in a coherent fashion.

Apart from the jetpack moments, Dark Void doesn't bring a lot of new stuff to the table. The unengaging storyline, formulaic action and short game time makes it difficult to motivate choosing this game over any other high quality third person shooter that's been released lately. In 2010 there aren't any excuses for mediocracy.

If you look beyond the fighting parts you'll find a great game for the fans of the series. For all others, the puzzles and the story is still challenging enough for it to be worth your while.

Watchmen: The End is Nigh - Parts 1 and 2 is a decent looking game that is fun for a while, but ultimately it's let down by its repetitive nature. Easy pick-up-and-play and a two-player splitscreen mode can't save this rather shallow experience.

Childrens games have their own merit, but it's unacceptable to dumb down the controls without adding charm, varied gameplay or even some kind of gimmick. Bolt just manages to be an uninspired button-masher with last-gen graphics, and there are many other games out there that suit a younger audience than this.

Battle of Forli consists of lots of fighting, not a lot of sneaking and one big question: what's the reason for not including this in the original game?

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa's many and varied minigames manage to avoid falling into the pit that's usually reserved for license games, and actually delivers an enjoyable experience for both parents and kids.

The core gameplay of King of Fighters XII is quite good, a thing which is quite hard to mess up nowadays. But the total content of the game is seriously dissapointing, having only an arcade mode and a poorly implemented online mode. There's not much extra material to unlock and the environments are few and dull. King of Fighters XII has not taken over the throne of beat 'em up games this time around, making it only appealing to hardcore KOF fans.

Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao's price tag is far too high for the quality it brings, and the difficulty level is off the charts. There are just far too few positive traits in this fighting game to make it worth purchasing.

The games inability to correctly capture the epic moments in the story of Jason is disconcerting, and stops the game from achieving great feats. The roleplaying mechanics are nice, but can't carry the entire game, making this effort a less than Herculean one.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast is a mix of shallow fighting-mechanics, clumsy control and a horrible camera, and caters only to the most hardcore Dragon Ball fans, but even those may come away disappointed.

There aren't that many events to play, but at least they're fun. However, the lack of modes and sports puts this game at a disadvantage.

Topatoi: The Great Tree Story is a time travel back to the days of Gods and The Lost Vikings on the Amiga System. With the innovative gyroscopic machine, the GEMMA, that Raph handles we get a great gaming experience with many interesting challenges. However, the story is too short and perhaps too easy and the arcade mode isn't fun enough to keep you playing after the game has been completed.

Turtles in Time is not aligned with the present. The 90's arcade-style gameplay feels remarkably old, but the nostalgia and fun moments makes up the lack of new content. The game itself however, is well made and fast-paced. Fans and children of the 80's will love it, others will probably only find an ok beat'em up platformer.

Sonic is back, but unfortunately the developers didn't dare to let him star in a all-running racing game, but insisted on adding a superfluous story and roleplaying elements. Could we get a pure Sonic experience next time, please?

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is marred by shoddy graphics, a meagre single-player experience and awkward controls. The only save is the online gaming and the Middle Earth setting, which is somewhat enjoyable.

Where the Wild Things Are is a great book and movie, but it's also a dull video game. The people at Griptonite Games do not seem to put much effort in making our childhood hero Max’ adventure an epic one. This is all kinds of ugly, repetitive and boring.

This first version of Scene It for the PS3 doesn't have a lot of new material, and to make matters worse there isn't even an online mode or localized text. Spend your money on a Buzz! game instead.

Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard is somewhat funny, but not fun. A weak game engine, stupid AI and repetitive gameplay cannot save humour - no matter the quality and depth. Matt Hazard is a Duke Nukem copycat that fails to deliver. Just as the original Duke Nukem, as it turned out in the end.

Pandoras Box has truly been opened by Spark Unlimited. The graphics are sub-par, with immense slowdowns and juttering refresh rates. Also, the online community is nowhere to be found, rendering the multiplayer experience useless.

An open-world game for kids, Planet 51: The Game doesn't have a lot of very serious problems, but being very dull and uninspired is of course the biggest flaw in itself.

It's quite fun during the 2-3 hours this game lasts, but it's not worth the money. And the badly upscaled images are just terrible.

As demoscene veterans we we're intrigued to see what .detuned would bring to the table, but seeing as this really only is a fun graphic equalizer we were appalled to see that there isn't a demo mode where the program moves automatically to the players own music. A wasted opportunity.

A non-commercial license that's been turned into a terrible monster without hardly any positive traits. The cynics within us think that this game was the reason why the entire league broke down.

Frogger has indeed returned but not in such a good shape that it is worth putting money or effort in him. Frogger Returns needs better button controls and new multiplayer game mechanics and can't entirely rely on the old days. I would also very much appreciate if the original game came along the remake per default.

Terminator Salvation is an alright game in itself, but it's hardly worth the cost of a fully priced game, due to the fact that it can be completed in just a few hours, combined with the repetitive nature and uninspired graphics. Only real fans of the Terminator franchise need to buy this now.

Despite the fact that the game is based on a bad movie, Double Helix have managed to create a game that's even worse. The graphics and controls go head to head to see who's the worst, but to be honest they both equally awful.

Many parts of this game seems to be rushed during development. Poor controls and that camera is pretty annoying. On the good sides are the epic music and those great voice actors.

10 hours of gameplay with crazy humour, a fun story, engaging characters and great turn-based rpg action? Yes please!
