Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek will appeal to more casual gamers, the low difficulty and simple controls make this easy to play. As a hidden object game this wont be for everyone, however it does what it does really well and it’s hard to knock it for that.- PlayStation Country

Supermagical is one of the better casual titles on the Vita and will see you burning through your battery once it gets its hooks in. Playable, charming and powerfully addictive, this is well worth the tiny asking price.- PlayStation Country

Pineview Drive has enjoyable moments encased in a repetitive structure that can hamper the tension the visuals and sound design attempt to build. The mansion’s intricate design becomes familiar and appreciable but the persistent grind of key hunting can start to dull what could’ve been a sharper experience.- PlayStation Country

Firefighters – The Simulation is a terrible game in every regard. Its laughable to call this game a simulation, in fact its laughable to call this a game. I experienced no enjoyment in playing this and I doubt anyone else would either.- PlayStation Country

Geki Yabba Runner is a perfectly serviceable runner for the Vita. It has over a hundred levels and offers a ridiculous level of difficulty too. It’s presented really well and offers a decent overall package. For a quick blast every now and again Geki Yabba Runner is a lot of fun.- PlayStation Country

Kill the Bad Guy is a fun concept for a puzzle game but doesn’t fulfill its potential. Unreliable AI and physics make planning foolproof traps a matter of patience and trial and error which quickly becomes tedious.- PlayStation Country

Trials style gameplay but with the hardcore aspects taken out and replaced with fun stunt-based gameplay. MX Nitro is polished and fun and offers great arcade thrills for those of us who like our motorbike action dumbed down a little.- PlayStation Country

Toy Odyssey: The Lost and Found is a highly addictive rogue-lite game, though it does have some problems. Depending on your luck the quest system can slow your progress and you will be seeing the same locations over and over, but upgrading your character and the base makes one more go turn into another hour.- PlayStation Country

Monster Loves You! is a very short visual novel style game with a story which never quite hits the mark. It has a very pleasant style though and bags of charm. How much mileage you’ll get out of this depends on whether you're willing to replay for the multiple endings.- PlayStation Country

Sky Ride is an incredibly vacant experience. It lacks the basic features that you would expect a game in 2017 to have and does nothing to make up for it. You only get one game mode, one map, no menus and a predictable loop that repeats with no variety. It is incredibly shallow for the price and certainly not as exciting as it may seem on paper. Best to avoid this one.- PlayStation Country

Vaccine gives a good initial impression for fans of old school survival horror, but a bad first impression gameplay-wise. Stick with it enough to achieve a good run and you might just see the appeal, but it will depend entirely on luck rather than skill.- PlayStation Country

So Many Me executes well on some clever ideas. The platforming is tricky and tight. Whilst there’s not a lot of time to the package, what’s here is engaging. Sometimes it frustrates and demands intense dexterity but the charming visuals work as a calming influence. Definitely worth recommending if you’re after a compelling platformer with plenty of character.- PlayStation Country

Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride is another hidden object puzzle game from Artifex Mundi. If you’ve played any before then you know exactly what to expect here as not a lot has changed. If you haven’t then if you can get over playing a game that would not look out of place on your phone on your PS4 then you can gain some enjoyment out of the sedate gameplay and light puzzles.- PlayStation Country

Siralim 2 will keep you occupied for a long, long time if you allow it. The lack of story may make it hard for some to endure but the amount of content to unlock, upgrade and customise will keep people with the right mindset coming back for more.- PlayStation Country

Eekeemoo: Splinters of the Dark Shard may look good at first glance but it is the ugliest of beasts underneath. If the broken, mashing combat or the uninspired gameplay don’t get you then the horrible, unending repetitive soundtrack will.- PlayStation Country

Touhou Double Focus is an okish metroidvania game. It’s not massively long or even deep from a story telling point of view, and the slowdown and average map design weigh heavy on the game. You’re left then with the action to carry you through the three or so hours of game, and unfortunately the action isn’t necessarily up to this limited task.- PlayStation Country

Touhou Genso Wanderer is a very Japanese, and very average, indie roguelite. As this is in the Touhou universe, the same cast of anime characters appear and this may appeal to some people. However, this does little to stand out from the crowd and is vastly overpriced at launch.- PlayStation Country

Heroes of the Monkey Tavern is retro to a fault. Despite simple graphics, and generic enemy designs, the actual dungeon crawling works really well and there is a great sense of discovery to it. Whilst not without its faults, there is a very enjoyable game.- PlayStation Country

Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren’s Call is a decent hidden object puzzle game and is pretty good at what it does. It has also improved on aspects of the earlier games by adding some much needed puzzle variety. This game is not going to appeal to everyone, but it does a great job of being a decidedly casual style of game to appeal to a more casual audience.- PlayStation Country

Punch Club is a unique fighter management game with a great sense of humour and plenty of ’90s style. The gameplay, addictive as it is, becomes punishingly slow and repetitive. They say MMA is a big cause of brain trauma but after many hours with this game, my brain feels like Chuck Liddell has been using it as a speed bag.- PlayStation Country

Flying Bunny brings a mix of shoot ’em up action and Flappy Bird trickiness to the PS4. While it plays like a mobile game, there is some simple arcadey fun to be had before the difficulty spikes and starts taking the fun out of it.- PlayStation Country

Snow Moto Racing Freedom offers a decent snow based arcade racer. There’s a good amount of content, local multiplayer for up to four people as well as online multiplayer. Unfortunately it lacks polish, the snow covered tracks all look the same and the racing isn’t exciting enough to make up for it.- PlayStation Country

Powerhoof have managed to tweak and refine a game that executes on an intriguing premise. It can be a little hard to follow but, with a group of friends, it’s difficult not to buy into the chaos. The hard turns are what this game seems to deliver well and, whilst the AI can provide some capable sparring partners, this game is best served in the company of others.- PlayStation Country

Eventide: Slavic Fable is another solid entry into the light adventuring genre which Artifex Mundi have made their own.The puzzles veer more towards logic puzzles rather than hidden object ones which should be borne in mind. Although there may be nothing too challenging here this is a game which is as much about the story being told as it is the limited gameplay.- PlayStation Country

Zheros has a heart to its varied, bright visuals and depth to its combat which, sadly seems underutilised. Whilst there’s a plethora of combos to bust out, a preference to mash will easily see the job done. Platforming frustrations and the repetition of combat wears down a decent brawler that can’t quite realise its potential.- PlayStation Country

The Legend of Dark Witch is a cheap and cheerful platform shooter with a wafer thin plot and a punishing difficulty. I doubt if it would hold anyone’s attention for long but, for a quick blast, it is perfectly serviceable.- PlayStation Country

The PS4 is host to so many twin-stick shooters and Tango Fiesta does very little to stand out from them. The controls and action aren’t particularly slick and the graphics are very weak but the game isn’t a total dud. Stick with the story mode and you may enjoy the action as your upgrades start to kick in.- PlayStation Country

The mobile roots of Bloons TD 5 are many and varied. However it is cheap and well enough constructed that there is fun to be had, and if you’re looking for a tower defense game this is one of the better ones on the system.- PlayStation Country

Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood is another solid hidden object game and one I thoroughly enjoyed. It takes gentle steps to vary up the puzzles and definitely feels like one of the better games by Artifex Mundi. This is a very easy game to enjoy and the mildly spooky detective story kept my interest throughout.- PlayStation Country
