Bee Simulator is a fun game for kids and adults alike, not so much a simulator as a sandbox in Central Park with a variety of minigames. Yes, the main quest is too short and the races are probably the worst thing about the game but this is a solid effort due to the sheer scope of activities on offer.- PlayStation Country

Crime Boss: Rockay City surprised us. As unheralded as it was, this is a great game that does stealth and action equally well. The setting, the missions and the vibe of it felt a bit like playing a really good Xbox 360 game. And that means something now that most games are open-world borefests.- PlayStation Country

Ganbare! Super Strikers is a tactics-based football game a little bit like Football, Tactics and Glory. Just not as good. We suggest you play that instead.- PlayStation Country

While we're always happy to see obscure retro games get a new audience, it's hard not to be disappointed when they get a lazy port like this. As retro fans, we did enjoy aspects of this lesser-seen Mega Drive title, the enjoyment was fleeting and tempered by some core gameplay issues and problems with the emulation.- PlayStation Country

Zenith isn’t that good and that’s a real shame because on the face of it, things looked promising. The trouble is that the comedy falls flat at every turn and the role-playing elements are so light they’re practically non-existant. Had the developers focused more on gameplay and less on jokes, we might be onto something. Comedy isn’t easy in games and Zenith is exhibit A in the case of how to bad things can get. All is not lost though. The developers have created a functional product and after some more QA testing could have had a fairly average game. I do hope this is a stepping stone onto greater things for them. Don’t believe the reviews giving it zeroes and ones but certainly don’t be fooled into thinking this is anything special either.- PlayStation Country

The great visuals and stunning assets of the Ark franchise are not enough to save ARK Park from mundanity. The game poorly imitates the core elements of Survival Evolved and results in an anaemic and frustrating experience that is further marred by technical challenges and boring content.- PlayStation Country

It's not that Bubsy is terrible, it's that it never ever tries to be anything other than average. For this kind of price, we expect so much more.- PlayStation Country

What would be a fun take on the old 'Choose Your Own Adventure' books is ultimately ruined by game-ruining bugs and poor design choices. However, The Huntsman: Winter's Curse has some exceptional graphics, a decent battle system and an okay story. A patch or two may well help it meet its potential but right now the graphic artist should be very annoyed at the coders that butchered this game.- PlayStation Country

Spheroids never really rises above being average. It has ok presentation and offers some gentle platforming and shooting fun. It suffers from some technical issues, particularly on the Vita. Couple these technical issues with a lack of any kind of difficulty and the game is distinctly average.- PlayStation Country

Tetsumo Party does offer some thrills, despite the small package and cheap price tag. There's fun to be had with a chaotic coop mode and single player does offer some returning value. It runs out of gas fairly quickly but, in short bursts, it can be enjoyable. I do wish the game was more pleasing to look at but there's definitely something to this. Pity there's not more meat to it.- PlayStation Country

Fast and Furious Arcade Edition is a vacuous void of a game that while it might work well in an arcade environment, but is so sadly lacking in this home port. The AI rubberbanding is among the worst we’ve ever seen in our memory, if not ever, to the extent that no matter how well you drive, the opposition will be on you regardless. Don’t waste your time and money buying and playing this, instead pick up Burnout Paradise on the PSN store as you’ll get more from that for less money. Avoid this at all costs.- PlayStation Country

I find Generation Zero to have an interesting, stealthy core that sadly is undermined by a somewhat empty world. The technical issues might lead some to hold off and I do hope Avalanche keep supporting this blueprint. There is an appeal to this that does want me to return, providing something more is on the horizon.- PlayStation Country

Get your head around what this is and Harmonix Music VR is a fun little tool to play with but it has no real value and after thirty minutes, you’ve seen everything. It’s close to being something good but Harmonix need to support this with new modes to make it at all worthwhile.- PlayStation Country

Submersed ultimately makes some key decisions which will frustrate. Enemies are relentless and inventory management feels botched, leading to you require prior knowledge to advance. Stealth is functional but, more often than not, you're tasked with running from foes that are simply quicker and deadlier than you. There's a punishment on offer here that doesn't fit the crime and, whilst the game tries to do well with a small budget, it can't execute on much of it.- PlayStation Country

Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator has potential, but in its current state, that’s all it is. The diagnostic system that underpins the game was broken by the day one patch and remains in a state where the game is effectively unplayable. The gameplay itself is a bit repetitive but no less so than the nine to five grind. We just hope a future patch resolves the issues, because as things stand, we can’t really recommend this.- PlayStation Country

It’s quite difficult to ascertain what Riot: Civil Unrest wants to be. The dull and uncontrollable action would fit quite well as a simulator with something to say. However, the title is bogged down with gamified elements that suggest that this product was built for entertainment, with its guitar laden soundtrack and high score chasing elements. Unfortunately, it becomes a mess of both worlds that fails to be either thought provoking or an enjoyable gaming experience.- PlayStation Country

Super Dungeon Bros is the very definition of average, with bland art style forgettable level design and floaty controls. Whilst more fun can be wrought out of the multiplayer, the chances of finding other people to play this game with is near non-existent. As a result you’re left with a single player game which seems to be poorly balanced and liable to crash.- PlayStation Country

VR has been around for a while now and just being in VR isn’t enough. Like any other kart racer we want interesting levels, tight controls and fun power ups. VR Karts doesn’t deliver any of that. The VR is welcome but without it, there would be literally no reason to own this.- PlayStation Country

On paper, the battle engine should provide an interesting scrap with a varied, albeit small, roster of characters. Unfortunately, the AI feels brutal to fight and the lack of a manual means you're fumbling in the dark until you figure out what works. It's needlessly uninviting with the slim choice of modes and the lack of an online community meaning this game really underwhelms.- PlayStation Country

Rainbow are back in the saddle and there's signs they are a little out of practice. There's nostalgic decisions at play which don't always work out in 2018 but can still raise a smile. Modes are what you'd expect and the visuals look occasionally impressive but the game struggles to keep things steady on the Playstation 4. The novelty of cross-vehicle madness still has hooks and races provide fantastical, open racing. Unfortunately, you'll have to overlook the ever-present performance issues.- PlayStation Country

Whether you have nostalgia for Sega’s Crazy Taxi franchise or not, Taxi Chaos by Lion Castle Entertainment is a hard sell. The game is a poor attempt at mimicking a classic IP in the hopes of bringing the formula to a new audience and fails to capitalise on any of the elements that made the original experience so fun to play in the first place. Taxi Chaos lacks any flair in the gameplay, visuals or audio department, while turning the once entertaining concept into an exercise in boredom.- PlayStation Country

Nickelodeon Kart Racers is a disappointing misstep. It handles fine with some mildly interesting track designs. Sadly, it struggles to really, really lean into the cartoons' individuality. This is a simple ride that won't offer much in the way of challenge and, overall, it lacks some care and attention that could've provided something more compelling.- PlayStation Country

Whilst a change of developer has produced something much improved and playable, Rugby 18's rendition of the sport lacks a flow and cohesion which I find problematic. Set plays are focused whilst the open play is unbalanced and frustrating. There's a foundation there but the lack of modes and teams make the price tough to justify. There's fun to be had but, those wanting something more robust might await a drop or hold back a year.- PlayStation Country

Tamarin is a cute monkey with a gun. It's as jarring as it sounds. Not helped by a wayward camera and some awful checkpointing, this isn't quite the Jet Force Gemini spiritual successor it could be. More like Git Force Gemini.- PlayStation Country

I wanted to give Crimson Keep the benefit of the doubt and, whilst the technical troubles that plagued the Switch version appear to have been rectified, the more fundamental problems remain in sharp focus. The adventure might be short in nature but I just don't find perseverance particularly satisfying. There's no sense of depth or a foothold to be gained from a game that's a little too bare to flourish.- PlayStation Country

Troll and I is a game whose ambition is deflated by a lack of polish and a worrying absence of player guidance. Combat feels serviceable, if a little unsatisfying, and they find good reasons to switch between the two titular protagonists. There’s an endearing story at play but the game itself has enough issues to stifle the most enthusiastic player. Repercussions from poor execution prevent this from being a truly worthwhile experience.- PlayStation Country
